Monday Moaning

Alright, I wasn't going to lead with this first topic, but then a friend sent me a link expanding on the story....

This past week some dickhead kid in California was throwing punches at a partially blind kid, when BOOM! another student named Cody Pine stepped in and blasted the the dickhead!

As I was disgusted by the dickhead, and seeing something we see too much of anymore, I was elated to see Cody Pine come to the aid of another, and put dickhead...Then checking on the other kid, before getting in dickhead's face for what he did...It was a wonderful moment for the youth in this country to see...Stepping up to defend the weak...shutting down the bullshit dickhead who too often gets away with his crap...All witness accounts said the partially blind kid did nothing to cause dickhead to start throwing punches at him...Dickhead was arrested, and released to his shithead parents...this is the point where the story should end right?

Nope...Huntington Beach High School has suspended Cody Pine and he was booted from the football team, because of their so-called "zero-tolerance" policy, and they "could not accept violent behavior from any student"....I'm sorry, but everyone involved in this decision should be fired...A kid did the right thing, and the adults come along and fuck it up...It's actions like this from adults/school officials, that will prevent kids from doing the right thing...They'll see a kid getting beat down for no damn reason, and put their head down and keep walking, because they don't want to get in trouble, or lose the spot on a team, or whatever the fuck...

Violence isn't always the best solution...It isn't always right...But sometimes it is right...Sometimes the only solution is to step in and be more physical then the dickhead...While others stood and did nothing...some videoed it, but Cody Pine stepped in and resolved the problem with one shot...And then gave a clear warning to make sure it doesn't happen again...Sure, the pen can be mightier then the sword sometimes...But it isn't if you cut the mother fuckers hands off!

Way to go Cody Pine...You were right, and the adults are fucking idiots!

- Moving along...As I tend to do on Sundays, I find other things to do during the Browns game...I still say, walking away from this dysfunctional, horrible franchise, and pretty much the NFL, has been one of the best things I've done over the last few years...But thanks to the local Cleveland news, I got all the stupid details...

As I sat down to watch the six o'clock news, wanting to find out about the multiple shootings and deaths that took place in Cleveland Saturday night/early Sunday morning, I was saddened, and disgusted to see all the local news channel lead with what happened in the Browns game...

I get it...The news is geared to the lowest common denominator...But it didn't use to be...It shouldn't be...How about you say, fuck the shitty Browns for five minutes and let's talk about some important shit...In the last month there has not been a day where I didn't see or read a report about a shooting in Cleveland...And for about a two week stretch, everyday, there was at least one kid shot in Cleveland...

Yeah, shootings happen everyday, everywhere....Doesn't make it right...Doesn't mean it shouldn't be the lead news story...We should be talking about these problems before we talk about which shitty QB should be the Browns starting shitty QB...

And while I have my flamethrower out, I may as well cross that pesky racial line...Of all the shootings going on in Cleveland, the vast majority of victims have been black, and the vast majority of suspects have been black...So you #BlackLivesMatter people, can you please tell me why you aren't screaming about this?   Why is it that you are only screaming when a white person kills a black person, but where were you when the 7 year old was shot in a drive-by...Or the 10 year old...Or the other 7 year old...Or the 3 year old...Where the fuck are you!?!

For all the things that I love and will miss, and all the wonderful people I will miss, I'm looking forward to our move.

-In college football, for the first time since 2009, the Oregon Ducks are not in the Top 25, after taking a 62-20 beating from Utah...The PAC-12 has 5 teams in the top 25...UCLA (7)...Utah (17)...USC (18)...Stanford (18)...Cal (24)...The PAC-12 is solid, and underrated...

-Did you see the latest from the Washington Nationals?  Well, this video sums up what a train-wreck these team has become over the season...

Then manager Matt Williams kept Papelbon in the game...Which made folks not very happy...When asked about that decision after the game, Williams said he didn't realize the incident was that bad until seeing it after the game...If he would have he wouldn't have kept Papelbon in...I think that's bullshit...He knew what went on...And he would have no intention of not having his closer available...

I had high hopes for that team...Wow how they have been a mess this year...

That's all I have for now...But I'll have more to rant about soon I'm sure!

Have a week!

Latest Updates in the Patrick Kane Case

Last night things got uglier for the accuser of Patrick Kane when THIS happened...

Then it was reported this morning in the Chicago Tribune, that the the accuser’s friend who was with her the night of the alleged rape no longer supports the alleged victim’s claims....

"Multiple sources told the Tribune that the female friend — a college classmate — no longer fully backs the accuser’s version of events and has expressed reluctance to testify. Without her corroboration, it would be harder for prosecutors to move the case forward, those sources said.
This comes one day after the woman’s lawyer called a news conference to allege an evidence bag that once contained the rape kit from the case had been anonymously left at the home of the accuser’s mother. Attorney Thomas Eoannou, however, announced late Thursday that he no longer believed the account provided by the mother and therefore was ethically obligated to withdraw from the case.
The developments over the past two days suggested that the case against Kane had significant weaknesses, including DNA evidence that Kane’s attorney said favors the player’s claims of innocence."

Then Erie County DA, Frank Sedita held a press conference to clarify the chain custody of the evidence in Erie County...As well, he clarified that a Rape Kit is contained in a box, not a brown bag...He also showed video proof of the handling of the Rape kit...He also explained what the brown bag contained and who was in possession of throughout time....Here he is breaking down the "facts"...

Here's a teaser...The accuser has looked dirty through this whole thing...Looks like she learned it from Mom!

The Beeze's College Football Pick'em (week 4)

Last week I won 3...lost 1...and 1 push...

Let's see what we do this week...

- BYU at Michigan....

Okay, Michigan who isn't overly impressive, while the home team, is a 6.5 point favorite...I think that is crazy...I think BYU bounce back from their loss to UCLA last week...Take BYU plus the 6.5 points

- Georgia Tech at Duke...

