Monday Moaning

Well here we are again...Time seems to be flying by...Let's get right to it...

The Los Angeles Lakers just beat the Orlando Magic for the NBA title...Woo Hooo...I could give a f**k! Whatever...I just don't care about basketball...

Friday night The Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 to take home the Stanley Cup...Just what I need...More calls and texts from Johnny F**king Pittsburgh, telling me how great his town is...How much mine blows...I know...I live here...I get it...You f**cking rule...God I hope Roethlisberger snaps his f**king leg during pre-season...Maybe I should buy him a new motorcycle!

Back to the Hockey...As some one who likes to see certain people suffer...Or just feel like $h!t...I loved seeing Marian Hossa down on one knee watching his former teammates celebrate...That's right...Hossa left Pittsburgh after last season because he felt he had a better chance of winning The Cup in Detroit...Maybe that would have been true, if he would have scored some goals in the final....DOUCHE!

Moving on...I haven't dropped any Notre Dame News in some time...Waiting for football season to get going...It's just around the corner...

Anyway...Notre Dame senior, goaltender, Jordan Pearce and senior, captain, right wing, Erik Condra, have been named Academic All-Americans on the At-Large Team by ESPN The Magazine....Voting is done by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)....Pearce was named first team Academic All-American...Condra was a second team selection....For Pearce, this is his second time selected...He was a second team selection in 2008....The hockey duo gives Notre Dame 210 Academic All-Americans in the program's history....

Pearce is the second Notre Dame hockey player to be named Academic All-American twice in his career....Steve Noble, (1996-97, 1997-98) who is an old friend of mine was the other...Noble and Pearce are the only Irish hockey players to be named first team Academic All-Americans....

Now...What else is there...Saturday the Beeze spent 14 hours in the Fish House...Nothing like feeding people with alot more money then you, to make you feel good about your station in life...That and the smell...Grease and Fish...Mmmmmm...I've taken 3 showers...It's finally gone...

Most of Sunday was spent having a jam session with the kids....Little dude will turn anything into a drum set...This time many parts to the Dora Kitchen were used...

Sometimes it's rough when Dad's play room is also the kid's play room...The jam session started when they heard me working on something I started writing last week called Worms on the Mirror... http://thebeezewax.blogspot.com/2009/06/worms-on-mirror.html

So the song isn't done...But we had some fun...And gave Mrs. Beeze a headache...She got her revenge though, as she busted my lip open during some hard Sunday night sex...What a better way to start the week...Some Sunday Moaning followed by some Monday Moaning...

That's all for me now...But watch for the next edition of The Beeze's Skull F**ks...This week we will be selecting or first class to the Skull F**k Hall of Fame...

And if you want to see something that messed with my sick head...Check this out...http://theinternetisterrible.com/1565/something-about-this-video-is-off/...

Have a good week...

Later, the Beeze.

Monday Moaning

Well I hope everyone had a good Easter...It was a good one here at the Beeze household...After working a double Saturday night at the Fish House...I stopped a dive bar...Had a quick burger and a beer...Then I realized it would be an early wake up call with lots of sugar involved....So I headed home and started playing Easter Bunny...Which surprisingly...I'm not talking about anything Sexual...

I cracked open a Heineken...Turned on the NCAA Hockey National Championship game that I DVRed...And started hiding Easter Eggs...And stuffing jellybeans in my gob....About that hockey game...Miami (Ohio) took on Boston University...It was a great match up...Both teams are talented, and play a physical style of hockey...But looking at the talent...I thought BU would take it...At work I brought this up...One guy said..."Who the f*ck are you talking to?" Me being the only person they know who actually follows College Hockey...

During the evening the one manager and one of the servers were giving me updates...That wasn't gonna stop me from watching it though...Late in the game I was told Miami was 3-1 with 5 minutes to go...One of the guys in the kitchen...Who doesn't know a thing about hockey said..."It's over!"

A little while later, as we were breaking down the kitchen...The manager came back said..." I'm not gonna tell you what happens...Just watch the whole game." My first thought was...'Oh shit!'

