Cam Newton the First COVID Cut

 

Today the New England Patriots cut their presumptive starting quarterback, Cam Newton. No matter how the Patriots try to spin it, or whatever short, monotone, annoyed response Bill Belichick gives the media, Newton was cut because he won't get the COVID Vaccine. 

The NFL made it clear that they are not dealing with COVID bullshit this year. They aren't rescheduling games and moving games around because of an outbreak on a team. If you get COVID because you're unvaccinated, they're holding you accountable. Your team will forfeit, not get paid and have to pay the game checks for the team you forfeited to. They have set up strict protocols and standards for the players who have stubbornly chosen to not get vaccinated...

And Newton broke protocols with the Patriots that cost the team having him present for meetings and practice for 5 days. If you know about Bill Belichick, you know he only cares about winning. Doing things his way and the team comes first. Newton's actions showed that the team doesn't come first to him. That he isn't all in with Bill and "The Patriot Way." 

Bill can't have that. He doesn't tolerate it. It's not a political issue with him. It's not about anti-vaccine or pro vaccine or anything to do with science. It's all about winning football games and getting back on top.

Newton isn't the only QB or high profile player to be opposed to getting the vaccine. There are plenty of those dolts. Problem for Cam is, that he was on a team that cares more about what's best for the team and winning, than they do about whatever the fuck nonsense he cares about.

If you think Newton's cut was about anything else than him not doing everything he could for the good of the team, which includes getting vaccinated, you're almost as big a dolt as him.

    

Monday Moaning

Well it's Monday again, and it's time for another dose of Moaning...First off, this week I'm not as grumpy as I was last week...Thanks to Notre Dame not shitting the bed Saturday! You can read about that HERE...

Then there was the Browns...Coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Bengals, and rolling into Indianapolis...Now the Browns won, but unlike many folks in Cleveland, I'm not getting my hopes up...I mean, other than two excellent defensive ends, the Colts defense isn't that great...And their offense is lost without Peyton Manning...So relax Clevelanders, the Brownies still lost to the Bengals...

And what happened to the Ravens...They took apart the Steelers last week, and then this week they got punked by the Titans...WTF!?!

Cam Newton threw for over 400 hundred yards again...But he was able to mix in 3 interceptions, to help the Panthers lose! (ouch B-Dub!)

Oh, and Tom Brady was out there again Sunday, just torching mother fuckers! (423 yards and 3 TD's)

But enough of that stuff...Let's get into this College Football shit that is going down...Awhile back, I predicted, along with others, that we would see 4 "Super Conferences" in college football...Well as the Big-12 seems to be losing members, now The Big-East is falling...Pitt and Syracuse are heading to the ACC, and rumor has it, UConn and Rutgers are next...It wouldn't be a surprise to see USF head that way as well...

Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas Tech...Look for all those kids to head to the PAC-12...I see Missouri, and Iowa State going to the Big-10, and then the Big-Ten will grab some Big East leftovers...The SEC already grabbed Texas A&M...They'll pick up some one else from the Big-12...

The big questions...Where do TCU and Boise State go...They're tired of being left out by the big guns...And, will 4 "Super Conference" telling the BCS to go to hell, and calling the shots in college football, finally force Notre Dame into a conference...Will the Irish even be invited?

If it all goes down, as I think it will...We may finally get the College Football playoff we've been dying for...And when it happens, how many will start bitching about the tradition of college football...What, the tradition of bitching every season about which team or teams got screwed...Don't worry, I'm sure there will be plenty to bitch about!

As for the happenings in my world...I spent Sunday morning at Chuck-Cheese with the kids, for one of their friends birthday...That, after watching our friends daughter over night Saturday...Some one is gonna get sick, I can feel it...

Here's my little girl, Saturday night around 12:30AM...Laughing and playing...She stayed up until almost 2:00AM...


Living the dream!

Sunday afternoon, I spent a few hours chopping a hedge that runs along our driveway...The city informed me it has to be no taller than 8 feet...So my 5'7" ass was on a shaky 6 foot ladder with electric hedge trimmers...One douche neighbor, who didn't offer to help, informed me that one of the things growing in this hedge, on my next door neighbors side, was poison oak...So if some one doesn't get sick, I'm waiting for some one to start itching...

Oh, and Mrs. Beeze starts her new job Monday...Going from one giant, evil bank, to another giant evil bank...But it's a really nice bump in pay...I'm one year closer to my goal of retiring by 40!

The Beeze's Hump Day Hits

Hey ladies, guess who's coming back to town...That's right, King Crybaby!




Yes, people it's not just the local media, it's all over the national media too...The great hype machine is working overtime...LeBron James is coming back to Cleveland ,and everyone expects the worst...Guess what, the fans worst isn't going to hurt LeBron...No matter how much the city of Cleveland embraced him, because he grew up 30 minutes away, and because he had so much talent...He never embraced the city...

Clevelanders got use to people like Bernie Kosar, who grew up in Youngstown...The city embraced him...It was close enough to call him one of us...And he returned the sentiment...But not everyone is Bernie Kosar, and I'm not talking about him being piss drunk most of the time! As a matter of fact, there are less and less athletes around who show that love back to a city...And I'm not just talking about during their playing days...Bernie is still around, and treats Clevelanders with nothing but respect, and gratitude...

So to any Cavaliers fans who may be going to the big game...Feel free to let LeBron know you think he's a douche, but don't get carried away...We're all still hearing about 10 cent beer night, and fuck, I wasn't even born yet!




In other sports news...Cam Newton, Auburn QB has been reinstated to play by the NCAA...Funny thing is, nobody knew he was suspended...Apparently on Monday, the NCAA found his father and some other shady bastard guilty of "wrong doings" so the University suspended Newton on Tuesday...The NCAA reinstated him today...Funny how they kept this off the radar...Any other NCAA investigation moves as slow as molasses in January...This shit doesn't smell right...

Would they have done this if he was playing on a 8-4 team? No! But since Auburn is undefeated, and heading into the big money making SEC Championship game Saturday, they want to make sure the money keeps flowing in...Who's going to watch South Carolina play Auburn, if the Tigers don't have their Heisman front runner, Quarterback? Not too many!

It's all about Money...Funny since the whole investigation was started because talk of Newton's father asking schools for money...And now after all this, if Newton does win the Heisman, I hope Reggie Bush shows up the next day and says, 'Give me back my trophy, you hypocritical cunts!'

What a bunch of horseshit!

Screw it...Onto the good stuff...Last week, Alana squeaked out another win, narrowly beating out Lucia...So this week, I'm doing a little tribute to Alana...She's getting hung up in the rafters...Next week, we'll be seeing 3 other ladies...But this week is just Alana Collins...enjoy!
