Once again my good friend posted a question on Facebook, as she does almost daily...You can see my previous post talking about this...Well, she did it agin...Asked a simple question that should have been easy to answer, and I just started writing away...Just letting the madness pour out of my head...Today's question...

"What is Your Idea of Perfect Happiness?"

Not having to worry about money, the all consuming monster that controls our lives....but that’s a fairytale...

The saying ignorance is bliss is so true...My life was happier before the internet...before smart phones and computers and social media...I physically and mentally happier...Yes, it allowed me meet more people and make great friends from a distance...I reconnected with so many old friends and that is wonderful, but like everything else, it’s been corrupted by money...

Now it’s a war to sift through the bullshit and propaganda and advertisements that pop up after you google something or talk to someone about something...

Yes, the internet has informed me of more things they didn’t teach me at St. Edward High or at Cleveland State...Yes I can make my voice heard through blogging and social media...I feel like I have to make it heard because I have this knowledge and these opinions and this technology to get it out there...

Maybe my mental state would be better off if I just wrote it all with pen in a notebook...Maybe my mental state would be better if I never learned more, informed myself and was concerned about others and the state our country has been in and is in...But then I’d be one of those ignorant people I hate and scream about daily on social media...I’d be ignorant as fuck...but I’d be happier, right?

Kansas City, You Ignorant Fucks!

 

The NFL kicked off it's 2020 season last night in Kansas City...The two teams quarterbacks got together and decided to get both teams together, locking arms...The asked for a minute of silence and called this a moment of unity, for social justice....

They didn't get that silence...Kansas City Chiefs fans made it clear they are opposed to unity and social justice...Chiefs fans boo'ed...One dipshit yelled "Trump 2020"... 

As noise from rained down from the only 20-25% of capacity crowd, (thanks to COVID...I'd be terrified to have heard what it sounded like full)...You could see the disappointment on the face of Chiefs QB, Patrick Mahomes....You could see the regret starting to creep in...'I can't believe I signed a 10 year extension to play in this racist, ass, city'....I wish every player would have said, 'fuck this, fuck these ignorant assholes, we're leaving' and walked off the field...

By the way, you racist...anti-unity.. 'shut up and play'...'entertain me boy'...Fucking assholes...Those two QB's standing with their arms locked, are the highest paid players in the league and they could but that whole asshole city if they wanted to...

I always liked to shit on the asshole Philadelphia fans for being such garbage people...Hell, recently I shit on Boston...But KC, you just jumped to the top of my list of most hated places in this country...FUCK YOU ALL!

Monday Moaning

Yeah she's hot...Except for the fact that Derek Jeter has been inside her...Why am I starting off this week's post like this? Fuck Derek Jeter, that's why! Early rumblings have Jeter as a lock to start in the "All-Star Game"...I fucking hate fan voting, because most fans are stupid...If Baseball fans don't vote Indians Shortstop, Asdrubal Cabrera as the starter, then their right to vote should be taken away..."All-Stars" are suppose to rack up the numbers to earn the spot...Well here are the fucking numbers...

There's a rumor the Sox are bringing a secret weapon with them...Our old friend Mo...Luckily, I told Mo to meet me before the game, and we have a secret weapon of our own...Something that will stop Mo, dead in his tracks...

As for Hockey News, I was on top of that early last week...Did you hear, BETTMAN_SAVED_THE_NHL!?!

Yesterday, I also covered the possible sale/move of the Atlanta Thrashers, and the Preakness Stakes, as I was LOOKING_AT_THE_5_Hole...

I also got off sports, and wrote about the DEATH_OF_RADIO...

But now we have to get into some important shit...Saturday, the Little Beeze had his first Flag Football Clinic...3 hours they worked these kids...5-11 years old, doing drills, running, and yes, a bit of fun...My brother-in-law in Boston was shocked at the 3 hours...I had to explain, this is Ohio...This is Football...The regular season starts in September, these little fuckers need to get ready!

Then Sunday, the Mrs. and I got a sitter, went to lunch...We ate at The Olive Garden, loading up on fatty pasta, because Monday starts hard-core dieting...Then we saw the movie "Priest"...It was nice to finally see a priest portrayed in a positive light, like killing the shit out of vampires, instead of killing the shit out of my ass!

On our way home we went to pick up McDonald's for the kids...A little treat for them behaving...The drive-thru was way backed up...So I said, let's just go in...Well it was backed up there too...Now I have learned not to expect great service from McDonald's, but holy shit! Listen, if you want to see funny shit, go to the McDonald's, in Brooklyn, Ohio, on Ridge Rd....

