The Beeze's Hump Day Hits/ Skull F**ks

Well it's time for another volume of the Hump Day Hits...This post is normally about sports, for the most part...The last couple weeks I haven't paid much attention to sports, but I spent a good deal of time yesterday getting back in the swing of things...So here goes...

First, Brett Favre is at it again...Rumors started flying yesterday that he was retiring, again...FOX Sports jumped on it...ESPN of course confirmed it...They never give credit to who ever beat them to the punch...Then they went Brett Favre crazy all day...Eventually they pulled back a little, when no one actually heard anything from Favre...I thought the media was playing this stupid card again...But Favre's silence up to this point has me now thinking this is him playing his yearly game of 'Look at me!' He has neither confirmed or denied his retirement...Year after year he has held his team and their plans hostage, and they let him keep doing it...Well Vikings now you get what you deserve...I can't believe there are still people out there who love this guy...He's is without a doubt a first ballot, Skull F*ck Hall of Famer...

While I was away, the Cleveland Indians traded away some players...They traded 3rd Baseman Jhonny Peralta to Detroit for a prospect...They traded Kerry Wood, his huge salary, and his huge ERA to the Yankees...The contract they gave him was so bad they actually gave the Yankees a couple million just to get him out of town...In return they got the infamous "Player to be named later"...They also traded Austin Kearns to the Yankees for "the player o be named later"...Both Kearns and and Wood are not guys that will put the Yankees over the top...They didn't really need them...They also added Lance Berkman at the deadline...I swear to God, I think the Yankees sometimes make moves, just to make moves...Just to say, 'look at us, we get who ever, when ever, just cause.'

The Indians also traded pitcher Jake Westbrook to the Cardinals...I always liked him, he's a good pitcher..So I'm happy to see him with a contender...But sadly, again the Indians had to give up money to unload his contract, and got very little in return...GM Mark Shapiro is a joke...The rest of the league must love to see him coming...You know, with the way things have been going around here, some one has to pay...Shapiro, your taking a load...Here's a good old fashioned Skull F*ck just for you...

In the Hockey world, the Boston Bruins are looking to unload some salary...They've been trying to move Goalie Tim Thomas and his $5 Million dollar cap hit, but there are no takers so far...That has them looking into moving Center Marc Savard, but they want a quality return for Savard...Either some one to jump right into the lineup or high draft picks...If I was in their shoes, I'd hang onto Savard, even if they can't move Thomas...

And now for the always Important Hump Day Question...On this fine Hump Day which of these naughty school girls would you most like to hump?

Monday Moaning (Fathers Day Edition)

So Sunday was Father's Day...A classic "holiday" they say is for us, but really, it's all about them...When I say them, I'm talking about the kids...It's odd how different Mother's Day is from Father's Day...Yet so much the same...You see here at the Beeze house, on Mother's Day we let my wife sleep in...Sleeping in means sleeping past 8:00AM...9 if you're really lucky...Then we make her a nice breakfast...Then I give her the card and presents I got for her...The kids give their very specially made gifts...Then It is my job to keep them out of her hair all day...I take them out and spend some real good quality Dad time with them, letting my do whatever she wishes...

Now here's how Father's Day went...I got to sleep in...Past 10:00AM...Nice start...The wife made me breakfast...There's a reason why she never cooks besides the fact that I'm a trained professional...She stinks at it...She can burn water...The food was bad...Luckily she said it first and threw hers away...But at least she didn't f**k up the coffee! Then I got a card from the kids...It was an old Valentines Day card I gave my wife...They scratched out what I wrote, and threw their names on it...Then my wife said, "Order yourself cap from LIDS, 'cause I didn't get you anything." But the promise of sex later in the evening was offered up...Then I spent some quality Dad time with the kids...We went to see "Toy Story 3"...It was okay, but then the water works started...They really pulled the heart strings in this one, and both my kids were crying...These two are a couple of emotional nightmares!

