During the night he woke up with a slight fever...I gave him Motrin...he started feeling better around 2:00 AM...Then he was wide awake...So there I am watching Nick Jr. with him at two in the morning...He crashed sometime after 3:00AM...
Saturday we got ready for the big bowling birthday party...We got to the bowling alley and got everything set...Then waited for people to show...6 girls and 1 boy later, it was time for bumper bowling...That's right, there was only one other little boy there...My boy was in his glory with all the little girls...5-8 year olds, Bowling, eating pizza, hot dogs, and grilled cheese, cake, presents...Oh the noise...Thank God there's a bar in this place!
So after that, I'm looking to chill out and watch a little Fighting Irish football...The Irish aren't real big on letting me relax...But they pulled out another victory...A 37-30 overtime win over the Washington Huskies...http://irishbuzz.blogspot.com/2009/10/irish-beat-washington-37-30-in-overtime.html
Then came Sunday...I had a lot on my mind...For those who don't hangout at the Gab http://www.yougabsports.com/ ...I have decided to give up on the Cleveland Browns...1) they suck, and have since they returned in 1999...2) This isn't my Browns...My team left...3) I hate the coach...just another in a long line of douche bag coaches this organization has hired...4) I've spent my life rooting for losers in this town...I became a free agent fan...I wagered my fandom on one game...The original Browns...The Baltimore Ravens vs. the New England Patriots...
Well, it's official...I'm now a New England Patriots fan...
By the way...The Cleveland Clowns lost to the Bengals in overtime...I gotta say, I was really pissed the game wasn't blacked out...Nothing can ruin a Sunday afternoon like watching the Browns...
Sunday morning, I decided to take my mind off this crazy football nonsense...Mrs. Beeze went into work for a few hours...I had been promising to take the kids to Build-A-Bear...If you've never done this, here's a few pointers...1) You better have plenty of money...Or be able to say no to your kids...2) Bring your patience...But if your a push-over like me, you'll be okay with it, when you see how happy the kids are...The girl got a Jonas Brothers Puppy with sparkly pants and a T-shirt...Yes, they have clothes to dress your animal up in....The boy got a monkey with khakis a button down shirt and a sweater vest...The finally tally at Build-A-Bear was about $80...It's gonna be some time before we go back...
I picked up a new Red Sox hoodie for the playoffs...I scouted for Ravens gear...Luckily they lost...'Cause finding Ravens sh!t in Cleveland just ain't happening...I also picked up a new purse for the wife...Just trying to get some!
They keep saying the economy sucks...Well I did my part, and there were tons of people at this mall...And yes, it was a real mall...You know, where you go inside a big ass building that's full of stores, and has a food court...
I don't know what it's like everywhere else, but here they keep building these malls that are a bunch of stores that aren't connected...Maybe that's why more people shop online during the holidays...They don't want to keep walking into a store...Unbuttoning there coats, taking off hats, all that crap...Then have to bundle up and go back outside, and walk to another shop...It's f**king stupid...It gets cold here...It snows...What the f**k are you dummies thinking?
Anyway, I'm done b!tching about that...It was a crazy weekend, but fun...Hope yours was good...Have a great week...
Later, The Beeze.

Happy birthday to Little Beeze ... and I'm happy he got the first few paragraphs. Great line to his mom ... LOL.
If you didn't show him last week, show the Little Guy my post from last Monday with the guy playing his hands. LOL.
Browns shutdown the Bengals in 2nd and 3rd quarters. Watching these 2 teams is like watching the electric football games ... a lot of noise and players going nowhere.
The Battle of Ohio has been a sad state of affairs for way to long. Damn the 80s were great.
Congrats to your Irish .... Hey ... see my rankings (posted yesterday).
Glad the little Beeze had a great B-day - it's nice that he's starting his boobie obsession early lol.
I've never been to Build-a-Bear, and based on what you're saying - I don't want to go.
We went to the mall yesterday too, and I'm with you on these outdoor malls - the whole idea is just stupid, and I live in Charleston where the weather is nice most of the time - I can only imagine what it's like when the weather is shitty.
Great work Beeze, and congrats to the Patriots.
Congrats to the little one on making it to 5 and honing his mack skills early, 6 to 2 ratio is genius for a five year old.
I feel your pain with the Browns as the damn Cowboys keep trying to turn Tony Romo into something he isn't, a franchise quarterback.
