Last week I talked about the Summertime Blues...This week...I don't know...I really don't have much...By much, I mean I've got nothing when it comes to sports...Honestly, I just haven't paid attention...I've slacked at paying attention to blogs or sports sites, and most everything...

But then came Saturday night...The so-called news media has been firmly planted in the George Zimmerman trial, and have refused pay any attention to 99% of the news that is happening...Some of them have been banging the drum for Justice for  Trayvon Martin but have ignored the countless other crimes, shootings, and deaths...Like last weekend when there were 72 shootings in Chicago, with 16 deaths... Mostly black and young....Why don't they get the same coverage as Trayvon Martin...

So back to Saturday, when the verdict came down just after 10:00 PM, that George Zimmerman was found, not guilty...The Internet went crazy...Twitter went wild...more wild then when Sharknado aired....But people, we have to remember something here...We live in a country where everyone is "Innocent until proven Guilty"....Not the other way around...Would you want to live somewhere like that...I recall a place like that...It was Russia, under Stalin...You know the good ole days when he killed over 20 million of his own people...

The fact of the matter is, the state must prove the defendant is guilty...If you paid any attention to the trial, you know they didn't...Zimmerman never denied shooting Trayvon Martin...That was never in question...It was all about whether it was done in self-defense...And the state couldn't prove he was guilty of cold blooded murder....You may disagree...But that is our system...And we weren't able  to have the full knowledge that the jury did...6 women, found Zimmerman not guilty of murder...The system is the system, and it worked, for better or worse...

That should be it...Game over...But people went nuts on Twitter and facebook...Different groups want action taken against Zimmerman, damn what the justice system says...People want the Department of Justice and the President to step in and find a way to go after Zimmerman...Rallies are being planned...Then I saw Roddy White's tweet...

Hey Roddy, wishing the jurors to kill themselves makes you no better then Zimmerman...I'm getting sick of a lot of the dopes on twitter, but without a doubt, athletes have taken the lead in the assholes on twitter race.

 

People need pull back...Hey, if you disagree with what the jury says, that's fine...But fucking grow up about it...And no offense, but why the fuck aren't you crying about all the other dead kids? Kids are dying every day...Why aren't you screaming about justice for Elaina Steinfurth...She's 18 months old...She's been missing since June 2nd...After her mother's boyfriend threw her against the wall...And the piecse of shit mother did nothing to help her...Instead covered it up for him...Now Elaina is missing...Reports suggesting that she was tossed off a bridge into the Maumee...

 

Where's her fucking justice? 

 

But wait, she's white...And this fucking Zimmerman case spiralled into a near race war right from the rip...From day one the fact that a white-ish guy shot a black teenager has been shoved in our face...Would it have been shoved in our face if it was a black-ish guy that shot a white teenager...No...We wouldn't have had months and months of non-stop coverage of the story...That doesn't happen...That isn't sexy and that doesn't cause controversy...

 

And fuck the #HoodieUp shit....My white ass has been wearing hoodies for the last 37 years...My wife doesn't take her pasty white ass anywhere without a hoodie...Hoodies aren't symbol, they're something to keep you warm...Stop ruining my hoodies you mother fuckers!

 

When I woke up Sunday morning and saw comments on Twitter and facebook, I knew it was going to be a long day...Then I popped on the TV...The trial is over, and still, all Zimmerman, all the time...Well, I've had enough...So Avoided TV all day, and took Molls to Memphis Kiddie Park...

 

So what else have I been doing, besides my normal Dad/Coach duties, since I haven't been paying attention to sports and blogging? I've found myself digging into music...looking for good music...New, old, interesting, whatever...So, I'll start sharing something new with you each week, and yes, I'll get my head back in the sports blogging game as well....This week I'm sharing Gary Clark Jr.
He's an awesome guitar player, who at first look would just seem to be in the Psychedelic/blues area...But if you dig into his collection, he travels all over while being rooted in Blues...I'm picking this clip where he covers Hendrix and Albert Collins...And if you remember our old friend 3rdStone, you'll get why....

They say, "there ain't no cure for the Summertime Blues"....

I hope a few of my friends can get you past those blues, along with a little sports talk....

And why wouldn't people have the Summertime Blues? It's been raining almost every day here in the Cleve...I said I was going to be a Seahawks fan this coming season, and I guess they decided to deliver the fucking weather too...Little Beeze and I have had 1 game so far Our team has had 1 game and 7 rain outs....FUCK!  The kids are sick of practices, and the parents are sick of the Rec not having the fields ready to play during the brief window where it isn't raining...People were really pissed last Tuesday...It hadn't rained, and the sun was out, and people wanted a game...But the Rec couldn't get the field ready...I would like to shit on them, but it had just rained for 10 straight days, and their budget from the city is shit...But have no fear, the rain came back that night right around what was suppose to be our game time...

