Straight From the Little Beeze's Mouth

I realized today that my Monday Moaning post didn't include anything about the Little Beeze...When this happens, I hear about it...The little guy has gotten a bit of a following...So before I put him to bed tonight, I told him I was going to do a blog for him...I asked him what he wanted in it...Any pictures, or videos, or songs...Whatever he picked...That's why this post opened with a shark jumping out of the water...As I wrote in my vacation posts, Little Beeze is really into sharks...He got his fourth toy shark yesterday in a dollar bin...He loves having those sharks eat stuff...

My parents gave him a bunch of my old G.I.Joes and he's broken them apart, pretending the sharks are eating them...He loves to have their legs dangling from a sharks mouth...Should we be worried? Maybe I should get him a toy seal....

In other Little Beeze news, we've been trying to get his mouth under control...Little dude is a swearing machine, and the following video is not helping, but it's one of his favorites, and he wanted it in...

The best part is he has can recite it almost word for word, and he does the accent perfectly...The wife gets mad every time I let him watch it, because he walks around the house just repeating parts of it...

He's also excited about his little sister that's due in December...He loves babies, and he got a kick out of this one on AFV...

That little kid looks like he has some good form...

Lastly, he picked a song...I've corrupted my children's musical taste from day one...It started with headphones on my wife's belly during all the pregnancies...My kids have heard everything from John Coltrane, to The Who, to Van Halen, to Counting Crows...And that's what he picked...His favorite Counting Crows song is "Holiday in Spain", mainly for the line, "Hop on my choo choo, I'll be your engine driver in a bunny suit. You can dress me up in pink and white, we may be just a little fuzzy 'bout later tonight." And I wonder why he's a little pervert!

Now I have to remember to pound it into his head on the way to school tomorrow, 'Don't repeat the lizard video at school!'

Later, The Beeze.

Monday Moaning

Ahhh, another Monday is here...I have to be honest, I don't have a lot on my mind other than the usual...SEX, SEX, SEX! I got a lot out there last week, but I'll see what I can muster up...

One of the blogs I posted last week was about
JIM_BROWN_ACTING_LIKE_A_DOUCHE... Well now, I guess this week I'll write about Cleveland Browns fans being douches...

Browns fans are pissed because the "Muni Lot", Muni Lot= Municipal Parking Lot, where fans tailgate before games, is raising the price from $15 to $20...Hey, gang, sorry the city needs money, and you f**kers park there all day and night and trash the place...Pony up the extra 5 bucks...

The other thing they're pissed about is, the City (remember Municipal parking lot) has decided to not allow tailgaters in until 7:00AM...The old time was 4:00AM...

What, 7:00AM doesn't give you people enough time to get hammered before the game...Did you people ever think that maybe your a problem...7:00AM gives you 6 hours before a 1:00PM kickoff...9 hours before 4:00PM kickoff...I think that's plenty of time to pound beers, eat brats, throw the ball around, pound beers, talk shit with the opposing teams fans, puke on some ones shoes, pound beers, and start a fight...Did you people ever think the city is tire of cleaning up your mess...Tired of the horse shit they deal with from drunken fans...Tired of the complaints about the drunken fans...

Listen, this isn't me bitching about people drinking...I love drinking...I'm drinking a Dortmunder right now, as I write this nonsense...The thing is, my whole life, I've heard what great fans Clevelanders are...Especially Browns fans...Let's be honest...Cleveland fans only come out for the Indians and Cavs when they are winning...Tickets are too expensive, and they play too many games for the average Clevelander to turnout night after night...Clevelanders have always turned out for the Browns...But just showing up doesn't make you a great fan...

What Browns fans should really be pissed about? They should be pissed that tailgating has become their biggest highlight of going to the game...They should be pissed that the team they have stood behind forever, continues to put piece of shit product out on the field...Their team moved away, and they fought for the name and the history...They fought to get a new team and new stadium...They got it all, and since they got all in 1999, they have shown up to watch some of the worst Football you can imagine...They have seen 5 different Head Coaches, and 4 different GM's, and they have all produced a steaming pile of shit...They should be pissed that they went from being great fans, to being blind sheep...

Moving on...Let's checkout this week's top tweets...

JimNorton
"Gov Patterson in trouble for taking free World Series tickets. Hey, YOU'RE BLIND YOU ASSHOLE, LISTEN TO IT ON THE RADIO!"

This next one doesn't say anything great, it's all about the link...

wwtdd
"bad Jessica Alba upskirt pics are still better than everyone elses good ones. http://bit.ly/8XN3eX"

andylevy
"Paris Hilton arrested for cocaine possession. Has the whole world gone normal?"

And this guy sums up the Red Sox season...

DaddyFiles
"This Sox season has been like dating a virgin. You're always close but she won't quite let you in & your balls constantly hurt in the end."

Now it's time for some new music...I found this via facebook...

With that all said, I apologize if I'm cutting it short this week, but I gotta go...I can't stop thinking about my kids' ASSistant Principle...Time for self abuse...

I Can't Believe It's Been 20 Years

There are very few moments that I will admit to crying...And there are very few moments when I openly cried in front of my parents and brothers...August 27th, 1990 was one of those days...When I heard the news that Stevie Ray Vaughan had died, I lost it...Music was a big thing in our house, and I couldn't get enough great guitar playing...SRV has always been in my top 5...He was simply amazing...

There was only one person who could play Hendrix tunes like that and do them justice, and that was SRV...

His music still lives on, but his presence in the music world is greatly missed...

Everything Back to Normal...Nobody Wants to Watch the Nationals Again

It may sound cold, but am I wrong...The number one reason to watch the Washington Nationals is Stephen Strasburg, and now that he won't be pitching for at least 12-18 months...What other reason is there?

That's right, the rookie sensation has a tear in his right elbow, and it looks like he'll need to have "
TOMMY_JOHN_SURGERY" Some pitchers come back with no problem...Some lose velocity...For some it takes two years to get back in form...How long it will take Strasburg, nobody knows...What I do know is, that excitement around the Nationals that got ramped up a couple months ago when they brought the kid up to the big leagues, is gone...

In his brief time in the majors, Strasburg made 12 starts, pitching 68 innings, recording 92 strikeouts, a 2.91 ERA, and a 5-3 record...His 92 strikeouts leads the Nationals staff...

