Well, it's been awhile since we did this....

Have you seen "The Mandalorian?"  I gotta say, I was pretty annoyed when I found out about the new Disney+ streaming service...You know Disney, always doing whatever they can to make another buck...But being a Star Wars fan, and after seeing the trailer for "The Madalorian" I knew we had to get it...The kids are excited about being able to see classic Disney shows and then you have all the Marvel bullshit and all the Pixar stuff, so it's cool....But a Star Wars series that takes place 5 years after "Return of the Jedi" about a Manadolrian bounty hunter, that has a western vibe to it...I'm all in...

And it's so fucking Disney that they release it right before Christmas and boom,

Enough of that...I need to have a few words with Cleveland Browns fans...Everyone surely has seen what happened last Monday night at the end of the Browns/Steelers game....

I was going to put the video in, but the NFL keeps blocking it with their copyright bullshit....But I know you saw that shit...

I'll start by saying I hate the Steelers and living in PA makes me hate them more...Listen Browns fans...I get it, Rudolph was fighting too...You say he started it, but if you watched the video without your shit stained colored glasses, you'd see Garrett brought Rudolph down to the ground, well after he released the ball, and unnecessarily...So, he was salty...Then you say Rudolph kicked him in the balls...No he fucking didn't, he was getting bounced around on the ground by a guy bigger and stronger than him...He didn't kick, his body was being rag-dolled...

But no matter what happened, You don't bash a guy in the head with his helmet after you rip it off his head...Seriously, if you can't be on-board with that simple logic, you really, truly are a fucking asshole...There aren't many lines in football, but we should all agree that's the line...Drop the helmet and punch him in the mouth...Everyone would have been fine with that...

But wait, there's more....Now you dolts have started a petition to have Myles Garrett reinstated...You really think he shouldn't have been suspended? You really are fucking dummies...I have many friends that are Browns fans...If these words bother you, UNFRIEND ME, because you're being fucking ridiculous!


Next on my shit list.....All these fucking, fucktards saying that if what happened to Rudolph would have happened to Tom Brady 'the NFL would banned Garrett for life' or "taken the Cavs title away from Cleveland" or many other idiotic statements...You people are so clueless....

The NFL suspended Tom Brady for having air leaked out of footballs...for doctoring the balls, something every QB admittedly does...Aaron Rogers over inflates his...Eli Manning wrote an article the year before about how he doctors and under inflates balls, yet the NFL only went after Brady...these posts are such idiotic, bullshit....try actually knowing some factual shit...And Brady and The Patriots took the NFL to court where the courts ruled in Brady's favor....Goodell and big guns in the NFL have no love for Tom Brady...

Now onto Peter King and some of those other talking heads who love yapping about the NFL...these fuckers who talked about how what happened with Garrett and Rudolph has them thinking twice about letting their kids play football...

Did these idiots even watch the game...As fucked up and horrible as that incident was, it was only third worst hit to the head in that football game...For Christ's sake there was a guy wobbling off the field with blood rolling out of his ear...That shit didn't have you thinking, 'honey, lets not let junior sign-up for football, he may end up with permanent brain damage'?

As for my readers from way back, as I said, it's been awhile since posting one of these...And I always kept you up on the fam...The youngest is a 3rd grader...Our oldest is a senior in high school, while the boy always known as Little Beeze is a Freshman, both plugging their way through high school in this twisted age where everything is done through smart phones...A world run on "Social Media" but the people have less and less social skills....I love technology, but it's kinda fucking us and I find myself reminiscing of a simpler time....Like the 90's...Who would have thought that?

The Browns Circle of Suck Continues

When it comes to the Cleveland Browns, I am rarely shocked...But following their loss Sunday to the Steelers, rumors started swirling that head coach, Rob Chudzinski would be fired...What...Yeah, the team sucks, but it's only his first year as head coach...It's bad enough that this is the third or fourth time that his role in the organization is going to be terminated, but one year?  And yes, within hours, the Browns released a statement saying that they actually did shit-can Chud...

