Zack Greinke Becomes a Free Agent
Right-handed pitcher, and 3-time ALL-Star, Zack Grienke (32) opted out of the last three years of his contract with the LA Dodgers, to become a free agent...By opting out, Grienke left $71 million of guaranteed money on the table...
This past season Greinke had a 19-3 record and a MLB best ERA of 1.66...He registered 200 strike outs in 222.2 innings...
Yes, Greinke is going to get some crazy offers...He's going to make a ton of money, on top of the tons he's already made...I'm just blown away seeing a guy walk away from another $71 million guaranteed...
As of now there are 151 MLB free agents...Can't wait to see the absurd amounts of money flying around...