So my blog FRIDAY  was all about the Madness of the NHL's free agency, along with salary cap issues...But the topic that got the most attention there, and on HALS post was the Bruins moving Tyler Seguin....I think some Bruins fans are way to upset about the move...I think they got great value, and potential back...And really, all Seguin gave you was potential...Yeah, he was a #2 overall pick, but we tend to put a lot of expectations depending on where guys get drafted, and sometimes guys go too high...I'm not saying Seguin is a bust...he could be...He could be a super star...We have to wait...But he was a problem...Clearly the Bruins felt that way, and well, they were closer to the situation then us....

And as for Momma Seguin....Shut up...I hate it when parents come out against an organization because they moved your kid...Or said he's been partying too much...Or acting like  a douche...Kids been out of your house, since he was 16, doing 3 things...Playing hockey, drinking and chasing skirts...And there's nothing wrong with that!  The problem is he let that shit get flaunted around the Internet... HERE'S a taste Mom!

I'm not a fan of the fan voting for the "All-Star" game...But it is what it is...And every year MLB breaks out the online fan vote for the final roster spot for both the NL and AL...I have never participated in this...Until this weekend...When I saw Steve Delabar was one of the guys up for the AL spot...I've been rooting for this guy for a couple years now...His stories is one of the best in Baseball...If you have the time to kill, watch this....




-Everrett Golson was in his home town of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina this weekend, and he told reporters that he intends on returning to Notre Dame in the Spring, after being Suspended from the University for the Fall Semester...While this doesn't help this year, it makes recruiting a bit easier, assuming Golson gets his Academic situation in order...It also shows that maybe this incident has gotten through to him, and he'll be a better person for it...

-Urban Meyer has been catching a lot of heat lately...Many people want to hold the now Ohio State coach, who coached Aaron Hernandez when he was at Florida, partially responsible for Hernandez's off field problems...I heard one guy on the radio going off about it...Listen, I think Meyer is a shady piece of shit, but you can't blame him, not even partially for what Hernandez is accused of...Yeah, as more comes out, there have been warning signs since Hernandez was a teenager, that he could be headed down a bad path, and maybe one of his many coaches along the way could have gotten through to him....Maybe some tried...How the hell do we know? But they didn't do the deed...I'm not a guy who is all about defending Meyer or Ohio State, but if Hernandez did this, it's on him...He's a grown ass man, and if he wants to play thug, then he's gonna have to deal with the consequences...

If people want to go after Meyer, go after him for stuff he had control of...41 guys who played for Meyer between 2005 and 20010 were arrested while there, or afterwards, some both...16 alone in 2008...(including Cam Newton) ...The ones that didn't get arrested until they were gone, I'll give Meyer a pass...But the 31 who were arrested while there,  should have been handled, and if Meyer let shit slide, then go after him...If he cheated at Utah, go after him...If he cheated at Bowling Green, go after him...If he cheats at Ohio State go after him...But trying to put blame on him for the crimes Hernandez is accused of seems weak to me...I'm tired of people making excuses and passing blame when "celebrities" fuck up...

I'm dreading going back to work after 4 days off...I hope my ladies in Blue helped ease the Summertime Blues...

The Beeze's Friday Finger Pop (NHL Off Season Madness)

Well, it looks like a couple people are ready for some finger poppin' good times...Here we are, day after the 4th of July...Do you still have all your fingers? I hope every one had fun celebrating the 4th...That said, if your city/town is one of those shit-dick places that did fireworks on July 3rd, or 5th, fuck off...You celebrate on the 4th...Do the firewworks on the 4th...You see this more an more...Just like those asshole places that have their Halloween trick-or-treat on the Saturday before...Fuck you...You trick-or-treat on Halloween! 

You don't ever see anyone or anywhere celebrate New Years on December 29th or January 3rd...Why?  Because there is onlt one fucking New Years, just like there is one Halloween, and one 4th of July...Come on America, lets get our shit together...

Next up in the Finger Pop...NHL teams are all trying to find salary cap space, while holding onto key players, and landing quality and high profile free agents...There is a hot term now in the NHL...The "Compliance Buyout."  This lets teams string out a percentage of a players contract, when waiving him, and it not killing their cap number...

In Philadelphia the Flyers dropped big money, $28 million to buyout the contracts of Ilya Bryzgalov and Daniel Briere...Then what did they do...Get themsleves another big contract on the books, signing 33 year old Vincent Lecavalier to a 5 year, $22.5 million contract....I think 5 years for a 33 year old who has spent a lot of time injured the last couple years is dumb, but good for Vinny...He's going to be sitting pretty making his $4.5 million a year from Philly...But on top of that is his buyout from Tampa Bay, who wanted/needed to get him off the books...From the Lightning he'll get $2.3 million a year for the next 14 seasons...WOW!

