Could Patrick Kane be Traded?

Up to this point, there has not been any resolution to the Patrick Kane rape allegations...There has been much rumor and speculation, but no charges filed against Kane yet...But that hasn't stopped much of the media painting him as rapist...And the Chicago Blackhawks have remained pretty quiet about it all as well, but have made it clear they are ready to move forward with or without Kane no matter what the outcome...

Without seems to be a very big possibility, innocent or guilty....Chicago Sun Times reporter Mark Lazerus is reporting that "at least five teams have contacted the Blackhawks," since the investigation surrounding Kane has started...Clearly, there are teams not very concerned with the allegations...

There have been rumblings that the 'Hawks have been unhappy with Kane's partying...They were unhappy about the 2009 incident with a Buffalo Cabby...They were pissed about his Cinco de Mayo partying in Madison Wisconsin in 2012...And they weren't pleased during this year's Stanley Cup celebration when Kane announced he was going to "act the fool"...

Funny how they love his on ice performance, a key part of 3 Stanley Cup teams...A Conn Smythe performance in the 2012-13 Stanley Cup run...An elite NHL winger...They love his on ice performance so much that he walks into the 2015-16 season with a 8 year, $84 million dollar contract...

What is that old saying?   "You gotta take the good with the bad!"

26 year old Hockey superstar likes to party...Not a huge shocker...And it hasn't screwed up his game...Yes, there is this Sexual Assault cloud over his head now...But there are no charges...And based off of what SPORTS MOCKERY is reporting, I don't expect there to be any charges...

I don't blame any team for talking to Chicago about a deal for Kane...They're frustrated by his off-ice shit...And they still need to clear some cap space...I'd snatch him up in a heartbeat...Does he show some bad judgement? Sure...Does he get paid to put points up? Yes...Does he put up points?  Yes...Is he paid to not drink, and not pick up ladies? No...And there is hope he can learn from this recent headache....

I won't blame Chicago if they move Kane...They could land a good haul, and free up some salary cap space...And they can feel good about standing on some type of moral ground by running a 26 year old, booze swilling, horn-dog out of town, claiming to not want the distractions...

What's next for this saga?
