Today we dropped our oldest daughter off at college. Normally a BIG moment in people's lives and for families. But it didn't have that exact feel that you expect, because like so much in these times it was kind of fucked up. You see, this event was meant for last August, but two weeks before move-in we were informed she would have to do her first year online from home, yet the only money we saved was on her dorm and meal plan. Personally I think some of the tuition should have been kicked back to us as well.

Sadly, fucked is something becoming normalized for us. Her Senior year of high school got fucked by COVID and then going away for her first year of college get fucked by COVID. Now there she is, a second year student feeling like a freshman...with things still fucked by COVID. Still on high alert. Still wearing masks still not getting the full experience.

 I said fucked by COVID, but at this stage things are fucked by COVID mostly because of the ignorant, Trump loving, FOX NEWS watching selfish, brainwashed, fucking assholes! Fucktards that would rather buy fake vaccine cards instead of getting a free vaccine. Cunts who would rather buy cow deworming medicine instead of getting a free vaccine. Dipshits who scream about the evils of vaccines while they have had a lifetime of getting vaccines and never bitched about it until Tucker Carlson and the crazy QAnon lady told them to.

 By the way, all Fox News employees are vaccinated and have to show proof and wear masks at work. They and those jack ass governors in Florida and Texas don't care if you and your kids live or die. These cocksuckers are screaming that mask mandates are "government overreach," yet them making laws banning mask mandates and cutting funding for school districts and staff if they do implement mandates, is somehow not "government overreach." Sorry dickheads, you can't have it both ways!

These fucking people who scream "my body my choice" about wearing a fucking mask, but never gave a damn about anyone else who said "my body my choice." Typical Republican hypocrisy. 'My rights to not wear a mask are important, your reproductive rights aren't.'

These fucking dolts are out here trying to shutdown COVID testing sites and vaccination centers. They are screaming to not allow children to wear masks...Children who cannot get vaccinated yet...And they say God will protect them and save them. These types of religious people are the worst because they cheery-pick what God is good for. They give him credit for creating this and that, damn near everything, themselves included, but somehow, in their uncle fucking mind, their God didn't create smart people and doctors and scientists. 

They'll thank God for when they won that high school football game back in the day and they'll thank God for the food on their table, but their God had nothing to do with science? Odd huh? Since Science helped figure out growing that food...And what, God was all in with the butcher shop and the grocery store and the trucking industry that got everything where it needed to be so you could eat, but God has no hand in the people who create medicine and vaccines. God has nothing to do with the amazing Doctors and Nurses trying to heal people and save lives? 

Okay God will save you people, here's the deal. When you or your spouse get sick or your kid, that you as such a great parent, didn't protect, gets sick to this point pictured above...FUCK YOU! Don't go to the Hospital! Go to church! Call up your God. Ask him why your kid is dying. Ask him to help. 

If you're lucky enough enough to get an answer, you know what he'd say? Hey asshole, I gave you a free vaccine and scientific experts who told you what precautions to take, and instead you bitched, moaned and complained like a bunch of cunts!

Republicans Have Made Their Choice, Their Choice is Stupid!

 

Yes, that's Marjorie Taylor Greene on the campaign trail, she brought that cardboard cutout of Trump up to the podium, and then caressed it's crotch. That's the "Family Values" party gang! 

Yesterday the House Democrats stripped her of her Committee seats, only 11 Republicans voted with the Democrats. The night before Republicans said she denounced her past statements and apologized, to them. But when given the chance to speak on the floor yesterday, she apologized to no one. She said her past statements were in the past and were not said while she was a member of Congress. Pretty weak defense if you ask me. Especially since I watched a video of hers from after the election, where she states, "there will be no peaceful transition of power like Joe Biden wants," adding that Trump one, because of all the elected officials who have carried Trump's big lie, she has done the most heavy lifting. (I will not be posting any of her video clips. If you haven't seen them you can find them if you want, but I'm not giving her pageviews.)

On the floor she said "School shootings are real," but she didn't say Sandy Hook or Parkland were real. Those are the two she in the past specifically called fake and "false flag operations." She said that "9-11 happened." Well thanks for the BREAKING NEWS you cunt! But her QANON, 9-11 argument was never that 9-11 didn't happen. She often said how "no plane hit the Pentagon," and that it was all a secret inside job, planned by Obama. She didn't denounce anything, take anything back, or apologize for anything. Like Trump, she spoke in code, did the dance to make the Republican establishment feel better while still signaling to her lunatic base that she's all in with Q. 

She then turned all the blame on the media. Yes, it's the medias fault that they showed the world your ignorant social media posts, and your videos that you live streamed and posted on websites. Listen you stupid twat, I just wrote that you're a stupid twat, but it really didn't happen until CNN tells people I said you are a stupid twat...RIGHT!?!

She did not deny, apologize or even acknowledge her support of the the comment that the best way to get rid of Nancy Pelosi is with "a bullet to the head."

Her talk of the Secret Rothschilds space laser being used to start California wildfires was never brought up. Her repeated Anti-Semitic, Homophobic, Transphobic, Islamophobic, Racist, hate speech was not addressed. Remember folks, this bitch in 2019 went to the Capitol with a Christian Bible and wanted to try to force Muslim members of Congress to swear their oath on it, because she was pissed that they swore their oath on the Quran. Yes, she was filming this stunt, as she did with all her stunts...And she was rambling on about how they went against The Constitution by using the Quran. See, this stupid bitch has never read The Constitution, but some one told her it says freedom of speech and you can own guns, and that's all she knows about it. The fact is, the document says nothing about what their oaths of office need to be sworn in on. If you want to swear in on People Magazine, you can. 

