Roberto Luongo Is An Overrated Cunt

Yeah I said it...And if you follow me on Twitter you may have noticed me tweeting that few times...I have made a habit of tweeting throughout the Stanley Cup Finals...And Luongo, and Burrows have taken most of my hate...And now it will continue...

After game 5 Luongo decided to criticize Boston goalie Tim Thomas, and how he plays...mainly talking about the game winning goal Thomas gave up in game 5...Here's what he said...

"It's not hard if you're playing in the paint. It's an easy save for me, but if you're wandering out and aggressive like he does, that's going to happen. He might make some saves that I won't, but in a case like that, we want to take advantage of a bounce like that and make sure we're in a good position to bury those."

okay, not too bad...But the guy who gave up 8 goals in game 3 may want to shut his mouth...Just for the record, Thomas has given up 6 goals in 5 games...Only 6 goals from the 171 shots he has faced...In those same 5 games Luongo faced 155 shots and has given up 14 goals, and was yanked and put on the bench during the third period of game 4...So again, Luongo may want to shut the fuck up...

Then after getting a bit of heat for running his mouth, this dolt Luongo opened it again, saying, "I said he might make some saves that I don't. I was just saying, on that particular play, I would have played it different. That's the difference between me and him. I have been pumping his tires ever since the series started. Getting to this later than I wanted to...After bumping uglies with the wife last night, all I had left in the tank was to watch the end of "Chopped" and crash...But of course the baby woke up and wanted to play, so then I was up for a couple more hours...Today was filled with taking care of the baby, being lazy, picking the other two kids up from their last day of school, and making dinner and food for my wife's office, for some dumb-ass party tomorrow...

First, I have to say that one highlight from today, was seeing Opie and Anthony tweeting the picture of Anthony Weiner's fully erect, and shaved, junk to every and all media outlet after they swiped a shot of it from Andrew Breitbart...What a dope Weiner is!

Now before I get into sports, I have to give the media some shit...And maybe all of us, including myself...As I laugh about Weiner and his cock, and I look at the stats that my BLOG from Monday night about Weiner and Palin, and see it has gotten close to 300 views in two days...While I'm happy people are reading my shit, I wonder, shouldn't the media be pushing some more important stories?

How about the fact that it has finally been released that 3 of the 4 reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear power Plant in Japan, completely melted down...Just like Roberto Luongo is doing right now against the Bruins...Seriously, that is Chernobyl times 3! Yes, Canucks douchebag, Alexander Burrows, bit the finger of Patrice Bergeron in game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals...So what happened? The pussies running the NHL did nothing about it...Burrows went on to score two goals in game 2, helping his team to a 2-0 series lead...The Big Wigs in the NHL have a knack for being inconsistent when it comes to punishment...If this would have been Sean Avery, he would have been suspended for the rest of the series, fined, and new rules would have been written saying his mouth can't be open within 2 feet of another player...

Remember when they wrote the "Avery Rule" two days after this happened...



But enough of that...The biggest reason the Bruins are down 2-0 is their defensemen get caught pinching in too often...Goalie Tim Thomas gets too aggressive and over compensates for his defensemen, especially when they are down, or in OT, and then gets out of position because of it...He needs to rein it in...

In other Hockey news...Wednesday I wrote about the sale of the Atlanta Thrashers, and their move to Winnipeg...And before that I wrote about the shitty, non-supportive fans in Atlanta...So I was thrilled to see this weekend, that Winnipeg sold out their 13,000 Season Ticket plans in 17 minutes...Hey Atlanta, eat a dick! Well Winnipeg, I hope the Thrashers Ice Girls are part of the deal!

Yes, The Atlanta Thrashers sale has happened, and they will be moving to Winnipeg...Ahh, Hockey, back up North where it belongs...No offense to the South, but Hockey really isn't your thing...And this being the second team to leave Atlanta for Canada, well I think that point was made clear...

