Bill Burr is the Hero We Need

 

It seems to be a quarterly event that Twitter gets upset and tries to attack and "cancel" comedian Bill Burr. What did he do that was so bad? Nothing! He got a gig announcing Grammy winners for the virtual part of the Grammy's that isn't the big TV production and a bunch of awards that white America and mainstream America/media doesn't give a shit about. Oh, and he made jokes. Including jokes at his inability to pronounce names correctly and the fact that his pasty white-male self was up there giving out awards for a number of "Latin" categories.

The fact that he went with a Dokken reference was hilarious!

So, lead by white people, the cries of "Bill Burr is a racist" came flooding onto Twitter. 

Just last week on one of his podcasts he was mocking the people who were acting shocked that the "Royal Family" might be racist after hearing one of them asked "How dark" will the baby be,  Burr went on to say if there was any proof you needed how races should mix if a couple is so inclined, look no further than "my two beautiful kids." He then mocked his own "pasty," "awful" looks and gave his lovely, (black) wife Nia all the credit for their children's beauty.

If you know anything about Bill Burr and his comedy, he makes fun of everyone. EVERYONE. And he does not apologize for any of it. 

The right will tell you that "cancel culture" is a weapon of the left. It isn't. It's used by both sides, both parties, as Congressman, Jamie Raskin pointed out last week, calling out fellow Congressman, Jim Jordan.

That being said, this latest bullshit, calling Bill Burr a racist is coming from the left. A very clueless, ignorant, loves to be triggered, left. A heavily white, left that loves to say 'look at me! I'm a good white person!' Thing is, if you have to say it, you aren't! 

Then I saw this shit, that Bill's wife Nia quote tweeted:

This dude just called Nia Renee Hill, Bill Burr's "minority sex servant" and that Burr owns her. Not only is that some of the most racist shit I have heard/read, but its some of the most sexist shit I've heard/read. So all you triggered fucking assholes, feel free to "cancel" Clayburn Griffin!

The last time people tried and greatly failed at "cancelling" Bill Burr was after his SNL appearance. That time he got it from both the right and left and mainly white women from both sides. But guess what...Besides doing his job as a comic and being funny, everything he said was true.

Not all heroes wear capes. To bastardize a Batman Quote, Bill Burr isn't the hero we deserve right now, but he's the hero we need.

Bruce Springsteen Fools America

 Bruce Springsteen, Rock & Roll icon and foolishly, a hero for the Blue Collar-Working Class. Democrats love to prop him up as one of theirs and how he speaks for the little guy. Republicans have tried to latch onto his music and themes to try and co-opt that "we support the blue collar Americans" bullshit. But the fact is, all he has ever known of hard working, blue collar Americans he either read about or was told, and then he turned it into his storytelling lyrics. He grew up middle class, his mother worked at law firm, his dad was a bus driver, he had a Grandfather that was lawyer. He didn't spend years working in steel mills or building cars on an assembly line or digging in coal mines. 

So let's just begin this all with he played everyone. He's not Johnny Blue Collar. He's a millionaire that writes stories about Johnny Blue Collar. Then we have his nickname, "The Boss." So he goes by "the Boss" but average Americans bought into the myth that he's one of us and speaks for us. Last I checked, the vast majority of us blue collar folks hate our boss, because while the average working class Joe or Jane bust their ass just to scrape by, the boss coasts by and gets nice bonuses based of Joe and Jane's hard work. Seriously America, this guy played the whole damn country.

Then we get into some of his lyrics. No I'm not talking about "Born In the USA." I'm talking about some classics the ladies all seem to love, but he doesn't write the ladies in a very nice light. 

From Secret Garden:

Let's get into the classic, "Thunder Road" here are some of his not so loving, but 'I want to fuck you' words to Mary.

Early on we get:

Leading us to :

Progressing to;

In "Born to Run" run he's talking to Wendy with a bunch of car metaphors:

And strap your hands 'cross my engines"

Then we have the songs, "The River," "Candy's Room" and "Tunnel of Love" where all three titles are used as vaginal metaphors, made plenty clear by the stories these songs tell.

Then we have the hit song "Fire" that many women call sexy and back in the day was always on "Sexist Song" lists. But you read the lyrics and it doesn't seem sexy. Seems kind of date rapey.

