Patrick Kane Won't be Charged with Rape

I have been tracking the Patrick Kane Rape allegations for some TIME, and  I even went as far as to say, he was SET UP...I felt even more confident in that when the guy who was his driver on the night in question, a police officer, came out and said much of what the accuser said was bullshit...

Now, from information coming out from The Buffalo News, the Hamburg Police Department, and the Erie County District Attorney's Office, Kane won't be charged with Rape or Sexual Assault..."at this time"...The reason?  A lack of evidence...

Remember, in this country, the law says Innocent until proven Guilty...

It was reported yesterday that Kane had met with investigators...And later it came out from WGRZ, that no settlement agreements have been discussed...I'm glad to see that...I hate when people claim to be innocent while they pay accusers off...

A source via Sports Mockery that has been spot-on throughout this whole thing with details about the accuser, gave this bit of information...

"Kane will be cleared because of lack of evidence indicating a rape occurred. The alleged victim has been informed and is hysterical crying.

Investigators called the alleged victims lawyers last night , said not enough evidence to charge Kane “at this time” they will continue to investigate to see if any other leads or witnesses come forward."

Someone within the Buffalo Police Department also said,

"I was told that court security personnel and officers who are not currently on vacation were told they should remain the the area and available. Presumably for an upcoming press conference, however that could take a while."

Kane's lawyer, Paul Cambria has not commented...But they could be because he will prefer to do some grandstanding at a press conference, as those lawyers love to do...

Now, are all those people that automatically assumed Kane was guilty, and trashed him going to come out with apologies...Post articles with huge letters that say, 'We're Sorry We Called Patrick Kane a Rapist'....I fucking doubt it!

More Rumblings about the Patrick Kane Drama

Some people are upset that The Buffalo News ran with some quotes from the owner of Skybar...The place were the alleged events involving Patrick Kane and a 20-something former University of Buffalo cheerleader, began...Here is what The Buffalo News published...

SkyBar’s owner, Mark Croce, told The Buffalo News on Saturday night that he has no way of knowing what happened between the woman and Kane at Kane’s home. He said he only knows Kane casually and has never been to his home.
But Croce told The News that he and several of his employees noticed a young woman “hanging all over” Kane at SkyBar for at least two hours that night, putting her hands on his arms and “being very forward, very flirtatious with him.” He said he does not know the woman and does not know her name.
“It was almost like she stationed herself near him and was keeping other women away from him,” Croce said. “I noticed it and kind of laughed about it.”
A bar manager that night also noticed the woman’s behavior with Kane, Croce said.
Croce said the woman and a female friend “followed” Kane as he left the nightclub with a couple of male friends around 3 a.m. last Sunday.

Well, it's clear the bar owner is painting Kane's accuser in a certain light...And then there are rumors that are being reported...Strictly rumors here shared with  SPORTS MOCKERY...Supposedly Kane's accuser and friends took  "MOLLY" before hitting Skybar, and meeting Kane...Most think Kane and his accuser had no prior relationship...
It is also reported that the accuser deleted her Twitter and Instagram accounts, before going to the police...Which would suggest to this cynical bastard that she had things on there that wouldn't look good for a girl crying rape...What also doesn't look good is this text that Sports Mokery got a hold of, that is said to be from some one with first-hand knowledge of the night's events...

Yes, everything here is putting the alleged victim in a bad light...So some one will get angry that I am not sticking up for a rape victim...Some one will share a link of this post and tag it with #RapeCulture...Rape is horrible, and I am all for killing rapists...But it has to be proven, not just an accusation...The other side of #RapeCulture is woman lying and ruining an innocent man's life...
There is at least one reason, if not more, for why the police have not charged Kane with anything yet...I'm not saying he's innocent...And I'm not saying guilty...Nor am I saying the accuser is a liar...I'm just putting out there, what little we know, or is rumored so far.

Is Patrick Kane Ready for the NFL?

Yes, with Patrick Kane being investigated for "sexual assualt" or Rape, I managed to throw in a dig at the NFL for all their CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR...

Chicago Blackhawks star winger, Patrick Kane is being investigated for a possible sexual assualt...Although Hamburg, New York police chief, Gregory G. Wickett tried to dance around the question, telling The Buffalo News, "We can neither confirm nor deny the existence or nonexistence of a criminal investigation until such a time as a person is charged with a crime,"

The possible incident is reported to have occurred last weekend...Neighbors of Kane have told the Chicago Tribune that police arrived at his lakefront home Sunday night...Several officers were seen entering the home with flashlights...At least one plainclothes officer was taking pictures outside...

NHL group VP of Communications, Frank Brown said,  "We are aware of the police investigation and are following developments,"

The Chicago Blackhawks said in a statement, "We are aware of the matter and are in the process of gathering information. It would be inappropriate to comment further at this time."

This isn't the first time Kane has been in trouble with the law...In 2009 he and a cousin plead guilty to disorderly conduct, after an incident where a Buffalo taxi driver was roughed up over $10...

No charges have been filed yet...It is just at the investigation level...

The 4-time All-Star, and 3-time Stanley Cup winner, signed a $84 million contract extension last Summer, that kicks in this coming season.