And no Atlanta, I don't want to hear you crying about this...You had superstar players like Heatley, Kovalchuk, and Hossa...And you didn't show up...You had a team that even when they put together quality seasons, you didn't show up...The franchise lost money every year, and that has more to do with you, then it does ownership, or the players...

Then of course NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, who was all in with this deal...Odd, since he lead the charge to take Hockey to the Sunbelt...So Bettman was all in, but then issued a warning to Winnipeg, that they need to support this franchise, or the league will move them elsewhere...Really Gary!?! You're going to tell Canadians in Manitoba that they need to support a Hockey team!?! What a fucking asshole!

Now to the hot topic in Ohio...Jim Tressel was forced out at Ohio State...The word came down on Memorial day...Not a classy move, but Tressel is full of non-classy moves...I'm sure his hope was on a day like Memorial Day, the story wouldn't get too big, and it would knock a day or two off the news cycle...Guess what, no such luck Jimmy boy...

I lost followers on Twitter because my views on Tressel, which I have shared plenty times before...Dude should have been fired a long time ago...When he left Youngstown State, they got drilled by the NCAA...He has had multiple players locked up...A couple killed...He has always bent the rules, and protected his players...This time he got caught, most likely because of his ego...How could it not be huge with the way people in Ohio love this jerk...

It was amazing to see all the people talking about how unfair it is, and how he should have stayed...How the NCAA should go easy on Ohio State now...NOPE! Ohio State should get the "Death Penalty"...Why? Because at one time, there were at least 28 players who were breaking NCAA rules...28 players in cars they shouldn't have been in...That's 28 players that he knew should have been ineligible, but played them anyways...Pryor had 4 different cars so far...Then the tattoos...Then the big one...When asked, he knowingly lied to the NCAA...

The compliance Department should get whacked...The AD should get whacked...The University needs to be held accountable, just as much as the coach and the players...There is no way they didn't know...The NCAA needs to nut up, and set an example...

Today we celebrate Memorial Day...A day we honor men and women, who are much braver than I'll ever be...We honor them for their service to our country...It's because of them, that I can write a blog, that begins with a lovely lady teasing us with a bit of side-boob!

So far my Memorial Day weekend hasn't been very exciting...Saturday I knocked out a double at The Fish House...Then I knocked back a few Sam Adams...Then I had to deal with a 5 month old who didn't want to sleep...Luckily, the wife let me get a few extra hours of sleep Sunday morning...

Thank God, because then I had to rush around to get yard work done, before it started to rain again...Yes, the weathermen in the Cleve promised perfect weather for the weekend...So just after the grass was cut, and the hedges and bushes were trimmed, the rain started again...

So, I'm expecting nothing but solid rain for Monday's big parade that the kids are in...Can't wait!

I have to say, I'm having trouble coming up with any sports shit to write about...Wednesday I gave ESPN a bit of a BEATING...Then, Friday I made my stand for all BLOGGERS...

Then of course there is the Stanley Cup Finals...The match up is set...Boston vs. Vancouver...I'm rooting for the Bruins, but this is gonna be a tough battle...Vancouver has plenty of firepower, and a strong blueline...Yes Luongo is a good goalie...But I'll always thing he's overrated, and I'm still waiting for him to choke...

The Bruins have to grind out every point they get...Tim Thomas has proven all year, that he can win games on his own, but he'll need help from his defensemen in this series...The Bruins are a better team when they are playing with a lead, so their offense has to get out to good starts...I expect to see 7 games in this series...Sadly, thanks to the NHL and NBC, we have to wait until Wednesday for the puck to drop...Too much time between games!

Freedom of Speech: Not Just For Radio Douchebags

That's right, Freedom of Speech is actually something we all have...But often I hear gasbags on the radio, and on TV who feel that right is only for the people who have a degree in communications...Well fuck all that!

