Bill Burr is the Hero We Need

 

It seems to be a quarterly event that Twitter gets upset and tries to attack and "cancel" comedian Bill Burr. What did he do that was so bad? Nothing! He got a gig announcing Grammy winners for the virtual part of the Grammy's that isn't the big TV production and a bunch of awards that white America and mainstream America/media doesn't give a shit about. Oh, and he made jokes. Including jokes at his inability to pronounce names correctly and the fact that his pasty white-male self was up there giving out awards for a number of "Latin" categories.

The fact that he went with a Dokken reference was hilarious!

So, lead by white people, the cries of "Bill Burr is a racist" came flooding onto Twitter. 

Just last week on one of his podcasts he was mocking the people who were acting shocked that the "Royal Family" might be racist after hearing one of them asked "How dark" will the baby be,  Burr went on to say if there was any proof you needed how races should mix if a couple is so inclined, look no further than "my two beautiful kids." He then mocked his own "pasty," "awful" looks and gave his lovely, (black) wife Nia all the credit for their children's beauty.

If you know anything about Bill Burr and his comedy, he makes fun of everyone. EVERYONE. And he does not apologize for any of it. 

The right will tell you that "cancel culture" is a weapon of the left. It isn't. It's used by both sides, both parties, as Congressman, Jamie Raskin pointed out last week, calling out fellow Congressman, Jim Jordan.

That being said, this latest bullshit, calling Bill Burr a racist is coming from the left. A very clueless, ignorant, loves to be triggered, left. A heavily white, left that loves to say 'look at me! I'm a good white person!' Thing is, if you have to say it, you aren't! 

Then I saw this shit, that Bill's wife Nia quote tweeted:

This dude just called Nia Renee Hill, Bill Burr's "minority sex servant" and that Burr owns her. Not only is that some of the most racist shit I have heard/read, but its some of the most sexist shit I've heard/read. So all you triggered fucking assholes, feel free to "cancel" Clayburn Griffin!

The last time people tried and greatly failed at "cancelling" Bill Burr was after his SNL appearance. That time he got it from both the right and left and mainly white women from both sides. But guess what...Besides doing his job as a comic and being funny, everything he said was true.

Not all heroes wear capes. To bastardize a Batman Quote, Bill Burr isn't the hero we deserve right now, but he's the hero we need.

Monday Moaning

How was your weekend? Not as fun as it would have been if you were with her I'm guessing...

I had some quality time with the kids Saturday...Building snow forts with my son and Molly, and sledding down our mini hill...As much as I was disliking Winter in my post on late Friday night/Saturday morning, kids know how to make it fun....

Later that evening, I took my daughter to the Father/Daughter Dance at their school...That's always a nice time for us...The girls get to have fun together, and the dads get to shoot the shit and catch up...And yes, some quality one on one time with our girls...

-Did you see Gronk spiked the puck at a Bruins game this weekend? Of course you did!




Shit, it's Gronk...All he does, is catch passes, party, screw chicks, and spike shit...I hope he trademarks his damn spike before the NFL does, and screws him out of all kinds of cash...

-The Grammy's were Sunday....Luckily I had to work...But I saw some shit pop up on facebook and twitter....I guess that ass-hat Kanye West ran up on stage when Beck won "Album of the Year...He stopped himself, and played it off like a joke...But in a post show interview, made it clear he wasn't joking...

I just know that the Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We ain’t gonna play with them no more. “Flawless,” Beyoncé video. And Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé and at this point, we tired of it. Because what happens is when you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you’re disrespectful to inspiration. And we as musicians have to inspire people who go to work every day. And they listen to that Beyoncé album and they feel like it takes them to another place. Then they do this whole promotional event, that, you know, they’ll run the music over somebody’s speech, the artist, because they want a commercial advertising. Like no, we not playing with them no more. And by the way, I got my wife, I got my daughter, and I got my clothing line so I’m not going to do nothing to put my daughter at risk — but I am here to fight for creativity. That’s the reason why I didn’t say anything tonight. But y’all know what it meant when ‘Ye walked on the stage.

Okay, let me dissect the idiotic shit that just fell out of this fuck-tards face...Apparently, Beyoncé is the only fucking "Artist" out there...I'll be honest, I haven't heard her album, nor have I heard Beck's album...I'm no fan of Beck, but the guy writes all his shit...He plays all his shit...I would consider him an artist...Beck doesn't owe Beyoncé shit...I've heard, and read some of her lyrics...I even wrote a blog about one of her ignorant songs a couple years ago...People write music for Beyoncé to shake her ass to, (or "sample") and lay down her vocals over...Yeah, she can sing...Way to go!  I'm not that fucking impressed...