So, here's a little lesson for Maj. 

The First Amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

That means, it forbids Congress from promoting one religion over others, as well as restricting an individual's religious practices. So yes Maj, you can say your ignorant shit, but it just proves you're bigot and a fucking idiot.

Considering only 11 Republicans voted with the Democrats, it's clear, there are a lot of bigots, QANON supporters, and/or fucking idiots now in the in the House GOP. 

This next little section isn't about her crazy shit she says or believes. It's just about the type of piece of shit she is. All these QANON people think she's one of them, blue collar, regular American. Nope, like Trump, she's a grifter and hasn't earned a fucking thing in her life. "Her" construction company, she was given, by her father. She applied for and received a PPP loan, but she wants you all to ignore that, especially since she was vocally opposed to any COVID Stimulus or relief package. Oh, and after getting that PPP loan, she donated $450,000 to her CAMPAIGN. 

 

She took to twitter to when it was announced that the Democrats were going to vote to remove her from her seats, bragging that it was helping her fundraising. Then after her not-apology floor speech where she asked for forgiveness, "we all make mistakes" and said how lies have to stop, she sent out a fundraising email/social media blast full of lies about Ilham Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib. 

She is using every page of the Trump playbook and Republicans seem to be just as chicken-shit, afraid of her ignorant ass, as they have been of his ignorant ass.

I'm going to post Steny Hoyer's closing remarks from the 'debate to remove this gash from her committees. It's 17 minutes long, but you should watch it all.  The man spit fire & truth and called for Republicans to decency. They are the party that has often tried to claim that the are the moral example. Clearly, by their vote, they aren't.  

There Is No God

That's a title that probably isn't surprising to see considering the epic cluster fuck that is 2020...And we still half the year to go...It's easy to look at COVID and the Trump Administration, and Police Brutality, and murderous cops who are still free, #JusticeForBreonnaTaylor...And the fact that there are secret police in Portland, and Americans that scream about athletes kneeling during the National Anthem, who turn around and wave Nazi and Confederate (flag of traitors of the United States) flags while they scream against equality and Black Lives Matter and scream about their mayors and governors trying to keep them safe and healthy by asking them to wear masks during a global pandemic...

All of that alone is enough to make someone say, 'there is no god'....

But faith, religion that's a personal thing...Yes some try to push it on others and cram it down our throats...But it's a personal choice/belief system...So this post comes from a personal point of view...I went to Catholic School for 12 years...In 8th grade I told my parents I didn't want to make my Confirmation because I wasn't ready and I didn't believe in it...They asked me to "just do it and get it over with."  My folks were never super religious...But I think they just wanted to give us a foundation to work off of...

My Catholic high school actually did give us a taste for one semester of other religions, pointing out the differences and similarities...It felt like a propaganda class to pump themselves up...What it did for me was to get me to checkout other religions...Come to find out, they all steal different things from each other and they're all somewhat full of shit...Yeah, for some people it's a good thing to have a fake all power feeling being watching over you...It helps explain shit away...For some it gives a moral compass...Maybe that's a good thing for people who were raised by assholes and didn't get morals and common decency instilled in them...

But then a few days ago I read THIS article on Irish Central...It was a good article but what sent me spinning down this spiral was the comments on Irish Central Facebook page below the link for this article...It was non-stop shitheads...Bashing the LGBTQ community...So many people telling the gay community to get out...There of course those that misquoted the Bible, those that didn't know it had been edited in 1946...There were those who slipped in anti-Semitic comments as well, completely clueless that The Old Testament of their Bible is ripped from the much older, Tanakh, AKA; the Hebrew Bible...As a matter of fact, most of Christianity's doctrine was ripped from other religions...So their high and mighty outlook cracks me the fuck up...

But it just kept driving me crazy that this faith that is suppose to be all about love and caring and helping one another is full of fucking assholes...Bigots, sexists, racists, misogynists, rapists, child rapists, fucking assholes...Intolerant, uncaring, fucking pieces of shit that push away anyone that doesn't fit into their perfect little idiotic box! Except you fuckers are the farthest thing from perfect...Shit, have you read your "good book?" you're the farthest thing from it's teachings...

So how can there be a god, if so many of his followers are ignorant as fuck? Yeah, I know it's not all of you, but it's way too many of you...Where the fuck is the vengeful that punishes assholes?

As I said, I was in a spiral after this shit...It just got me thinking more and more about the religion I was raised in, and the whole GOD question I've been dealing with for pretty much all my life...And then I thought about the situation we (my family) are in right now...I touched on it a couple weeks back in a 'Monday Moaning" post...Since COVID we had to move my Mother-in-law in with us...She has dementia and it has taken a toll on my wife, my kids and myself...We saw my father-in-law go down this same road and it sucked...but now it's here, in our house, every day....And we've learned that sadly, some of a person's true thoughts and feelings and quirks come out with dementia...

I'm not going to bite my tongue...She's a pain in the ass...It's often like dealing with a bratty child...She bitches about the men in her life that have died, husband, brothers, friends, "they took care of me"..."they were suppose to take care of me"....but she ignores that we are taking care of her, and bitches about us taking care of her...If we didn't, she'd be lying in a gutter babbling...She steals things...She laughs about stealing things...In the early weeks of her living here she talked a lot about how she always "had to break rules growing up"..."Even just something small, I had to break a rule everyday"....Yeah, well, she's a thief and hides shit in her underwear drawer...Sometimes it's dumb shit, like a box that was in our recycling bin, that she just had to have...