There was one girl, on break, texting...Only one guy taking orders...One guy slapping the food together...One slob strolling around, doing nothing...One girl at the drive-thru window...One kid doing the circle dance...Just standing in one place, constantly looking at everything, being completely overwhelmed, and getting none of it done...Then there were the 4 people at the Fry station, all in a panic...One of them tells the only guy taking orders, that he "needs to put his orders together himself"...So he stopped taking orders, right before it got to us...Now suddenly, there are two more dummies at the Fry station...

Holy fuck! All this and none of the retarded staff was on duty...They probably would have been better with a couple of those guys there...They just push through and get shit done...Finally after 10 minutes a girl walks to a register, and takes our order...The chaos continued...Who knew that two "Happy Meals" could be so tough...The circle dance kid was still completely fucked...Texting girl was now trying to get her food comped...Still there are 6 people worrying about nothing but fries...Who is in charge was heard in the ever-growing crowd...Finally, we get our food, and only one other order has been taken behind us, with a growing line of angry people...As this dopey bitch hands me our food, I say to her, "Thank you for the most entertaining 20 minutes I've had in a long time." as I laughed in her face...

I plan on writing this event up as a short film, and pitch it to Kevin Smith...We'll submit it to all the film festivals...Win...Then some studio will want me to write a major motion picture, and I'll draw a fucking blank!

Ignorance Was Bliss (part 5: Radio is Dead)

Yes, I said it in the title...Radio is dead...Now be patient, it may take me a few minutes to get there...But what got me thinking more about this was that damn Justin Bieber movie...Yeah, I saw it...My wife took our daughter to see it in the theater, twice...She told me she was going to make me watch it when it came out on DVD...Last Friday it was released on DVD, and on her way home from work, Mrs. Beeze grabbed it...

After dinner, I did something I didn't want to...I watched it...Hey, it's what we as dads do...We do shit to make our kids happy...My daughter didn't get why I didn't like Bieber...She knows how much I love music, and talented artists, and she kept telling me how talented he is...The thing is, I didn't like him because of the God awful hype machine behind him...And the teen music scene isn't for me...But she was right...Kid has some serious talent...The kid you're born with...And that hype machine behind him, well that was needed...

You see, I never heard this kid on the radio...Neither did my wife...He made his bones grinding away at it, playing where ever he could, and then that stuff made it to the Internet...Video didn't kill the radio star...The Internet did...Actually Radio did itself in, and the Internet put the nail in the coffin...

Radio got scared by MTV, which no longer shows video...Just stupid ass Teen Mom and Jersey Shore, retard shows...Radio kept changing formats and getting stuck in ruts...Stations latched on to one demographic and went all out with it...As technology changed they started getting rid of personalities, and started doing it without DJ's...Let me show you...Here are the top (music playing) Radio stations in Cleveland...

92.3 plays 90's and early 2000's "Alternative Rock" with tiny bits of today and '80s Alternative, like the Police, and Clash...The also have no DJ's now, they run off of a computer...98.5 plays nothing but "Classic Rock" since I was born...They have beaten Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and ACDC to death, and I can't take it anymore...100.7 is a legendary station here...The play a mix of 98.5 and 92.3, and some of today's rock...Oh, but they also have 9 hours of talk Monday through Friday...104.1 is top 40 crap...Mainstream pop...105.7 is oldies...Fuck that! 106.5 has says they play some crazy, awesome mix of everything, but it's mostly '80s stuff...And no DJ's...

The Radio business has no power on the music business anymore...Radio is playing what they think people want...And what people end up doing is downloading what they want to there iPods...Billboard rankings aren't based on air-play, or album sales...It's based on the iTunes numbers...Artists don't push albums through radio play...They push downloads through their websites...They use Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and U-Stream to stay connected to fans and push them where they want them...Sooner or later, Radio will be gone...We'll download what ever we want right to our car stereos...

And when it comes to Radio, I have become loyal to Satellite...I got XM about 5-6 years ago...Why? So I wouldn't be force-fed the same crap...With Satellite, I have tons of options, to listen to whatever varieties of music or talk I want...And O & A are there, and those guys brighten my days...But talk will die off one day too...People will just be getting podcasts of there favorite shows...And I'm sure sports will find their way of the Radio as well...

I'll miss my old friend Radio...I sometimes miss my Ignorance to all this technology...But then I look at myself right now, typing this blog, checking Twitter for funny one-liners, checking out the happenings on Facebook, while the Todd Wright Show is streaming in the background, and after I hit publish, I'm going to check out some filthy porn...What a world we have at our fingertips!

