We always hear how things are gonna change when we have kids...But we often aren't told exactly what is gonna change...Some things are easy to figure out, but it's the odd little things that I'm thinking about today...
Saturday, the Fighting Irish clinched the CCHA regular season title with a 1-0 victory over the Mavericks...The lone goal scorer was Dan Kissel...Pearce made 17 saves in the shutout victory...
In other Notre Dame News...I thought I'd share this years Notre Dame Football recruits...With a little help from BlueandGold.com...

Also, The Irish have put 33 offers out there for the 2010 class, and have already received 3 verbal commitments...
That's it for this Monday...I've got to get to bed...Have a good week...
Later, The Beeze.
I live in a small community near Cleveland...Our town is Brooklyn, Ohio...So close to Cleveland that I can spit there from my front porch...Put far enough away to send my kids to better schools...Brooklyn is a small close-nit community...It was also thought of as a hockey town...But the Brooklyn Hurricanes High School hockey program fell on hard times...But due to hard work and determination the program has started turning around...
That said when the 'Canes take the ice there are only 8 players...One of those, who has been a key to the turnaround is Goalie "Ish" Qasem..."Ish" short for Ismael...
Now let's get to the important stuff...That's right...Notre Dame Hockey!!!
The new ice arena will be located south of the Joyce Center, and west of where the new Irish track and field facility is being constructed....The University currently is in the process of building new stadiums for both soccer and lacrosse which are scheduled for completion this year...
Now on to this weekend's games...
Friday night the Irish scored 6 power play goals on their way to a 9-5 victory over Northern Michigan....the goal scorers were...Garrett Reagan, Erik Condra (2), Ben Ryan, Justin White (2), Ian Cole (2), and Calle Ridderwall....Jordan Pearce did not have his best game, but made 17 saves in the victory...
Saturday night the Fighting Irish handed the Wildcats 5-2 loss...Again it was the power play doing most of the damaged, as Billy Maday, Calle Ridderwall, Kyle Lawson and Ben Ryan all scored power-play goals...Garrett Regan scored the lone even-strength goal...Pearce again was between the pipes making 17 saves in another victory for the top ranked Irish...
That's all for now...Have a good week...Oh yeah...See this and much better blogs than this at....http://www.yougabsports.com/

(what a Douche!)
Friday night the Notre Dame pulled out a 4-3 overtime victory...The goal scorers were....Ian Cole, and Erik Condra (2)....Calle Ridderwall had the overtime game winner...Both of Condra's goals, and Ridderwall's game winner, were all scored on power plays....Goalie Jordan Pearce made 17 saves in the victory...
Sunday afternoon the Buckeyes upset the Irish, handing them a 4-1 loss...Christaan Minella was the lone Irish goal scorer...Pearce made 26 saves in the defeat....
That's it for now gang...Have a good week...
