Shootings, Race, and Mental Illness

Well, the title listed some serious hot button issues there, so I figure we may as well just push that envelope as far as we can with a nice picture...

So, our country has had another fucked up mass shooting...A little racist douchebag in South Carolina shot 9 people after a Wednesday night Bible study group...Since then there have been a number of issues batted around...The media touches on them...People touch on them, but no one really talks...They tiptoe around it all because everyone is afraid of offending some one else...Well, not me kids...

Topic 1.  The Confederate Flag...Lots of people suddenly think it should be done away with...They want South Carolina to stop flying it...Okay, I'm not from the South, so I don't get the big connection people in the South have to it...And I'll never be from the South...I'll never live there...I hate the fucking heat...And while I do one helluva impression of a Bible-belt, hillbilly, redneck, accent, I don't fucking want to hear it everyday of my life...But let me say this about your silly fucking flag you hold near and dear...the Civil War ended...YOU FUCKING LOST!  The North won...The slaves were freed...Oh, and far too long after, segregation ended...And no matter how much those things you never lived through really piss you off, it's the way it is...Been that way your whole life, so grow the fuck up...Your great, great grand-daddy lost!  Burn every fucking Confederate flag left!

Topic 2.   President Obama said nigger...The President was on Comedian, actor, broadcaster/podcaster Marc Maron's "WTF Podcast"...Maron is known for leaning left, but I was surprised the President decided to go on it...Supposedly his people reached out to Maron for the interview...And for the first time in awhile he said some real, honest shit...But everyone missed it, or well, the media didn't talk about it anything except him saying nigger...They acted like he was walking around the room just saying 'nigger, nigger, nigger, nigger'....No...He was talking about race and how it's still clearly a big problem in out country...So here is the full context of what he was saying....

“It is incontrovertible that race relations have improved significantly during my lifetime and yours, and that opportunities have opened up, and that attitudes have changed, That is a fact.”

“What is also true is the legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination in almost every institution of our lives, you know, that casts a long shadow and that’s still part of our DNA that’s passed on. We’re not cured of it.”

Okay...get over it...The man did what we always say we want politicians to do...He spoke honestly..

Topic 3.   There has been a complaint that when one of these white asshole, psychos shoots up a school, movie theater, of church, that they are given a pass with the 'They're mentally ill' excuse...(I refuse to use the names of asshole shooters like this dick-bag in South Carolina...I won't give them the cocksucker attention they want)...But the fucker in Connecticut, Colorado, and this fuck down South...Do any of them look like they have an ounce of sanity?  No! They all have a mile long stare...Fucked up hairstyles because they're pleading 'look at me!'  But we don't...We look away, because we can tell they're bat-shit crazy...Which is a huge problem on our part...Everyone is so sensitive these days in America, we aren't allowed to call for the authorities just because some fuck-tard looks like a lunatic...We have to wait until he does some crazy shit...But then it's too late...

But whatever...Back to the shooting part of it all...While the shit-bag in South Carolina is a racist, I refuse to just leave it at that...He is also nuts...Mentally ill just like the other fuckers from Colorado and Connecticut...But I'm not stopping there...In this country there are shootings everyday...EVERY FUCKING DAY...And you know what...All those shooters are mentally ill on some level as well...I don't care if it was a black gang members shooting Hispanic gang members...The three young black teens in Philly who got "bored" shot, robbed and killed a white man walking his dog Last Month...They are all mentally ill...If you are not defending your life, or someone else's life, you are mentally fucked if you can just kill anyone that easily...There is no difference...A killer is a killer, and a killer is fucked up in the head...

And I have no use for trying to rehabilitate any of them...No treatment...No jail...They bring nothing to the table...They all need to be erased...