When the Nats signed Strasburg to his $15 million deal, it was for 4 years...Doesn't look like he's gonna spend much of that time pitching...Shit, and I thought it was tough being a fan in Cleveland.

Is Jim Brown Acting Like a Child?

If you ask me, I'll say yes...If you don't know what I'm talking, I'll explain...The Cleveland Browns are adding a "Ring of Honor" this year, to their horrible stadium...Seriously, that place blows! Before their opener they will be having a ceremony to induct their first class in the "Ring of Honor." All Browns Hall of Famers will be inducted...But Jim Brown has made it know, that he probably won't be there because of his, now soured relationship with the organization...Many fans are upset with Browns owner, Randy Lerner, and want him to fix this...NOT ME!

Why did this relationship go bad? Because Brown had held the title of "Executive Advisor" for a number of years, but when Lerner hired Mike Holmgren to be the team's President, Holmgen did what he felt needed to be done to try and turn the organization around...Brown was removed from his position...Out of respect and courtesy, he was offered another, more meaningless position in the front office, and refused it...Now he's pouting, and feeling slighted...Sorry Jim, but the only people who should feel slighted are the Browns fans that have seen nothing but crap from this organization since 1999...

Brown is well known for being one of the greatest running backs in football history...Maybe even the greatest...He also did some acting...How can we forget him in "The Dirty Dozen"? Brown is also well known for smacking around a woman or two in his day, because he's so classy...But many people ignore that because of his social activism, and working with gang members, to try and stop them from being dolts...Possibly dead dolts...But you know what Jim Brown isn't well known for? Making smart, and intelligent football decisions in the front office...How many have you heard of? I'll tell ya...NONE! Scoreboard Jim...Holmgren and the staff he has put together have a much better track record when it comes to front office moves...If I was Randy Lerner, I'd rather have Holmgren advising me, instead of Brown! Lerner may have actually made a smart move...

So yes, Jim Brown is acting like a child...If he doesn't show up for the ceremony, so what? I don't care about all that garbage...But many of his fans want him there, and honestly, that should be enough of a reason for Brown to be there...It isn't about the teams love for these great players, it's about the fans love for them, and he should give a little back.

The Beeze's Hump Day Hits (Back to School Edition)

Well The kids started school today...Then Friday my son doesn't have school, he just has some testing they were suppose to do a month ago, but they screwed up, so all the kindergartners are losing a day for an 45 minutes of one on one time with their teacher...I don't know...Last night we had an open house where we met the teachers and blah, blah, blah...Then after everyone was asleep last night, I had some alone time to think about violating the assistant principle, who looks something like this...

GO GET HER LITTLE BEEZE!

Moving on...I've noticed a trend lately, on a number of blogs I've read...People when writing about writing, are referring to it as dribble...You are all dolts! The word is DRIVEL...You dribble a Basketball...The crap you write is DRIVEL! WTF, here comes some more drivel...

Did you hear the one about Red Sox Announcer Jerry Remy's Kid?
THIS one screams of class!

Word is That the NHL is going to, or already has killed the New Jersey Devils second offer to Ilya Kovalchuk...The terms haven't been released, at least last time I checked, and nothing was actually signed...Maybe it's time for the Devils to give up...They don't have the cap space for the money this egomaniac wants...Most teams don't...He wants to be the highest paid player, and he doesn't deserve it...I expect they'll be seeing him in the KHL this season...F*ck him! I wouldn't want him on my team...So he was a superstar on some awful teams in Atlanta...Way to go! He didn't give the Devils the push in the Playoffs they needed...And he rarely plays solid defense...Him, his agent, and multiple GM's have overrated him, and I love that he's not getting the insane contract he wants...

Now it's time to get to the important stuff...This is the back to school edition, but if you're sitting there home schooling your kid, you may not want to scroll any further if they are sitting next to you...

So, on this fine Hump Day, which of these teachers are you most hot for...

Where Is Beverly Potts

(This is a re-post, of something I wrote last year, and I probably will continue to do so, as long as I keep blogging.)

Friday August 24th 1951, 10 year old Beverly Potts vanished from her Cleveland neighborhood...Never to be seen again...The case is still open...And even though it has nothing to do with me...It haunts me...

She had disappeared after attending a showagon at Halloran Park....The showagon was a group of singers dancers, and other performers, that went from park to park near the end of Summer...Halloran Park was at the corner of Beverly's street, Linnet and 117th...

Beverly had gone there with her best friend and next door neighbor, Patsy Swing...Beverly was told she stay for the whole show...Patsy had to be home by dark...When it got close to 9:00 PM...Patsy left...She tried to get Beverly to come with her...But Beverly wanted to stay...And did...

Once it was 10:00 PM, Beverly's parents, and older sister became worried...Her father and sister went to the park to look for her...They came back with no signs of Beverly...They checked again...Her mother called the police...Later, after the police hadn't shown up...Her sister called the police again...It was now after midnight...The search was on...Her father Robert searched the neighborhood...Neighbors began to realize something was wrong...And started searching also...

By all accounts, Beverly was extremely shy...Especially around boys, and men...Even men she knew...So the thought that she would have left willingly with some one was highly doubted...Yet no one at the park had noticed any type of struggle, or anything alarming...It's estimated that there was 1500 people there...

Then Saturday morning came...No sign of Beverly...The neighborhood was in shock...The Cleveland police was working non-stop, lead by Chief of Detectives, James E. McArthur...Every lead...I stress every, was checked out...Hot lines were setup...All three Cleveland papers were covering the story, non-stop...

One of the scariest things to me, is the number of stories that came out...A woman down the block from the Potts house hearing a girl scream "I want to go home!" as a car sped by...A man seeing a young girl in a car with an older man...And then seeing that car in a field a short time later, about a mile or so away...The man beating the girl...A cab driver picking up a suspicious looking man and a young girl on 117th, and taking them to the bus station...These are just a few...You can't be sure what is true, and what isn't...But if any of them are true, why the hell didn't some one do something, or speak up sooner...

There was also many reports of people seeing a particular type of car...With a creepy looking person...Some accounts saying two people...Trolling around the park during the Showagon...

It's all so sketchy...Especially almost 60 years later...Yet...Even today...If a tip comes in...It's checked out...It's still an open case...Nothing has ever been found...