After that we went to a Greek Festival I mentioned in
THIS_BLOG last week...The kids jumped around in one of those giant inflatable castles...I bought my daughter a bracelet she liked...And when I got in line for some delicious lamb shank, these two start complaining about being tired, and hot, and wanting to go home...I couldn't take the sound of their voices, and gave up on the grub...When we got home they fought over who was going to watch what on TV and about which of their favorite dishes I was gonna make for dinner...I can't believe I'm adding another one of these to my life...

This is how Father's Day should be...Just like the good ole days.....

Just drop and gobble ladies!

Now normally I find a way to mix some sports in to this post, but I'll be honest, I haven't paid any attention to sports this past week...Yeah, the Lakers beat the Celtics for the NBA Championship, but that's old news...Some guys were playing golf this weekend...Haven't a clue what happened...World Cup...Again, haven't a clue...I heard on the radio, that the Pirates drew almost a 100,000 fans to their weekend series with the Indians...I have to laugh...It took the Indians going to Pittsburgh to get some fans in that beautiful park...From what I heard there was a good number of Tribe fans there...Can't get them go to downtown Cleveland, but they'll go to Pittsburgh! I've been watching the Red Sox and Dodgers...Not that we have much of a choice...Can we hype Manny going back to Boston anymore? Let's get back to that lack of choice topic there...

I've brought this up before, but hell, it needs to be talked about more...Every week on the MLB Network, ESPN, and FOX, there a very select few teams that get games shown...1. The Yankees 2. The Red Sox 3. The Mets 4. The Phillies 5. The Cubs 6. The Cardinals...Sometimes the Twins, Angels and Dodgers get mixed in...If the Red Sox are playing the Yankees, the whole series gets on the air...If the Cubs and Cardinals are playing, they get a couple on...Then it comes down to who are the Yankees, Red Sox, and Mets playing...This week, the Yankees are on ESPN Monday night...The Mets are slated in on both ESPN and MLB...The Red Sox also are slated for a couple on MLB...I understand they are major markets, and that they have huge fan bases...But how the hell is baseball going to get more viewers, more people excited, and interested, if they never see their team...Now in the last couple weeks we've seen The Nationals, and whoever they were playing, only because of Strasburg...I have to say, it's nice to see some of the smaller markets on TV...These are major leaguers...There are good players on every team...

Baseball die hard fans everywhere...But I think there are fewer and fewer of those people around every year...If baseball wants to keep selling their product, with it's overpriced tickets, and apparel, they need to stop selling just a handful of teams...Sell us the whole damn league...

Now let's get to this weeks, tweets of the week...

First from a blogging friend...

nutballgazette “I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it”

I feel the same way!

Now my best tweet of the week...This was brought on by a friend asking about my weight loss challenge...

TheBeeze34 "Weight loss not going so well. Pregnancy has killed the mood for the wife, so here I sit at the PC with a bag of Oreos watching porn!"

Guess who didn't get any for Father's Day?

And if you're on twitter, and looking for some good laughs, I get a kick out of this gal...
SARKASTICKUNT

Now a Father's Day message from Louis CK...

Watch CBS News Videos Online

And now, I'll close this thing out with Bill Burr...After the Father's Day I've had, I agree with Bill...

That's it for now, have a great week...

Tuesday Night Frustration

So Monday's post included some of my frustration about my son's Tee-Ball league, which I'm also a coach in...Well the frustration just grew a little more...Tonight was a scheduled practice...The rec department schedules a couple practices at the start of the season...2 teams practice together, there are stations setup to work on fielding, hitting, and running the bases...It a good beginner thing for the kids, and the coaches...But...

1st problem...A couple parents sent there kids without their caps and shirts...Not a huge deal, but the color coded caps help the kids (5 year olds) know who is on their team...Helps me too! After practice, I asked the one mother who has two kids on my team, if she had picked up their caps and shirts from the rec center...If not I could get them for her now...This twat comes back at me with the bitchiest tone, and said, "It's just practice, I didn't know they needed them today!" Now maybe I just think logically and others don't, but bitch, you have a copy of the schedule, and it shows two teams on the same field at the same time...To me it just makes sense to throw the cap and shirt on the kids...But I played nice, and said, "It's no problem, I just wanted to make sure the kids got their stuff." Her twaty tone perked up again with a, "Well, they did!" Her poor f**king husband must think about eating a gun every night...He's probably seen the R. Budd Dwyer
VIDEO and thought, 'he probably didn't feel a thing.'

