Monday Moaning

Hello Gang! I was looking at some past Monday Moaning stats, and realized, that this lovely Brit model, (my favorite) Rosie Jones has graced the top of more editions of Monday Moaning, then any other lovely I have posted...

I was also surprised to see just how many pictures of my kids made it into posts...(Especially baby Molly)  Why was I looking up these things?

Well, I was fully prepared to sit here and type out my last Monday Moaning...Last as in, that's it, I'm out...I told Sully and Jeff this week that for the Gab to be what I want it to be, it would be best if I wasn't involved...I've been often absent as a owner/member...Work has eaten up a ton of my time...I try to spend as much of what is left with my family...I have little interest in sports, mainly, because I don't have the time...Hell, Notre Dame played a huge game against FSU and last week the last thing I wanted to do was write about the cock-sucker refs, and what piece of shit Jameis Winston is...So I didn't...

I've had a number of non-sports ideas/topics I wanted to write about, and just didn't...I've had a bit of an 'ahh, fuck it' mentality...Whether that's from being tired, or stressed, or frustrated, or depressed, I don't know...But I don't like it...

Even on my days off I often have to field texts, or calls from work...It's the nature of beast...I barely see my two oldest kids compared to before, and right now, and my son is going through some things, and he needs all the time I can give him...I'm not willing to get into it yet, because we just aren't sure where it's going...There has been a lot of change in our house, and quite a bit of juggling...And I ain't no juggler! It's been tough...

But as I started looking at old stats, and posts, I realized just how much of my life has been shared here, and just how big a part of my life this has become...So, maybe the best way to shake this funk, and work through some of these trials and tribulations, is to push myself to keep writing...Write what's going on...Write what's driving me crazy...Write these other ideas...

So let me ask this of you...Are you okay with me writing whatever is in my head instead of forcing out some half-hearted sports talk? Are you okay with me being a part-timer, when it comes to getting in here on days other then Monday, so I can do what I have to with my juggling act?

If you're okay with that, then I'll keep posting Rosie Jones pics, along with others, along with my ramblings...It might be the therapy I need, and maybe I'll get back to sports...

But right now, this is the most important thing in my world...

Not the giant life-sized Transformers...The kids!


Something else I had done a lot in Monday Moaning was pop in some music...So, I'll close with this...And just know, when this was recorded,  this girl was 16...Fucking talented!

Monday Moaning

Yep...The Bulldogs keep rolling along...They've been creeping up the charts...Well, lets just get right to it...My top 10 teams this week in College Football...

1. Miss State...They jump over Florida State...Why? Because their schedule to this point blows FSU out of the water...They turned the ball over 4 times, and still smoked Auburn...

2. Florida State...They've stayed undefeated...Done what they have to so far...Big game this Saturday with the undefeated Fighting Irish...

3. Ole Miss...The state of Mississippi must be out of their fucking minds...Both their teams just rolling through the SEC...

4. Baylor...Tough team...Down big, and came back big to beat TCU...Could everyone stop talking about TCU's tough defense now...They just gave up 61 points to the Bears!

5. Notre Dame...I would have put my guys in at 4, but Baylor has been more impressive, and the Irish, who's defense has looked so good, just gave up 43 to North Carolina...

Now it just becomes a log jam of 1 loss teams...Oregon, Michigan State, and Auburn would land in the 6, 7, and 8 spots, in no particular order...Then I'm going with Kansas State at 9, and Georgia at 10....


-So this week, the NHL season got into full gear...and one of the oddest things to happen was NHL Analyst, Mike Milbury, a former Coach/GM, and player, saying that "it's time to grow up," and get rid of fighting in hockey...Just to be clear...He did admit to enjoying a fight or two in his day...Yeah, if it wasn't for fighting his career would have ended sooner...




Ok...Now, just so you know, the guy that said "it's time to grow up," is the guy at the top of the screen in this video, in the stands, hitting a fan with his shoe...Fuck you Mike Milbury!

I could except some one else saying lets get rid of fighting...If Gretzky said it, no one would be shocked...But you...You're dick-bag!