Topic 4.   Gun Control Laws...Lets be honest...There are no gun laws, background check bullshit, any of that shit, that would have stopped the shithead in South Carolina...The only way to stop shootings is to get rid of every gun in this country...And that ain't happening...We can't get the losers of the Civil War to get rid of their flag, how would we get everyone in the country to get rid of their guns...And with how little we trust our shithead government, we may need to hold onto them...But seriously, how did anyone look at Connecticut kid, Colorado kid, and South Carolina racist kid, and think anyone of those fucking dolts could responsibly handle gun ownership!?! 

I'm not a gun guy and my screaming liberal wife doesn't want one around...But I'll be honest, with how fucked up and violent our country has been acting, I've thought of getting one to protect my family...

Topic 5.   Honest Discussion about Race....I have heard so many talking heads in the media, as well as politicians say that this is what we need as a country...But none of them are willing to actually sit down with real people and do it...They'll get a panel together with a few different professors and lawyers with different ethnic backgrounds, and they'll kick the can around, and then it's all forgotten...Because nothing real is said...And Don Lemon with a couple professors and lawyers doesn't represent you, or me, or anyone except for TV douchebags, lawyers and professors...

I saw Lemon down in South Carolina talking to some little douchebag about the racial issues...In the background was a black woman...A regular black woman who just lost friends, who were shot in her church...She was shouting at them...Wanting her feeling heard...She said things about the President...She called Lemon and "Uncle Tom"...She voicing her frustration...You know what they said..."Lets go to commercial so we can have a real discussion."  Fuck You Don! Fuck you CNN! You had chance to put her on the TV and try to have a back and forth with her...Let a real voice be heard...Maybe bring in some other folks from the neighborhood...It could have been amazing TV...But you fuckers were scared...And you think a "real discussion" just means you suits...

America, we have problems...We need to figure them out...And we need to do it without our shitty media screwing it up, and our politicians scamming it for political gain...Real, free, and honest discussion is welcome here...Call me an asshole if you need to...Just try to back it up with some reasoning.

Monday Moaning

Gate - "A gate or gateway is a point of entry to a space enclosed by walls, or a moderately sized opening in some sort of fence."

Yes people, that is the definition of "Gate"....It doesn't mean, 'lets add it to the end of every possible conspiracy ever'....Back in the tricky Dick Nixon days Watergate became a big thing...A big crime...a big story...But it was called Watergate, because that was the name of the damn building where it happened....

So when you talk about the New England Patriots underinflated footballs and call it "Deflate-Gate," you sound like a fucking idiotic asshole! Just as you did when you called the Patriots spying shit "Spy-gate"...Or the Saints bounty plan being called "Bounty-gate"...Or every other conspiracy over the last 4 decades...Seriously people, read a dictionary...But while I'm at it, why didn't they call that Ray Rice mess, "Woman Beating-Gate?"

And no, Ballgazi isn't any better...Sure it hasn't been beaten to death for 4 decades, but it really has the idiotic political overtone of trying to blame President Obama for it...Anything he does gets a "gazi" thrown on it now, he doesn't need the Patriots balls on his head too...

And yes, I said President Obama...I'm not sure when it started but I'm sick of hearing and reading people referring to the President as juts "Obama"....At first, it seemed like it was just a Republicans?Conservative way of disrespecting him...But I have heard it on the left too...Some of the President's biggest supporters regularly, simply refer to him as "Obama"...I don't care if you like him or not...Agree or not...I was always taught, and believe you respect the office...Even if you are opposed to the man...Average Joe doing it doesn't surprise me...But so-called journalist doing it makes me sick...Truly respectable journalism is dying away at a frighteningly rapid pace...

-Okay, Let me get into a little sports...Saturday the NHL had it's All-Star Skills competition...Sunday was the game, but that's always a joke...The skills competition is all about the players having fun, and the fans getting a look in at not just the fun, but some skills as well...Columbus, Ohio has become a good hockey town, as was pumped for this weekend...And Columbus Bluejackets Center Ryan Johansen made the place go crazy during the Breakaway Challenge...It's become their version of the Slam Dunk contest, where the guys like to get creative...Here's his first shot....





The fans in Columbus ate that shit up...But I was really impressed with his second effort...





