The Beeze's Friday Finger Pop
So it's time for the second edition of the finger pop...Some quick notes, followed by some great asses...Let's get started...
Auburn's Heisman winning QB Cam Newton is going to enter the NFL draft...He's not a bad QB, but I can already hear the analysts picking apart his throwing motion...I'm gonna call it now...Before he even gets drafted...Newton will be another in a long line of Heisman winning QB's who is a bust!
My Notre Dame fighting Irish landed their top recruit, and by that I mean, WR Michael Floyd has decided to come back for his senior year...Floyd is a key piece to the offense, and has been since he stepped on campus...He will be huge for the Irish next year, as long as he stays healthy...
In Baseball, The Yankees are at it again...Throwing money around that is...The Yankees threw a 3 year, $35 million contract at Reliever, Rafael Soriano...Now the kid is good, but shit, he isn't that good!
The New york Jets keep talking shit, leading up to their playoff game with the New England Patriots...I hope and expect the Pats to win, and run the score up as much as possible...
Wednesday night the President attended the memorial service in Arizona for the victims of last Saturday's shooting...He gave a great speech...A presidential speech, that didn't get political...It was hopeful, and uplifting, inspiring...It showed off his gifts of speaking and connecting with people...I just hope plenty of people listened...It seemed like there were some people there trying to make this event a rally...It was a memorial service, and the President did his part very well...Some in the crowd didn't...And some in the media missed the point, although that isn't surprising...
Now time to lighten up the mood...Time to finger pop!
Later, The Beeze.
