Monday Moaning

Well, here we are....The first Monday Moaning of 2016...It really seems odd to think that we are living in the year 2016, and we don't have our fucking flying cars....But shit, looking at how people drive, the idea of us all flying cars is terrifying as hell....

What else is terrifying?  The media in this country...A group of armed protesters/militia seized control of a federal wildlife refuge, and it is barely being covered...And when it is covered, none of these cunts in the media are calling theses ass-hats what they are...Terrorists! There is no other way to put it! And the lack of response is infuriating...Why hasn't the National Guard been mobilized? Why haven't there been drones blowing these fuckheads away?  Seriously, if I walked into City Hall armed to the teeth, and said I was claiming this property for the people, the police would fucking end me, and my wife wouldn't have a bad thing to say about them...This folks is some serious bullshit....

I'm at a loss over how fucking retarded this country is becoming...I mean shit, have you looked at the fucking dummies running for President!?!

2016 is picking up where 2015 left off...

-As I said in my NEW YEARS  I have paid no attention to sports...And that has continued...I watched some of the Winter Classic, but turned it off because their stupid drone camera was making me nauseous...I also watched a good deal of the Notre Dame and Ohio State game...That too made me nauseous...The best sports I watched over the weekend was College Hockey...Notre Dame and Denver played a couple great games....But the big highlight came from North Dakota's Drake Caggiula....






-There was something in Hockey that pissed me off last week...at the end of a Bruins and Senators game, fights broke out...





Everyone knows I'm pro-fighting, but something happened that pissed me off...Chris Neil gave Adam McQuaid an eye gouge...

This shows them both digging in, but if you watch the video again, Neil does it first, and then McQuaid does it trying to get Neil off...But even if  you want to call it dirty on both, this isn't the first time Neil has pulled this crap...

It seems like when he's struggling, he goes to the eye gouge...







But what made me really angry was the NHL did nothing about it...No fine, no suspension, nothing...It wasn't even talked about on NHL Radio or Netwwork...For some reason people respect Neil, and he's dirty as fuck...Just wait until this asshole takes a stick to the eye...It will be completely justified...


-In some positive hockey news...Last Saturday, Shannon Szabados of the Columbus Cottonmouths in the SPHL made 33 saves to record the first shutout by a female in men's pro-hockey...

This may help the couple emerging Women's pro-hockey leagues...Maybe...

-Now, I'm moving right along to my crusade to promote the fighting in the NHL, because douchebags like Mathew Barnaby and Mike Milbury annoy me so much for talking about getting rid of fighting in Hockey...Milbury who climbed in the stands and hit fan with a shoe, and Barnaby who never would have been in the NHL if he didn't scrap....Assholes!

- Now I will get to the final topic for this edition of Monday Moaning...The Bowl selection happened...And the Fiesta Bowl selected Notre Dame and Ohio State...The line has opened with Ohio State being a 5 point favorite...

I'll take it...The Irish plus 5...Ohio State has covered the spread just twice this season, on a really weak schedule...And I'm not even going to rag on the schedule, because anymore, it's a crap shoot, and the schedules are made a few years out...The Irish had softies too...But at least neither Charleston Southern on their schedule, right Alabama!?!  (twats!)

I saw some friends on Facebook already talking trash, like this is a damn cakewalk for Ohio State...Jesus fucking Christ, they struggled with Northern Illinois, Indiana, and Minnesota...Even in the games where they blew teams out they sucked balls for a quarter or two...Ohio State didn't play a complete until Michigan...

Yes, Notre Dame had a couple clunkers...Their defense saved them against BC, when the offense took that night off...Then the defense shit the bed against Stanford...

I expect this to be a good game...I expect a few sloppy moments, because shit, both of these teams had plenty of those this season, that's why they aren't in the playoffs...And yes, Buckeye Nation, I saw you pissing and moaning on Twitter Saturday night and early Sunday morning, how the playoffs should be eight teams and not four....Funny how you didn't feel that way last year...Knuckle up!

Anyways....I have to take a trip into Ohio soon, and make some bets with my friends there on this one...I'm looking forward to New Year's Day now!

Monday Moaning

Well, Saturday the Ohio State Buckeyes looked like asses...It wasn't just that they lost to Michigan State...Which by the way, Ronda feels for ya...

To me, the biggest thing is all year, they have wasted their best player, Zeke Elliott...You know, the guy that carried them through the end of last season, and the playoffs...And Saturday, after getting only two carries in the second half, he made his thoughts and feelings known...

"How we lost, I just feel like we weren't put in the right opportunity to win this game, we weren't put in the right situations to win this game. I don't think Michigan State was better than us. They weren't. We didn't execute."


Elliott continued....

"Honestly, this is my last game in the Shoe. I mean, there's no chance of me coming back next year."

"What happened today, it was kind of like a bad, bad dream. Offense had a rough day, and I'm disappointed. I'm disappointed in the play calling, I'm disappointed in the situations we were put in, and I wish it all played out differently."

Elliott wasn't done yet...

"It's very disappointing, the one drive that we had where we kind of had some momentum when we scored after the strip sack, the plays we ran, we ran a lot of gap schemes and we were gashing them. Shit is real tense in Columbus...Sure, it wouldn't be as tense if they managed to win, but considering how the Buckeyes haven't been blowing the doors off people they should have all year, it's clear that there has been trouble in Paradise...In my opinion, it never helps when you do that idiotic QB juggling crap...When you say, "we have two starting QB's," what you're really saying is, you don't have a starting QB...

I'd say I feel bad for ya...But we all know that would be bullshit, right?

Thanks to Ohio State, my Fighting Irish's position was helped...Which they needed since they couldn't hold onto the football all night in Fenway park...Dropped passes out the ass...Fumble after fumble...A couple INT's...The Irish defense is the only reason they got out alive...I first wrote that they didn't deserve the win...But the D did...The offense needs to run 100 laps cradling a football....