She lives every day in a house with three of her grandchildren and doesn't remember them at all and looks at them like 'what the fuck are you doing here?' You tell her who they are, and she has no interest in trying to remember them or re-get to know them even if she forgets tomorrow...

Based on the fact that she barely worked in her life, her tales of how everyone else (Brothers, Husband, Fiends, ) who took care of her, including the bank teller that would just fill out a slip for her and give her money from her mother's account, she was always spoiled...And other than being the mother to 4 kids, and my wife will tell you how she checked out on that in her early teens, that's all she did...That's all she contributed to society...

She has flat-out said that "all the fun in her life ended after she got married"...Her life was miserable after she had kids..."She just wanted to scream all the time"....She's rude as hell to us, and ungrateful as fuck...She doesn't get it that it's either here or locked up in a nursing home's Dementia ward where no one will be able to visit her because of COVID...

I'm stuck with her...A woman who, not her fault, is useless and is an anchor to my family...But you do what you have to for family...You help those in need...you bite your tongue to and you get up everyday make her tea, mop up her piss, cook her meals, give her meds,  answer the same question 70 times, take her on walks, explain shit over and over...I didn't need god and religion to tell me that...I learned that from my parents...You do what you have to do for family...

And she is stuck here...in her moments of lucidity, asking "is it okay to pray to die?"  Because the only people in here mush brain she cares about are dead...Her knees have no cartilage and she's in constant pain, but her doctor can't let her get knee surgery because her dementia is so bad there's no way she could handle it and the rehab...She has no idea where she is and what's going on in the world, let alone in this house...She sometimes doesn't even recognize my wife, her daughter...Her brain is fucked and it won't shutdown...She went to Church every week of her life until COVID...And Sunday's are the toughest day of the week in this house, trying to repeatedly explain why there is no church....Yeah, she might be a thief, but she always went to church and said her prayers to God...

What kind of God does this to one of his loyal followers?  Why would a god make her suffer?  Why would a god make her daughter suffer through seeing both her parents go through this?   Why would he allow her to be such a bitch to her daughter who is doing all she can to take care of her?  

My mother died 3 years ago after a long fight with cancer...She was an amazing mother, great wife, great friend and the greatest grandmother you can imagine...She was full of life, and love and strength...She was a fully functioning being...She gave to this world...She was always the calm in the storm...

What the fuck kind of God takes that away?

What the fuck kind of God takes her away and leaves a suffering mess to drag the people caring for her down?


I know, "Everything happens for a reason"..."God only gives you as much as you can handle"....I've heard them all, I have even said a few...It's bullshit!

And as I just rattled off of pile of shit that is going on these days with me and in the world, religious people will try and point out to me how God is in things like he mothers in Portland who stood in front of the protesters and sang in lullaby fashion, "Hands up. please don't shoot me"....Which I loved and retweeted and shared on facebook...But I say NO...that is people standing up...If  God was so damn great he would have struck down the murderous police officers that have spurred on the protest across this country...They would have been hit by lightning or less dramatic, a heart attack, before they killed George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and so many more...

If there was God he would have known this world still needed my mother.

That my friends is what the 1st Amendment says...So no matter what anyone says, we are not a "Christian Nation"...We are a nation made of many beliefs, and ideas, and we are free to have those beliefs and ideas...And our elected officials are not suppose to push their beliefs, or my beliefs, or your beliefs on everyone else...

This post, clearly is inspired by the law that some were trying to push through in Arizona...Luckily, for the sake of freedom, and common sense, the governor vetoed it...It also helped that big businesses, including the NFL put pressure on her...

Why did I say common sense...Because while many read the proposed law and saw it giving people the right to discriminated against gays and lesbians, if you read it closely, and clearly, it did more then that...A business owner who believes pre-marital sex is a sin, could turn all your fornicators away...They could look at me, and say, 'Oh no! you masturbate...Get out!'  A Muslim business owner could turn an "infidel" like me away just because our religious beliefs are different...

That's the shit people didn't see...Politicians and the media made it all about discriminating against gays...Which, many of the people behind it, are fine with...That's how they feel...Me, not so much...I have a number of gay friends, and they're no different from anyone else...They don't try to fuck me in the ass, and I don't try to tell them how great pussy is...And it is!  That's what makes America great...We have our own lives and beliefs and we don't force feed them to each other...But the law could have opened up even greater cans of worms as I pointed out...

Sadly, it isn't over...While Arizona got all the coverage, there are 11 other states, right now, with the same type of law trying to be worked through their system...Including my own backwards-ass state of Ohio...So my advice people...Start paying attention to what your elected officials are doing...Don't let politicians religious beliefs dictate local, state, or federal policy...If religions are going to get into everyone's personal lives via politics, and law, then they need to lose their tax exempt status...That's right churches, temples, mosques, those quiet little cult churches in garages just so you can be tax exempt, and all others...You want to get in on the policy wars, start kicking in your fair share...We're tired of carrying you!


-As for why I didn't post Monday...This weekend, I used my Christmas gift card to get my daughter a new clarinet...(I did find a good sale, $500 off) she played the hell out of the first one, and it went in for $100 worth of repairs, so I thought maybe it time for an upgrade...Then the Mrs. needed a serious upgrade on glasses/contacts...With the exam, contacts, two pairs of glasses...Well, it was more then I wanted to drop...Plus there was groceries, and other crap...Shit got expensive this weekend...So Sunday afternoon, I got drunk...Bombed by 5:00 PM...A little hockey, and sleeping by 10:00 PM...

-Outdoor Hockey...KNOCK IT OFF!!!