With less then 2 minutes left BU scored and made it 3-2...Then with about 17 seconds left....BU tied it up...Overtime baby! Now it was late while I was watching this...And I had a few beers in me...But Somewhere around 12 minutes into the overtime The Terriers of Boston University scored the game winner on one of the flukiest goals I've seen...The puck was shot from the point...deflected...and flutter gently over the Miami Goaltender's (who was screened) shoulder...Poor kid didn't even see it...Congrats to both teams on great seasons...Congrats to BU's Matt Gilroy on winning the Hobey Baker Award (Hockey's Heisman)...And Congrats to the Terriers for winning it all!

It was a great game!

In other College Hockey news...And Notre Dame news...Fighting Irish goalie Jordan Pearce (yes The Hockey News that is how you spell his name...f*cking dolts)...Signed a two year NHL entry level contract with the Detroit Red Wings on Friday...Pearce made his professional debut Saturday for the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins...Pearce and the Griffins lost 5-2...He made 33 saves in the game...Two of the Peoria goals were scored by former Golden Domer Yan Stastny...Best of Luck to Jordan PEARCE...

Next let's move to the NHL...the playoff match-ups are set...

Here's what they look like....

In the Eastern Conference...#1 Boston Bruins vs. #8 Montreal Canadiens

#2 Washington Capitals vs. #7 New York Rangers

#3 New JerseyDevils vs. #6 Carolina Hurricanes

#4 Pittsburgh Penguins vs. #5 Philadelphia Flyers

In the Western Conference...San Jose Sharks vs. #8 Anaheim Ducks

#2 Detroit Red Wings vs. #7 Columbus Blue Jackets

#3 Vancouver Canucks vs. #6 St. Louis Blues

#4 Chicago Blackhawks vs. #5 Calgary Flames

As most people know...I'm a New York Rangers fan...Unfortunately I don't see them going all the way...They have been too inconsistent all year...And Goalie Henrik Lundqvist can only carry them so far...Somebody has to score goals for the guy...I think the Boston Bruins will take the East...They have been solid all year...They have great goaltending in Tim Thomas...And they have a great mix of skill players, and grinders...

In the West...I'm rooting for the Columbus Blue Jackets...Can rookie Goalie Steve Mason continue to do what he's done all season...I'm not sure...But I hope he can...His ability to take over a game has been amazing... I'll also be interested in seeing how Blue Jackets star Rick Nash does in his crack at the playoffs...

Unfortunately for the Jackets...They open with the Detroit Red Wings...That's a hell of a test for your first time in the playoffs...

My pick to win the West...The San Jose Sharks...In the past they have faltered in the playoffs...But I think all the pieces are there now...the most important piece they have...Evgeni Nabokov...

So you heard it here first...the Stanley Cup Final will be Boston vs San Jose...What a bitch that travel schedule will be!

Moving on...Did ya hear...Baseball Season started...The Cleveland Indians didn't get the message until Sunday...When their 5th starter was the first one to give the team 6 innings...Hell he was the first to give them 5...Oh...and he helped them gt their first win...Way to go Tribe...I was starting to worry you would go 0 for April...

So I took little Beeze to the a park today...That seems to be our thing...Checkout a new park and see how many "in the way people" we can find...http://thebeezewax.blogspot.com/2009/04/fck-your-dogyoure-ahole.html

...Mrs. Beeze and our daughter were going to the Hannah Montana movie...There was no way I was putting up with that shit...http://thebeezewax.blogspot.com/2009/04/spongebob-vs-hannah-montana.html

So we're at this park...It was a nice...Very nice Neighborhood...But then I saw them...This couple...Two Dolts for the price of one...Both of them with that totally lost look in their eyes...Like walking and talking at the same time was a real bitch for them...I don't want to attack there kid...It's not his fault...This is just a public service message...If you know your spouse is one of those "in the way people"...and you think you may suffer from the same problem...Don't have kids...They're just starting out with two strikes against them...Much like the Cleveland Indians!