Fighting in Hockey is fine...Captain America himself, said so...Yep, The guy who single handedly took Russia out of the Olympics, T.J. Oshie dropped the gloves this week...Oshie can fight...But he's not a fighter...And the guy he fought, Mats Zuccarello isn't a fighter either...just a little runt, who can get under your skin, and won't back down...






And how about this scrap...gotta be the top fight of the opening week...




So lets, recap...Because I just had 3 Moscow Mules after a long week...Milbury= Dick-bag...Hockey= Great!  Fighting in Hockey= Good.

Miss State= Shocking the SEC and the world...

Notre Dame= Needs to play a fuck-ton better to beat those cock suckers at FSU this week...

Monday Moaning

Cute Puppy!


Well, my ten day vacation from work has come to a close...I enjoyed some time with family...Then throughout the week, each of the kids managed to get sick...On my birthday I received well wishes, a shirt that my wife liked, so I just handed it back to her...(she often buys things she likes, so she can steal it)...This is why I just prefer to wear Notre Dame and New York Rangers gear as often as possible....Molly and I went to the bakery, where she picked out cupcakes for us to have...And we ordered little Beeze's cake...He and the oldest were both home sick from school, but managed to pound the cupcakes down before anyone said Happy birthday!

I also got what has become a traditional text from wife on  my B-day..."I got my period"...While, frustrating, because damn it, I want birthday sex, it seems to be good news, since she was a month late...(new medication threw her out of whack)

A couple days later, the boy's day was here...Dinner, presents, cake, puke...Yep, he wasn't quite ready for all the goodness...Good times...That Triple chocolate cake just didn't look good coming back up!
But otherwise, he was pleased...

Then the wife and oldest left me alone with molly and sicko Friday, as they went to Philly for a funeral...Philly, Bill Burr SUMMED that place up....

Then came Saturday...Holy fucking College Football fuck-fest!  ( the fun started Thursday night)

Yes, some of us are laughing our asses off...For the dopes, L for LSU losing, M for Michigan losing again, those fuck-tards should have fired Hoke...A for Alabama losing...And O for Oregon losing Thursday night...Big shake up in the teams...

Miss State beating Texas A&M early Saturday was just a warm-up...The Aggies were exposed by Arkansas, and Miss St. took the blueprint, and closed the deal that the Razorbacks couldn't...Ole Miss beat Alabama...Auburn took LSU out of any chance of sneaking into playoff talk...TCU shocked Oklahoma...UCLA, who I liked to jump up, after Oregon fell to Arizona, was upset in the late game by Utah...

Guess who didn't lose, while playing Stanford and the #1 defense in the country...NOTRE DAME!
It was odd too...Of all the games I watched this week, these two teams were the only ones I saw play solid, consistent defense...Shit, they've both done that all year, so far...

I watched a lot of college football this week...And I heard a lot of talk, especially from ESPN and the SEC loyalists...(and remember ESPN owns the SEC Network)...They all think a 1 or 2 loss SEC team should get a playoff look over other 1 loss or even some undefeated teams...They still claim to be better, and have more talent...'The Mississippi schools won and are doing well because the SEC is so strong!'  Really!?!  But when PAC-12 teams beat each other up, they just suck, huh!?!  If you paid any attention to who Miss State recruits, you'd realize, it's the kids that Alabama, LSU, Auburn,  and Texas A&M, don't even look at...Dan Mullen recruits the 3 and 2 and 1 star kids, and develops the hell out of them...

Seriously, polls have now 1 loss Alabama ranked #7, ahead of multiple undefeated teams, and honestly some better 1 loss teams...I'll put my kids college tuition on 1 loss #17Kansas State over Alabama right now...

So since every week the hacks put out their top 4, or 6, or 8, I'm gonna give you my top 10....

1. Florida State....I hate Winston...Kid should be in jail, or just have the shit kicked out of him, but as a team, they've done what they have to...

2.Auburn...Don't like the SEC, but they are bad-ass...Big game this week against Miss State will hash some shit out...