I'm sick of hearing how great these outdoor games are...Did you see that shit Saturday night...The puck being passed, and shot, and stopped inches later by the snow accumulation on the ice...It was slow, and stupid...The one game in New York was delayed, because no one realized everyday at noon, in Yankee Stadium you get a glare on a certain part of the field, which was blinding off the ice...The next game in New York, sucked...The ice was garbage, because it was too cold out...Hell, the game in LA had better ice conditions...The game in Michigan...Again with the snow...Then this past Sunday, up in British Columbia...It was raining, so they closed the retractable roof...So it wasn't an outdoor game, and still players complained about the ice being slow...

6 outdoor games in one season has killed the uniqueness of the New Years Day Winter Classic...Now it's just fucking stupid...That's the NHL...They can fuck up any good thing...

What Have We Become?

In this spot, I normally write about college football...That won't be happening this week...Friday, 12-14-12, I had planned on writing a little piece on my daughter Molly...It was her second birthday, and I had all this great stuff to say about her...But after hearing what happened at Sandy Hook School Friday, I just wanted to get to my kids, and just be with them...

Work was crazy, busy last week, and this week will be more of the same...I didn't find out what had happened until 2:30 PM...That was the first chance I had to catch my breath and take a look at my phone...My wife texted me the little she knew...When I left work an hour later I was getting more details from the radio...I was sick to my stomach...I got the kids...We went home, ordered pizza and waited for mom to get home...We didn't talk about what happened for awhile...I just wanted us all to be...

I'll be honest, the news put me in a pretty dark place...I had the feeling that maybe all this talk of the world ending next week was for a reason...Maybe the world is sick of us humans...Maybe we don't deserve it...Within a week, two mass shootings...Let alone the non-stop violence that goes every day, that we don't hear about on the news...We've just excepted that their is going to be another shooting on the Chicago streets tonight...Oh, and a guy slashed 22 kids in China with a knife the same day...Maybe the world deserves better...

Then as my wife and I, and our oldest daughter watched the news, my wife in tears...Me holding them back...I was saddened more, when my daughter was able to talk about it all so calmly...She is a smart, sweet, sensitive kid...And when things bother her, she'll talk them out...I realized her entire life has been in a time where there has been 24 hour, non-stop coverage, instant everything, and a time when mass shootings have become a common occurrence...My God, are our children becoming desensitized to awful shit like this?

This shooting has really thrown me for a loop...20 kids...6 and 7 year olds...Gunned down....Why? What could drive anyone to do such a thing? I just can't wrap my head around it...I'm not a super religious person, but if there is such a place as Heaven...These 20 little kids, and the 6 adults who died trying to save them, and who save many others, deserve to be in such a place...

And since I brought up religion, I'd like to take issue with the people online, and in the media, who have made comments such as 'This happened because prayer/God was taken out of schools.' We are a nation of many faiths...Not just yours...Public Schools are not the place for religion...You want your kids to get religion/God in school, do what we did...Knuckle up and pay for Private/Catholic school...Don't give me crap about it costing too much...If my broke ass can do it, you can...You know where I started?  I sold my most valuable guitars...We made sacrifices...That's what you do when you care about something, or you feel important...

I've also seen and heard many people complaining about pundits talking about gun control, and gun owners' rights...Yes, I'm sick of pundits talking...I want to see some real leaders talking, and debating...Yes, actually debating...That would be nice...People say it's too soon to bring this debate up...2 mass shootings in 1 week...2 small communities, that never thought it would happen there...20, six and seven year olds gunned down but some fuck-stain...This is exactly the time for a real debate to happen....Why is the First Amendment attacked so harshly by those defending the Second Amendment?  I don't know what the answer is...I don't know if we can fix the problem...But I know it needs to be talked about...Ideas need to be shared...Days like 12/14/12 need to never happen again...

Monday Moaning

Well, my weekend had started out pretty damn good...Friday night the wife and I went to dinner...We both had steak, because that fish on Friday thing is crap...Just an old bullshit deal the Church worked out with the fishermen to help increase the sales of fish...Then we saw the movie "Safe House"...Pretty good...I liked it...Kept you wondering, and had some good action...Then on the way home I talked the wife into giving me some road head...Always good!

But after about an hour after wee got home, something happened...Something went wrong...Twitter blew up with the news that the Washington Redskins had traded 3 first round picks, and a 2nd round pick to the Rams, to move up to the number two slot in the draft...Locking up the ability to draft Robert Griffin III...My dream of seeing this was crushed


Kid looked good in Brown and Orange...

I was pissed...Then rumors came out that the Browns had actually been in the mix...Offering almost as much...But honestly, I don't believe anything Adam Schefter says...Guy just throws shit against the wall and waits to see if it sticks...He's wrong at least 75% of the time! So I'm skeptical about how much the Browns really dug into the trade talks...

That said, looking at all the holes the Browns have to fill, and the fact that GM Tom Heckert said he doesn't plan on making a splash in free agency, maybe it's better they didn't give up this year's 1st and 2nd, along with their next two 1st rounders...(Yeah, I'm trying to be positive)...

Then of course we have had to deal with the Peyton Manning circus...Christ, early in the week the news broke that the Colts were going to release Manning, and all the fuck-stains at ESPN acted as if they were shocked by this...We all knew this was going to happen. Why is everyone going bat-shit about it?

Then the "Bounty-gate" talk has continued...First, I'm sick of everything semi-scandalous event, or topic having "gate" added to the end of it...This is all Nixon's fault...Ever since Watergate, we have had to put up with this...But fuck-heads, it took place in the Watergate Hotel...Gate doesn't mean bad, or dirty, or scandal...It was just part of the hotels name...So knock off all the "gate" shit!