In closing, I'd like to say...Happy Anniversary to my Beautiful, Smart, Sexy, Amazing, Wife...8 Years ago...On Good Friday...April 13th...We were married in a Chapel at Niagra Falls....It was the smartest thing I ever did...And I am truly a lucky man...I don't know what she saw in me...And I don't know how she puts up with me...But thank God she does...I love you Mrs. Beeze!

Have a great week...

Later, The Beeze.

Monday Moaning

What a weekend....I'm surprised I even remeber much, if not any of it...The Rock & Roll is done...My ears have stopped buzzing, and well...So have I.

Lets start with Friday night...Got to dive...Dives are great...Lot of people there...Lot that I knew...That always freaks me out...How do ya fix that...BEER! JAGER! Good to go! We did a good set...The originals went over well...My acoustic set went well...The covers went well...Afterwards somebody said..."Wow that was really good. I never heard of some of those song!" While I thanked them for the compliment, I was also annoyed...Of course you hadn't heard some of those songs...Would I be playing here if you had? NO! Also, you're over 40 so you may not be hip to the Deftones...But I was polite and simply said..."Thanks, now you're better of for having geard them." What a dick! (me not him)

After that...well you know...I was playing rock star, so I had to have some rock star sex with Mrs. Beeze...Hey, when you're rockin' a solid Jager dick...You can't waste that sh!t....The morning after I was getting some dirty looks...I believe the one phrase I heard was..."I can't believe you had me doing that in my mothers bed...When she was right in the next room."

The Punishment was harsh...She went into work for awhile to get some OT...I had to take the kids to the park...Two kids, other peoples kids, hangover....Bad combo! Then the grocery store....

After that was a family party...BIG CRAZY IRISH PARTY..."Beeze play a couple songs!" The thought in my head was...'F*ck you drunks!' But who am I to judge...I just had 4 beers, 7 green jello shots, 7 orange jello shots, and a shot of my old friend Jameson....So I did a couple Irish tunes, and I broke off Sunday Bloody Sunday also...
The wife was tired...I was tired and ripped...The kids needed to get to bed...So we got outta there and went home...The Mrs. and kids were asleep by 8:30...I took a snooze...and checked out some porn...And I hated on the new Facebook home page...

I got to take the kids to the park again today...But then I got to go see The Watchmen....I really liked it...It dragged at some points, and there was some unnessary sh!t in it, but I think they did a good job with it...Plus it had a great soundtrack, and Malin Ackerman is f*cking hot!

Christ I haven't said a word about sports yet...

Let's start with the New York Rangers...F*CK WADE REDDEN!!! This guy blows...The Rangers lost Saturday to the hated Flyers 4-2...douchebag Redden was a big reason why...Not to take anything away from Martin Biron's 39 save performance....I know I beat on Redden, but look...I'm not alone....

BTW...The Manic Ranger does good stuff...Check him out!

Sunday things turned out a little better...The Rangers beat the Flyers 4-1, Thanks in large part to Sean Avery's two power play goals...

I was all geared up tonight for the You Gab Sports D & T Fantasy Baseball draft...Then I realized I got a little more time to get my sh!t together...Good thing since I was talking some smack...

It's bracket time...This is the rare time of the year that I actually pat attention to Basketball...I'm pulling for the Cleveland State Viking!!!

Next up...Notre Dame Hockey...The Irish took on Nebraska-Omaha this weekend in the CCHA playoffs...Friday night The Fighting Irish beat the Mavericks 5-0...The Goal scorers were...Calle Ridderwall, Ben Ryan, Billy Maday, Ryan Thang, and Ryan Guentzel...Jordan Pearce made 30 saves in the shutout victory...

Saturday night Jordan Pearce did it again...Making another 30 saves in a 1-0 Notre Dame victory...Justin White was the lone goal scorer...The Irish now move on to Joe Louis Arena, March 20-21, for the CCHA Playoff Title...

In other Notre Dame hockey news...The All-CCHA team was announced this week...Ian Cole earned 1st team honors...Erik Condra, Christian Hanson, and Kyle Lawson were named to the second team...Calle Ridderwall, and Jordan Pearce were given honorable mention...That's just bulsh!t...Pearce should have at least gotten 2nd team, if not 1st team...

