Time For Another Reality Check People

In Case you missed it, over in Africa, where genocide seems to be the national sport, and much of the world turns a blind eye to it, there are countless Somali children dying every day...Adults as well...Fleeing being raped and killed, they travel through a drought, starving, with no water, to refuge camps...If they get there, there is still little hope that they'll live...Why so little hope? Because what little aid is being sent to help them, has to somehow get past the same warlords that are trying to kill these people...14 aid workers have been murdered already...

Why am I bringing this up on a Saturday night? Because no one else is! Instead the lead story on every news outlet is that stupid, one hit wonder, junkie, skank, overrated, singer, Amy Winehouse...These dirty, smack-head, hatchet wound was found dead Saturday...And for some reason people are shocked...And the real news...The important news, is pushed to the side, so people can acted shocked that a junkie died...This gash was more famous for being fucked up, then she was for singing...

How fucked up are we?

The early morning news was covering what should have been covered...The bombing, and then later Massacre in Norway...My wife and I were following this closely...A good portion of her heritage is Norwegian...Should couldn't understand something like this happening there...And when the death toll jumped to 92 people we were horrified...85 of those were shot and killed at a teen camp on Utoya Island, 20 miles from the Oslo bombing...

It was the deadliest day in Norway since World War Two...


I watched this nut-job's YouTube Manifesto...And yes, he's proud of what he's done...I'm not linking it, or using his name...He'll get no PR here...

But wait, Amy Winehouse died...Put everyone on her death instead!

It's really sad what has become important news...It seems more like lazy news...

Then of course our elected officials here in the U.S. can't reach an agreement about raising the debt ceiling, and making progress in trimming down the deficit...From everything I have read, The President leaned more to the right, or at least the middle then he did to his own party...Even if he gives into what Republicans want, they jump up and down and scream no...One thing he wanted to do was involved not raising taxes but bringing in revenue by closing loopholes...Where have I heard that before? OH_YEAH!

The financial world is waiting for the U.S. to not fuck up economy, and these dolts are playing politics, and showing they don't give a shit about what the people want, and need...They're just playing their games and sticking it to us...

This too got little coverage, because Amy Winehouse died, and the world nearly stopped...

Many people would say God Help Us at this point...But I don't think he can.