The kid is  the son of one of the Bluejackets trainers...Just an awesome moment...Former Bluejacket Jakub Voracek didn't want to be out done, so he tried the same move with his own little guy...






But in the end Johansen won...The other big story from the Skills Competition was Shea Weber winning the hardest shot contest with 108.5 miles per hour...It was a bit easier for Weber this year, without Chara being there, who holds the record with 108.8 mph...




Now, as I said the All-Star game is a joke...No Defense, no hitting...Goalies getting hung out to dry...I was at work and didn't see the game...Luckily, the NHL broke down the tape...Here's all 29 goals in a minute and a half...




If you can watch more clips of the skills competition, do it...Then watch some hockey...Any hockey...Junior, AHL, high school, NHL...It's better then basketball...And the week of bullshit leading up to the "Super Bowl" is just that...Don't waste your time...Tune it all out until Kickoff on Sunday...Fill that time with hockey...

Monday Moaning

Yeah, this is about all the Soccer coverage you're gonna get from me...


I'm not going to act like one of those bandwagon, douchebag fans...I never liked Soccer...I never watch it...I don't care about it, and I'm not going to start now...

Yet America was filled with Soccer fans today...At least a lot of people acting like they were Soccer fans...And then the newly converted Soccer fans, because the U.S. Women's team was playing in the championship game...WHAT!?! This wasn't even men's Soccer? WTF people!?! Oh, I can smell the angry ladies now, as I belittle female sports...Let's be honest people...Women's sports have a hard time drawing to begin with...Mix that with Soccer, which has a hard time drawing in the U.S. and you have something on your TV to help put you to sleep!

By the way, the U.S. lost on penalty kicks or whatever...Suddenly Americans get why people were saying how it sucks to decide a game on penalty kicks...

And I have to go after a couple dolts on Twitter...Yes there were constant Twitter updates from these newly found Soccer fans...But there were a couple who went after President Obama for not being at the game...Now I've written things against him, and in favor of him, but this shit is just retarded...I think he some more important shit to worry about, then a Soccer game...You know, like trying to get Democrats and Republicans to work out some kind of deal that will stop the world from falling into an economic shit storm...And the troops that are still fighting overseas...And countless other things...

Oh, and don't forget the media and bloggers like me who would be up his ass if he was wasting his time at a stupid fucking Soccer game, instead of trying to do his job...

And before you ask, I didn't watch the fucking Golf either! That would have sent me to nap time as well...

In Football news, Cedric Benson has been arrested again...This is his 4th bit of legal trouble in 3 years...He is also the third member of the Bengals to get arrested in the last couple weeks...Yeah, Pac-Man Jones got busted too...The NFL should just suspend that whole fucking team right now!

Wednesday I shared a brief potion of the BOOK I've been working on...No White Asparagus in this!

Now to the Little Beeze...Tee-Ball season has gone well, and surprisingly it is almost over already...I wish the season was a couple weeks longer...I'm really seeing the improvement, and would love to let these kids get some more hacks...My boy has been excellent in the field...He's got one of the three best arms on the team...His hitting was good last year, and it's gotten better each week...


The boy has been crazy about that damn Angry Birds game for the last year...The constant updates keeps it exciting for him...He's also a good little Artist...Great at drawing, and then Saturday, While I was working my double at the Fish House, the Mrs. texted me this picture...



Kids got it down pretty good...Sunday I asked him if he could make anymore with Play-Doh...He proceeded to make another red bird...3 blue birds, and two yellow birds...If Baseball doesn't pan out, maybe his art skills will take him somewhere!

He also found this video on his iPod, and loved it...He asked if I would put it in the blog, and I said what the hell...

American Exceptionalism is Dying

This week, on Friday, the Final NASA Space Shuttle Mission will launch...Yes, it the end of an era...The Space Shuttle Program ha been scrapped...NASA had been working on the rockets to replace the Space Shuttles, but the President killed the budget for NASA...