Duke is 3-22 versus the Georgia Tech...It's not going to get better this week...GT is another team looking to bounce back from a tough loss...Take the Yellow Jackets minus the 7.5 points...

-Bowling Green at Purdue...

This week the Falcons are the favorite...It doesn't matter, I'm still taking them...Purdue blows...Bowling Green minus 5.5 points...

- Rice at Baylor....

Baylor has won 6 straight against Rice...And I feel confident that the Bears can take the Owls again...But Baylor doesn't understand what defense is...Take Rice plus the 34.5 points...

- Ohio University at Minnesota...

I don't even need to pull up any stats or history, or any of that bullshit...Minnesota ain't nothing to write home about...Ohio is a solid MAC team...Take the Bobcats plus the 10 points...

- Miss State at Auburn...

Auburn has proven that they walked into the season grossly overrated...yet they are a 3 point favorite....Miss State is 3-11 as a visitor...Can they turn it around? Yes...The Bulldogs will win straight up, but go ahead and take those 3 points too...

- UCLA at Arizon...

The visitor is 3-8...UCLA is 13-23 on the road in versus PAC-12 foes...But in the end it comes down to the better team...I'm going with UCLA minus 3 points.

-Utah at Oregon...

Utah is is 4-9 against ranked teams since joining the PAC-12...This one should be the game to watch...These teams will slug it out...the Utes are better then people expected, and Oregon is good, but not where they have been in past years...Take Utah plus the 12 points...

Good luck...

Beat the Bookie!

Lawyer for Patrick Kane's Accuser Quits

A day after holding a press conference where he brought out the accuser's rape kit, evidence bag, Attorney Thomas J. Eoannou held a press conference tonight to say he will no longer represent Kane's accuser...Eoannou felt there were "misrepresentations" of how the evidence bag ended up at the mother's door...And he no longer has confidence in the story of how the bag was found...

As I quoted in yesterday's POST, Police officials said, "All evidence related to this case that was given to Erie County Central Police Services by the Town of Hamburg Police Department is accounted for and remains in its original packaging in the possession of Erie County Central Police Services," John Glascott, Erie County Central Police Services commissioner said in a statement. "This includes the evidence in the rape kit and the packaging itself. This evidence has been analyzed and reports of that analysis sent to the appropriate agencies."

Wednesday Kane's attorney, Paul Cambria, said both sides in the case have been told that none of Kane's DNA was found "from the waist down" on the woman.
Cambria said he would welcome an investigation of the bag incident.
"Only someone who is unhappy with the DNA results would have a motivation to claim that it's compromised," Cambria told The Associated Press. "We are obviously quite pleased with the DNA results."
Here are key things said by Eoannou tonight...
"I no longer have confidence in the mannor and means about which this bag was discovered."
"there were fabrications made. I don't know what's true and what's not true."
" I am not going forward as the lawyer in this case. "

Dan Herbeck tweeted that "Patrick Kane's attorney Paul Cambria tells Buffalo News latest developments in the case show the woman's entire claim vs Kane is fabrication."

In his press conference I am watching now, Cambria said, "The science was clear, the testing that was done exonerates my client."

Like I said yesterday...It came out early this week that the accuser's rape kit had DNA, and semen from two other people not named Kane in her genitals...Then Wednesday the mother mysteriously finds a rape kit evidence bag, and the accuser's side is screaming 'evidence tampering'...The accuser's social media did not show her in a good light...parts of her story were discredited by Kane's driver, an off duty police officer, as well the bartender...

While I approached this story very skeptical of the accuser, most of the media was anti-Kane...Most of what was written bashed him, and early leaks were against his side of the story...I have to give credit to Sports Mockery for being ahead of this story digging into it from the other side...
At this point, I feel very confident in the post I did awhile back saying that Kane was setup...

Lane Kiffin Rumors are Fantastic!

Lane Kiffin is well known for being an asshole...The guy has burned more bridges then me...But did he really go there?

Kiffin going to to Alabama to be Nick Saban's Offensive Coordinator, just made him more hate-able...It's not like many of us like Saban...And based off their personalities, you just know they weren't going to mesh well...And it may all be coming to a head now...

Twitter has exploded this afternoon with rumors that Kiffin is out or will be out shortly at Alabama...There was rumbling about a fight between Saban and Kiffin...Then the rumor of Kiffin banging a 'Bama booster's wife really got us excited...But then it got better...The rumor that has taken off and made us all a little horny is that Kiffin fucked the young lady above...Kristen Saban...Coach Nick Saban's married daughter!

Not so sweet Kristen faced assault charges back in 2010 after getting shit-faced and beating the hell out of a sorority sister named Sarah Grimes...So if she cheated on hubby with Daddy's OC, I wouldn't be shocked at all...Seriously, I just have grown to have little faith in most people having a sense of decency...Especially entitled gashes like her...

As some one who doesn't like Kiffin or Saban, or Alabama, I hope to some degree this is true...Kiffin fired and 'Bama in a cluster-fuck...That would be great...Banging your Bosses daughter...WOW! There is no stronger way to burn a fucking bridge...If you're going out, may as well go out in a blaze of glory!

Again, all of this is rumor...Rumors swirling around Twitter...Twitter has always been good for that...No news outlets are reporting anything substantial...But they often get a heads up these days from Twitter...Let alone always report on "what's trending"...Twitter while often gets things wrong, it often is in front of things, because everyone has access to it...So, where there is smoke, there is fire...Something is going on at Alabama...Something with Kiffin....

I would be willing to guess that Illinois who fired there head coach 8 days before the season started, had shown some interest in Kiffin for their head coaching position...Some one caught wind of Kiffin possibly leaving, and said something, and it all started expanding and spreading like herpes...Shit does tend to get blown out of proportion at times....