"The earth might as well have opened up and swallowed the child. She has vanished into nothing." -Ben R. Tidyman in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, 9-4-'51

The Potts family was investigated...Neighbors interviewed...Classmates interviewed...Every know sex offender questioned...I was surprised to read how well the police kept tabs on sex offenders back then...Over the years, there have been many promising tips, that have just never panned out..

In 2001 letters were received at the Cleveland Plain Dealer...A dying man confessing to the disappearance, molestation, and murder of Beverly...On the 50th anniversary of the disappearance, he was going to turn himself in at Halloran Park...Then he sent another letter, just weeks before...Saying he has become to sick, and was being put into a nursing home...The Police checked everything and anything they could...The man was never found....Beverly has never been found...No trace of her has ever been found...

It's been said, that after Beverly's disappearance, Her mother Elizabeth, "seemed to be crying softly virtually all the time." I can only imagine. Elizabeth Potts died 5 years later, in 1956...

I said at the beginning that this story haunts me...I'm not sure why...I do know that it bothers me even more, now that I have kids of my own...My father grew up at Halloran Park...It was just steps from his childhood home...He knew of Beverly Potts...He's a few years older then her...She was friends with my aunt...

I had spent plenty of time at Halloran Park when I was kid...We'd walk up there when we were visiting my grandfather...I didn't find out about the Beverly Potts story until I was in high school...Although I didn't think much of it...But I always felt uneasy at the park after that...I took my wife there once...It was our first date that didn't start in a bar after work...We went ice skating there...But I still felt strange...I drive past Halloran everyday...And I think about what may have happened to that little girl...

I always think about how much better things were in our society, when i was kid...I knew there were kid touchers, and evil people...I was prepared for it...But it didn't seem to be too bad...Then I would think about when my parents were growing up, and how much better a time it was in the world...There couldn't be this much bad sh!t...Then I learned about Beverly Potts...And her story leads you to so many more horrible stories that happened back then...Clearly, this world has always been f**ked up....

I guess all we can do is prepare our children for the bad as best we can...While not forgetting to show them the good...

Many times you hear questions like, 'If you could ask God one question...What would it be?' Or some silly sh!t like that...I'd ask, WHERE'S BEVERLY POTTS?

Not that it would do any good for her family...They're all gone...Maybe it's just my Catholic upbringing that just wants that poor child's soul to finally rest peacefully.

For more on Beverly Potts case...There is a great book called "The Twilight Of Innocence" by James Jessen Badal.

Monday Moaning

That's me in my youth...And not much has changed over the years...Hell half my blogs I scribble out while making a deposit at the Brown Berry Bank...So why stop now!?!

I'm gonna start this week off with a little NFL talk...This afternoon I had the radio on and was listening to ESPN, Freddie Coleman was on the air...he was bouncing around the NFL and talking to different beat reporters...He got on the topic of the Vikings, with Dawn Mitchell...After getting some Favre talk out of the way, they moved to the Offensive line...She was talking about Center John Sullivan, who had bounded with Favre last year, and how it was important for them to get reps together, and to get Sullivan back from some injuries to solidify the line...She referred to him as "A really smart, Ivy League, Notre Dame guy." Umm Dawn, You're an idiot! John Sullivan is not an "Ivy League" guy, but he is a Notre Dame guy...You see stupid, Notre Dame is not the Ivy League...It's a great school, but not the Ivy League...You make me sad Dawn...I expected more from a Boston College grad!

Speaking of Favre...Boy he took one hit in Sunday's game, and they got him the hell out of there...I loved that the 49ers went all up in him!

I watched the first half of the Browns game Saturday night...Apparently, 37 year old QB Jake Delhomme doesn't know how to play in the rain...That ass-hat couldn't hang onto a snap...Nothing says pre-season football like 5 fumbles, and 3 lost...He looked better passing the ball this week...Colt McCoy saw hardly any time, and I'm still wondering why they drafted him, and gave him a nice signing bonus...'Cause right now, he looks like the 4th string QB...

Moving onto Baseball...Lou Piniella stepped down Sunday as manager of the Chicago Cubs...While I've always thought he was overrated, I respect him for this move...He's leaving for family reasons, mainly, his mother is, and has been seriously ill, and he wants to be there for her...We often hear athletes, and coaches talk about how important family is, and there are more important things then the games they play...It's refreshing to see some one actually living up to those words...

With that said, the talk of who will take over for the Cubs next season is heating up...Honestly, there are only two real options...

1. Cubs Hall of Famer, Ryne Sandberg, who has been working his way up the ranks as a manager...He started at the bottom, and is in Triple-A now, with a team that may make the post season...It seems like he's earned it, and the fans would love it...

2. Yankees manager, Joe Girardi...His contract is up after this year...A former Cubs catcher, grew up in Peoria Ill. and his wife is from the Chicago area...If the Yankees don't show him the love, the Cubs may jump at him, and his track-record of winning...

It should be an interesting off-season for the Cubs...

Moving on, late Saturday night I watched, "Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage" ...I've always been a huge Rush fan, and it was great to see their story put out there for the masses...It was also cool seeing how many musicians they influenced, and that got what they were doing...Watching this just fueled my hatred for the stupid "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame"...How are these guys not in there...Hell Cleveland radio helped launch them! F*cking place is a joke!

In case you missed the second edition of my College Football Preview,
HERE_IT_IS...

Over the last week, I've been watching the fall of the Sporting News Blogging Community...While I and others saw it coming, some didn't, and by what they've been posting, they're taking it very hard, and now Sporting News is getting a lot of bad press on their own site...Makes me wonder what those suits are thinking!

With that, I'm off to bed, but I'll leave you with some James Taylor, doing some DMX

The Beeze's College Football Preview (vol.2)

She's trying to figure out where to put that ball!

B-Dub I love those Those South Carolina fans!

So last week I did VOLUME_1 This week, I'm gonna focus on some different teams, and not just the teams predicted to do well...We'll start with B-Dub's South Carolina Gamecocks...

SOUTH CAROLINA: QB Stephen Garcia was just the 6th QB under Steve Spurrier to get through the entire season without being pulled for an alternative...Freshman QB Connor Shaw has looked good, so don't expect it to happen again...