One year as the head coach, with a team who's #3 QB was their best QB, until he destroyed his knee...One year, where the front office gave up on last year's #1 pick and traded him away early in the season...Okay, dude (Richardson) didn't do shit for the Colts, but it's still weird...So, no QB, no running game...Every back on this team was picked up off the scrap heap...One good WR, one good TE, and a couple good O-linemen...A defense that played well, for 3 quarters each week, but when you're out there all day carrying the whole team, you're gonna wear down...

That's what the Browns Logo should be...That's what they gave Chud to work with...A steaming pile shit...

An old friend of mine summed up this situation on Facebook really well...

"The Browns basically gave Chud a typewriter and fired him for not being able to send emails with it."

I gave up my Browns fandom a couple years ago...I'm out...I don't by the gear, I take my kids ice skating during the games...I waste no time, and no money on the NFL's most consistent product...Consistently bad product that is...Clevelander's I suggest you do the same...This organization is the laughingstock of the NFL...

I wish there was another city out there, that wanted to take Browns away again!

For  the last few years I have been a very vocal critic of the Cleveland Browns...Especially when that fat walrus Mike Holmgren was here...Besides that I have also been a very vocal critic of the Cleveland sports fan, especially Browns fans...In April I signed my fandom over to the Seattle Seahawks in a two year deal...Hey, players leave, coaches leave...As we saw here in the Cleve, teams leave too...So why the hell should we all be so damn loyal....

Guess who is smiling today...Yep, this fucking guy!  When news broke yesterday evening that the Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Colts, I was slightly shocked...Then I laughed...This is the guy that was a no doubt about it top 4 pick...The Browns moved up to take him 3rd overall...Two years ago...Dude was going into his second year, and some how he doesn't fit into these ass-hats future plans...He now joins second year, young stud QB Andrew Luck in the Colts backfield...Clearly the Colts know how to rebuild on the fly!

The Browns front office and coaching staff can say what they want, but it's bullshit...They have given up on this season after two weeks...QB Brandon Weeden is hurt...He can't go this week...SO what do they do...They aren't starting #2 QB Jason Campbell...They're going to start the local guy, 3rd stringer, Brian Hoyer...Not sure how that makes sense, other than saying, we are tanking this fucking season...No offense Hoyer!

I have repeatedly scream at Browns fans for wasting their money on this franchise...You wouldn't keep going to the same restaurant if the food was awful...You wouldn't keep going to the same mechanic if your car kept coming out more fucked up...You just don't keep dumping your money into a bad product...It's common sense...And most people agree, except when it comes to their shitty sports teams...It's time to listen to me Cleveland...Don't put anymore money in this criminal fuck, owners pocket...

Many media members, local and national, keep telling Cleveland fans to "Have faith," and that "This trade will be good for both teams down the road."  NO...No it won't...It just fucking won't...This isn't a bitching Clevelander feeling bad about our station in life...This is me...And this is a fact, this trade won't be good for the Browns...It is fact, backed up by years of proof....Since 1999 this franchise has been run by idiot owners, stupid GM's, and bad coaches....They all come in with a new plan...Start over, making it their own, and fired before any positive results appear...Why would this group of dolts with no proven, positive track record be any different?  It won't be! 

So the Browns go in the shitter...Draft one of the elite QB's that will come out next year...Then what? His career will be done in 4-5 years, because the building blocks of Alex Mack and Joe Thomas will be on the decline of their careers before these dolts sure up the rest of the offensive line...So star QB will have 3 season ending injuries by week 8 in each of his first 3 seasons...He'll be busted up, and gun-shy...The team will give up on him, trade their best talent for draft picks and rebuild again....It's a horrible cycle of suck....

If the NFL cared at all about the fans of Cleveland, they would just disband the Browns...End it...ESPN Classic can still show "The Drive" and "The Fumble"...Fucking glory days!  NFL Network can break out the old NFL films stuff, showing people how the pre-Super Bowl era Browns were one the greatest teams in the history of sports...But this shit that Cleveland has tolerated since 1999 needs to just go away...Go the fuck away!

Cleveland, I'm not lying to you...I was born and raised here...lived here my whole life....Your life will be better if you do what I did, and turn your back on the Cleveland Browns...Make them earn your money, respect, and love...Just don't give it away like a slut...Oh, and by the way, the Indians will finish this season with a winning record, and are in a tight battle for a playoff spot, and you're missing it, because all you care about is a shitty football team that has done nothing but take a big steaming dump on your chest!