Second, fuck all this pussy talk about this bounty shit...Monstrous men, playing a violent game, having their coach offer them money to take the violence up a notch...How and why is it so shocking? What shocking is it took this long for some one to actually talk about it...

Now I'm going to get into the political waters...Always dangerous, I know...I've avoided politics for awhile...I've been pretty much sick of all these dolts! But I have to speak up about this Rick Santorum idiot...

Listen, I understand and I can respect that there are people who's political views can be some-what shaped by their faith...But this guy is out there constantly talking about religion...Nothing about the economy...Nothing about foreign policy...Nothing about the environment...Nothing about the cost of education going up, while the quality of education is going down...It's just all about his Christianity...Are you running for President of the United States, or High Priest?

Santorum said that Kennedy's speech about separation of Church and State made him want to puke...Then I see some idiot bitch on TV saying she likes him because he believes in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights...No he doesn't! If he did he'd be all for Separation of Church and State...This country was founded Freedom of Religion...Not 'freedom to be Christian and if you aren't we're going to force our beliefs on you.'

Rush likes to stand on some moral high ground...Really, guy who has been divorced 3 times...He's on wife #4, yet he's fathered no kids...Were they using contraception? Has Rush been shooting blanks all these years? Maybe...Could be a side effect from all those years abusing Oxy!

It's odd, these two guys are a couple of these fuckers who say Government is too big, and needs to back off...But then they want to tell people what they can and can't do in their bedrooms...They turn around and say, 'You two women can't love each other, can't muff dive, and can't get married.' Or they say, 'Of course have sex with your wife, but no birth control allowed.' Or, 'Sorry you had a fucked up family member who sexually abused you, and got you pregnant, but you aren't allowed to abort it.' Yet none of these fuckers are standing in line to adopt the unwanted children they want to force women to have...

And fuck off if you to bash me for being pro-choice...Sorry, I don't believe some suit should be making choices for all women because of his faith...And while I believe that, clearly I'm pro-life...I got these three kids running around making me crazy don't I!

If your religious, if you have faith in a higher power, fucking awesome...But your faith shouldn't be trying to dictate government policy for a country made up all kinds of different faiths, and people who don't attach themselves to a particular faith...

Monday Moaning

So this week I have no loss for words...Partly thanks to Boston College rolling into South Bend...I didn't see her around, but after the weekend the Eagles had, I bet she stayed for some Fighting Irish cock!

First Friday night, the #3 BC hockey team came into to face the #4 Fighting Irish...It was a good, tough, physical battle...Both teams gave each other all they had...And it went to overtime, with The Irish pulling out the win, with less then 2 seconds left...Here's a 2 and a half minute highlight show for ya...




Then Saturday, the Eagles football team, which blows big time this year, had to take on the Irish, and all the hoopla that goes with Senior day...Now the Irish defense played well, as they have most of the year...The offense, while they put up over 400 yards total yards, they had a lot of trouble punching it into the end zone...BC's defense made a point to rattle QB Tommy Rees...The secondary was giving him different looks, while the pass rush kept him in check, knowing that he can't run to save his life...

It wasn't a pretty game, and once again, after the Irish get back in the national rankings, they fell flat on their face...A double digit favorite, and they were lucky to squeak out a 16-14 win...Lots of talent, especially on defense, but still a lot of work to do...Next week the Irish are at Stanford to take on this super-hyped Andrew Luck guy...I hope the defense brings all they got, and put that kid on his ass all night long!

-Now, before I get into the rest of Saturday, and Sunday...I want to rewind to Thursday night and that Jesus Tebow guy...Oh, I mean Tim Tebow...


But yes, the super, in your face religious, fullback...I mean Quarterback of the Denver Broncos has a mess of disciples who really think he is the "Second Coming"...So much so that some of these fuck-tards have started taking his #15 jersey and having "JESUS" put on the back...

Now, if you know me, you know I'm not the most religious person out there...All my years of Catholic education left me asking more questions then what they answered...That said...I'm I the only one who thinks putting "JESUS" on a Tebow jersey is kind of a slap in the face to the Holy Father, his Son, and the Holy Spirit? I just gotta think, that Jesus could actually complete at least 70% of his passes...I mean Robert Griffin III has a 72.9 completion percentage...Surely the son of God could do that...So while I' get that you love the shit out of Tebow, and can't stop swinging from his nuts, have a bit of respect his and your religious beliefs...If you did, you would be wearing a #15 "JESUS" jersey asshole!

And how do Rex Ryan and his staff still have jobs after letting Tebow beat them...Everyone watching knew dude was gonna run, and can barely throw...Why didn't you defensive genius?

-Oh, and did I mention Robert Griffin III...If you go back to my HEISMAN PREVIEW, I recall saying how this kid is my favorite...

Some how he got stuck with that "Running QB" label...Well all he's done this year is complete 245 of 336 passes, for 3.572 yards...33 TD's with only 5 interceptions...Oh, and he's rushed for over 500 yards...He plays at Baylor, so he isn't getting the love he deserves, but I'd gladly take him on my team any day...Especially after he took out Oklahoma Saturday night....

With 51 seconds left, Griffin drove the ears 80 yards in 5 plays...He had two scrambles, one for 22 yards and the other for 8 yards...Then he found Terrance Williams in the end zone with a 34 yard strike, beating Oklahoma 45-38...

Thanks to Griffin and company, and USC beating Oregon, the SEC is thumbing it's collective noses at everyone, as they now have the #1, #2, and #3 teams in the country, totally fucking up the BCS!