Congrats to the Irish in beating Washington, I had fun watching Miami hold on against OU too.
Have a good week man
People love to hate the Browns. Over all it's their job in the NFL to be the butt of the joke. The only thing that's important to Cleveland fans is that they can get to the muni lot at 4 am and get loaded before the game.
Cleveland, all around, is notorious for bad decision making, we were just lucky when LaBron was dropped at our feet - now I get to sit and watch all these "basketball" fans in Cleveland who didn't even pay attention to basketball since Mark Price was on the fricken team.
In general I hate basketball - I don't give a sh!t if we're "finally" in the playoffs the problem with Cleveland goes further than that on all streets and alleys - its just easy to point the blame at the Browns.
Excuses and people running away. Do you think it makes the guys play better when they see a sea of black and gold or red and blue or black and purple in the stands? And KNOW that those people live in their city?
They're set up to fail because people only believe in the Browns for a hot second, same with all our other teams.
(Unless its soccer or hockey then we just don't pay attention at all.)
This city spends all it's time and energy on two sports teams that they never give a chance. They're set up to fail and we all blame the players when it's the owners that are the problem because they want money so they'll try to find a quick fix - like using a band-aid on a dam.
Normally I don’t get into it about sports because over all I’m about as fluent in sports as I am in French, I’m just not. But it bothers me to no end to see these a$$ hats walking around the malls wearing other teams colors and then hearing them say, “Well I used to be a Browns fan.”
No you weren’t you a points fan.
Yes it’s a hard relationship but over all if I’m gonna watch a football game, chances are it’ll be the Browns. Yes, they’ll probably break my heart, but I grew up in this town. I stood on the 50 yard line at the old Municipal Stadium. I met Bernie Kosar. Hell, I had my first beer at a Browns game. Sure, Mangini is a freak of nature and I don’t agree with anything he’s been doing. Most days I don’t think he knows the difference from his elbow and a goal post, but still they’re the Browns.
They’re my Browns. Good or bad.
…ahh… LOL… evidently you hit a nerve! HA!... sorry Beeze you know I still love you and your blog!
ANNND I'm done... :)
-A, I love you too...I'm good at hitting nerves...I feel this way about it...My Browns were taken from me...This orginization now, may have the colors and the "history" but My team left...Along with it went a front office that didn't have it's head up it's ass...
The present day Browns have been poorly run since day one in '99...From the owner down...I don't blame the players...They can't help if they suck...Dummies like Phil Savage who drafted them should be shot! And stupid coaches who ate more then they coached...Yeah, I'm talking about big fat Romeo, should be beaten on Public Square...
Orginizations, and athletes rarely show the same loyalty that their fans do...So I'm done being loyal...I've done it for 34 years...I cried when the Indians lost '97...I was crushed by "The Fumble" I will never stop hating Elway, and Marty's prevent defense after "The Drive." I invested too much emotionally over the years...I'm done.
Rad, the OU, Miami game was a good one...Romo is looking awful...Thanks for stopping by!
B-Dub, Outdoor malls blow! Build-a-Bear is evil...But they had fun...BUT IT"S EVIL!
Thanks man!
Frank, thanks! Little Beeze liked the video last week...Bengals trie dto give that one to the Browns...But they just don't know how to take a win!
The 80's were good...I'll be by later!
You ARE good at hitting nerves, that's why I love your blog! And I totally understand where you're coming from...
You should check out this book, it's called False Start by Terry Pluto. It's about how the 1999 Browns were built to fail. I didn't read it, but it made me smile when I saw it at B&N last week.

Oh, and going along with your comment about Little Beeze. I bought a magazine with Megan Fox on it the other day. My boys at the age where he shreds magazines, books, etc... not that one.
He started petting her face and then began licking her photo... not once, but three different times...
lol...
Was it Cosmo...There were some good tips in there!
Beeze, if it means anything to you, I rooted for a loser New England team for a long, long time...
Thanks Mo...I know you folks in New England suffered for a long time...Now you're livin' it up!
No, no... I'm SUPER classy... it was nylon... HA!
The wife wasn't happy when I came home with a Cosmo with Megan Fox on the cover...She said "What the hell is that about?"
I said, I got it for the "Dirty Dozen Sex Tricks" aricle...She called me an ass!