Here's where I'm coming from...Today, after work, on my way to pick the kids up from school, I had the Scott Van Pelt Show on the Radio...SVP, and his co-host who gets screwed on the name recognition, Ryen Rusillo, were talking about a Scottie Pippen interview from the Mike & Mike Show...They were going on about some who is better, LeBron or Jordan...Blah, blah, blah...I fucking hate Basketball, but we all know Jordan was the shit...

Anyway, the topic seemed to go off track when Van Pelt started talking about how Jordan didn't have to deal with the same scrutiny as James, because "The world today is so cynical, and angry." And of course, most of the blame for this anger and cynicism was put on Twitter and Bloggers...My God, these talking heads love to hate on bloggers...I think they actually see themselves becoming irrelevant because of all the quality bloggers, and vloggers out there...

But guess what, Anger and cynicism have always been in this world...It's just now people have an outlet for it...An outlet that is easy for you, or anyone to access...In the good old days, I guy would have a shit day at work, hear something on the radio on his way home, that pissed him off...He get home, bitch about to his wife, who wasn't listening, and then go kick the dog, and tell the kids to leave him alone...Now he can pull out iPhone, or laptop, and fire off a tweet, or write a blog, and boom...That shit's off his chest, and the dog doesn't have any broken ribs...

But for some reason twats like these guys don't think our opinions matter....(I actually like their show, usually)...I've also heard this crap from one of my favorite comedians...Jim Norton who is also 3rd mic on my favorite radio show, The Opie and Anthony Show, has bitched about bloggers before...I've heard him go off, just bashing bloggers, and how they suck, and no one cares, and how they're needy for attention...What, and his ego isn't needy for attention, standing on stage, or talking on the radio? I love Norton, but this is one thing that bothers me...

Technology, and the Internet has afforded the everyman the ability to get their thoughts and opinions off their chest, and out there...It doesn't matter if 2 people read it, or 2 million...It's out there, and it's off my chest...Freedom of Speech wasn't just given to Radio show host...Newspaper Reporters, TV talking heads...It's not just for those with a degree in communications, or for a guys that got lucky and fell into a great job...It's there for all of us...Even dopes like me with a degree in business, who sweats his balls off in a kitchen for a living...So you can trash bloggers, and I can trash you...Eat a dick...That's the beauty of it!

The first topic I'm hitting on is this Ray Lewis interview with Sal Palintonio (Don't care if I spelled it right) from ESPN...I love the fact that ESPN does this interview, then a number of their Radio talking heads take one small clip, and beat to death...(You know, like those guys Ray Lewis and his boys murdered)

They keep playing the clip where Lewis talks about how crime will be on the rise if there is no NFL season...When I first hear this snip it, I thought, "What a fucking asshole!" Which is what these dolts want us to think...They made it out like Lewis was saying, NFL players would be robbing, and killing people, because of the lockout...But what Lewis was talking about was all the people who "live through us"...Huh...Who the fuck lives through you...But Sal guided him into talking about the people who work at stadiums and shit like that...Ray, said "There's nothing else to do Sal!"

Hey Ray, the Fish House is looking for a dishwasher...Maybe a part-time cook...Also Ray, could you stop acting like the NFL is the savior of the world...It isn't, and you aren't John the Baptist either...Shut the fuck up...

You see last night's San Jose, Vancouver game had a kind of fluke, ending to it...In the second overtime, Canucks defenseman, Elder, went to dump the puck into the corner...He put it up on the glass, everyone was looking for it to go around the boards, but it hit one of the stanchions between the glass, and kiccked back out to the blue line...Everyone was looking for the puck as it ended up of Canucks defenseman, Kevin Bieska's stick...He shot immediately, and before anyone knew it, it was in the goal...Game over...

So afterwards Linda Cohn tweeted this..."Play to you hear the whistle. The #Sharks forgot. #Canucks did not. On to the Finals first time since '94. Luongo 56 saves. #welldone"