And then after the game, ESPN's top slut with a microphone, had to make sure that she wasn't losing all the attention, so she had one of her crew dump Gatorade on her (that's not proven, just what suspect)...Oh, look at my nice wet tits....




But the best video of the weekend has to be Lee Corso's "Ahh Fuck it!"




I swear to God if ESPN fires Corso, or even suspends him, I will write blogs daily about all the other F-bombs, and stupid shit that has slipped by on their networks...It was a great, excited, honest moment, and people have to except it that people say fuck sometimes...Even on TV...Relax...It was great TV, especially Herbstreit trying to roll his chair off camera, while Fowler holds his head in his hands...All the while, the Houston coach is loving it!

-And Sunday, there was the Browns...Squeaking out a ugly 14-10 victory over Jacksonville...

Yes, another ugly Browns game, but they pulled out the win...Colt McCoy and the passing game looked pretty good, and a big reason why, was 4th string running back Chris Ogbonnaya actually rushed for 115 yards...The Browns first 100 yard rusher in 12 games...Amazing how the run can open up the pass huh coach Shurmur...I don't give a shit what he says, coach listens to talk radio and reads blogs, because the offense finally did some things we've been bitching about not seeing...That said, the Defense carried them again, and the Offense has a lot of work to do!

And that picture of Josh Cribbs catching a touchdown pass...There's something wrong with it...Something that has been wrong with the Browns all year long...If you can't figure it out, don't worry...I'll be posting that blog tomorrow!

Bumper Stickers Stink and I Don't Like Them

Okay, that one is funny...But seriously, can we please knock it off with the damn bumper stickers...It's 2011...We don't need bumper stickers when we have instant everything on our phones...We have Facebook and Twitter if you need to say something catchy...You don't ruin your stupid car!

Yeah, dummies, bumper stickers depreciate the value of your car...That means an extra dick in your ass when you're trying to trade it in...

Rules what? God is like a NFL Quarterback...He gets too much credit, and too much blame...Seriously, did God rule the Stock Market into the ground on Thursday? Did God have the say in the MLB trade deadline deals...How about NFL Free-agency?

Does God rule us all around the world, like his own giant chess game...If so, why does he rule a bunch of fucking idiots into power and wealth, while better people scape by and get shit on by the system?

God Was in My Bed...

Okay, maybe not...But between that title and the picture, I'm sure I caught your attention...And yes, God is the feature topic of this post...If you read my last POST, you know I get salty when God and Politics and matters of the State get mixed together...Well that's not the only time it gets under my skin...

My 12 years of Catholic schooling taught me many things...Including that God or a Higher Power does not picks sides in sporting events...I have attended mass at The Basilica at Notre Dame, and gone to the Grotto countless times, and not only did I not pray for a victory, I'm pretty sure if I did, it wouldn't have mattered...It's not God's fault the Irish couldn't stop NAVY's option attack...

We often hear athletes thank God after a big victory...How they couldn't have done it without him...Hell I saw that JET dude from the Mavericks do it...(Yeah I don't really follow basketball)...And then LeBron James tweeted how God wasn't ready for him to win a championship yet...Ummm guys, I highly doubt that the Almighty was really focused on your Basketball game!

The NBA Draft was Thursday night...The NHL Draft started Friday night...There have been guys drafted in both, who got in front of a mic and thanked, "The Lord Jesus Christ." He didn't get you drafted! You coaches over the years...Your parents...The quality competition you faced...Hard work and determination....These things got you drafted...

We've seen entertainers thank God when they win awards...Really? God enjoyed your movie so much more, that he snapped his fingers and said, 'YOU WIN!' Grow up people!

I'm not hating on people for being religious...I'm not shitting on them for having a strong commitment to their Faith...Whatever gets you through your days...If it helps you sleep at night, great...But I think there needs to be a bit of common sense involved...The idea of God, or an all-powerful being, that is in charge of this crazy world, is big...That's serious shit...And to think this higher power really gives a shit about who wins and loses the "Super Bowl" just seems silly to me...

I mean isn't he busy right now, with the drought, the wild-fires, the flooding, raining out Tee-Ball games...Japan being radioactive from 3 meltdowns, and still having small quakes...Alaska has had Quakes all week...Wars around the world...Genocide in Africa...Seems like there are some things ahead of who wins and loses on the big guy's to-do list...

Oh, and by the way Kurt Warner and LeBron James...All that bad stuff I mentioned...You know, the wars, genocide, floods, earthquakes, droughts, blah, blah, blah, all that...Now is God causing that? Or is he suppose to fix that stuff...Just wondering!

I'm Really Getting Sick of People

This is going to be one of those angry posts...I had the day off to take the baby to the doctor's office...Shot day sucks! Then the Little Beeze had to see an allergist because the spring/summer has got his eczema going crazy...Telling a 6 year old boy he is allergic to grass sucks...And getting him to not dive for ground balls is out of the question...He wouldn't listen if I told him not to dive in the grass...

But that's not what this is about...Those things just helped me stay in a crabby mood about some other things that have been in the news the last week...

First off, Roger Ebert...You stupid, drooling asshole...I'm all for cracking jokes, and busting balls, but could you at least wait a couple days before you make jokes about a dead guy who was on "Jackass" Ebert tweeted "Friends don't let jackasses drive drunk" shortly after the death of Ryan Dunn...Roger, maybe wait for the toxicology report to come out...Besides, it just wasn't cool...I know you have trouble speaking, you drooling mess, so you love pounding your keys, but fuck dude! Hold back for at least a day...Ebert is a egotistical gas-bag, and besides being wrong tweeting that shit hours after Dunn's death, most of his stupid movie reviews are wrong too...Why the fuck did the doctors save you!?!