2nd problem...The woman who runs the baseball programs for the rec is very nice, and works well with kids, and probably gets paid squat, but this everyone one wins crap is just awful...Today my team, The Sea Wolves were out there with The Flying Squirrels...(All the team names are minor league names)...After the practice was done, she had all the two teams line up, and they had a relay race...As I said Monday, I'm not the ultra competitive dad, but if you win, you win, if you lose, you lose...Not here folks...The Sea Wolves beat the Flying Squirrels by about 6 steps in the relay...Afterwards she says, "Guess who won?" The kids, on both teams yelled "THE SEA WOLVES!" This chick says, "EVERYONE!" Oh for the love of God lady, take a cue from the kids...They know who won, and the kids that lost didn't care, they were just as excited at my team...REDONKULUS!

So after we got home, i gave the little Beeze a bath, then sat down and watched some of the Indians vs the Mets...The Tribe was 4-1...Then the infield started playing worse then my Tee-Ballers...Hey Masterson, little Lilly on my team can make that trow to first! Valbuena, the little beeze knows to cover first on that bunt...WHY DON'T YOU? Then the wheels came off and the score was 6-4...The Mets won 7-6...

So I figured maybe I'll watch the President's speech about his plan for dealing with the oil spill...That should calm me down...This could have been one of those moments that Presidents have...He could have shown us the leader we want to see in our Commander in Chief...Instead, he played it safe...I'm appointing this guy to this...I'm appointing this guy to that...I'm starting a Blue Ribbon Commission about this...What's with all the Czars? What the hell is this Blue Ribbon Commission...Are we judging the best cow, or biggest pumpkin contest...NO! We're making the world's largest batch of Vinaigrette! Grow some stones! He said BP will compensate people for their loses...Are they? Prove it! Sorry, I just don't believe BP...

There are numerous people that have gone down and volunteered to help with the cleanup, that are getting seriously ill, because BP officials are telling them not to wear masks, respirators, and safety suits, 'cause it looks bad...All this speech has done, is help prove that ever President in my lifetime has been in bed with Big Oil...Why not? They clearly know what they're doing!

Okay, off of that soapbox...

Now, before I go, let's play a little, Today in Baseball History...

Today in 1938 John Vandermeer of the Cincinnati Reds pitched his second of two consecutive no-hitters, beating the Brooklyn Dodgers 6-0...The first was a 3-0 win over the Boston Braves...

This no-hitter against the Dodgers was done during what was the first night game ever at Ebbets Field...

That's it for now...

A Little Hump Day Ranting...And Humping

This week I'm averaging about 3 hours of sleep a night...I've got a bunch of crap bouncing around in my head, and I think if I get it out I may be able to sleep a little better...We'll see...

First, The World Series...1) I hate the Yankees...2) I hate the City of not so brotherly love...3) I really hate seeing two former Cleveland Indians Cy Young Award winners going against each other in "The Fall Classic"...I'm rooting for no one...I'm hoping that some how the Gods will intervene and neither team will win...

And back to this whole"Fall Classic" crap...The way Major League Baseball is going, in a few years will be watching this on Thanksgiving...These two teams had approximately 20 games off during the regular season...During the playoffs, they've already had something like 14...Knock it off with all the days off, and play ball before the snow starts falling....

Another Baseball note...The Indians hired Manny Acta...Awesome, a guy with a record of 158-252...Great, another loser...Don't give me any crap about how the Nationals were a sh!t team...So are the Indians...But what happened with the Nationals after they fired Acta...They played a lot better for the new guy...F**king Indians suck!

One more Baseball note...F**k Mark McGwire...Already sick of hearing about this douche...Go shoot up dummy and teach the Cardinals hitters how to use a syringe...

Moving on...I don't like to get political...But sometimes I get pissed off enough, where I need to say something...I don't care where you stand on Health Care reform...Everyone has their own opinion and that's the beauty of this country...That and being able to voice your opinion...This isn't so much about health care, and public option, no public option...It's about elected officials not listening to the people they represent...

Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, has said he will fight the public option to the death...He will Filibuster to prevent a vote if he has to...The same Joe Lieberman, who just a couple years ago signed a pact to not filibuster...No matter what the issue, it should make it to the floor...Whatever Joe...You're a politician and we should except you're full of crap...My big problem is this...67% of the people he represents in the state of Connecticut, want a public option...Ahhh democracy...Of the people, by the people, for the people, has become....Rich people, voted in by the people, ignoring the people, f**king the people...

Okay, enough with that ranting...Who wants to see two girls kissing?

Here's the highlight of the day...It wasn't carving the pumpkins with the kids...It wasn't the awesome butternut squash bisque I made...It was this...

Mrs. Beeze has been working crazy hours this week...Tonight after the kids were asleep, we had some catching up to do...So we're upstairs, just pounding it...It was one of those quality humps, that has good mix of everything in it...It was loud...I often mock my wife for her poor dirty talk skills...Her big line was, "I want you to cum hard." Well I did! Very loudly too...Afterwards we're rolling out of bed, and getting ready to figure out what to watch on the tube, when suddenly...Our daughter walks in crying ...She was scared by the loud, strange noises, that woke her up....

My wife always thinking said, "Daddy was just yelling because of the hockey game." I chimed in with, "The stupid Rangers lost!" Of course she asks, "Why was the bed making so much noise?" I then had to comeback with, "I was just excited about the game."

One day, she'll remember this and think, 'What a couple of lying dolts my parents were.'

That's all for now...OLP in Columbus tomorrow night...Can't wait!

Thursday Night Thoughts

Well the BEEZE has started a new Blog. It won't be much different from my Sporting News Blog, but I may touch on a few other topics. Feel free to checkout my SN blog, and take a swing at the Hump Day Survey, just click the http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/the%20BEEZE.

So let's get on with Tonights thoughts. The other night I was watching a show on CMT. Now let me first state I'm not a country music fan....Some of it I don't mind, but I'm not a real fan. Anyway i put on this show "Crossroads". Def Leppard was on and any time I can relive my youth I will. They were performing with this young singer named Taylor Swift . Now the whole idea of the show is to put a country star and a pop, or rock group with each other, and they do one another's songs.

So I'm watching this and saying to myself, WOW!!!, this girl is good. Why is Joe Elliot even singing. Honestly, the boys in the band were good, but she was singing their songs a lot better than Joe. Here's a couple of examples........

This next one Joe is struggling.....

Now that I got that off my chest, here's a Notre Dame Fighting Irish Hockey update.

The Irish are home this weekend for two games against Lake Superior State. Notre Dame comes into this weekend with a 6-3 record after beating Boston College last Friday, and Providence on Saturday.

Senior left wing Garrett Regan was named CCHA player of the week after after his three goal effort out east last weekend.

On the other hand the NotreDame football team is sputtering after their second straight lose. Their trip to Boston College wasn't as fun as the Eagles defense shut the Irish down all night. Jimmy Clausen played his worst game since last season. I hope Charlie can right the ship against Navy this week. I don't want to see thia again......

Congrats go to Cliff Lee on winning the AL Cy Young. It was great to see Cliff come back from a terrible season, so bad he was sent to the minors. Then going into spring traing he was projected as the seventh started in camp. Way to prove them wrong Cliff.....I hope they don't trade you off too.

Finally, The passing of Herb Score brings back great memories. I didn't get to see him play, but from what I know he had a bright future until he was hit in the eye with a line drive. He was nevr the same after that.

My memories are of Herb as the Indians radio Play-by play voice. He wasn't the best, but he was ours and we loved him.

I'll never forget sitting on my front porch with my Dad, listening to Her calling Len Barker's perfect game. As it got further into the game neighbors, and even a couple guys walking down the street stopped and listened along with us. I remember afterwards asking our one neighbor "why were't you watching it on TV? "(ours was broken) He said, "I would rather hear Herb call history, than watch it."

Thanks Herb, Rest in Peace.

Take EAZY, the BEEZE.