The last example I'll give is "Red Headed Woman." It was written in the early 90's about his second wife. So while the lyrics seem like they were written by a high school sophomore, they were written by a 40 year old male songwriter, who clearly could never get out of his high school boy view of women.

Listen, I'm not here to say we should cancel Bruce Springsteen...I don't speak for everyone, I speak for myself. I cancelled him from my musical preferences years ago, because I saw the bullshit, con-man he was. I often joked about the "You ain't a beauty but hey you're alright" line because its gotta be in the top 5 shittiest ways to tell someone you want to fuck them. But I find it odd how females pick and choose who they will tolerate what from, and Springsteen is one of those that baffles me. Dude is a fake and a scumbag.

Sorry Ladies, It's your Fault!

 Yes, this is last weeks news, but the fact of the matter is, it hasn't been said properly yet. After a New York Times documentary on Britney Spears, of all the problems in this world, they felt that shit was necessary, Justin Timberlake felt the need, or pressure to apologize to her and Janet Jackson. WTF!?!

Yeah, Britney cheated on him, but he felt pressure to apologize 20 years later because in stupid radio interviews he admitted to fucking his then girlfriend Britney. 

  1. We all knew it before it was asked but whatever "shock-jock" at the time.

  2. What young guy doesn't admit to who he fucked, especially if the person he was banging was hot or famous or both?

  3. Have you pearl clutching dolts ever listened to any of the lyrics in her songs?

So this whole Justin Timberlake told people he fucked Britney ruined her life and reputation is bullshit and nonsense! 

As for him apologizing to Janet Jackson, again I say what the fuck!?! Go back and watch that "Super Bowl" performance. The whole thing was sexual tension and flirty and teasing. 

When he ripped off easily removable piece on her one breast exposing the world to a pasty, she wasn't appalled by what he did. 

The much older woman was in on it and looked like she wanted to get backstage and get back to making this face with him.

After the so-called "wardrobe malfunction" Justin's career continued to skyrocket. Both he and Jackson were going to individually be performing at the Grammy's. They told her to stay away, but he was still invited. Her label distanced itself from her and her career has a lull. 

The media in 2021 is trying to frame it as these two moments in Justin Timberlake's career boosted his career but killed Janet and Britney's. They're try to ignore any and all success both women had after. But even if they had none, the media, social media and any and all of you out there are blaming Justin Timberlake, are blaming the wrong people. Yeah, fuck the Grammy's they did Janet dirty. 

But who is really to blame? FEMALES! Yes, women and girls. What was Justin Timberlake's biggest audience? The very same target audience Britney had and a good chunk of the same audience Janet had. Teenage girls and young women. 

No straight guy went to a JT show unless he was going with his girlfriend...And no straight guy was going to a Britney show unless he was with his girlfriend. Janet draws from a wider audience but there is a portion that is the same demographic as JT and Britney. It wasn't JT that hurt there careers, the females turned their backs on them. 

Why didn't they raise their voices when the Grammy's screwed Janet over. They should have been buying her music, merch and tickets in record numbers to show her label to have her back. 

Britney wasn't acting crazy because JT said what we all knew. She kept releasing the same old, 'I'm hot, you want to fuck me songs.' Her act got tired and the girls moved on. 

JT put out better music (honestly not a fan of his crap, not my taste, just know it sounds better) that wasn't like her auto-tuned crap. Dude also can play some instruments, he's funny and is a pretty good actor. 

Females turned their backs on Janet and Britney and now 20 years later they feel guilty and need a scapegoat. Justin, you should have told everyone to fuck off! you got nothing to apologize for.

Trump vs. Goodyear and The Truth About "MAGA"

  

So today, Idiot Trump launched an attack on the tire company Goodyear...The true king of "fake news' got some fake news whispered into his ear that Goodyear has banned employees from wearing "MAGA" hats or masks or any "MAGA" gear...The actual facts are that Goodyear has a policy that does not permit any political gear to be worn at work by it's employees...No Biden gear, no Trump gear, no Green party gear, no Bernie Gear, none of it...And in case you were totally fucking clueless, many work places have you sign code of conduct policies books, or forms, or what have you, an in there most of them make it clear that political gear is not allowed...I have worked places were political talk is not permitted...

So right off the bat, Trump is wrong and he's an idiot...and so are his loyal, retarded followers...Donny boy had his tantrum and tweeted that everyone should boycott Goodyear....