Ignorance Was Bliss (part 4: The N-word)

Let me start by saying, the term, "The N-Word" is stupid...I will be using the words nigger, and nigga in this post...If you can't handle that, get out...People say using "the N-word" takes the power/sting out of the word...That's bullshit!

Now, today I chaperoned my son's class trip to the Cleveland Metro-parks Zoo...Monday the Zoo is free with your ID showing you live in the county...So we knew going in that it would be crowded...We got there right at opening so we had an early start before it got busy...After lunch the crowd picked up...Us chaperones had to be on our toes...

At one point a group black men pushed through our group of kids while chatting with each other...Every other word out of their mouths was nigger or nigga...Some say there is a difference...I say they're full of shit...So first off, fuck you for pushing through a group of 5 and 6 year olds, you fucking assholes...Second, fuck you for spitting out the word nigger, rapid fire, like a fucking machine gun...

At this moment I'm in a no win situation...If I stop them and ask them to watch it with that word around the kids, I'm willing to bet they get pissed at me, for being offended by them using a word that would offend them if I used it...

If one of these kids stops and asks me what is a nigger, I'm willing to bet these black men get pissed off about a kid under my supervision using that word...A word they just heard come out of his mouth...(our group was mixed with white, blacks, Hispanics and Arabs, but mostly white)

I'm also willing to bet, that no matter how I answer that question, this group of men will not be happy with what I say...(before you accuse me of being racist, fuck you...I've seen shit like this happen before...I have known, work, and like plenty of black people...And to be honest, I hate plenty of people from any and every race...I'm a dick like that...)

So I kept my eyes on the kids, and rounded them up...and we went on our way...And then to make things worse, one of the other chaperones leaned towards me and said, "fuckin' niggers"...And all I was thinking was, 'okay white trash.'

What am I getting at...I'm sick of the n-word debate...People say that the over-use of nigga/nigger in rap music, and Tarantino movies have taken the power out of the word...They're all fucking liars...Because if those black guys would have heard that white trash guy say "fuckin' niggers" they would have beaten the living shit out of him in front of a bunch of little kids...

Here, you want to take the sting and power out of the word, first lead...Lead by not saying it all the time...Stop using it the same way I use fuck...Second, ignore it when a backwards-ass dolt says it...I know these sound like shocking ideas...Shocking ideas that have been suggested by people wiser than I...But what the fuck did Martin Luther King know?

Monday Moaning

I hope all had a happy Easter...Or if that isn't your thing, I hope you had a good weekend...Mine was alright...But before I get to that...Let me pimp something I started Friday...The first of a series that I call IGNORANCE_WAS_BLISS...

So let me hang my head first...My New York Rangers lost their series to the Washington Capitals Saturday...They played hard...They gave the Capitals every thing thy had...But sadly, they didn't have much scoring...Goalie Henrik Lundqvist did all he could, as he has all year...Oh, and he got snubbed for a Vezina nomination...But I like the Rangers' future...They have stopped bying big-name players, and started drafting well, and developing well...Their blue line is stocked with talent...And guys like Dubinsky, Callahan, and Anisimov give them a nice core...Plus guys like Boyle and Prust, 4th liners before, have show they can play like second and on special teams...I have high hopes for next season...

Right now I'm rooting hard for the Chicago Blackhawks, after the crap CANUCKS fans pulled...It's a must win for the 'Hawks...I'll let you know what happens...(2-2 in second intermission) If the 'Hawks don't win it, then I'm pulling for whoever is playing the Canucks, and there overrated goalie Roberto Luongo...

Canucks fans weren't the only people talking trash lately...The Habs and Bruins have been going at it hard...Canadiens fans weren't happy about Andrew Ference flipping them the bird...




Then Saturday night injured Canadiens player Max Pacioretty talked some smack via Twitter about Brad Marchand, which got the Bruins fans talking shit about Pacioretty's broken neck and concussion...WOW! All this social media has made us all so much more classy!

But enough Hockey for now...Sunday morning I was awakened by the sound of two kids searching for Easter baskets...Oh the joy of kids finding candy, and toys...Yes, we give them a couple of small toys, and less candy...After the dental hell we went through with our oldest, fuck the candy, go play!