Last year the Offensive Line gave up 37 sacks, which was tied for most in the SEC...They have to improve if the 'Cocks are going to make a run at an SEC title...The South Carolina ground game has been the worst in the SEC for the last 3 years, and are looking for Freshman Marcus Lattimore to turn that around...

The Defense returns 7 starters and should be one of the top units in the SEC...If Spurrier (65) is gonna make one last run for glory, now is the time to strike, with teams like Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida all looking to have a down year...

NEBRASKA: The Cornhuskers last year in the Big-12, could be a good one...They return 9 starters on Offense, but they need to be more consistent then they were last year...QB Zac Lee is being pushed for his job by Sophomore Cody Green...

Even though the Defense lost Ndamukong Suh, it's still a deep unit at all positions...The key player on the Defense could be Nickel back Eric Hagg, who has the ability to step up and stuff the run like a Linebacker...

WASHINGTON: The Huskies return 9 offensive starters...The biggest name of the bunch is QB Jake Locker, a fifth year senior who chose to stay for one more year, and improve his craft under Coach, Steve Sarkisian...Locker has a big-time arm, and can do some serious damage with his legs...Sophomore running back Chris Polk, who rushed for over a 1,000 yards lat season, will help balance the attack...The offensive line should be a dominant unit...

All that praise for the Offense is quickly balanced out by the lack of experience on the Defense...The secondary is young, but may be the most talented group on the defense...

The next one is for my pal Steve...

SYRACUSE:
The Offense is planning to throw the ball down field more this year, while breaking in a new QB Ryan Nassib...Word is Nassib has the arm strength to do it...That said, The Orange lack depth and size at receiver...They should be able to run the ball, as the offensive line has improved, and gets a good push...But who will carry the ball? Starting tailback Delone Carter was suspended at the end of Spring practice for an off the field incident, and it's not clear if he'll be eligible for the start of the season...

Last year, the Orange defense went from last, to first in run defense in the Big East...Senior Linebackers, Doug Hogue and Derrell Smith (both former running backs) lead the fast, and attacking defense...The secondary lacks shutdown corners, and needs to find a way to cut down the passing touchdowns. (24 last season)

GEORGIA TECH: Run, run, run, and run, pass, run, run, run, run, run, pass, run, run, run, run, run, run, pass, run, run, run...Get the point...The Yellow Jackets like to run the ball, and they do it well...Head coach Paul Johnson has been running this punishing ground game forever, and he's not stopping now...Tech averaged just under 300 rushing yards per game last season...Best in the ACC, second best in the country...QB Josh Nesbitt rushed for over 1,000 yards and threw for over 1,700...He needs to improve his accuracy, to help balance the attack a bit...The main workhorse in Johnson's stable will be 6'0" 239 pound, Anthony Allen...Expect A-backs Roddy Jones and Embry Peeples to take on bigger roles in the passing game...

AL Groh has taken over the Defense, that allowed an average of 208 passing yards, and 150 on the ground, and he's brought the 3-4 with him...His goal is to get more pressure on the QB, and force turnovers...He's going to need a big year from Safety Jerrard Tarrant, who played corner last year...Tarrant is also a standout on Special Teams, returning two punts for touchdowns last season...

TCU: The Horned Frogs have 9 returning starters on Offense, lead by senior QB Andy Dalton, who is the winningest active QB in the nation...With his next victory, he'll pass Sammy Baugh as the winningest QB in school history...Yes, the Sammy Baugh! With Dalton is a very talented, and deep group of receivers and running backs, and an Offensive line that returns 4 starters...

The Defense must replace it's top two corners, but has a couple of veteran safeties to help out the young guys...The front seven is solid lead by Linebacker Tank Carder...TCU shouldn't have any trouble handling their schedule, but playing in the Mountain West will be held against them in the rankings...

Now, before I go, I can't talk College Football without some love for my Irish...This is helping me get in the mood...It's gonna be a good season...

Later, The Beeze.

I'd Like to See Tony Dungy Choke on Rex Ryan Hoagie

So Tony Dungy doesn't like that Rex Ryan swears so much...Especially on HBO's "Hard Knocks"...Dungy isn't alone...There seem to be many people who feel this way...I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning, and the topic came up...Eric Kasilius was filling in for Mike Greenberg, and he was bothered by how much Ryan swears...The he went to the mythical emails, and texts from parents who would love to let there kids watch the show, but they can't because Ryan swears too much...

Hey dolts, there's a reason why the show premieres at 10:00 PM Wednesday nights...It's not for kids! It's real life, and it's how many coaches talk...Christ I remember a coach in calling a kid a c*nt in 6th grade...Coaches swear! At least the good ones...Yep, I just said Tony Dungy isn't a good coach! Hey, maybe he is, but f*ck him...It's none of his business how another coach doe his job, and talks to his players...Remember those good teams he had in Tampa Bay, that just couldn't get over the hump...Then they brought in John Gruden and his awesome ability to swear, and what happened? F*cking Super Bowl Bitch!

Kailius tried to say this is bad for the league...It can't be any worse then the rapists, the stoners, the dog killers, the drunk drivers, and the wife beaters that still have jobs in the NFL...You know what's bad for the league, and the human race? Antonio Cromartie, who was featured in this week's "Hard Knocks" trying to name all of his children...All 8...Only 2 with the same mother...8 children, and 5 of them are 3 years old...

Okay, but Rex Ryan swearing is the problem...

Oh, and by the way, Tony Dungy, Eric Kasilius, and over sensitive parents...HBO films all week long, then edits it up into an hour long show...They show what they want...Rex Ryan has no control over how they edit their film, and what they show...And what makes the show good, is he doesn't change how he coaches, and who he is, just because some guy is following him with a camera...And he sure as hell isn't gonna change it for a bunch c*ck sucking, ball licking, ass-hat, f*ck-stains, douchebags like you!

The Beeze's Hump Day Hits

Well welcome to a special Cheerleader edition of the Hump Day Hits! My pal B-Dub was mad that I didn't mention the South Carolina Gamecocks in my first College Football Preview, so this next pic is for him...