- How about Hockey...The New York Islanders moved to Brooklyn, and many thought it would be a great move...But so far, the ticket sales haven't gone as well as hoped...Plus, the arena isn't ideal for hockey viewing...The Nightly Show did a funny bit to try and help the Islanders reach real people from Brooklyn...

And while I'm here promoting hockey...I'm going to promote fighting...Why? Because 1. I like it...but more importantly 2. Because Matthew Barnaby is a fucking asshole...I'm listening to this guy on his Sirius XM, NHL Radio show, and he is yapping about how fighting needs to go away in hockey...And he sees it being gone relatively soon...Just to be clear folks, for those of you who may not know this...If it wasn't for fighting, Matthew Barnaby would have never had an NHL career...The guy was a garbage player, who talked shit, checked, threw elbows, and fought...Fucking cock-smoker...Oh, he has also hit women in his past too...Piece of shit!

So, I picked out two fights from this weekend that I enjoyed...I hope you do as well...

Old Time Hockey...Best Game of the Year

Last night in Boston, some Old Time Hockey broke out...One second into the game, this happened...




After that fight was done...One second later, this happened...




After that was taken care of, four seconds later this happened...



Then within the next one minute and fifteen seconds, the Bruins had scored two goals...Then a couple minutes later, this happened...




Nice! The Bruins took a 4-0 lead into the first intermission...That's a hell of a first period! Then they held on for a 6-3 win...It may not have been the best game of the year, but it was without a doubt, the best one minute and twenty seconds of hockey this season!

Monday Moaning

That's how the Beeze was feeling Sunday morning...And I'm well on my way of looking like this Monday morning too...That's what happens when you spend a little too much time with some Smuttynose Winter Ale!

I have to say, I couldn't tell you much of what's gone on in the world this weekend...The Grammy Awards were on...I didn't watch...I quit when the y gave Jethro Tull the award for "best heavy metal act." They lost all credibility right there...Nothing against Jethro Tull, it wasn't their fault...For God's sake, it was the first time they ever got any credit for their hard rockin' flute playin'! "But Child please!"

The music industry is crap...And most of the nominated artists I don't and wouldn't listen too...

You don't agree with me about the music industry? Here's my evidence...There's this hack chick Ke$ha, who thinks so much of herself that she spells her name with the dollar sign...Twat! she's got this hit song called "Tik Tok." But clearly no talent...Her voice is totally created in the studio... Example...



Now here's Opie & Anthony fan, 53 year old virgin, nut job, Stalker Patti, after a couple of hours with one of O & A's producers...

Patti isn't very far off...It's all a bunch of crap, and some one needs to be beaten for this...

The "Pro Bowl" was on also...Nope, didn't watch it!

There was some news in the hockey world...The Toronto Maple Leafs made some noise after trading forward Matt Stajan forward Niklas Hagman, forward Jamal Mayers, and defensman Ian White, to the Calgary Flames for defenseman Dion Phaneuf, forward Fredrik Sjostrom, and prospect Keith Aulie...

Then the Leafs traded forward Jason Blake and goalie Vesa Toskala to Anaheim for goalie J.S. Giguere...

Now if you're a Leafs fan, maybe this makes you happy...Hey, at least their out there trying to get something done...they got rid of some salary, like Blake...And they're getting one of the top defensemen in the league and a goalie with some serious playoff experience...That said, I don't see it helping the team this year...What do I know, I'm drunk right now!

Sticking to hockey, 'cause honestly, I don't follow basketball...I've been happy with the amount of fighting I've noticed this season...I have no stats, or anything to back me up...But I think the number of fights is up this year...And I think that's good...I know, there's a bunch of softies out there that don't like it, and don't think it should be in the game...Well, too bad...It's part of the game, and it was a lot worse back in the day...And I'm talking before I was born, back in the day...

And I always remember Gretzky being against fighting...Listen, dude was without a doubt one of the greatest ever...But he never had to worry about it...If he got challenged some one always stepped in...If he got checked, that guy was getting a beating from McSorley...So his argument doesn't count...Fighting is good for hockey...1. I takes the weapons (the sticks) out of the players hands...2. It does what crashes do for NASCAR...It gets people to watch, if only for a few minutes...Hey, the only time I've ever watched NASCAR was to see an accident...Call me an a$$hole if you want to...But we live in a violent society, I'm just trying to embrace a bit of it!

Moving along with this buzzed up roller coaster ride...The wife and I dropped the kids off for a play date at some friends' house, then went to lunch...We tried a little place called "56 West." I wish I would have gone further west!

The Mrs. had a Caprese Salad with grilled chicken...I had the B.E.L.T. It's a BLT with fried egg, arugula, roasted marinated tomatoes, and a herbed mayo...It came out on an 8 pound, stale, baguette, with 1 overcooked egg, and 2 under cooked pieces of bacon...Hardly any arugula, and one tomato...If I go back, it will only be to try something else sh!tty, so I can completely trash them by writing a blog on nothing but them and how much they suck!

Oh, yeah, these ass-hats thought they were so cute...They do a Sunday brunch...Guess what the staff was wearing...Their PJ's...REALLY!?! You look like douche bags...You could at least brush your hair gash! And I don't think slippers are up to code!

All the fans of the little Beeze, I don't have much...He's been a pain in the ass this week, but nothing crazy...I woke up Sunday morning to the sound of him yelling for help...My wife was on it...Thankfully, because I didn't want to get out of bed...I called my daughter in the room and asked her what was wrong...She said he had his foot caught inside my guitar...I don't even want to know...It's not all busted up...I'll re-tune it tomorrow...I just don't want to know...