President Obama has always talked creating jobs, and how research and development is the area we need to excel...He talked about creating jobs when he came to Cleveland...Well thanks to cutting NASA's budget, there have been more jobs lost in Cleveland/Ohio...One of the rockets that was scrapped, was being designed at the NASA Lewis Glenn Research Center...Great move!

Research and Development he said...NASA has been at the forefront of research and development...So much of the technology we have today is because of NASA...We have microwaves because of NASA...Thanks to NASA's R & D we have phones the size of infants' hands, that have more power, memory, and capabilities, then were ever imagined when the first computer was built...It was the size of a house...

NASA was a major reason for American Exceptionalism...President Obama has spoken of it repeatedly...Many people have said that he is a perfect example of American Exceptionalism...No! NASA was...There is nothing exceptional about taking away their funding, killing more jobs, and killing the county's leader in R & D...

Now I voted for the President, and this is one of the things he's done, that has disappointed me...I just blame him...No one in DC has fought for NASA...They all keep talking about making cuts, but they aren't willing take any cuts to their benefits, or to their staff, or to their salary...Cut, cut, cut, as long as it doesn't affect their comfy life...They've all been running on jobs, then they turn around and cut police, fire, and teacher's jobs left an right...

Don't fund R & D leader NASA, but bailout the banks twice...(Once under Bush, once under Obama)...Bailout big Auto...Tax cuts for Big Oil...Tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% but screw the middle class...I had "HOPE" that there could possibly be some real "CHANGE" but clearly there is no changing politics...

And I can't say I won't vote for President Obama again, because right now, there are a bunch of fuck-tards running, who let any nonsense that pops into their head, spill out of their mouths, no matter how stupid it is...Mitt Romney isn't totally awful, except for back-pedaling from everything he did as Governor of Massachusetts, and being a Mormon....That's really dumb....

It's clear that are leaders, and those who want to lead, are lacking American Exceptionalism...If our leaders are lacking it, then it's that much harder for the everyman to reach it...Where is our future heading?

The Beeze's Hump Day Hits

Yeah, it's been all about the blow job lately...One of the smartest things I've done in my life, was striking a deal with my wife...If she drops and gobbles, I'll get up with the baby that night...It's worked out very well so far...I've always been able to run on little sleep...She's happy because she gets a good night of sleep, and I just got blown! I've gotten more blow jobs in the last month than I got all of last year! There's a life lesson folks...Marriage is all about give and take...I'm giving loads and she's taking them!

Next up, a quick birthday shout-out to Wayne Gretzky...Wayne Gretzky is 50 years old today...That just seems crazy to me...


Many have argued whether Gretzky is the greatest hockey player of all-time...Many say Gordie Howe, because he had the physical game, to go with so many of the records Gretzky broke...Many say Bobby Orr, because he changed the way the game was played, and how defensemen played...I wasn't lucky enough to see either of those guys live and in living color...But I saw plenty of Gretzky...He had a feel for the game that was unmatched...In my eyes he's the greatest, and I don't see these young stars knocking him off that pedestal...

So, who watched the big State of the Union speech? I watched porn! Why should the DC douchebags be the only ones sitting around stroking their egos! I actually did catch the speech...It was a well done, well thought out, rah, rah speech...'We should do this, and we should do that...I want to do this, I want to do that...America Yay!' But there wasn't much in the way of how we are going to do this and that...The President talked about making advances technology that could be this generations "Apollo" moment...Well isn't that funny...Invoking Science, Technology, and NASA after basically shutting NASA down...I wonder if people realize how much of what we use in our every day lives is because of research that had been done by NASA?

The speech was filled with ass kissing aimed at both the left and the right, but mostly down the middle...And at first I liked it...The man has a way with giving speeches...But then I went over it and realized the lack of substance, and that this was more of a motivational speech...Sadly we've seen little motivation from most people in DC, so why would they start now?

President Obama made a great speech in Arizona after the shootings a couple weeks ago...And after last night's speech I realized what had happened...The Speech in Arizona was the first of his re-election campaign...Last night was number two...Politics is politics...