So Cleveland's Favorite Douche did an interview, and took his shots at Cavs owner Dan Gilbert...That's fine, you two children can keep arguing in the sand box...Then when asked about Cleveland and growing up near by, "The King" said this...
"It's not far, but it is far. And Clevelanders, because they were the bigger-city kids when we were growing up, looked down on us.… So we didn't actually like Cleveland. We hated Cleveland growing up. There's a lot of people in Cleveland we still hate to this day."

Well there you have it people, for those who don't understand how he could have left, there's one reason...Never mind the clues he gave by wearing a Yankees cap to an Indians game, or a Cowboys jersey to a Browns game...He hates Cleveland and Clevelanders...Get it dummies!

That's okay, people are getting pretty sick of him too...He was just recently at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, which if you like Roller Coasters, it's the place to go...He had to hire 4 of Sandusky's finest to escort him around for the day...He's f*cking huge, and he doesn't feel safe...DOUCHE! The crowd let him have it when he played a little free-throw shooting game...DOUCHE!

He also sucked ass at a three point shooting contest...DOUCHE!

In other stories of Douchebaggery...Brett Favre is coming back...I know, f*cking shocker, right!?! All it took was a little extra cash, and a couple weeks away from camp...I hope he breaks both his legs on the first play of the season.

The next topic I was gonna leave alone, but I can't...The once great publication, best known for it's in depth coverage of Baseball, The Sporting News, which over the last few years turned into nothing more then a rough piece of toilet paper, now has revamped their website, which has been in a steady decline for a couple years...And I don't mean revamped in a good way...It looks as though what many of us saw coming is happening...They are cutting ties with the blogging community, and members can't even comment their crappy staff writers work...What the site is becoming is sad...Full of ads, videos instead of quality writing, with more ads, and links to other sites for content...Speaking of links, here's
ONE with more info on it...

When I saw this happening a song popped in my head..."Baba O' Riley" by The Who..."I don't need to fight, to prove I'm right." But I don't mind it, and I love being right...Let's see how well Pearl Jame covers it...

Now, since I did my College Football Preview last Saturday,(I'll be doing a second one this week as well) I've been looking at a lot of Cheerleaders...So for this week's big question, we're gonna go to the PAC-10...On this fine Hump Day, which set of these PAC-10 Cheerleaders would you most like to bury yourself in...

A. The USC Song Girls...

B. These beach loving gals from UCLA...

Monday Moaning

Well, it happened again...The wife and I were doing our exercises Sunday night, and our daughter was awakened by the noise again...I gotta get that kid some earplugs! At least this time she stayed in her room and waited until we were done, before she questioned what was going on...Never a dull moment here!

So pre-season Football has gotten going, and the Cleveland Browns got started with the Green Bay Packers Saturday night...The Browns won 27-24, but hey, it's only pre-season...I'm not getting a boner over this crap...Hell, I didn't even watch the game...We were at a wedding Saturday night...I'll get to that in a minute...But I looked at the numbers Sunday morning...My fears were confirmed...Colt McCoy sucks! He completed 5 of 10 passes, for 25 yards...But that's nut really fair...He completed two other passes with the Packers defense!

Over-priced veteran Jake Delohmme was 6 for 7, with 66 yards...Seneca Wallace completed 4 of 8 for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns...I guess I shouldn't worry about McCoy, because all the talk coming from the Browns staff, says he's not gonna play this year...Let me just say, Thank You! If the dolts wanted to burn another draft pick on a QB this year they should have drafted Jimmy Clausen, who looked pretty good Thursday night!

Seriously, the Browns and Quarterbacks just don't mix...Here's a list of the QB's the browns have drafted since 1999...Tim Couch, Spergon Wynn(16 picks before New England drafted Tom Brady), Luke McGowan, Brady Quinn, and Colt McCoy...That's just the guys they've drafted...Here are the other hacks that have started for the Browns...Ty Detmer, Doug Peterson, Kelly Holcomb, Trent Dilfer, Jeff Garcia, Charlie Frye, Derek Anderson, and Ken Dorsey...That's a pretty damn sad there!

Now, I'm getting all pissed...Let's move on to the wedding we were at Saturday...It had to be the slowest moving wedding, but it was Mother Nature's fault...It was scheduled to be outside, and that bitch started raining an hour before show time, so things had to get moved around...So it got the reception backed up a bit to...Which meant they were cutting into my drinking time...Hey, I may sound like a dick, but some one paid good money for me to eat and drink all night, I wasn't gonna let them down!

It was your typical wedding stuff...The Maid of honor gave a very nice toast, that made my wife cry...She cries pretty easy, but now we're mixing in all these baby hormones, so she's extra fragile...Then of course there were the dance floor douchebags...You know, white guys that think they're just the shit when they're on the dance floor...Oh, and every other Rap song that comes on, they have to high-five, 'cause that's their jam!'

Then a Country song kicked in...All the pasty gangstas left the floor, and a few of the country fans jumped out...The song was some Hillbilly nonsense, "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy." Oh you clever guys you! As I was listening to this drivel, I realized, 'Holy shit, it's Rap too...Just a redneck doing rap...Same thumping beat..Same cadence...Same guy with little ability to sing, so he talks to the beat.' Well, f*ck me! You see, I'm not a Country fan...Some is okay, but most makes me want to eat a bullet like
R_Bud_Dwyer...

I'm not a Rap fan...There's some stuff that I can handle, but you're not gonna find Jay-Z's greatest hits in my collection...Seriously, that asshole said, "Shit I made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can" REALLY F*CK-TARD! Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle and hell, even Jeter beat you at that! Anyways, back to the music...So I would guess that a good number of these people loving this "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" bullshit, are also the same people who can't stand the dumb-ass, misogynistic Rap lyrics...Hey, at least Rappers don't sugar-coat shit...They just say, 'Bitch, suck my dick!' Or something like that!

Did I just defend Rap?

But the biggest douchebag of the night, was this guy...

How is it that ass-hats like this clown land chicks like that...Seriously, when they walked in, my wife and her friend were talking about how pretty she was, and how they liked her dress...I had to confess to them, I hadn't even noticed her, because I was sucked in by his unbelievable, douchebaggery...This guy should be punched in the face repeatedly, for like, 3 days...Maybe 4...Hell, as they were leaving one guy almost did kick his ass, for no other reason, then he was a douchebag...Seems justified to me!

