Monday Moaning

There's a lot shit going on in the "news" and it's all pretty fucking annoying to me....I truly, honestly, don't give a damn about Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner...I'm all for people being happy with who they are, you want to change your sex, go ahead...I've always supported equals rights for EVERYONE...That includes celebritards who are fucking media whores...Do what you want, I just don't give shit...I won't be watching your fucking show, and I won't be following you on Twitter...

Then there was a lot of stink, because the super media whore factory ESPN, has decided to give Jenner their big Arthur Ashe award at their annual 'Let's pat ourselves on our backs' award show, The Espy's...The laundry list of athletes more worthy was widely reported...ESPN doesn't care, they are looking at selling ad time because they will be hyping the drama of seeing a former male, U.S. Olympic gold medalist, wearing a lovely evening gown...I have never watched the Espy's and I won't this year...

Next pile of shit I don't care about...These fucking Duggar people...Holy fucking shit...The Television industry should be ashamed of itself already...All this so-called "Reality TV" bullshit is such fucking nonsense....These fuckers have '19 Kids and Counting"...That's the name of their show...I've never watched, because I'm not fucking idiot...But I looked into them a bit after the news about their one asshole son broke...These people are full-blown-bat-shit-crazy!  Just fucked in the head...Then it comes out there one son has molested multiple girls...Including two of their daughters, HIS SISTERS!...They covered it up...They tried to "get him help"...The father even went to try to justify it by saying he did most of his molesting, "Over the clothes".....These fuckers can't die fast enough!  I'm still trying to figure out why the parents aren't in jail for covering it up...

Then I saw family members blaming the media for leaking the story out there, and 'Doing this to our lives." Really cunts!?!  You put your idiot life on TV...You have no problem with the media paying your fucking bills, to feed all those fucking mouths, but now the media is evil!  Again, these people can't die fast enough!

-Okay, I feel better...

Now, I live in Cleveland, but I have made it clear over the years that I don't like or follow basketball...And I have made it clear over the years, that I don't like LeBron James at all...(Long before "The Decision" I wrote about my distain for him)...So the Cavaliers are in the Finals, but I'm not willing to be Johnny Bandwagon...I'm not going to suddenly write like I know something about Basketball...I'm not even watching....If the Cavs win, I will not celebrate it, I won't suddenly be wearing Cavs gear...I will be happy for my friends who support the Cavs, but I'll stay true to myself, and remain not a basketball fan, and a LeBron James fan...

I did hear about the Kyrie Irving injury, and I saw the entire national media basically say that the Cavaliers have no chance...All I will say about this America, and Cleveland....The National Media is wrong more often then they are right...Just look to Vegas kids...Since the Irving broke his knee-cap, and media put the nail in the Cavs coffin, there has been a lot more money in Vegas being put on James and the Cavaliers...I put more stock in what the books are saying then the media....

-Saturday, American Pharoah won the Belmont Stakes, and completed the Triple Crown...The first time in 37 years....I'll be honest, I'm a cynical bastard...I had my money Frosted...I had American Pharoah coming in second...I mean shit, There have been a bunch of Triple Crown hopefuls in my lifetime, and I have seen them all fail...And while watching the Kentucky Derby, I really like how Frosted closed...I told my wife that day, "Frosted will win at Belmont."  Well, fuck me, I was wrong...

As they came around the last turn Frosted had started charging from the back, and was quickly in second coming down the stretch...Pharoah had been leading the whole way...Frosted was surging...But some how, American Pharoah just kept cruising...The horse just ran a smooth race, and finished five and a half lengths ahead of Frosted...The horse didn't even look tired...

Now American Pharoah, as long as his owners aren't stupid, is looking forward to a wonderful life...They shouldn't run this horse again...Don't even take a chance at a loss, or an injury...Just put him out to Stud... a life a relaxation, eating, and fucking! (Ahhhh, my dream!)  That's gonna be some expensive sperm!