Goodyear is an American company...An American company that has kept it's jobs in America...Based in Akron, Ohio...Founded there and have kept their headquarters there, employing thousands of Americans and Ohioans...Ohio, which is always a swing state come election years...I beg all my brothers and sisters back home in Ohio...DO NOT VOTE FOR TRUMP! If you didn't already realize he doesn't give a fuck about you...Ohio, he just made it real fucking clear...He does not are about you...

Of course he didn't back down, because facts don't matter to Trump...It was clear that until late in the day the fucking dolt didn't know that Goodyear is "the exclusive tire of the Presidential limousine and standard tire for the U.S. Secret Service"...And has been for DECADES....but he didn't back off and said he was considering changing tire companies...

Trump's actions once again, contradict his slogan...His battle cry...That bullshit that his loyal idiots eat up..."MAGA"..."Make America Great Again"....Making up fake policies about an American company and telling Americans to boycott that company does not make this country great...Trumpers scream for American jobs... keep companies and jobs in America...Buy American...Then they turn around and try to destroy a great American company and buy Trump's made in China gear...

The hypocrisy doesn't stop there...It never stops with Trump and his merry band of ignorant fucking fools....They say they are patriotic while they wave the Confederate and Nazi flags...I read an article from some horse shit Christian website today, because I like to keep tabs on all their lies and deceit, where this asshole Trump said he "talked to God" and "they will fix the economy" and make it "better then ever"....Which leads me back to THIS post where I asked where Trump attends Church and when? I asked on Twitter and Facebook too...No one has ever been able to answer...Because he doesn't...He golfs, on our taxpayer dimes...He says bullshit, ignorant fools will believe...The man is the farthest thing from what the true meaning of Christian is...

The Hypocrisy of Comedians

Yesterday I posted THIS....It got some good feedback and of course I got some backlash...It got me thinking about something that has bothered me for years...

I love standup comedy...I have since I was a little kid...I remember sneaking into a backyard in my neighborhood were my older brothers and their friends were listening to a new Eddie Murphy cassette without all the parents knowing...I loved it all growing up...I'd watch any comedy special that came on HBO...I watched MTV's "Half Hour, Comedy Hour" religiously, and "Evening at the Improve"...I love the craft or art...Yes, I put it up on that type of pedestal...

As the years have gone on, standup has had it's ups and downs...And my tastes changed...I got over the Andrew Dice Clay phase and got into more thought provoking comedy...Don't get me wrong, I'll always enjoy a shit or dick or pussy joke...

Then the 2000's came and with it, Social Media and Blogging came too...These gave celebrities, Comics included, another way to reach their audience and promote their shit...It also gave us regular fuckers a voice...An outlet for us to express our thoughts and opinions to our friends, who we don't work with or don't live right next door...But also to the masses...To anyone who may be interested....I started blogging about sports in 2007 at Sporting News...Over the years I started branching off into different directions, talking about whatever was in my head...

During that time and it as continued...Different points in time more surges in it...Comedians bitching about bloggers...and really, anyone on social media who doesn't have a "Blue Checkmark"...Many of them are comics I love...I often blow it off, because I'm a fan...Bill Burr is my favorite and he shits on bloggers religiously...Jim Norton who I've always been a fan of, bought both his books, saw him live, he shits on regular people tweeting and bloggers all the time...He's written what are in essence blogs, for major publications occasionally...But for him, it's not a blog, it's an "Article"...

Then there is the subject of my blog yesterday...Joe Rogan...Joe Rogan use to write blogs regularly on his website...But it doesn't count if I write a blog on my website...Comedians love to scream about the Freedom of Speech...And they will go to war with the whole fucking world  to say whatever they want...They will scream and fight, scratch and claw for their right to even tell a bad joke...a shitty joke...an offensive joke...a rape joke...And my meaningless voice has stood by them...





Now Comics are screaming everything that doesn't agree with them is "Cancel Culture"...My post yesterday was called "Cancel Culture"...It isn't...Joe Rogan can go on doing what he does...I'll probably watch his next standup special...I just want people to realize, he's often full of shit...and often on the wrong side of topics...

I'm sick of Comedians bitch, moaning and complaining about you and me saying what we want on Twitter and Blogs but screaming about their right to say whatever they want...Freedom of Speech is for everyone....EVERYONE! 

Not just arrogant assholes with "Blue Checkmarks"...EVERYONE!