Sunday, the wife took our daughter shopping for school supplies, and spent $140...I shit you not...They sent home the list of supplies, and I have to ask, what are my taxes paying for, because from the looks of it, the school is only providing the teacher and the desk...Later this week I'll be taking the boy for his...His list is a bit smaller, so I may get by with just $80...

After that we did a lot of house cleaning...We've finally come to the realization that we have a baby on the way, and December will be here sooner than we think...We cleaned out our storage room, so we had room to store other shit...we worked hard in the man cave/playroom...It's about 10% man cave and 90% playroom...The Little Beeze was putting up a fight through all of this...he wanted to keep shit I wanted throw away...You know, the crap he hasn't played with in 2 years...Then he just kept playing with crap he found...We kept giving him small jobs, and a few minutes later, there he was, playing with something he hadn't seen in year...After awhile, I tapped out, and they played with their friends next door...

When it was time for bed, he was complaining and fighting about everything...I tried to talk to him, about some times when you're over-tired, (which he was)That you have a bad day...Then he broke out some of his logic, which at times is hard to argue with...He said, "I'm just having a bad day, 'cause you guys won't let me do what I want to do." So very true!

I'll Close with this song from Raine Maida and his wife Chantal Kreviazuk, inspired by being a parent...There's some chatting at the beginning, but he explains it and gets into it about 45 seconds in...And I know exactly what he's talking about...

The Beeze's College Football Preview (vol.1)

This will be the first of two pre-season College Football posts...Yeah, we all know I'm a Notre Dame fan, but I love College Football, and I've made good money over the years betting on games...I'll start with my prediction of the Top 25...Then I'll get into breaking down some of those top teams, and some teams I think you should keep eyes on...

1. Wisconsin
2. Alabama
3. Boise State
4. Texas
5. Ohio State
6. Nebraska
7. Virginia Tech
8. Florida
9. Oregon
10. Iowa
11. USC
12. Arkansas
13. TCU
14. Miami
15. Pitt
16. Oklahoma
17. Florida State
18. Georgia
19. UConn
20. Penn State
21. Georgia Tech
22. Missouri
23. Notre Dame
24. Washington
25. LSU

So let's get into this...

WISCONSIN : The Badgers Offense is looking to be one of the best in the Big 10...Returning are QB Scott Tolzien (64.3 % completion percentage)...Their top 3 tailbacks, lead by John Clay (1,517 yards and 18 TD's)...Their top 4 Wide Receivers...One of the country's top Tight End's...And 7 Offensive Linemen who have starting experience...

On the Defensive Line there will be some fresh faces, and look for Junior Defensive End J.J. Watt to have a big year...They have a strong group of Linebackers...There are a number of question marks in the secondary, but it's the run-first Big 10.

Key Games: Oct. 16th vs. Ohio State....Oct. 23 at Iowa

ALABAMA : The 'Tide returns 8 starters, including Heisman winner Mark Ingram...'Bama may have the nation's top 2 running backs with Ingram and Sophomore Trent Richardson...Look for Richardson to get more carries this year...Sr. QB Greg McElroy also returns with a veteran group of receivers...The 'Tide will have more confidence to air it out this year...Red-shirt Freshman D.J. Fluker should step into the void at Right Tackle...

The defense took many loses, but a number of Juniors and Senoirs will be ready to jump right in...It's Nick Saban and Defense...He makes it work.

BOISE STATE : The Broncos have 18 returning starters, including Junior QB Kellen Moore has Heisman potential.(last year 39 TD's and 3 INT's)...The Defense has the potential to be one of the best...They played their best in the biggest games last year, forcing 35 turnovers...Key Game: Sept. 6 Virginia Tech (in Maryland)

TEXAS : Coach Mack Brown plans on going to more of a power running/play action offense, looking to take some pressure off of So. QB Garrett Gilbert...There's many holes on the defense, but the staff is confident in there depth and recruiting.

OHIO STATE : All the talk is about QB Terrelle Pryor...It will help him that his top 2 Receivers back, 4 returning Offensive Linemen, and running backs Brandon Saine & Boom Herron...The Defense lost 5 starters, but as corner Chimdi Chekwa said, "I don't want to offend any offensive guys or anything, but we play defense at Ohio State. That's what we do and that's what we love to do. We step on the field knowing that we're going to play great defense."

There's been a lot of talk about Ohio State being ranked in the top 3, and playing for the National Championship...To me the key is this...They can't let Miami shock them in Columus on sept. 11th...Even more importantly they play at Wisconsin on Oct. 16th and at Iowa on Nov. 20...They won't win both of those!

IOWA : The Hawkeyes return Sr. QB Ricky Stanzi and his top 2 receivers...They also have 3 Sophomore running backs with experience, but have to replace 3 offensive lineman...On Defense they return 8 starters, and they have the ability to be a dominating defense...

MIAMI : The Hurricanes are loaded with talent, lead by QB Jacory Harris, but he must cut down on the mistakes...They return 8 starters on defense, with a very talented secondary, headed up by corners Brandon Harris and DeMarcus Van Dyke...They have potential to make some noise in the rankings, but they have a rough start to their schedule...After Florida A&M they're at Ohio State, at Pitt, at Clemson, then home for Florida State.

ARKANSAS : The Razorbacks return 9 starters on offense, with the key being QB Ryan Mallet.(last year 3,624 yards 152.2 QB Rating, and 16 school records)...Hey Michigan, you missing this kid yet!?! The defense last season gave up loads of yards and needs to improve...They were one of the nation's best in takeaways and in the Red Zone...They need to build on that if they want to claim the SEC.

Now how about my Beloved Irish...

NOTRE DAME : New coah Brian Kelly is switching the pro-style offense to his spread system...Luckily he has 3 outstanding offensive talents which should help the transition...RB Armando Alllen, WR Michael Floyd, and TE Kyle Rudolph...QB Dayne Crist has the physical skills to handle the system...The staff looked their talent on the defensive side of the ball and decided to go with a 3-4 scheme...After the Spring they felt good about their decision, as the defense out played the offense...Look for both DE Ethan Johnson and NT Ian Williams to have a huge season...Manti Te'o and Brian Smith will lead a deep group of Linebackers, while the secondary has 3 veteran corners in Darrin Walls, Gary Gray, and Robert Blanton...

