Monday Moaning

Alright, before we get to my weekend, which wasn't the best...Let's recap last week...In case you missed my blogs through the week, well I guess I should have expected the weekend to go bad too...It started Tuesday with my rage for what happened in CHINA ...

Then I had my view on this PINK trend...Then I gave my State of the BROWNS address, a day before the walrus Mike Holmgren did...And then there was this whole shooting wild animals THING ...

Then there was the weekend...The Fighting Irish Hockey team opened the new Compton Family Ice Arena...

There's Lefty Smith dropping the first puck...The Irish opened their new home in style, beating RPI 5-2, lead by sophomore Anders Lee's hat-trick! The arena is a beautiful, top-notch facility, that is just going to improve Notre Dame's recruiting ability...The Irish Hockey program has been on the rise for the last 5 years, and this will take them to the next level, which is good since they'll be joining the Hockey_East Conference in the 2013 season...

But that wasn't all going at the Notre Dame campus...The place was all fired up...It was USC week, with a big, prime-time game Saturday night...Here's a bad video of the Midnight Drum Circle...It's amazing how much energy a campus can have before a big game...

That night, I found out my wife's uncle passed away, so that brought the mood down to the dumper...

Saturday afternoon 2U was playing before the game...The best U2 tribute band around! Again, the energy was amazing...

Then the game started...Now, Notre Dame had two weeks to get ready for this...And over the last week, most of what I read about was stupid shit...Like how the helmets were painted extra gold, to look more like the Golden Dome itself...

And how Coach Kelly wanted the crowd to be pumped, and keep the team pumped...They were going to hand out towels to wave, and blast music...Yeah, it's the students fault your team is obsessed with turning the ball over! (sense my mood swing yet)

Hey Coach, blasting "Crazy Train" every single, fucking, third down play, isn't going to help your defense get the stop...Clearly, since every time I heard "Crazy Train" USC would convert for a first down...As a matter of fact, it was fucking annoying!

The Irish lost 31-17, but it wasn't even that close...Freshman George Atkinson's kickoff return for a TD was the Notre Dame highlight...It was what we all hoped would spark the team, but USC would have none of it...Their O-Line over-powered the Irish front seven, all night...And then there were the turnover, again...The 80 yard fumble return for a TD was the kill shot...It was just ugly...All that energy, and excitement, just shot to hell...

Luckily, I got to watch the exciting ending of the Michigan State/Wisconsin game...Nothing like a game ending Hail Mary...

WOW!

Sunday, I watched the Browns win an epic battle with the Seahawks, 6-3...This may have been one of the ugliest games ever...People say, "A win is a win"...This didn't feel like a win...Luckily, I was distracted taking care of the Little Beeze and the baby on my own...She's got a bug, and the highlight was when she crapping her brains out, she started coughing, choked on the phlegm, and puke her guts out all over...Baby shit, and puke everywhere...

Why was I flying solo...The Mrs. took our oldest to the Train Concert in Erie, PA...I'll take baby puke and shit any day over Train and their 3rd grader rhyme schemes!

That's it for now...

Later, The Beeze.

Monday Moaning

DO I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION?

Yes, once again I'm using a delicious piece of ass to attract your attention...If you've come here to read about the battle between the Manning brothers...Sorry, you're out of luck...You can get that crap at any sports site...Fuck Peyton, Eli, and their c*nt, overrated, father Archie...So what will this blog be about today...I don't know...Let's find out together...

If you missed my write up on the Notre Dame, Michigan State game,
HERE_IT_IS...

It's an odd feeling when your team gets beat by a rival, but you leave having to respect the hell out of the opponent...But that's what happened Saturday night after Michigan State pulled ballsiest calls I've seen...Sadly the celebration didn't last long for the Spartans...Coach Mark Dantonio(54) suffered a heart attack shortly after the games conclusion...Dantonio underwent surgery to have a stent put in that restored blood flow...He's expected to remain in the hospital for a few days...Once again, another reminder that sports are just sports, and that there are many more important things in life...You know, like living...

Speaking of heart attacks...Sunday I had my first Five Guys Burgers and Fries experience...

I've been hearing a lot about this place...People love it...My daughter loves the fries...So we checked it out...The fries were excellent...And the Bacon Cheeseburger I had, which is really a double cheeseburger, was awesome...But afterwards I felt like a lump of shit...I've realized I have to stop eating wonderful shit like that...It's gonna kill my fat ass...Here I thought my wife has been saying no to having sex because she's sick of getting pregnant...Maybe it's because she doesn't want to have to crack my chest open as I'm cumming...

ARE YOU STILL WITH ME?