Next, Tracy Morgan...Tracy, please stop apologizing to everyone, for doing your job...For those who don't know, a gay man was offended while sitting in a comedy club, watching Tracy Morgan, because Morgan did a bit saying, 'If his son was gay he would stab him'...Now I wasn't there, so I didn't hear the full context but, It's a comedy show...It's Tracy Morgan, who is all about shock comedy...He's always done "Edgy" stuff...He's always crossed lines...That's why people go to see him...I saw his last special on HBO and I thought it sucked...But I knew what kind of stuff he was going to do...It's Tracy Morgan...

So for over a week the Gay rights groups have been up his ass, and have him constantly apologizing for hurting people with his words...FUCK THAT! He was doing his job...It's not his fault you have thin skin...Why is Lisa Lampanelli allowed to say whatever she wants about Gays, Blacks, Hispanics, Asian, and Jews, but Tracy Morgan can't joke about stabbing a gay son...And just so you know, I'd be fine if the Little Beeze turned out to be gay, but guess what? Me and every father on this Earth, all hope that our sons are straight...That's just the way it is...And that's probably why some people laughed at the bit...

Next, all of you Jesus freaks who were upset that NBC excluded "under God" from their Pledge of Allegiance montage...First so you know, it was written by a socialist, minister, named Francis Bellamy in 1892...It read,

"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

In 1923 this slight change was made...

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

It wasn't until 1954 when "under God" was added during our fear of the Communists...But most fucking dummies don't know that! Bellamy's daughter objected to this change, and we all should...The Pilgrims came here to be free of Religious persecution...The founders of this country made it clear that there should be Freedom of/from Religion, and there should be separation of Church and State...I'm all in with them on this...

I don't want the State telling the Church what to do, and I don't want the Church telling the State what to do...And the way they both have been acting, I don't want either telling me what to do...If you believe in God, that's great, but just because you believe, doesn't mean the entire Nation does...Back the fuck up!

Monday Moaning

Monday is her again, I hope everyone got plenty of moaning done during the weekend...This week I actually have a bit of sports to talk about, but look out, this topic tends to get political...

I'll start by saying this...Before you call Sean Avery a fag...

Yeah, she's the one he called his sloppy seconds...He also popped one of the Olsen twins, besides a bunch of other celebritard skanks...

Why am I bringing this up...Because Avery, known for being one of the NHL's most hated players, recently publicly support the "Equal Marriage Rights" campaign in New York state...Of course he was blasted by a bunch of haters on Twitter...Including agent Todd Reynolds, who went off, including saying, "Legal or not it will always be wrong."

Who knew that we would still be fighting over equal rights in 2011...To me that's what this is all about...Civil rights...This country fought over blacks having the right to be counted as people, not just three fifths of a man, as the constitution read...We fought for blacks to have the right to vote...We fought for women to have the right to vote...Yet we can't get past people being gay...Are you fucking kidding me!?!

This is a issue that conservatives love to throw out there...Saying how bad it is...It's wrong, and a sin...They want people to focus on stupid shit like this instead of the important shit...But the problem with these ass-hats is, there is this thing called separation of Church and State...I'm a big believer in this...Yet they always want to try and force their religious beliefs into the political arena...Listen, right and wrong isn't owned by God...I didn't need my 12 years of Catholic schooling to tell me it's wrong to kill some one, or that it's not cool to bang my buddy's wife...

The thing is, most of these dolts don't even know the whole book they put so much faith in...




So please take you religion out of the politics...

As for Avery, anyone who knows about him, shouldn't be surprised by him supporting gay rights...The guy spends half his time in the Hockey world, and the other half in the Fashion world...Of course he has gay friends, just like I do...I've been in the restaurant business since I was 13, I know plenty of gay people and guess what...It's not something they choose...They are born that way...Yes, there are some gals who may get drunk and give it whirl for an evening, but that's not choosing to be gay, that's choosing to be hot and give us guys something for the spank bank!

What is surprising, is the amount of support Avery has gotten...People who can't stand this guy, have done their own tweeting, and blogging, and had his back...Holy shit, there may still be hope for us in this world...Is this a sign that there could be some level of tolerance if a gay player came out in professional sports?

I'm not sure about that....And I doubt Sean Avery will see much of this support as next season begins...I'm sure he'll be getting blasted with non-stop 'fag' comments...

In some sad news, Rangers thumper Derek Boogard (28) was found dead this weekend...The reason is still unknown and we may not know for a couple weeks...Boogard was signed by the Rangers as a free agent this past season...I wasn't happy about the contract, because it was too much money for a guy who only fought well...But he won Rangers fans over quickly, choosing to wear #94 in honor of the Rangers 1994 Stanley Cup Champion team...He also dove right into a number of Rangers' charity events...

Boogard only played in 22 games this year and missed most of the season dealing with serious post concussion problems...His family will be donating his brain to Boston University's School of Medicine, which has been leading in the research of concussions sustained by athletes...

Where Are We? We Are Here...

I was going to get into this in my Hump Day post, but I want that to have a lighter tone possibly...So here goes...

With all that is going on in Japan, I started thinking about the world, and God, and us...Us pompous human beings...I never believed in the 2012 hype, but with multiple volcanoes in recent months...Earthquakes in New Zealand, and this monster in Japan, followed by the Tsunami, and now possible Nuclear devastation...Maybe this shit is real...