This is the first year in awhile, where I'm more concerned about the offense instead of the defense...That said, the Irish should win at least 8 games...They have the potential to win more, since their schedule this season is pretty weak.

Let me know what you think, and tune in next weak for another edition...

The Beeze's Hump Day Hits

Back again for another round of the Hump Day Hits! Let's get right to it...

Shaq signed with the Celtics...He's looking to win his 6th title with his 6th team...I wonder if it can happen...The Celtics are pretty much the same team they were last year, just a little older, and they added age with Shaq...I have to think they aren't going to lie down for the boys in Miami...

Rumors were flying around about Brett Favre recently, and surprisingly it was about his future in Football...Or maybe not in Football...The rumors were about Favre sending VERSUS Hottie, Jenn Sterger pictures of his c0ck...One of him wearing nothing but crocs and a watch, just showing off his junk...

Hey, she's hot as hell, but damn Brett, you already had people thinking you were a douchebag, now this...I have to say, I was surprised by this story...I wouldn't think Favre would be that guy...But anymore should we be surprised by these stories?

In other goofy f*cking news, one of Justin Bieber's loving fans blasted him with a bottle of water, and it's hilarious!

In the past I've written about the plans for a Mosque to be built near "Ground Zero." If you missed it, here's a
LINK...It is the ultimate show of disrespect...Well, so far they haven't changed their minds, and it makes me nuts...This topic was being discussed on the Opie & Anthony Show...As you probably know, I'm a big fan...I totally agree with them on this topic, and greatly respect their opinions, since they live and work in New York City...Here what they had to say...

Well if you need a laugh, there's a guy in Tennessee running for Governor...At first I thought it was bullshit, but he's for real...Seriously, he's really running for Governor...How f*cked up is Tennessee!?!

Now onto the most important part of this...On this lovely Hump Day...Which of these female sports reporters would you most like to lay the wood to...

Monday Moaning

I don't know how you feel, but Katy Perry's pictures in "Rolling Stone" may be my highlight of the week! I mean, I took two weeks of vacation, then worked a double on Saturday, and worked Sunday...So after vacation, Katy Perry's deliciousness has to be the next best thing!

In case you missed my first post back from vacation,
here_it_is...Then there was Volume_2...Volume 3 will be coming tomorrow...Lots of good stuff in thoughs about the Little Beeze...

In the Sports world, which I haven't paid much attention to in the last few weeks, the NFL Football Hall of Fame inducted one hell of a class this weekend...
Russ Grimm ...Rickey Jackson... Dick LeBeau...Floyd Little...John Randle...Jerry Rice...Emmitt Smith...Seriously, that is some serious talent...That said, I have to wonder, is the honor of being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame watered down...These guys were all great players, but look at the Baseball Hall of Fame...They're real pricks about letting guys in...Guys who have the numbers, but they make them wait...Just ask Bert Blyleven!

In the world of Golf, Tiger Woods has completely fallen apart...It didn't watch any of it this weekend, but I've seen and heard the updates...Dude has lost it...I've got a bit of advice for Tiger and the PGA...Get some strange for that man...When he was banging every skank that walked by, he was killing it...The PGA needs to set him up in a hotel with 5-10 of these gashes for a week or so...I'm sure he'll get his swing back then!

In Hockey news, after much talk about it happening, the deal is done...Mike Modano,40years old, signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Red Wings worth $1.25 million, with a possibility of earning $500,000 more through performance based bonuses...The Wings always seem to manage to get one more year out of guys, and I think they'll do it again with Modano...Even at 40, that's a pretty good third line center...

LeBron James returned to Akron for the first time since he made his "Decision" to "take his talents to South Beach" this weekend for his charity bike-athon...It seems that finally, one of his handlers got in his ear and told him to say something nice to the fans in Cleveland..."The King" finally thanks his fans in Cleveland and North East Ohio...Based on the mood here, it may be too little, too late...

I'm glad the guy does some good charity work for kids, but he's still a tool!

Time for the Tweets of the week...

First two from
Shoosh0126
"Didn't have the $$ for UFC pay per view tonight, so I spent the evening in a fistfight with my cock. Poor lil' feller didn't have a chance."

Shoosh0126
"I'm excited!! I think there's a cute & single girl moving in next door. At least that's what I gather from the Dora the Explorer Big Wheel."

Okay, that was a little wrong, but still funny...

Now from one of my favorites,
sarkastickunt
"Once you have kids you get to have lots of surprise sex and by that I mean if you actually get any it would be a complete surprise. "

Lastly,
adamcarolla
"Sad realization you know your an asshole if every time your wife hands you the phone she puts her palm over the receiver and says 'be nice'"

I know exactly what he's talking about!

Now many of you know, I'm a big Notre Dame fan...(Get the booing out of your system) I had been thinking about writing a blog about certain Fighting Irish Football players who need to step up big time this year...Sadly, the guys at
uhnd.com beat me to it, and they were spot on.

I know this isn't my typical, long-winded, ranting and raving, Monday post...I guess the vacation did some good, but I do see some rage coming down the road...That said, I'll close with some
Louis_CK...Seriously, click the link, (they won't let me embed it) he takes this bitch apart...It's great!

That's it for now...

Back from Vacation (part 2)

So here is the second chapter of my family's vacation to Martha's Vineyard...If you missed the first one...Stop, scroll down, read it, then come back to this one...There is one thing I forgot to mention in that post...Right before we left we got the news on what the next little Beeze will be...It's gonna be a girl...Now to chapter 2...

So I had talked about my 5 year old son's ability to swear, and quality comedic timing...Well once he saw he had an audience that enjoyed what he was saying, he was all in...Kid couldn't stop swearing...e started quoting lines from the Family Guy Star Wars, "Blue Harvest"...Yes, I let him watch it! Bitch, Son of a Bitch, kick your Ass, kiss my Ass were flying around a lot...There was one F*ck you, when he was playing a game on my niece's iPod touch...We tried to ignore it, and didn't here it again...Oh, and the iPod touch, great to keep the kids occupied for awhile, and he was a wiz with it...Guess what he wants for his birthday?