And who's fucking Beyoncé? Jay-Z or you...Because you're the guy constantly running to her defense...Are you just that thirsty for that ass you can't get? Or did you get it, and can't get enough...Last I saw, you had a disgustingly fat ass at home on your gash of a wife!

Next...Kanye, could you please go back to 5th grade fucking English class...Holy fucking, shit on a cracker...Were you having a competition with some one on who could use the worst fucking grammar?  Please, please give us just one more double negative, it makes you sound so fucking smart!

And since Kanye considers himself an artist as well...I just want to ask this...What has he written that was original...Not all that sweet "sampled" music...And not his stupid fucking lyrics...I can go to work today and get at least two guys to throw down a rap and it will be more original then the crap you constantly recycle...

Why are you threatening to not take part in the Grammy's anymore...Do everyone a favor...Don't show up...No one will miss you...I promise...Everyone is always happy to have one less giant fucking asshole at the party!

Also, referring to yourself as "Ye" really makes you sound a like a douche-snozzle...

Of all the rappers that get shot, why hasn't anyone shot this fucking dolt!

I think Kanye was a little pissed that he lost to Kendric Lamar as well!

I just looked at the list of winners....Who the fuck are these people...Ryan Adams lost...The Grammys suck balls!

-Lastly...Before I sat down to write...I watched the ESPN 30 for 30 "Miracles of Men"...I hate ESPN, but the 30 for 30 series is great...This one was about the opposing side of the "Miracle on Ice"...A look from the Russian players perspective...But it gives you the History of Hockey in Russia, up through the first Russian to getting into the NHL. ( He was on the 1980 team)...It's really good...Give it a watch.

The Beeze's Hump Day Hits

Ahhh, as American as warm apple pie! Yes, it's time for the Hump Day hits again...We took last week off, and we're posting early this week, or else it won't get posted at all...

What's first this week...Well the NFL labor talks haven't been going very well so far, and even the talking heads who had been positive that a deal would get done, are changing their tune now...Owners ripping players during talks...Yes, Carolina's Jerry Richardson ripped Peyton Manning...Hey asshole, that's my job! He also dissed Drew Brees...Reports say Richardson was sarcastic when Manning was talking about players' safety...Richardson said, "What do you know about player safety?"

What a dick! Some one should have asked him what he knows about running a football team, seeing as how his sucks balls!

Me personally, I hope there is no NFL next year...Let these rich guys on both sides of the table show their true colors...They've got the hottest ticket around...This country is Football crazy, and loves the NFL...They all make a fortune off of us fans, and these millionaires are all gonna bitch about money...Fuck'em! I'll watch college and high school football...I'm from Cleveland, I'm use to not having NFL Football!

The St. Louis Cardinals have offered Albert Pulos $200 million over 8 years...They are fucking nuts...The guys numbers have been slipping for the last few years...His strikeouts are up...Doubles are down...Average is down...He's become just a power hitter...And I hate to agree with Colin Cowherd, but power hitters are in the top 3 most overpaid professional athletes...And 8 years...Dude doesn't have 8 great years left in him...Maybe 5 good years...This is why baseball continues to struggle...The award contracts based on what you use to do, and not what you can do..."Baseball is always looking in the rear-view mirror"...

Next, I have to hit on the Grammy's briefly...I watched a lot of the show, and I have to say, most of it sucked...Most of the music nominated, sucked...Most of the music performed sucked...And most of the show as a whole sucked...And please, nobody tell me again how great Arcade Fire is...All they did was blind everyone with their non-stop strobing lights, so they couldn't see the band play very average music, and scream into their mics...And why do so many bands now sound like they're just ripping crap from the '80s?




Next thing about the Grammy's and all award shows really...Can stupid gay guys stop telling us what is a fashion disaster...Yes, some gay guy said that Rihanna's dress was a "fashion disaster"...



Dude, this is fashion gold....That's the type of dress we need to see more of...Excuse me while I look just a bit more...

Now for the most important part of Hump Day...This week we're going to look at the new Adam Sandler movie that the media has been trying to force down our throats...On this fine Hump day, Which of Sandler's lovely co-stars would you most like to Hump?