-The Stanley Cup Finals were evened up Saturday as Tampa Bay pulled out the win...They seemed to push the tempo most of the game...The Strangest part of the game was Lightning goalie Ben Bishop coming out of the game twice in the third period...The second time for good...20 year old Andrei Vasilevsky filled the relief role well...He was tested heavily, and held the lead his team gave him...

The Lightning are not saying what caused Bishop to leave the game, and they are not saying who will start game 3 Monday night in Chicago...Some have speculated that it was a leg injury after Bishop was run into by Antoine Vermette...There are others that are speculating that Bishop had a case of the green apple splatters, and couldn't hold it...Vasilevsky looked calm in relief, and is a highly touted young goalie...And considering the inconsistent play of Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford, I'm not sure if it matters if either team needs to go with a their backup goalie...

That's it for now...

Have a week.

Monday Moaning

WHY? WHY!?! WHY is she never on my flight!?!

Okay, to be honest, it's not like I really travel much...To let you people behind the mask a bit, I haven't been on a plane since I was 20 years old, and then I was in an alcohol induced coma...Both ways....Shit, I don't remember much of the trip because of all the drinking I did...And if you were to get me on a plane now, you'd either need lots of alcohol, or her!

So, I'm not gonna lie to ya, I don't have much sports to give ya...The week was crazy with running practices for Little Beeze's baseball team, and on the opposite days, my oldest daughter had softball games...Not easy to watch, and give her pointers, with 2 year old Molly wanting to go back to the playground...All week was a constant rush...

Wednesday was the kids last day of school for the year...The boy who was about a half a year behind his class when starting school this year, caught up, and exceeded the goals set for him by his teacher...Wednesday he received the President's Achievement Award...He did awesome! We're very proud...Our oldest slowly declined in her school work, getting more of a social life, and being a bit boy crazy...She did well, but she can do better...We're proud of her, but she got a talk about needing to do better...Now paying for Catholic School, I have become my Father...I always said I wouldn't get upset about my kids grades, or a bad progress report, the way my parents did...Now I do, and I understand why...I wasn't as harsh about it, but I made my point clear...

She did get a Music Award, Band Award, Accelerated Reader Award, Citizenship Award, and Day Dreamer Award...Still not sure how good that one is? The boy also got a Top Mass Participant Award, Good Friend Award, and Clean Desk Award, which got him in trouble since his room and little man cave are a fucking mess!

They had a good year, and they already have assignments that they have to have done for the first day next year...

Friday, the wife went out with a couple friends after work...Not bad, except besides staying home with my kids, her one friend dropped her 4 and 1 year olds off here...The kids are great with the 4 year old, which is good, because she tried testing me a couple times, and didn't like me saying no...So she went off with them in the playroom...The little guy hung with me and Molls...Which got interesting as she got a bit territorial...

The gals came back, had another glass of wine, or two and bs'ed...Which just made things crazier, because all the kids wanted to be around them, make noise, and spill shit...And I just wanted to watch the Bruins beat the Penguins....Which they did, and they'll be facing Chicago in the Stanley Cup Finals...I'll take the Bruins in 6...The Blackhawks are really good, but the Bruins have been playing flawless hockey, especially their goalie Tuuka Rask...They just look too strong right now...

Finally, people left, kids got to sleep, and a boozy Mrs. Beeze was feeling frisky...Ahhhh, it was all worth it!

Saturday morning Little Beeze and I went to the field for a two hour practice with our team...It stretched into almost 3 hours as I worked a little more with kids on their hitting, so they all wanted a turn...Then we had to clean up, and rush to a birthday party foe one of his classmates...We got home, and I just wanted to sleep...I took a nap for an hour, until Molly woke me up...We played a bit, then I started dinner...Totally forgetting the Belmont Stakes was about to take off...My oldest daughter reminded me...We rushed to the TV just in time to see the start...We did bet on this one, but I would have put my money on Revolutionary...I would have lost, as he came in 5th...It was 15-1 Palace Malice who won...Preakness winner, Oxbow finished second, and Derby winner, Orb came from the back of the pack to finish third...

