This Is F**ked Up!

Before I show you what is so f**ked up...At least in my opinion...I want to share this...I started blogging a little over a year ago at Sporting News...Then I started this blog and others...Before all this, I never had a computer...I didn't like them, never wanted one...I thought technology would be our downfall...That may still be true...But I have come to love the Internet, and technology, and all the things it can bring me...

I use to say twitter was "gay"...Gay in that 6th grade way, that is you trashing something you know nothing about...Now, because of twitter, I learn something new every day...Including how twisted and f**ked up people are...So much so, that they make me look sane...Here is an example...
-

Now the video...

This ad was created by the company DDB Brasil for the World Wildlife Foundation...The WWF is claiming they didn't approve it...While DDB Brasil president says they did approve it...The add was run one time...Then submitted for an award...Still with the WWF logo on it...I don't care who did or didn't approve...F**k them all...

I'm okay with ads trying to make a point...But this one went the wrong to try and make their point...

With technology, I guess we get the good and the bad...The bad being douche bags taking 9/11 and turning it into a sh!tty, preachy ad...The good being me finding it, sharing it, and ranting about it...

Later, The Beeze.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks this is f**ked up!

WWF just tweeted this to me..."wwf_us@TheBeeze34 WWF strongly condemns Brazilian ad and apologizes to 9-11 victims and families. http://bit.ly/IQ1xR #WWFUS #WWF"

The Link goes here...http://www.worldwildlife.org/who/media/press/2009/WWFPresitem13559.html

I could care less about their apology, because I think it's bullshit...They were involved in some way and are now back peddling...Why didn't they use the video of the little kid on the beach getting swallowed up by the tsunami? Pussies!

This is some of what I pulled on DDB from Wikipedia...

"DDB Worldwide Communications Group Inc, a part of Omnicom Group Inc., is the advertising agency company with highest revenue in the world at US$12.69 billion, according to Advertising Age's agency rankings (April 2008)[1]. DDB is also cited as one of the leading creative agencies in the world by The Gunn Report (November 2007), The International Advertising Festival (June 2008), Campaign (November 2007), and Businessweek (February 2008). It has more than 200 offices in over 90 countries.

The DDB network serves a range of multinational clients, among them McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Royal Philips Electronics, Clorox, Anheuser-Busch, Johnson & Johnson, Henkel and ExxonMobil. DDB offers a range of services from traditional advertising to direct marketing, sales promotion, strategic consulting and digital marketing, through such business units as Rapp Collins, TracyLocke and Tribal DDB."

Some big Clients there!