But honestly, I hope Kiffin fucked Saban's daughter!

We'll continue to follow this shit-storm!

The Patrick Kane Case has Gotten Stranger

I was watching for updates on the Kane investigation...Yesterday I saw reports being leaked out about Kane's accuser's rape kit...While DNA from Kane was under her fingernails, and on her shoulder...(where it was alleged Kane had bit her)....There was no DNA from Kane in her genitals...BUT...There was DNA from two others in her genitals....Semen from two others, but not Kane found in her rape kit...

That news had all those who thought the alleged victim was trying to setup Kane for a big pay-day, buzzing...While I wasn't buzzing, I did have my feeling that things about her story didn't paint her in a good light...Then I saw that the attorney for the accuser was going to have a press conference today...So, I held off on posting anything, to see what was going to come out of this press conference...

Well, Holy breaking news batman!

Here is what the accuser's attorney had to say...

What!  The victim's rape kit, evidence bag was ripped open, and stuffed in her mother's door...

I get the attorney being pissed that his unnamed client has been getting bashed, but all the things put out there made it pretty easy not to trust her story...Yes, we hear about "Rape Culture" and how victims are attacked...But the other side of "Rape Culture" is the innocent guy getting his life ruined because she was looking for a money grab, or just felt bad about herself after a night of drinking and taking ecstasy...(which her social media said she had done)...It was easy to look at what was out there, and not trust her...But then news like this breaks, and now there are some serious questions....

Questions for Kane and those around him...Questions for the DA...Questions for the police....

The Hamburg Police Department put said in a statement today about the bag after Eoannou’s announcement, “In regard to the information conveyed today by Mr. Thomas Eoannou, the Hamburg Police Department will cooperate with any authorized investigation regarding the handling of evidence and the procedure of such. That said, The Hamburg Police Department has documentation that unequivocally demonstrates that it’s handling of the evidence and the integrity of it’s chain of custody of evidence in this case is unassailable. As is policy with active investigations, there will be no further comment regarding this situation.”

The Erie County Commissioner of Central Police Services, John Glascott said,
“All evidence related to this case that was given to Erie County Central Police Services by the Town of Hamburg Police Department is accounted for and remains in its original packaging in the possession of Erie County Central Police Services, This includes the evidence in the rape kit and the packaging itself. This evidence has been analyzed and reports of that analysis sent to the appropriate agencies.”

So the shit is all accounted for, but some how the rape kit evidence bag ended up in the door of the alleged victim's mother's house....I honestly don't know what to think...Could all the fucking liars in the room please stand up!?!  Some one is full of shit!  Is it the police? Is it Kane? Is it the accuser? Her mother?  Her lawyer?  yeah, I went there...I'm not ruling anyone out...
It was leaked that she had DNA and semen from two other guys in her rape kit, but not from Kane...And boom suddenly we have evidence tampering...Who is doing the tampering?
Without a doubt there needs to be a major investigation of this entire case...All sides need to be thoroughly looked into...This is mess, and going to become a nightmare for the Chicago Blackhawks and the NHL...Besides whoever up there in Erie County who is turning the dirt...

Monday Moaning

Well hello there Buffalo Jills...Yes, the Bills lost Sunday to the Patriots, but thers seems to be something special with those Bills fans...Last week our friend Jeff wrote about a Craigslist ad, written by a female, looking for a guy, a stranger, that she never even looked at, that she jacked-off at a Bills game while her boyfriend was off getting her food and drink...Then Sunday, Barstool Sports shared this via Instgram...
A video posted by Barstool Sports (@barstool_sports) on

One guy shooting snot rockets and puking, and another giving some chick the ole Patrick Kane treatment!

I don't know, but with us moving about an hour and change away from Buffalo, when my NFL fandom contract is up and I'm a free agent again, I may have to sign with the Bills...They're a horny, boozing bunch!

-The Fighting Irish  defense stepped up, and was dominate for 3 and a half quarters Saturday...They got a bit lax late in the game, but the way they handled Georgia Tech's option attack was excellent...Sophomore QB DeShone Kizer played well, and it seems C.J. Prosise has found his true calling at Running Back...

-In my Pick'em POST Friday, I had a solid week again...winning 3, losing 1 and having a push on 1 game...And I said it, Northern Illinois being a 35 point underdog was crazy...Even against Ohio State...The Buckeyes rarely cover against MAC schools...But for Ohio State fans, it was worse then that...NIU brought everything they had, and normally with them, that means offense...But Saturday the D showed up...And the Ohio State QB situation got shakier, as neither guy played very well...

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer has talked about what a great situation they are in with their depth and talent, and having two starting QB's...You know what my Dad said to me many years ago about situations like this..."If you have two starting QB's, you don't have a starting QB."

And from what I saw, flipping between this game and the ND game, Ohio State has one of the country's best running backs, in Zeke Elliot, and they did not use him enough....(plus I predicted him to win the Heisman, so damn it Meyer, ride that fucking horse into the ground!)

-Alabama fell to Ole Miss for the second year in a row...I said I wasn't touching this game ('Bama was a 7 point favorite)...I didn't know what to expect from the Tide, and Ole miss has looked solid...Well, now I know what to expect from Alabama this year....Fucking confusion...From the head coach, to the OC, to the players...Another team unsettled at QB...Honestly, most the team looked like teir heads were up their asses...5 turnovers...And every bounce started going Ole Miss' way...Good...I fucking hate Alabama!

-Now we are moving onto a totally different subject...A chick named Nicole Arbour, who is a comic, also does videos ripping on shit that she posts on YouTube...If you didn't know, there are people know as "YouTubers"...The post videos babbling about whatever...The crybaby ones post response videos every time their vagina hurts...Arbour did one recently titles "Dear Fat People"....Before you watch, she has an annoying quality to her...Which of course, I like...Also, I'm fat...And I wasn't offended...I laughed...She's a comic!