A Rare View from Cleveland

Wednesday night news broke that Art Modell was gravely ill...I had posted on Facebook when the news broke, "Art Modell is "gravely ill" is the lead local news story...How many Clevelanders first response was a slight grin?"

By morning he was dead...Through the night, and all day Thursday, there were plenty of people admitting to being happy Modell had died...Even those who don't wish death on people, were still glad he had died...Clevelanders take what happened to their Browns very personally...And that's fine...I know I was pissed when Modell moved the Browns to Baltimore...But as time has gone on, and I looked at the whole picture, I don't have that same hate for Art Modell, that most Clevelanders do...Yep, you're about to witness a guy from Cleveland, defend Art Modell's legacy...

Back in the day, The Cleveland Indians sucked...But their owner knew how Cleveland loves it's sports teams...They also knew that city leaders were tired of the "Mistake by the Lake" jokes...So for a couple years, Dick Jacobs kept threatening to move the Indians...The City decided to give Jacobs what he wanted...His own stadium...Completely funded by the public...All Jacobs paid for was the sign that put his name on the place...

The City officials also thought this would be even better if they could get the Cavs to move back to downtown Cleveland, instead of playing in the sticks of Richfield...So they build Gordon Gund's Cavaliers a new arena right next to Jacobs field...Again, Gund, that blind bastard, only paid to put his name on the place...The city was all a buzz about what was dubbed, "The Gateway District"...This shit was going to bring us back!

Modell, who's Browns always sold out the 70,000 plus Municipal Stadium, waited patiently...He had just lost his tenant, the Indians...The Stadium was old, and surely the City would take care of their number one draw...But they didn't...Eventually Modell had to go to the mayor...He never went to the media like Jacobs, and made repeated threats to move...The city officials made it clear that there was no way they could afford to give him a sweet deal, and new home, like they did for the Indians and Cavaliers...Modell, was losing money...No one in Cleveland fought for him or the Browns...He was in debt,and got an offer from football starved Baltimore...We always hear about sports being a business...Well, Modell made the smart business move, and took HIS team to Baltimore...

In 1995 Modell told The Wall Street Journal, "The reason I'm taking so much heat now is every politician is covering his backside for failing to do anything at all. They took me for granted."

Yes they did...It wasn't until news broke that Modell was moving the team to Baltimore, that people finally took action...All the sudden the fans spoke up...Suddenly elected officials were trying to do something...Too little, too late...All this time fans have been pissed at Modell...They've had nothing but hate for him, when really they should have taken that out the mayor, councilmen, and the media, who cried to save the Indians, but didn't say anything about taking care of the Browns until they were already packing up...

And while Art is hated in Cleveland, he deserves the praise he is getting from around the country...He is one of the few key people, who made the NFL what it is today...He Pushed for the NFL/AFL merger, and he and Pete Rozelle were the visionaries that saw that TV was where Football had to go...Modell almost single-handedly strong armed his fellow owners into the first TV contract...Letting them know, that if they really wanted to make the money that they dreamed of, that TV was going to get them there...And then later, it was Modell, who strong armed the Networks into ponying up the BIG money, to put the NFL on their airwaves...You can also thank Art for Monday Night Football....

There are mountains of NFL history that couldn't have been written had it not been for Art Modell...The man belongs in the Hall of Fame...And Cleveland, he also deserves some respect for the countless acts of charity he contributed to during his life in here...

After much talk about the NFL having Modell Honored with a moment of silence before this Sunday's games, The Modell family has asked The Cleveland Browns to not pay him any Honor...The Browns were planning to keep it short, knowing the fan reaction would be bad...This takes any worry off the Browns...But it bothers me that pretty much everyone in the world knows that, a moment of silence to pay respect to one of the men that built the NFL into the monster it is, would be greeted in Browns Stadium with a chorus of boooo's...

This may be odd for a sports blogger to write...But it's just a football team people...There is really so much more to life, then to carry that kind of hate around for all these years.