And and Flyers fans don't get too excited...Your team still has some holes to fill...Which should be fun to see since Lecavalier's contract just took them $300,000 over the salary cap!

While that buy out mess, and signing made me laugh...And sick...My favorite so far, and I doubt it will be topped is the New York Islanders buying out Goalie Rick DiPietro...Seven years ago GM Garth Snow thought it would be a good idea to give this average goalie a 15 year, $67.5 million contract...Since then DiPietro has either sucked, been injured, or both...Well, the Islanders have decided to finally rid themselves of this douche...To do so, they used the Compliance Buyout...DiPietro will be given $1.5 million annually for the next 16 years....

Yeah, Lecavalier will be earning more, but at least he put together a really good career so far...DiPietro has just blown...And I love that Snow had to finally admit he made a huge mistake...If I was teh owner I'd make him hold a press conference stating that he is sorry, and that he is a fucking idiot....They have to pay a guy $1.5 million a year, for 16 years, to go the fuck away!

How I wouldn't love a job that I could suck at, and the boss just finally breaks down and says, 'You're fucking killing us...Here, I'll pay you $1.5 million a year for, lets say 16 years...All you have to do is go the fuck away!'  

Where the fuck do I sign!?!

Surprisingly, the New York Rangers didn't use the Compliance Buyout on Brad Richards, as many expected...GM Glen Sather says he expects Richards (33 yrs. old) to bounce back...So the Rangers will take the $9 million cap hit this season...Many Rangers fans, myself included, don't like this move, because it is giving the Rangers very little room to hold onto key players, and make any splash in free agency...

The Pittsburgh Pengins signed 26 year old defenseman Kris Letang to an eight year $58 million extension...It's not a horrible signing, but I'm just not a fan of going that long with anyone...But there is another reason this deal is risky...With this extension, the Penguins will have nearly half of their salary cap space locked up in 4 players...Letang, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and James Neal...Those 4 fuckers better stay healthy and produce or your team is gonna be in trouble...

Then comes the Boston Bruins who were talking to teams during the draft about moving 21 year old and former #2 overall pick, Tyler Seguin...Well, Thursday the Bruins sent Seguin, Rich Peverley, and minor-leaguer Ryan Button to Dallas for Loui Eriksson, Reilly Smith (22), 23 year old Matt Fraser, and Joe Morrow (20), the key piece Dallas got from Pittsburgh when they traded Brenden Morrow...Eriksson(27) gives the Bruins an elite left-handed winger who can play either side, and knows how to shoot...He's posted 70 points in each of the last 3 seasons...He has 3 years left on his $25.5 million, 6 year deal, which will be a smaller cap hit what Seguin would have been...The Bruins added a lot of youth and potential, and a proven player...

They also rid themselves of what they felt could be a major problem...According to "sources around the team," the Bruins had to have a sit down with Seguin during their playoff series with Toronto...They questioned his commitment to the team, and wanted him to start acting like a "Professional"...One report says Seguin showed up to the Air Canada Centre wearing the same close for 3 straight days...The 21 year old has earned quite the rep for partying since his 19 year old rookie season when he helped the Bruins win the Cup...and the rep isn't that good, based on this tweet from the Cask 'N Flagon...

"The Boston nightclub scene will be a better place without #tylerseguin demanding entry.#TradeSeguin"

The Bruins have another pressing issue to get to as well....

The contract extension people are waiting to see done in Boston, is goalie Tuuka Rask...The speculation is saying the 26 year old could be looking at a deal in the area of $56 million over 8 years...Smart moving taking that 1 year deal last season and proving yourself...Rask and the Bruins both gambled in those negotiations, and it looks like Rask won...

In case you missed it Saturday, there is one topic, and one topic only, above all other topics, that has to be discussed....Must read NOW ...

I told ya...Serious stuff people...Serious stuff going on in our country that has to be addressed!  Unlike what CNN is showing us...Yes, CNN has dug their heels all in with the George Zimmerman trial...Normal Friday night CNN programming got bumped so they could give another 3 more hours of talking about this trial...Hey, there is serious news happening daily in this country and in this world...And I'm not even talking about the asshole in Virginia anymore....(You better have clicked that link above!)  It's sad because not only are they constantly harping on this trial, that just started, but they are also giving off the vibe that they are trying to single handedly start a race war....