So, all kinds of fatties starting crying....Screaming that she is "Fat-shaming" and "bullying"....

Fuck you, grow up!  The terms "Shaming" and "bullying" have become two of the most overused terms in the English Language....Why has this country become so fucking soft!?!  When I grew up do you know what bullying was?  An asshole 8th grader (often a big fat fuck) who beat the shit out of a 5th grader and stole his shit...The next day my two older brothers turn his face into what looked like ashed potatoes with ketchup....

Nut the fuck up people...And these crybaby fatties weren't giving Arbour shit when weeks earlier she did a video, humorously trashing "Insta-models"....those are the chicks that post sexy pics on Instagram in the hopes of landing a modeling career...Then those gashes at "the View" had Arbour on...She told all about it on Opie and Jim Norton's show...How they kept cutting out her mic when she made jokes, trying to make it seem like she was swearing...How these gashes gave her shit...Two who were comedians, so they looked like twats...Oh, and this nice bit about how they really feel about nurses...

Fuck "The View"....Fuck all these pussified twats that cry about everything and stand for nothing...And fuck everyone attacking comedy and freedom of speech...No one made you click on Nicole Arbour's YouTube channel...We have free will....You don't have to watch you crybaby cunts!

With that I say....

Have a week!

The Beeze's College Pick'em (week 3)

This week's pick'em is going to be shorter...There just aren't that many games I like...And you don't bet just to bet...You gotta be smart about it...Last week I was right on 75% of my games...I'm not going to throw a bunch a games out there for ya if I wouldn't bet them myself...We'll start this week with a tough one...

-Georgia Tech at Notre Dame....

GT walks into South Bend as 2.5-3 point favorite...They are only the favorite because of the loss of Irish starting QB, Malik Zaire...That said, with or without Zaire, this game was always going to hinge on how well the Irish defense plays against the pesky Tech offense...GT is 8-3 in road openers...The Irish have a commanding lead in this series, with a 27-6-1 record...The Yellow jackets will push Notre Dame...This game will come down to the wire...I think the Irish can pull it out...Take them getting the 3 points...

-Memphis at Bowling Green...

Yep, Bowling Green has become my go-to to team when looking at games to bet...The Falcons put up points...They can run with almost anyone...BGSU is 8-1 hosting non-conference teams since 2010...Memphis is a helluva team flying under most people's radar...They can rack up the points as well...But I think they may meet their match this week...Take the Falcons getting 3 points....

-Northern Illinois at Ohio State...

NIU is 5-4 versus Big Ten schools over the last six years...Ohio State is 19-0 against MAC schools since 2000, but they have had a number of issues covering the spread...NIU isn't Hawaii...They'll put up a fight...Take the Huskies plus the 35 points...

-BYU at UCLA...

These are two really good teams...And if we have learned anything over the first two weeks of the season, when it comes to BYU, throw all the analytics out the window...AND, and don't care who they are playing, there is no logical reason to have them as 16.5 point underdog...This game will be on TV at 10:30 (est)...Take BYU plus the 16.5 points and enjoy the hell out of the show these two teams put on...

-There are other big games...Ole Miss at Alabama...'Bama is a 7 point favorite...I just don't trust them yet, and I'm not sure what to think of Ole Miss yet...I'm leaving this game alone...

-Stanford at USC...The Trojans are a 10 point favorite...But these PAC-12 games some times turn into a slugfest...Stanford has a lot to prove...The Gambler in me would take USC, but right now, I'm leaving it alone...

-The last game I'll talk about...

Auburn at LSU...

LSU is 9-5 versus Auburn, and on a 7-0 stretch when hosting the Tigers...LSU is a 7 point favorite...I expect Auburn to come out with a lot of fire after nearly losing to Jacksoville State last week...Then there is the Les Miles factor...While he is a good coach, he has an incredible knack to make stupid mistakes/decision, that often fuck over the gambler or the bookie...I'll take Auburn getting the 7 points...

Good luck!

Which NFL Team has the Best Helmet

I was thinking about how awful the even more orange new Browns' helmets and new uniforms look...And I got to thinking about the other NFL helmets...I figured why not do a post about it...Our post about MLB LOGOS was a hit, and helmets are cool right...So, what's the best, current, NFL Helmet?

When I did the MLB Logos post, people commenting threw out their top five, so I'll go at this post using that method...

There are certain Helmets that are just iconic...The Dallas Cowboys pops in your head immediately...The Packers, the Bears...Those are old school....The classic look is almost always a good thing...The Steelers...It's a boring fucking logo, and it's only on one side of the helmet...But it's tradition, and you know what it is when you see it...Being a Clevelander, the Browns plain, boring, stupid orange helmet is another iconic, filled with football history helmet...But it doesn't make my list...Wasn't a huge fan of it, and they made it worse...

There is a part of me that wants to put the Washington Redskins in my top 5, just to piss off the overly sensitive gas-bags out there...But I'll be honest...It's a classic look, but it doesn't make my list...

#5...The San Francisco 49ers...I don't like the team and their criminal players...But I like the gold (most be the Notre Dame fan in me)...I like the red...the black trim...the intertwined "SF"...I'll always dig a intertwined letter logo...

#4...The Houston Texans...Again, not so much a fan of the team...I like their coach Bill O'Brien's attitude...But since the teams birth, I've always liked their logo...And it's hard to go wrong with Red, White and Blue as your colors...

#3...The Seattle Seahawks...First off, it was a few years back when I was a free agent, that I signed my fandom to the Seahawks...So you kinda gotta like your teams gear right?  The logo isn't thrilling, but it's unique...I love the shade of blue, (again unique) with the grey/white, and that little hint of neon green...

