PUKE

This may seem like a strange topic, but roll with me here...

We always hear how things are gonna change when we have kids...But we often aren't told exactly what is gonna change...Some things are easy to figure out, but it's the odd little things that I'm thinking about today...

Last night the little Beeze got sick...he kept saying how his belly hurt, and eventually he puked his f*cking brains out all over the kitchen...It even came out his nose...He puked so hard he shit his pants too...Poor little dude was feeling awful....

But here is the weird part of all this...Before I had kids...If somebody, child or not...Puked on and around me...A.) It would piss me off...B.) I would feel sick myself....C.) If they also shit themselves I would still feel sick myself, but I would quietly laugh about it....

But now with kids...I just push right through it...I got the little guy in the tub...cleaned him up...got his PJs on....Got him comfortable on the couch...Then I cleaned the kitchen and got the puke covered clothes going in the washer...All this while I ate some Pizza Rolls...

Before kids I wouldn't think of eating Pizza Rolls after being in that situation...But something happens when you have kids...Things do change...Your mental makeup changes...Things like puke don't faze you anymore...You do what you have to for your kids, and still manage to stuff you gob...