Sunday was all about the kids...My wife took our oldest to see Raiders of the Lost Ark on the big screen...There is a local theater doing big time 80's movies every weekend, and that was one of the wife's favorites...I took Molls, and the boy to one of our favorite parks...They had a blast, as usual...

Loves her swings....

She also loves digging in the sand, that was a little damp...

Later on at home she found an ant hill in a crack in the sidewalk...Her brother dumped water on them, wanting to prevent them from getting in our house...After he went inside, she kept taking little cups of sand from her sand table, and was "Feeding them"...Here she is running back from "feeding them"...

Running...

Running....

And running....I need to find a way to bottle up that energy and store it...For myself, so I can keep up with these kids...This week will be crazy again...Both kids have 2 games and one practice...My oldest is also at Honor Band for a few hours Monday through Saturday mornings, with a concert Saturday night...The wife and I are going to see Bill Burr Friday night...And I'll be working Sunday, besides my Mon-Fri...So if anyone wants to cover for me next Monday, just let me know, I may be feeling lazy...

I know this is light on sports, but I'm kind of, totally wrapped up in my kids...Here's a couple quick local stories...Indians closer, Chris Perez and his wife got busted for having weed mailed to their home, in their dogs name...Are you surprised...I'm not...The guy looks like he'd be up for a party...And his now deleted Twitter account showed he was often a dope! You are what you smoke?

Browns WR, Josh Gordon got suspended for breaking the NFL drug policy...It should be interesting to see how this plays out, since Gordon is saying he failed the test because of a Codeine cough syrup he was prescribed when he had Strep...If his story is true, the NFL is going way too far...If his story is bullshit, I won't be surprised...Honestly, pro athletes being dopes, never surprises me anymore...

Have a week....

Monday Moaning

Sorry for posting so late...As some may know, blogger was down for a large number of random people, but it looks like it's back up and working now...So here we go...

The above picture shows how I was feeling Sunday after too much Dortmunder...I was afraid I would feel the same today...For another reason...Today was 1st ultrasound day, and I've been having an uneasy feeling that there may be twins growing inside my wife...Luckily there is only one child in there, and everything looks normal they say...You know, as normal as an alien life form growing inside your wife can look...

Now, let's get to some sports...

This past week I planned on posting on a couple topics, but I got side tracked by Jim Joyce being a dolt! Then of course Bud Selig was his typical self, and unwilling to do the right thing...I've gone off on this topic on a few other blogs in their comment section, so I'll try to stop beating this dead horse...At least until I get pissed at baseball again...

Speaking of dead horses...Okay so no horses died at the Belmont Stakes Saturday, but I wouldn't have been broken up if the ones in my losing trifecta, ended up at the glue factory...The winning horse was Drosselmeyer...Both the Derby winner, Super Saver, and Preakness winner, Lookin At Lucky, were not in the race...Ice Box and First Dude were the favorites...Ice Box shit the bed...First Dude, and his stupid name finished 3rd, and Fly Down, who I had a few bucks on, came in second...The Belmont didn't have much hype, and wasn't a thrilling race, with the exception of the final stretch...

In other news, Brad Pitt has joined the board of directors for a U.S bid to get the World Cup in either 2018 or 2022...Let me first start by saying...WHO CARES! This is America...If you play soccer as a kid, some high school coach will convert you to a sport that people in this country actually care about...Second, Brad, why don't you and that big-lipped, gash wife of yours, go adopt another kid, from another country, hire a couple more nannies to take care of it, so you two can get back to bad movies...(yes, I know he's had a few good ones, but I chalk that up to the writer and director!)

For the record, no matter how much ESPN want to hype this World Cup crap...I'm not watching...I'd rather head down to Sully's and watch the paint dry!

Now to more important shit...Sunday night the Chicago Blackhawks took a 3-2 series lead over the Flyers...I hope they can finish Philly off...The Flyers have shown some serious grit throughout the playoffs...Also, Niemi, the Chicago goalie...Holy shit does that kid have some holes in his game...He's often out of position, and spends more time on his knees then a $20 hooker! No matter which teams wins the Cup this year, the winning goalie my be the worst to win the Cup...Which I guess says a lot about the talent and depth on both teams...