#2...the Green Bay Packers...It's classic...My high school alma mater based it's logo and colors off of the Packers...And the Packers have always stayed true to it...They never tried to mix in black or chrome, like nearly every other team has...Why mess with success!?!

#1...The Buffalo Bills...

Again, it's hard to go wrong with Red, White and Blue...Going back to the White helmet as opposed to the Red, looks so much better...It's got a real old school vibe to it...I can't explain it more then that...I just like it...

...And to my numerous friend who are New England Patriot fans...If the Pats got rid of the screaming chicken looking Pat the Patriot, and went back to the old school...It would be the winner hands down...

So, what do you think is the best NFL helmet?

Give us your top five!

Monday Moaning (Choices)

Choices...Choices, choices, choices...

The choices we make can have a major impact on our lives...If you were choosing from the picture above, you're decision would be based on limited information...Who knows what the fronts look like...What if one of them has a dick? Like I said, choices can make a major impact...

In the NFL, teams have to make important choices based on the information they have...Some teams just don't know how to read that information...Perfect example...The Cleveland Browns...They consistently drafting poorly...They've had about 24 different QB's in 15 years...They thought these FUBU looking uniforms were a good idea...

And Josh McCown thought this was going to work out...Dude looked brain-dead before he hit the ground...

Another example, would be which of two big-name college QB's should you draft...Right away I thought the Tennessee Titans got it right with Marcus Mariota...

Kid looks so comfortable, and confident...Has plenty of skills and room to improve...

But based off of everything we knew, I thought Tampa Bay was making a mistake drafting Jameis Winston...The kid carries trouble in his back pocket, and in his brief college career showed so many flaws, not just in his character, but also in his abilities...The Titans D watched the film...

Honestly, I only watched some highlights...I truly can't stand the NFL...I got sick seconds after popping on the Jets / Browns game...And it wasn't just those god-awful uniforms...Just have no taste for the NFL and all their bullshit...I jumped over to NFL network to check on my fantasy guys, just to find out half my team was playing Monday night...

-Sometimes we make choices that lead to change...Sometimes change leads to making choices...The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have to make some choices after finding out they are changing QB's for the rest of the season after this...

That's starting QB Malik Zaire breaking his ankle Saturday...Now Sophomore DeShone Kizer takes over...Another "dual-threat" QB...But do they use the full playbook with Kizer?  Do they try to keep him from running to prevent another season ending injury?  Do they lean toward the running game? Passing game? Balanced?  Choices...Choices based on what they know...Which is more then us when it comes to Kizer...

-There is a choice that needs to be made in Pennsylvania High School football...That choice is to play defense...First, teach kids how to play defense...Friday night Meadville  beat DuBois 107-90...Not in basketball...Football...Meadville's offense was lead by running back Journey Brown who rushed for 722 yards on 30 carries, with 10 TD's....Shockingly while setting a PA record for yards, it's not  a national record...That is 754 yards set in New Jersey by John Giannantonio in 1950...

Dubois' offense was lead by the arm of QB Matt Miller who set a national high school record, throwing for 782 yards, adding 10 TD's himself...

I find this lack of defense disgusting...But I wanted to find some video of these kids lighting it up...Local TV highlights were crap...I couldn't find anything of Miller, but I found Journey Brown's 2014 highlight video on YouTube...

Kid can run...And it sounds like he made a highlight video for 2015 all on Friday night...

-Lastly in this post about choices, is the choice my wife and I have made...With her father having dementia issues, and having had a number of small strokes over the last couple years, as well as her mother having more troubles as she's getting older, we have decided to move toe Erie, PA...We will be able to help handle things for them more, instead of being on call and having to drive in all the time from Cleveland...They don't drive at this point, and my father-in-law's health issues are far more then what my mother-in-law can handle...At some point when we get him into a full-time care facility (which will most likely eat up all their money) we'll take her in with us...

The boy, and Molly are excited...The 13 year girl isn't so thrilled as she is all goo-goo for a boy and has some very good friends here...But she understands why we are making this choice...It wasn't long ago when I wrote about needing a change...Well, here it is...And I'm very excited about it...

After we made our final decision, and signed wheat we needed to sign, I did something I never thought I would do...I started a "go fund me" page to ask for help for this big transition....but I figured millionaire actor Zach Braff used crowd funding to pay for a bad movie studios didn't want to make, why shouldn't I to help get a couple appliances our new home needs, along with a couple pieces of furniture and some paint...The boy doesn't like the idea of his bedroom staying light pink!  So, if you're interested and able, any HELP would be greatly appreciated...

As for the sports scene in Erie...Beside no defense high school football...There is junior hockey, college sports, AA baseball...and it's a hour and half from Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Buffalo...So, I can continue being miserable!

Have a week!

Malik Zaire Out for the Rest of the Season

Right there was the moment when many of us Notre Dame fans said, "Shit! There goes the season!"  Actually I yelled "Mother Fucker" when watching the replay that made it look pretty clear that Irish QB, Malik Zaire's season was done...

The Irish offense seemed out of sink for much of Saturday's game with Virginia...And I wasn't thrilled with the defense's play, especially in the second half...At the end of this run, Zaire had racked up 87 yards on 10 carries for the day...He was 7 for 18 in the passing game for 115 yards and a TD...Not quite the performance many of us were expecting after his excellent showing against Texas...But Zaire is the guy...The coaches love him...His teammates love him...He talent is very clear...So ND Nation has hung our collective hat on this kid...

So when coach Brian Kelly confirmed after the game that Zaire had a fractured ankle and would miss the rest of the season, a week after starting running back Tarean Folson's season was ended with a knee injury, hopes of winning season, and making the palyoffs seem harder to imagine...There has been a lot of talk of Notre Dame's depth, but at this rate how long will the depth hold up?

Enter Sophomore QB, DeShone Kizer...Kizer who stepped in Saturday to complete 8 of 12 passes for 92 yards and 2 TD's...One coming on a fake field goal, and the other a 40 yard, last minute, game winning TD pass to Will Fuller...Pulling out a 34-27 win...