In the afternoon, the Little Beeze and I were heading to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History...He loves that joint...Before we left he dropped a deuce...To everyone's surprise, his shit was totally, and completely blue...Seriously blue...He didn't feel sick...Nothing hurt...Just some blue logs...Then I saw that the wife had left a couple of the tablets for coloring eggs, out on the table...She said one was missing...How much you want to bet it was blue, and the little dolt thought it was candy!?!

So to the Museum we went....Here's a tip...Go on Easter! Place was almost empty...Hell, they didn't even charge us for the parking...Here he is with Triceratops...

Last week I wrote about my disgust over how the American media has been gushing over the upcoming Royal Wedding...It's gotten worse...All the morning shows are talking about it...The Nightly News is spending at least 10 minutes on it...Every network is sending shit-tons of staff to cover it...My Mother-in-law showed up today to visit for the week, and said she was getting up at 4:00AM Friday to watch this horse shit...

Seriously America, what is wrong with you? Why? Why? are you so obsessed with powerless, figureheads, from the country that or forefathers fled from? ANSWER ME!?!

Before I go, I thought I'd give you a quality, Easter Hockey Fight...Evgeny Artuykhin ain't taking anyone's shit apparently...



And, the Blackhawks just won 4-3 in overtime...They have beaten the Canucks in 3 straight games...Unreal how the Canucks are folding...Tune into Versus on Tuesday night around 9 and see the 'Hawks take 4 in a row, and knock the Canucks and that hack Luongo out!

Ignorance Was Bliss (part 1)

I've been in a mood lately...Yes, I'm over-tired, but that doesn't really have anything to do with it...I've realized how much easier life was when I didn't give a shit about anything other than myself...Sex, drinking, and rock & roll...

I was always interested in History...Hell 6 more credits and I could be an unemployed History teacher...So because of that I always paid attention to the news, but back in my youth, it didn't really impact me that much...Then I got married, and started pumping out kids, now I had to care/worry about people other than myself...Now the news has a much bigger impact on me, and I'm starting to hate it....

I pay too much attention to politics, and what is going on in the world! I don't actually believe that...People who have no clue about what is going on in the world make me nuts...But I wish I didn't care as much as I do...I sure as hell would be a happier man...So I'm going to be posting a few blogs about shit in the news that really has me pissed off...Some you may know about...Some you may not...

First up, the Great State of Ohio...It seems there is always something popping up in my home state that makes me physically ill...Recently and quietly, the state legislature has been working on a bill that would make it legal for people that have a Concealed-Carry permit, to wear/carry their gun with them into a bar, restaurant, or sporting venue...So we want to mix guns and alcohol? What the fuck are these people thinking...Listen, I'm not some hippie, anti-gun fuck-tard...You want your gun, that's fine...But the last thing we need is guys in a bar, getting heated over sports or politics, and then boom...Dead bodies everywhere...

Christ there's a guy in a coma, because he was wearing a Giants cap, and some boozed up Dodgers fans beat his ass for it...Now we'll let them bring their guns!?! Fuck that! The Indians thought ticket sales were bad before, just wait until half the seats sold are people who are strapped...

This just seems, stupid and unnecessary...And it will pass, because the NRA has boat loads of money and lobbyists helping t o push it through...

I jokingly called Ohio, Little Texas...Then I started thinking about that place...It can't all be bad...But their governor is an ass-hat...I saw how the wild-fires are raging all over the state of Texas, and while I feel bad for the citizens, my first thought was fuck'em...WHY? Because their ass-hat governor Rick Perry wants to secede from the United States...Go ahead and be part of Mexico then dummy...And while your state is burning, don't go asking us for any federal assistance and aid...You want to be on your own...Go for shithead!

Since I was talking Ohio, and idiot governors, I guess I need to come back to Ohio...Since Our new Governor has stepped into office, he has given his staff raises, then told us we need to make cuts...He's trying to take down the police, fire, and teachers unions, just like that asshole in Wisconsin...

Then Governor Kasich who was one of these fuck-stains that ran on getting more jobs here, and how important education is to our future, put forth his budget...So much for jobs...His budget has fucked cities so badly, that they are all looking at shit-canning police officers, firefighters, and teachers...More jobs you say Mr. Kasich...You budget just got 700 Cleveland School Teachers and staff fired...

Now I agree that we as a country and as individual states need to make some cuts...The debt in this country is insane, but these twats refuse to look in their own home for cuts...I'm sure our public officials can get by without some of that over inflated staff they have...Why not take a pay cut, instead of the pay increase this year? Oh that's right...You say you care about us folks, but really we know that's all bullshit...You're a politician...




See wasn't it nicer when we didn't really care that much...