Pearce was named as one of twelve candidates for the CCHA Scholastic Athlete of the Year Award...He also is a finalist for the RBC Financial Group CCHA Player of the Year

Irish coach Jeff Jackson is a finalist for CCHA Coach of the Year...

Kyle Lawson is up for the CCHA top defensive defensman...

Erik Condra is a finalist for the CCHA top defensive forward...

and Billy Maday is up for the CCHA Rookie of the Year Award...

That's it for me now...Have a good week...

One last thing....Tuesday is St. Patrick's Day...Have fun...Drink green beer...Find a Red headed gal and give her a kiss...And be safe...

Later, The Beeze.

Monday Moaning

How's it going gang? Time for so more Monday Moaning...here's how the weekend started....It all began with a nice steady snow fall Friday afternoon, that carried on through Saturday night...Friday night I spent some quality time talking trash with my brother-in-law in Boston....The Cavs were playing the Celtics, and even though I don't really keep up on basketball, and I don't really care for LeBron, (that whole wearing a Yankees hat thing) I'll never pass on a chance to talk $h!t....

Next, Saturday started with some snow shoveling, so I could get to work...After work was more shoveling and playing with the kids in the snow...they love this crap...The evening was filled with watching Football, and Hockey...I can't believe the Cardinals beat the Panthers....And so convincingly...I knew the ex-Browns, I mean Ravens could handle their business against the Titans....they are looking hard....
Saturday night we found out our son is a bit of a freak like his old man...It was time to get ready for bed, and he wasn't listening to my wife....Now 99% of the time I'm the "bad cop", beacause he just laughs at her...Well she starts getting mad and tries to be the "bad cop"...."Tomas if you don't start listening I'm gonna spank you!"...Now for the record she doesn't spank...he knows this...So what does he do....He turns around, bends over, and says...."spank me, spank me, spank me hard." I couldn't stop laughing...My wife was in tears she was laughing so hard....Although ther could have been a little sadness there too...Now that she realized her son is a perv like his old man....

--
On the Hockey front, there's something that's been bothering for awhile now....each week I watch Hockey Night in Canada...I'm not Canadian, but from what I know, it was always a big deal for our neighbors to the north...But what's bugging me is that 99% of the time, the Prime-time game is a Maple Leafs game...There's other teams in Canada fellas, try spreading the love around...By the way, the Leafs aren't that good...Please stop cramming them down our throats....

My beloved New York Rangers lost Friday in a shoot out against Buffalo...Saturday they came back strong and blanked the Ottawa Senators....

Then Sunday came, and so did I....Oh sorry...More fun out in the snow with the monsters...My son hasn't figured out how to snowball fight yet...He seems to like getting hit...He makes a very good target...My daughter was getting revenge finally for all the crap he gives her...He took one in the face, that gave him a shiner and he was just laughing....The kid is insane...
--
After that it was time for more football....The Eagles got it done again, and I know I shouldn't but, I'm saying they're going to the "Super Bowl"...I'm so glad the Giants lost....I can't stand Eli Manning, or the whole Manning family for that matter....Then the Steelers knocked off the Chargers...They seemed to be firing on all cylinders today...Ravens vs Steelers next week....This is gonna be a good one folks.....

--

Next up, my favorite part...Notre Dame Hockey....This weekend the Fighting Irish took on the Nanooks from Alaska....
--

--
Friday the Irish won 2-0...The goal scorers were....Ryan Thang, and Senior, captain Erik Condra....Goalie Jordan Pearce made 16 saves to earn the shutout, and the victory.
--

--
Saturday night Pearce recorded his 4th shutout of the season, and 8th of his career on, as the Irish beat the Nanooks 3-0....The goal scores were...Christian Hanson, Ben Ryan, and Ryan Thang.

This weekends victories take the #1 ranked Irish to a 18-3-2 record....Next weekend Notre Dame travels to Lake Superior State for two games.
--

I hope everybody had a good weekend...I'll catch you later,
--
The Beeze.

One more thing...TCP, you may want to check this out for your little, and anyone else who has a Thomas the train fan in their house.....