Kizer is 6-4, 230 lb. dual-threat QB from Toledo, Ohio...Coming out of High School Tom Lemming had him ranked as the 40th best player in the nation...He saw no game time last year, and got a bit of mop-up duty during the Texas game...He has a seriously strong arm, but seems to need to learn some touch...Also, while the dual-threat QB is nice, and opens up more of the playbook, they also have a better chance of getting hurt, just like Zaire...

The offense rallied around Kizer at the end...Hopefully they won't miss a beat, but I think this season just got a bit tougher...

The Beeze's College Football Pick'em (week 2)

Well, last week with the spread I went about .500...I put too much faith in Texas hanging in the game against Notre Dame...Won't make that mistake again!  So let's get right into this week's games...

- Utah State at Utah  (Friday)...

The home team has won the last three meetings between these to state rivals...Utah State's last win in Salt Lake City was '97...The Aggies should be good this year...And the Utes are coming off a big season opening win over Michigan...Will there be a hangover?  I think Utah wins, but I'll take State with the 12 points...

- Bowling Green at Maryland...

BGSU is 6-17 versus the Big Ten...They went 1-1 last year...Maryland has started the last three seasons 2-0...But I was really impressed with how the Falcons ran with Tennessee last week...If this was lacrosse I'd take Maryland, but it's football!  Take Bowling Green plus the 7.5 points!

 - Buffalo at Penn State....

Penn State is coming off a bitter defeat to Temple...I fully expect them to bounce back and win this game...But I don't think they and their QB, Christian  Hackenberg are as good as the hype has lead people to believe...Buffalo is 2-15 in road openers...But they have a good new coach in Lance Leipold who will get that program on track...Take Buffalo plus the 19.5 points...

- UTEP at Texas Tech...

UTEP has lost the last six meetings between these two teams...Last years game was a shootout, that saw the Minors 3 TD lead...I expect this one to be another shootout...Texas Tech doesn't know what defense is, and gives the Miners hope...I'll take UTEP plus the 20.5 points...

-Notre Dame at Virginia...

Virginia are 9-3 in home openers...The Irish have a bad record in the first road game (not neutral site) of the season...But that won't be a factor this year...While I'm a total Irish fan, I wasn't all in with the pre-season hype...After last week, I'm buying in a bit more...The Irish are gonna roll...Take Notre Dame minus the 11 points...

- Iowa at Iowa State...

Rivalry game here...The last 4 games between these two teams have been decided by 6 points or less...And these games often come down to the wire...What this comes down to is, Iowa State isn't that good...The home field advantage can only do so much...The Hawkeyes aren't a powerhouse themselves, but they're better...I'll take the risk...Iowa minus 3 points...

- Oklahoma at Tennessee...

The Sooners are 2-1 against the Volunteers...This is their first time to Knoxville...Oklahoma has won five straight, non-conference road games, and are 14-3 in road openers since 1998...Tennessee has won 20 straight home openers...After watching the Vols struggle with BGSU for 3 quarters, that streak ends this week, and the Sooners win...Take Oklahoma minus the 2 points...

-Oregon at Michigan State...

Between these two teams, the home team is 5-0...Michigan State has won 16 straight home openers...Oregon played sloppy early in this game last year, but recovered...I expect they'll play a cleaner game, and eventually, they're have more gas left in the tank...The streaks will end...Take the Ducks plus the 3 points...

-Game I won't touch at all....Boise State at BYU...It's on at 10:15 PM (est) and may be a fun one to watch...

Good luck!

Brian Kelly with Shots Fired

Notre Dame head football coach responded today to comments from Gary Pinkel, Steve Spurrier, and Dabo Swinney...All have, in said in some way, shape or form that Notre Dame should be forced to play in a conference, or not be eligible for the College Football Playoff...

Now, I'm a loyal ND guy, and I feel they should be in a conference, but they don't make the rules, they just use them to their advantage...And I think it's clear that Notre Dame is leaning that way, after starting to play a partial ACC schedule last season, as part of the terms for the rest of Irish sports joing the ACC...If the NCAA made them, they would...But let's be honest, the NCAA likes ND being what the are and relevant...It keeps people talking college football, and they like their taste they get from the Irish...

Pinkel made the silly point of there "are no independents at the next level"...He also went on to say that he thinks every league should have a conference championship...

So, while on the Rich Eisen Show, Kelly was asked about these types of comments...His response was great, and can be considered "Shots Fired!"

"Our situation is that we don’t play any I-AA teams," Kelly said. "I think that when they decide not to play I-AA teams then maybe we could be on an equal footing. We’re gonna play teams that give us a quality schedule and that’s all really we can control.”

Suck on that you SEC and ACC douche bags!  Spurrier's South Carolina team takes on The Citadel later this year...Pinkel's Missouri squad opened with Southeast Missouri State, and Swinney and his Clemson Tigers opened the season with Wofford...

Excellent point there Coach Kelly!

You can catch the full interview below, including talk of renewing the Notre Dame Michigan rivalry...

Cleveland Browns: The NFL Standard of Dysfunction

Yesterday the Cleveland Browns traded running back Terrance West to the Tennessee Titans for a conditional 7th round draft pick...West, in his rookie season, was the Browns leading rusher last year...The Browns had traded up to pick West in the 3rd round...And poof, he's suddenly no good, and can only garner a 7th round pick...I find this truly ridiculous...

More ridiculous is the standard Cleveland smear campaign smear campaign that happens every time a Cleveland sports team makes a move like this...Cleveland Plain Dealer, Browns shill, Mary Kay Cabot wrote, "the Browns had grown weary of West’s Incosistency the field and immaturity off the field."