Why wouldn't it be...The Earth is an ever-changing thing...I believe there is "Climate Change" going on...But I also believe it's always been going on, and there isn't a thing us humans can do about it...We think we are so special, but we're so small...Compared to the Earth, we are small...

The Earth has always been evolving, and it will continue to...And when it wants to, it's going to shake us off, like a sticky booger...We can't stop it, we can't change it...We think we are so important...I said how small we are compared to the Earth...And the Earth is so small in the universe...And we need to realize it, and realize we have no control over any of it...

So what do we do? Many people have their faith...Faith is hard for me...I went to Catholic school for 12 years...I've read the Bible...I don't believe it to be true...I believe the truth is intended by the author...The message is the important part...But even sometimes the message is garbage...

Last night I was looking at Genesis...The whole Adam and Eve story really bothers me...Why would God give them a Tree of Life, and a Tree of Knowledge...Oh, and he gave man Freewill...But they aren't allowed to eat from the Tree of Knowledge...Why is knowledge so bad? Then of course Eve is tempting Adam...Pushing him to eat the Apple from the Tree of Knowledge...Right of the bat the Bible is putting women in a bad light...

My theory: That knowledge they speak of, is carnal knowledge...That apple they speak of, was Eve's apple bottom...That's right, Adam got some ass, and then we were all sinners, and we all blame the broad...Seems fucking ridiculous to me!

What am I going to do? I'm going to keep riding this ride, and remember that we are just a small part, of a "Pale Blue Dot"

I'm actually not sure what I'm going to write about...I blasted off THIS rant about people disrespecting Boise State, and now I'm wondering what's next?

A couple friends like B-Dub and fan82 about some bible thumpers in Florida who want to commemorate 9/11 by burning copies of the Qur'an...Ummm, I would guess that these fuck-tards in Florida are probably intensely religious people, who would shit a brick if some one accidentally burned a Bible, let alone organized a Bible burning event...Maybe some Jews should organize a Bible burning at the site of Auschwitz, since the Catholic Church turned a blind on to that for awhile...How would that feel fuck-stains!?!

I've ranted about the "Ground Zero" Mosque before, I'm sure you know how I feel by now...Comedian Nick DiPaolo has a nice idea...



I heard about Derrelle Revis Sunday night, and threw it in Monday's post...Now the numbers are coming out...Looks like Revis' agents screwed up...They were asking for 10 years and $120 million or more...What did he get? 4 years for $46 million...He had 3 years for $21 million left on his original deal...So he ended getting a one year extension with a slight raise...They tried to play the 'I want to be a life long Jet, and retire here' card...In the end that was crap...The just wanted the guaranteed money...Which looks to be $32 million...There are already rumors of the Jets redoing the deal next year, since Revis will be due $25 million in 2011...So the drama will continue...

If some claim to be religious, I suggest you pick up the old "Good Book" and actually read it this time...

If some people just don't like President Obama's politics, that's fine...But just remember...If some one talked about wanting the guy you liked dead, you'd probably be going bat-shit crazy, wanting the Secret Service to investigate them...

I'm sure some people on there are just, stupid, angry f**kers who love to hate...Hey, something has to be on the bottom of the food chain!

St. Patrick's Day History Lesson

I'll start simply by saying Happy St. Patrick's Day...Get your green on...Find some place that is doing' kegs and eggs...And don't forget the corned beef and Guinness for lunch!

So what's the deal with this St. Patrick cat anyway...Well let's have a little history lesson...

St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, and is one of the most well known figures in Christianity....His life remains a mystery....Most of the stories traditionally associated with St. Patrick including the famous account of him banishing all the snakes from Ireland...Even though there were no snakes...Are false, but have become well known because blarney....Or years, and years of exaggerated storytelling....No Irishman would ever do such a thing!

St. Patrick was born in Britain to wealthy parents near the end of the fourth century....It is believed to have died on March 17, around 460 A.D.....His father was a Christian deacon...It has been suggested that he probably took on the role because of tax incentives....There is no evidence that Patrick came from a religious family....At sixteen Patrick was taken prisoner by a group of Irish raiders while they were attacking his family's estate....They took him to Ireland where he was held captive for six years....There has been a dispute whether he was kept in County Antrim, or County Mayo...

He worked as a shepherd...afraid, and lonely he turned to his faith....And began dreaming about converting the Irish people to Christianity....

After six years as a prisoner, Patrick escaped....According to his writings...A voice, which he believed to be God's, spoke to him in a dream...Telling him it was time to leave Ireland....The stories say he walked 200 miles from County Mayo, to the Irish coast....Once back in Britain, Patrick reports that he experienced a second revelation....An angel tells him to return to Ireland as a missionary...He begins his religious training...After being ordained he is sent back to Ireland to minister to the Christians living there, and to convert the Irish...This is funny because it has often been said that St. Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland...

Most Irish practiced a nature based pagan religion....Having known their culture and language...Patrick chose to incorporate traditional rituals into his lessons of Christianity, instead of attempting to eradicate native Irish beliefs...The Irish were used to honoring their gods with fire...So Patrick used bonfires to celebrate Easter...The sun was a powerful Irish symbol...So he superimposed the sun onto the Christian cross...Creating what is now known as the Celtic Cross..

The Irish culture has always had a rich tradition of oral legend and myth....It is no surprise that the tales of St. Patrick, and his life have been exaggerated...

For me...Someone who has long questioned his faith...When I celebrate St. Patrick's...It's not so much about him...It's about family, and our heritage...And about those who struggled...Those who fought...And those who died...Many of them simply because they were Irish...