DAY 2

All day on the beach...sandwiches, beers, ocean, throwing the football around...Good stuff...Although I almost wrecked my knee...I was covering my 14 year nephew, my Brother-in-law throws him a pass...I try to stop on a dime, hard to do in sand, and jump for it...I had it timed perfectly...Except my knee said no, and just buckled...I walked it off, then we saw my saw pull a chair right up to the water...Kid is smart...We crabbed a couple chairs and a couple beers and followed...

The other highlight from the boy, after riding in on some big waves, on a boogie board, he gets up, picks up the board, and says, "BULLSHIT!" It was hilarious...Dude was talking shit to the ocean, and I loved it!

DAY 3

This was the first day that I got down on vacation...Another day on the beach...As I said in the first chapter, I'm not a beach person...But I try to deal with it, this is more about the kids, and the wife, and family, then it is about be me...I'm okay with that...So I'm on the beach, and I'm trying to read a book...Except, with my son, you always have to be on high alert...I've always been a worst case scenario guy, so I tend to get tense and stressed easily...It's hard to get through a chapter, let alone a couple pages, when you feel like you have to keep your head on a swivel...Always making sure he stays out of trouble...Plus there is this constant, "hey dad!" or "hey mom!" ...Both my kids talk, a lot...

But my niece and nephew were great...They spent tons of time playing with my kids, and keeping an eye on them...Watching my 14 year old nephew with my 5 year old son was amazing...By the end of the trip, they were inseparable, and funny as hell!

DAY 4

We headed in to the town of Oak Bluffs...We wanted to get the kids out of the sun for a day...On the way in, the little Beeze started getting car sick...Everyone headed to the arcade, while the boy and I hit the bathroom...He was on the shitter for 15 or 20 minutes, crapped his brains out...Then I carried up the street to meet up with everyone else...I saw a sign for a place called
SHARKY'S ...They also had a store...I pointed it out to him, and he got down and walked...I knew I was about to spend some money, but he had been feeling miserable, so if it picked him up a bit, I was in...We walk in the store, and it is a kid, shark lover, heaven...Shark f*cking everything! After about 20 minutes of checking everything out, he picked out a rubber toy, Great White Shark...

As we headed up the street to the arcade, he now had a little more pep in his step...He showed everyone his shark...Then he saw a "Terminator" video game and he wanted to play it...It had two guns...So I got $5 worth of tokens, and we dumped them all into that game...We were shooting the hell out of those bastards...When we were done, he said, "This is the best day ever!"
Sharks and pretending to shoot shit can make any bad day better...

That's all for now...Stay tuned...

Later, The Beeze.

Indians vs. Red Sox 8-3-10

Let me start by saying, I consider myself a Boston Red Sox fan...Yes, I'm a Clevelander...I follow the Indians, but the way the team has been run for awhile now makes me sick...So I was watching last night's game between the Tribe and the Sox...Late in the game a bit of a scuffle broke out after Indians pitcher Jensen Lewis threw on at Adrian Beltre...Earlier David Ortiz had one thrown behind him...Now baseball fights suck more often then not, but when Josh Beckett started going nuts, I thought this one might be good...Red Sox Manager Terry Francona also got real chippy with the Tribe's 3rd base coach, and injured 1st baseman Kevin Youkilis felt like running his big mouth...Sadly everyone bitched out...

Now I've always like Youk, Francona, and Beckett, but f*ck them all, and f*ck the asshole announcers and commentators who haven't been telling the whole story...Youk, Francona, and Beckett all acted like c*nts...(video doesn't show Youk being a douche, but he was)

You see, before any Indians pitcher threw at anyone, Beckett plugged two Indians batters...Including Shelley Duncan, who had 4 hits against the Sox the night before...

It's bad enough the Red Sox like to act like they are underdogs with the leagues second highest payroll, but then they can't take it when a team retaliates and doesn't back down...

Right now, I can't wait for Football season...I'll continue to a Sox fan, after this series is over, but I hope Beckett's arm falls off...What an ass-hat!

The Beeze's Hump Day Hits/ Skull F**ks

Well it's time for another volume of the Hump Day Hits...This post is normally about sports, for the most part...The last couple weeks I haven't paid much attention to sports, but I spent a good deal of time yesterday getting back in the swing of things...So here goes...

First, Brett Favre is at it again...Rumors started flying yesterday that he was retiring, again...FOX Sports jumped on it...ESPN of course confirmed it...They never give credit to who ever beat them to the punch...Then they went Brett Favre crazy all day...Eventually they pulled back a little, when no one actually heard anything from Favre...I thought the media was playing this stupid card again...But Favre's silence up to this point has me now thinking this is him playing his yearly game of 'Look at me!' He has neither confirmed or denied his retirement...Year after year he has held his team and their plans hostage, and they let him keep doing it...Well Vikings now you get what you deserve...I can't believe there are still people out there who love this guy...He's is without a doubt a first ballot, Skull F*ck Hall of Famer...

While I was away, the Cleveland Indians traded away some players...They traded 3rd Baseman Jhonny Peralta to Detroit for a prospect...They traded Kerry Wood, his huge salary, and his huge ERA to the Yankees...The contract they gave him was so bad they actually gave the Yankees a couple million just to get him out of town...In return they got the infamous "Player to be named later"...They also traded Austin Kearns to the Yankees for "the player o be named later"...Both Kearns and and Wood are not guys that will put the Yankees over the top...They didn't really need them...They also added Lance Berkman at the deadline...I swear to God, I think the Yankees sometimes make moves, just to make moves...Just to say, 'look at us, we get who ever, when ever, just cause.'

The Indians also traded pitcher Jake Westbrook to the Cardinals...I always liked him, he's a good pitcher..So I'm happy to see him with a contender...But sadly, again the Indians had to give up money to unload his contract, and got very little in return...GM Mark Shapiro is a joke...The rest of the league must love to see him coming...You know, with the way things have been going around here, some one has to pay...Shapiro, your taking a load...Here's a good old fashioned Skull F*ck just for you...

In the Hockey world, the Boston Bruins are looking to unload some salary...They've been trying to move Goalie Tim Thomas and his $5 Million dollar cap hit, but there are no takers so far...That has them looking into moving Center Marc Savard, but they want a quality return for Savard...Either some one to jump right into the lineup or high draft picks...If I was in their shoes, I'd hang onto Savard, even if they can't move Thomas...

And now for the always Important Hump Day Question...On this fine Hump Day which of these naughty school girls would you most like to hump?