The media smear continued with comments like, “maturity issues,” and “wasn’t well-liked by some in Berea” and “not exhibiting the professionalism the Browns were seeking.”

The Browns seeking professionalism is one of the funniest things I read...This is the organization who's GM (Ray Farmer) is suspended right now by the NFL, for texted down to the sideline during games, about what players should be played, and what plays to call...This is the organization who's owner had his business raided by the FBI...This organization wanting professionalism is the same group that drafted Johnny Manziel and let him act like a fuck-tard all last year...

This is alaso the organization that Suspended their Offensive Line Coach, Andy Moeller Monday, indefinately, with a very vague press release...

"Andy was involved in an incident, involving allegations that we take very seriously. We have followed our internal protocol, determining that right now it is best for the team and for Andy to take time away from the organization to focus on his personal matters. We are going to respect the process of investigation on this personal matter and will have no further comment at this time."

Later in the day Pat McManamon from ESPN.com reported,

"A woman called Berea police over the weekend, alleging Moeller had assaulted her, the sources said. The woman was a guest of Moeller's from Maryland.
By the time police arrived, the woman was unsure about pressing charges.
However, police were required to file a report, which was presented to the city prosecutor. He will determine whether charges will be filed. Because the alleged assault was not of a live-in partner or spouse, it was classified as assault and not domestic assault."

Seems like the maturity issues, and lack of professionalism problems have consistently stemmed from the fuck-tards above....

As for the players that were drafted with Terrance West in 2014 by the Browns...2 are starters...G- Joel Bitinio (2nd round) and LB- Chris Kirksey (3rd round)...And the two first round picks, CB- Justin Gilbert and QB- Johnny Manziel have contributed little, and don't look like they're going to contribute much...

You can say whatever you want about that mess known as the Washington Redskins, but there has been no NFL organization that has shown such a consistent and high level of dysfunction as the Cleveland Browns...
I'm so glad I washed my hands of this idiot team and their horrible fucking uniforms!

PS: I hope West lights it up for the Titans!

Monday Moaning

Well, it's Labor Day...Summer is officially over...I'm okay with that...I'm a Fall kind of guy to begin with, so the heat and humidity can fuck off very much please...

And what comes with Fall?  Football!  It was great watching the Fighting Irish beat the living shit out of Texas Saturday night 38-3...The Irish defense was pretty dominate...And the Offense, for the most part was able to do whatever they wanted...The O-Line pushed Texas around...Notre Dame picked up 214 yards on the ground, and almost all of that after starting running back Tarean Folston left the game after 3 carries in the first quarter with a torn MCL injury...3 carries, 19 yards, season over...That sucks!

C.J. Prosise, a RB turned WR, was turned back into RB, and put up 98 yards on 20 carries...Freshman Josh Adams added 2 TD's and 49 yards on 5 carries...Fellow Freshman, Dexter Williams picked up 24 yards on 7 carries late in the game...

Much of the talk around Notre Dame coming into this season has been hype about how they feel this is there best group of players, with the most depth...Well, the backfield depth will have to step up and prove that early now...

As for Texas, I thought they would be more competitive this year, but maybe not...The talking heads kept praising Texas QB, Tyrone Swoopes, and going on about his bright future...REALLY?  kid completed 7 out of 22 passes for 93 yards...I wasn't impressed...They may want to give the other kid a bit more of a look...

An impressive performance was my HEISMAN DARKHORSE, Irish QB, Malik Zaire who completed 19 of his 22 passes for 313 yards and 3 TD's...

Here's the whole game in under 3 minutes for ya...

Oh, and Texas...When you're getting your ass kicked 38-3, and the game has less than two minutes left...And you make a tackle on the 4th string running back...That's not the time you stand over the guy and taunt him...Coach Strong, you got a lot of work to do with those dolts!

- As for the rest of the College Football action, as usual the first week was filled with mostly big-time teams playing cream-puffs...But there were a couple good ones...Northwestern upset #21 Stanford...#2 TCU wasn't impressive at all against Minnesota...Washington gave #23 Boise State all they could handle...#25 Tennessee woke up in the second half after Bowling Green spent the first half exchanging punches with them...Everyone who has Bowling Green on their schedule better watch out...This team plays fast and hard...They have the speed to run with the so-called "SEC Speed"...

And for the weekend's biggest goose-bumps moment...BYU beating Nebraska 33-28 on a "Hail Mary"...

That's a play that will get ya right in the feels, as my son says!

-Kansas State Marching Band...Listen, I'm a big supporter of marching bands...Christ at out local high school games, people go to see the band,  not the football team...(the band could totally take the football team out!)  But Kansas State did you really think no one, especially the PC Police wouldn't catch this move?

They are trying to tell everyone that the cock and balls on the right are suppose to be the Starship Enterprise...It's clear that on the left is a rival Kansas Jayhawk...But really, Star Trek? That's no Enterprise....That's a prize about to enter the Jayhawks mouth!

Screw apologizing...You got caught...Admit that you were shitting....Or jizzing on your rival, and own it, you fucking pervs...It's college football, you're suppose to be dicks to your rival!

-As for life here...It's been crazy...The kids will finally start school Tuesday, as their building were under construction...And the wife is back...Last week, I was a single parent as my wife was in Houston doing training for her new job...Other then her having to make a couple trip there each year, it's going to be great for us...On the plus side, she brought me home a sweet Astros cap!

-One last thing...The judge made his ruling...We all Goodell an his ego are going to fight it...Whatever...I don't give a fuck...So, ESPN, FOX Sports, Bleacher Report, SI, and even us at the Gab...Can we please shut the fuck up and never hear or say the words "deflate-gate" again!?!

Have a week!

The Beeze's College Football Pick'em (week 1)

Good looking form there...