I know this is either boring some one or bothering some one, so let's get Bill Burr in the mix talking about Brett Favre's Masseuse trouble...

President Obama, Please Do Your Job

Yeah, I said it...Right now, I've had enough...The whole damn city of Cleveland is going bat-shit-crazy, fearing that LeBron James will be leaving...You're all acting like f**king Children! But then as I'm watching, the Nightly, National News, I have to hear that President Obama has once again voiced his opinion, that he wants LeBron to sign with the Chicago Bulls...This is the third time in a couple months that I have either read this or heard it...

That's right "King James" Uncle Obama wants you!

Now, don't get me wrong...The President has a right to his opinion...But so do I...In my opinion, while he holds the job as President of the United States, he should be a little less focused on NCAA Brackets, and NBA free agents, and a little more focused on the important shit that comes across his desk...Leave the sports and nonsense shit to douchebag bloogers like me, and talking head idiots on ESPN...

What should the Prez be worried about? Ummm, let's see here...How about, we have troops dying every day in Afghanistan, and Iraq...Unemployment is high as hell, with no real plan to fix it...The Housing market is still a mess...Oh yeah, we're still making the world's largest batch of Vinaigrette in the Gulf of Mexico...There's still been no real Wall Street reform, and the Banks are still getting over on us all...The Health Care Bill passed, but let's be honest...It was a weak ass bill, and it's spread out over 16 years, so so much of it is going to be changed after President Obama is out of office, that it just doesn't matter...

That's just crap on the top my head...I haven't even gotten into the heavy shit, like the U.S. always having Israel's back, even when their government is wrong...Or how about every President clearly being in bed with Big oil, and the Saudi Royal Family, all the while, behind our backs they are funding terrorists...

So I ask President Obama...Please, grow some stones, slap around both parties in Congress, and get some real work done...Leave the Sports bullshit to hacks like me!

The President Had His Say, Now I'll Have Mine

I had heard some talk about this on the radio today...But I like to be well informed...So of course I got online and starting searching the STORY ...Clearly by that link I found it!

So President Obama gave his two cents...Now I'll give mine...In the past I've supported him on issues...Others I haven't...I won't be supporting him on this...Why? Because he comes off as a ass! The opening of the article was all I need to be pissed...

"US President Barack Obama, in his latest criticism against modern media, expressed grief Sunday that in the era of iPads and Xboxes, information had become a diversion that was placing new stresses on democracy."

What!?! Now information is a bad thing!?!

While speaking to the graduating students at Hampton University, The President told them "the key to progress is education." Yet he also said, "You're coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don't always rank all that high on the truth meter.”"

Heaven forbid we be exposed to more the one view point...God knows I'm not gonna go with just what FOX News and MSNBC say...Because if MSNBC said the sky was blue, FOX would say it was red...If FOX said MSNBC was right, they'd say they were wrong! So yes Mr. President, those of us who try to stay informed will seek out more then one side of the story...

The President feels blogs and radio shows sharing their thoughts and opinions, puts "new pressures on you, it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy," Why? Because their view differs from yours...Because it may cause some one to think...Because they may have to click another link to try and get the whole story...If I can find a blog knocking you, I can find one praising you, and I know to take them both with a grain of salt...The President thinks so highly of the American people, that he doesn't think we can handle information from more then just the stupid cable news outlets...

Another thing that makes President Obama sound like a dolt to me on this topic...His campaign was so deeply rooted in technology, and getting the word out any and all ways...He started a TWITTER account...They started the WhiteHouse Twitter account...So clearly, it's okay when it works in his favor...But if it isn't, then it's bad!

Well Mr. President, it's official...You're a real politician, because you're acting like a f**king child!

I agree with President Obama on the importance of education...

I also agree with Thomas Jefferson's thoughts that, America can only work if each of us stays informed and engaged, if we hold our government accountable, if we fulfill the obligations of citizenship...So I'll keep my technology, so I can keep tabs on President Obama and all the other untrustworthy politicians in this country.