But I have to say it has been an exciting and entertaining Stanley Cup Final...I hate to give the Flyers any credit...I can't stand that prick Pronger, never have...And I think I have made my feeling known about Philly over the years...But in case you don't remember, or this is your first time reading me...When it comes to Philadelphia, my feelings are similar to Bill Burr's...

In the NBA Finals, the Celtics evened up the series at 1 game each...Holy shit Ray Allen was one fire in the first half, wit 27 points..He finished with 32...I was paying more attention to the hockey of course...Now the series goes back to Boston for 3 games...I hope the Celtics take all 3, but I expect them to have win it in LA...

Last week there was a lot of talk about LeBron James staying in Cleveland...Him saying Cleveland is the front runner...Talk of Chef Michael Symon offering to cook dinner LeBron and friends and family once a month if he stays...First, that's just silly! Second, Symon isn't even the best chef in Cleveland...He's an overrated douche!

Now as for "the King" staying in Cleveland...Well I know the Cavs hope so...I'm sure LeBron is the main reason for Mike Brown and Danny Ferry being out of work...But I doubt that, and chef Symon's famous mac-n-cheese are enough to keep him in the Cleve...

Last week I shared some of my favorite tweets from the week on twitter...This week I'm going share just one twitter account...All the tweets are basically the same...But some one taunting BP like this cracks me up...

Spill_Updates

Since I'm on the oil spill topic, here's a link to a site that puts the spill in an interesting perspective...

http://www.ifitwasmyhome.com/

Now, before I leave, I have a question to ask...Which is worse? Waking one of your children by celebrating a 13th inning walk off home run while playing MLB The Show...Or...From bumping uglies with the wife?

There's nothing like your 8 year old daughter walking in on you and saying, "Excuse me, I can't sleep." The next day she told my wife, "I thought I had a dream that you were riding daddy like a horsey?" No, that was no dream, and thank you for killing the mood!

I get my T-Ball team and first practice Monday...We'll see how that goes!

Have a great week...

Later, The Beeze.

This Battle was for the Birds!

The Belmont Stakes came down to an exciting finish...Of course it did...Mine That Bird (6-5 favorite) was in it...And jockey Calvin Borel was on his back, going for a personal triple crown...

Borel used his traditional Mine That Bird strategy...Hanging at the back of the pack and letting his horse creep up on the field...Then turn on the jets and blow them away...But today he was in for a battle...

Dunkirk held the lead for a large portion of the race...Which I didn't like...I had money on Dunkirk and didn't want to see him run out of gas trying to set the pace...

Just as Borel was making his move Charitable Man was making his...Charitable Man who was undefeated at Belmont had Mrs. Beeze money on him...The three horses...Dunkirk, Mine That Bird, and Charitable Man all were going full tilt down the stretch...All three jockeys were trying to get everything out of there horses...

Then...Almost out of nowhere...coming up the outside is Summer Bird (11-1)ridden by Kent Desormeaux...Summer Bird began pushing the three leaders...Charitable Man who got a slight bump from Dunkirk ran out of steam...It was down to Dunkirk and the two Birds...The problem was Summer Bird didn't loo to be working as hard as Mine That Bird and Dunkirk...

Afterwards Borel said...."I thought I was home free, but the other horses galloped by."

What did Desormeaux say..."The colt broke like a rocket. "He absolutely dragged me around the race track. I had an armchair ride until I found some room. I found room."

How they finished...

Summer Bird...
Dunkirk...(My pick)
Mine That Bird...(My daughter's pick)
Charitable Man...(Mrs. Beeze's pick)
Luv Gov...
Flying Private...
Brave Victory...
Mr. Hot Stuff...
Chocolate Candy...(My son's pick)

I guess the Beeze family better find another way to make a quick buck!