And hopefully this weekly post will help you give it to some one...Like your bookie...Screw on-line gambling...I'm old school...I learned the gambling business when I was a little kid...My dad did some collections for extra money when we were young, and I would go with him to pick up "football tickets" and drop them off on Fridays...He did some gambling himself...and taught me his simple rules...

1. Don't bet the mortgage/rent.
2. Don't bet the grocery money.
3. Don't bet the kids tuition.
4. Don't bet with your heart. (took me a bit to get that)
5. Don't try to recover your loses with one big bet you can't cover/afford.
6. Don't bet on Monday Night Football...It was created for the Bookies.

Now that we have those tips out of the way...Let's get to the games I've picked for this week...(and no I won't be picking any of those cream-puff games...just real games that should be at least slightly competitive.) The lines I'm using are  are as of right now.

- TCU at Minnesota  (Thursday)

TCU is 7-3 in road openers and average a 19 point margin of victory...Last year against Minnesota they forced 5 turnovers.
Minnesota is 17-3 in home openers...They are 12-6 when hosting a non-conference opponent...Over the last three years, they are on a 9-0 run hosting non-conference opponents...That run comes to an end this week...Take TCU minus the points.  (17)

-Michigan at Utah (Thursday)

Utah is 20-4 in home openers...Michigan hasn't started the season with a road victory since 1995...In the last 15 years Michigan is 3-8 in regular season, non-conference away games...I don't care what big mouth Jim Harbaugh says, the Michigan turnaround won't start this week...Take Utah, minus the points... (4.5)

-Washington at Boise State (Friday)

This will be Washington's first time on the Blue Turf...The Huskies are 2-11 in road openers...This is also Head Coach Chris Peterson's first time back to Boise State where he had a 48-2 record on the blue turf...Washington is going to lose, but take them plus the points...(12)...Peterson and his team will hang in there...

-Auburn vs. Louisville  (Atlanta)

Louisville is 17-33-1 versus the SEC...This is their first opener not at home since 2005...Auburn has played in Atlanta 4 times since 2010 and have a 3-1 record...Auburn will make that 4-1 as they have too much firepower for the trendy Louisville pick...Take the Tigers minus the points...(10.5)

-Arizona State at Texas A&M  (Houston)

ASU is 1-6 in road openers...They are 3-9 versus SEC teams...(not that I fully count A&M as a SEC team yet...It's a mental thing)....The Aggies are 5-7 in road/neutral site openers, but they have won 3 straight...This is one of those games I look at and say, 'leave it alone!'  Yeah, I wouldn't touch this game, but screw it...It's called gambling for a reason....Take the Sun Devils plus the points! (3.5)

-Wisconsin vs. Alabama  (Arlington)

Wisconsin had a streak of 16 straight season opening wins until last year...Alabama has won 13 straight season openers...This is their 4th neutral site opener (3-0)...I think Alabama is over-hyped this year...They'll probably win this one, but take the Badgers with the points...(10.5)

-Texas at Notre Dame

The Irish are 8-2 vs. Texas, winning the last 4 meetings...They are 15-4 in home/season openers since 1995...Texas is 1-2 in South Bend, Indiana...That win was in 1934...The Longhorns are 12-2 in road openers, losing the last 2...

This is that point when I have to listen to that don't bet with your heart rule...Texas is getting better, they're on their way back...But Notre Dame wins this game...

...That said, take Texas with the points...(10)

-Ohio State at Virginia Tech  (Monday)

Virginia Tech is 18-1 in home openers...Ohio State is 7-2 since 2006 in road openers...When seeking revenge from a previous season's loss, the Buckeyes are 8-0 since 2010...The average margin of victory in those games is 14 points...The Hokies will hang in there with the home field advantage for the first half, maybe...But it won't last...Take Ohio State minus the points...(11)

Good luck, and enjoy the football...

Could Patrick Kane be Traded?

Up to this point, there has not been any resolution to the Patrick Kane rape allegations...There has been much rumor and speculation, but no charges filed against Kane yet...But that hasn't stopped much of the media painting him as rapist...And the Chicago Blackhawks have remained pretty quiet about it all as well, but have made it clear they are ready to move forward with or without Kane no matter what the outcome...

Without seems to be a very big possibility, innocent or guilty....Chicago Sun Times reporter Mark Lazerus is reporting that "at least five teams have contacted the Blackhawks," since the investigation surrounding Kane has started...Clearly, there are teams not very concerned with the allegations...

There have been rumblings that the 'Hawks have been unhappy with Kane's partying...They were unhappy about the 2009 incident with a Buffalo Cabby...They were pissed about his Cinco de Mayo partying in Madison Wisconsin in 2012...And they weren't pleased during this year's Stanley Cup celebration when Kane announced he was going to "act the fool"...

Funny how they love his on ice performance, a key part of 3 Stanley Cup teams...A Conn Smythe performance in the 2012-13 Stanley Cup run...An elite NHL winger...They love his on ice performance so much that he walks into the 2015-16 season with a 8 year, $84 million dollar contract...

What is that old saying?   "You gotta take the good with the bad!"

26 year old Hockey superstar likes to party...Not a huge shocker...And it hasn't screwed up his game...Yes, there is this Sexual Assault cloud over his head now...But there are no charges...And based off of what SPORTS MOCKERY is reporting, I don't expect there to be any charges...

I don't blame any team for talking to Chicago about a deal for Kane...They're frustrated by his off-ice shit...And they still need to clear some cap space...I'd snatch him up in a heartbeat...Does he show some bad judgement? Sure...Does he get paid to put points up? Yes...Does he put up points?  Yes...Is he paid to not drink, and not pick up ladies? No...And there is hope he can learn from this recent headache....

I won't blame Chicago if they move Kane...They could land a good haul, and free up some salary cap space...And they can feel good about standing on some type of moral ground by running a 26 year old, booze swilling, horn-dog out of town, claiming to not want the distractions...

What's next for this saga?