In other Sports news...Brett Favre played like shit Sunday...3 interceptions from the old guy...Stupid Brett just could walk away...I'm really going to enjoy watching him completely tarnish his career this season, week after week of throwing picks!

Speaking of sucking...The Browns lost to the Chiefs 16-14 in the 'Battle of Boring Ass Teams'...

The Texans are 2-0 after coming back and beating the Redskins in overtime...This was the 'Battle of Who has the Worst Secondary'...Texans QB Matt Schaub passed for 497 yards, while Donovan McNabb threw for 426 yards...

In the 'Battle of who could care less' the Raiders beat the Rams...

The BIG game was the Patriots at the Jets...This game had me scratching my head as Tom Brady (1 fumble and 2 interceptions) looked more like Mark Sanchez (no fumbles or interceptions...The big mouth Jets dominated the second half and won 28-14...

In little Beeze news, we're getting ready for his birthday, and the list of gifts he wants keeps growing...Hey kid, people in hell want ice water! Also this week, he pushed his sister to her limit, which is hard to do...But the other night he did it, and he paid the price, as she shoved him off a bed...The way he fell, it looked like he was going to break his arm, but some how his arm was fine and his left hip hurt...It's hard to get mad at her, since he's had it coming, plus she immediately felt awful about it...I gotta toughen her up...

I'd like to ask you all to have a good thought for my friend
B-DUB and his family...

Oh and one last thing before I go...I want to make sure you're still paying attention...

Are You F**king Kidding Me?

I'm pretty sure that's what Coach Brian Kelly said to Michigan State head coach, Mark Dantonio after the Fighting Irish's loss to the Spartans Saturday Night...Why? Let me tell you...

It seems for the past ten years, every game between these two teams is a down to the wire battle...Always a back and forth, whoever has the ball last wins type of game...Saturday's game was shaping up to be the same...

The Irish got on the board first with a touchdown pass from Dayne Crist, to Michael Floyd...The Spartans answered back in the second quarter and even though both teams moved the ball pretty well, the game went to halftime tied at 7...Then the 3rd quarter happened...

MSU's Edwin Baker scored on a 56 yard run...Crist answered back with a ten yard strike to Tight End Kyle Rudolph...Then MSU freshman running back Le'Veon Bell took one in for 16 yards...The Irish drove back down again, and Crist hit Theo Riddick with a 15 yard TD pass...Riddick had a nice game, 10 receptions, for 128 yards and the TD...

Then the Irish defense nutted up and held serve...(Look at that, I just used a Tennis term) In the fourth quarter Crist hit Floyd again on for a 24 yard TD pass...The Spartans responded with a 24 yard TD pass from Kirk Cousins, to B.J. Cummingham...The Irish got the ball back, and were stopped on a fourth and one on their side of the 50...I really thought that call was going to cost ND the game, and make me truly hate Brian Kelly...The Notre Dame defense has had trouble closing games, and now they needed to make some big plays, and they did...Shutting down the Spartans and pushing them back into their own end of the field...Both teams would get the ball one more time and exchange punts...Then it was on to overtime...

Notre Dame got the ball first, and the Spartan defense stepped up again, and made them settle for a field goal...Now the pressure was on the Irish defense again...Now I'm pacing around the living room...trying my best not to wake the rest of the house...Win or lose, I'm going to make some kind of noise...

So what happens...The Irish defense shows up big, and pushes the Spartans back...Now they are lining up for a 46 yard field goal, with an inexperienced kicker...The call that Dantonio makes next can only be described as the 'I have balls 10 times bigger then you' call...FAKE FIELD GOAL...Holder, Aaron Bates takes the snap, takes a couple steps right, pulls up, and throws a 29 yard pass to tight end Charlie Gantt for the game winning touchdown...And I puke in my soup...

My hope of the Irish winning a minimum of 8 games is quickly slipping away...Turning the ball over 3 times and giving up 477 yards(274 passing, 203rushing) is going to beat you more times than not...

Crist finished with 369 yards passing, and the 4 touchdowns...He completed 32 of 55 passes...Floyd had 6 receptions for 81 yards, and 2 TD's...Rudolph caught 8 for 80 yards and 1 TD...Armando Allen caught 6 passes for 70 yards, and carried the ball 13 times for 71 yards...

There is plenty of talent on the offensive side of the ball, but the defense keeps getting beat for big plays...Some on the ground and some through the air...The corners are good, but the safeties seem to get beat deep...The biggest problem the defense has had is finishing games...Well they played well in the 4th and OT, but got beat down in the 3rd...So now the goal has to be for the defense to play a complete game...

Seriously, I need to puke...I don't know if I can handle another long, painful, season...Oh, and Mark Dantonio, great call...I hate you!

Later, The Beeze.
