WTF Blog: Frat Suspended for Singing

I was never a Frat guy, but we all heard stories of the fucked-up, awful, often homoerotic shit they did...But after seeing this story, I'm left scratching my head...

Ohio University’s Acacia fraternity chapter has been suspended pending a university investigation...What did these guys do that was so awful?  This...

They sang a horned up version of "Hey Jude" to sorority girls...

"Send nudes, don’t let me down. Take my soft dick, and make it harder."

Seriously? That's all?  They didn't rush in there and start ravaging the girls...They didn't spray paint cocks and balls all over the house...They didn't call they cunts or whores or sperm burping gutter sluts...They sang a silly song...They politely said, 'we think you're hot, and would like to hook-up, but some nude pics will be fine for us to circle-jerk to!'

Now it is rumored that Acacia has a history of sexual misconduct and assault...They are rumored to have pulled the old Bill Cosby by drugging drinks and raping girls...But so far there has been no evidence and no charges...

There is a history of violence and perversion in Fraternities, and if Acacia has a reputation for that, it seems like the University is using this nonsense as a way to try to take them down...

Listen, as far as I'm concerned, 90% of frat guys are fucking assholes...50% are closet cases...I never thought I would write anything that would even halfheartedly defend frat guys, but this seems like the PC Police trying to deal with a problem, via some bullshit, trumped up charges...

I'm also bothered, because we are talking about Ohio University...The school that was Playboy Magazine's "#1 Party School" for so long, that Playboy eventually took them out of the running...The place is a really good school, that is also well known for it's drunken stupidity...

You want to bust a Frat for being scumbags, go for it...Busting them for a stupid song, shows just how full of bullshit we are becoming in this country.