3. Miss State....Been solid so far...Already took down LSU and A&M...Is Auburn next?

4. Notre Dame...Why? Fuck you, that's why! Seriously, you're never gonna see me put 3 SEC teams in the top 4...Besides, this stage of the season, most teams have played cupcakes, with one or two decent opponents...The Irish had tougher cupcakes then Ole Miss and Baylor...

5. Arizona...Hey, they beat the #2 team in the country straight up...That qualifies for a jump in my book...But it's the PAC-12...Some one will knock them off...This conference loves fucking it's top teams in the ass...

6. Baylor...Strong team people....They were in Oklahoma's shadow, but not anymore...If they make it undefeated until their last game against Kansas State, the Wildcats are gonna get some revenge...

7. Ole Miss...Done what they've had to...Can they keep it going? I don't think so...QB, Bo Wallace is gonna shit the bed at some point...

8. TCU...For now, undefeated gets you a look...But it won't last for the Horn Frogs...

 (just because I said that, don't bring up Georgia Tech...They're not getting a seat at my playoff table yet...

9. Michigan State...Had a late scare from Nebraska,  but they may help them as a team...Yeah, they have a loss...To Oregon, who they ran with most of the game...And while Oregon has a loss, they're still tough competition...No other big program was willing to open their season at the Ducks home field...

 I was gonna put a tie here at 10...Two teams that are impressive...Georgia,  and Kansas State...But then I broke it down...Georgia has been carried by RB Todd Gurley...Kansas State is a team...And pretty cock-strong...

10. Kansas State...Big-12, watch your backs!


All this College Football talk, and these Moscow Mules have me tired...Lets mix in something else...

If you see this sidewalk...Get a jackhammer...Shovels, whatever...Fuck this up...Damn sidewalk making the rest of look bad!

Thug Kitchen My Ass!

Yep, there's a cookbook, and blog out there called "Thug Kitchen." and these are just a couple examples from it...

I'm sorry, but these people are trying way to hard....But wait, news has broke, and people are getting very upset...These are the writers of "Thug Kitche!"

Holy shit!  They're WHITE! 

Ummm, yeah, that was kind of obvious...1. They think saying Fuck, shit, ass, bitch,  and goddamn somehow qualifies you as sounding "thug"....Clearly they are jumping on the "thug" meaning black bandwagon...I'm not sure when this happened, but it did...People say "thug" or "urban" because they are afraid to say black, or something worse...they think they can slip past any racial discussion by saying these words...2.  I've gone through a number of their shitty recipes, and the "thugs" I know make better shit...And how the fuck are you gonna go this route and not drop a bomb-ass fried chicken with watermelon salad recipe!  (Boom, that's how you slip in some sweet stereotypical, racist shit!)

These are two of the whitest people I've seen, and my wife and I are pretty fucking pasty! And it's clear how white they are by their recipes, and what they say, in hopes to be considered "thug"...Have either of these two done time...I'm not talking holding sell for public intoxication, or a DUI...I'm talking time...Possession with intent...Gun chargers...Assault...B&E...Because that would get people thinking "thug," not saying fuck a lot...I'm going out on a limb and saying NO!

I've worked with people who would be considered thugs...By society, and some by themselves...These two white dopes have no idea what a "thug" is, and I just resorting to a classic business strategy...Take something from the black community, or that sounds black, and make money off of it...Just ask Led Zeppelin...Jimmy Paige made his bones ripping off black blues musicians and not crediting them...Go look at how many Elvis hits were actually written by black men...Rap was getting big, Aerosmith got in bed with Run DMC, which brought the seemingly dead rock band back to life...It wasn't white kids in the suburbs that started sagging pants...They ripped that from what they were seeing on Yo! MTV Raps...

Now we have "Thug Kitchen" from two white people who probably never worked in a real kitchen, never personally knew a "thug," and would shit their pants if they did...

Fuck you Matt Holloway and Michelle Davis!  Fuck you in the ass with a big "thug" dick!