Race over and over again keeps coming up when this trial is talked about...And pretty much every time a black person is attacked or killed by some one who isn't black...Yet, when a black person attacks or kills a person who isn't black, race is not brought up...Why the double standard...What there aren't black people who are racist, who target white people or Asian people....Oh yes there are...The media is just afraid to talk about it...It happened at The Wisconsin State Fair a couple years ago, that a group of teenage blacks targeted and attacked whites...But the media danced around it...

Is it uncomfortable in here yet?  Sorry, but it needs to be said...The news media needs to report the news...The facts, as they really are, and not be afraid to tell the truth...But not every crime is racially motivated, and that shouldn't be the first thing we jump to when a crime happens...But dopes like CNN always seem to go there...I wrote THIS early last week...If you read it you can see I had a few problems with it, and racial tension popped up right or wrong...Do I think that animal did what he did because he was black and the woman was white...NO...he did it because he's a piece of shit...

So let me break down this whole Zimmerman case for ya, so you can avoid CNN for the next few months....Dude was following the Trayvon Martin, even though the police told him to pull back, they were on the way...But he wanted to be a hard ass....Martin realized was following him...Most likely, he said something...They exchanged words and then blows...Martin had him down and was beating his ass...Zimmerman was pissing himself, realizing he wasn't as hard as he thought, and that he had a gun, and shot Martin, thinking he was dead if he didn't...I don't know why it's so hard for people to figure out...

If I was in Martin's shoes, and noticed this douche following me, I may not have acting the same...When I was his age, I would have started to run, and ducked around a corner...If dude would have kept coming, then I probably would have jumped him...If I was Zimmerman, well you wouldn't see me doing what he did...I do my neighborhood watch from my front porch, and I don't have the time to waste, trolling around looking for the assholes...But If I found myself getting a beating, and I had a gun on me, yeah, I'd use it....Not everything is about race...Zimmerman may have said racist shit, doesn't mean he's looking to kill every black kid he sees...

Fuck!  Sorry if this all got heavy and uncomfortable...But the fucking news media makes me want to puke in the soup!

Okay...Sports...The NHL Draft was Sunday....Ummm, yeah, I don't really follow the prospects intensely, so I got nothing...Plus I didn't watch...I took the kids to see Monsters University...It was good...Kids like it...Had some good laughs for the parents...There were a couple good previews too that got big laughs from Mrs. Beeze...Yeah, some times it's like having 4 kids!

Back to the NHL...There were a bunch of trades on draft day...I'm really not willing to run them all down for ya...But Chicago, you just won the Stanley Cup, and your team just traded away a couple of guys who played a role in that...Many teams are trying to unload some contracts because of the salary cap for this coming year...And the Coyotes, who no one knows if they will be playing in Phoenix this coming year (I'm rooting for Seattle), and have no owner, some how signed goalie Mike Smith to a six year, $34 million deal...WTF!

The Boston Bruins look like they will be losing some familiar faces too...Nathan Horton will explore free-agency, and the team will let Andrew Ference walk...They have plenty of youth and depth on the blue line, so losing Ference won't hurt...GM Peter Chiarelli also admitted to losing to offers for Tyler Seguin....But after not moving the 21 year old winger, Chiarelli made it clear that Seguin needs to grow up, saying "He's got to commit his mind and focus on the one task at hand." Telling the Boston Globe, "He's got to become more of a professional."

Alright, kid...The boss just listened to offers, and then called you out...Better spend less time in the bars and all that Beantown snatch, and more time working on your game!

The Devils used the 208 pick on goalie, Anthony Brodeur...Yep, son of Martin Brodeur...But the kid won't see the NHL for awhile considering Dad is still there, and that the Devils just traded the #9 pick to Vancouver for 27 year old goalie Cory Schnieder...Schneider has been talked about in many trade rumors over the last couple years...Honestly, I think Vancouver always wanted to keep him and trade overrated, and overpaid Roberto Luongo, but no one wants that contract and that guy!

Okay...That's enough...If you really care about all the hockey moves, you already know where to go...Last week, all my games got washed out, and I'm expecting the same this week, as the forecast is calling for more fucking rain...So far we've had one game and  a bunch of rain outs...Thursday we should have played but the rec was too lazy to fix up the fields...The team we were suppose to play and us got together for a scrimmage...So at least all the kids got some work in...Been frustrating so far....Mother Nature needs to stop being such a twat and show youth baseball some love!

In closing...Wrapping this all up...Save the Blow Job! (and anal) ...Fuck CNN...Not every crime is racially motivated...And we should be able to discuss shit without everyone being afraid race...The NHL Salary cap has teams scrambling to make cap room...And Mother Nature needs to stop fucking with baseball season!

Last week, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, who is running for Governor filed an appeal asking the Supreme Court to "revive the state's law, banning oral and anal sex." The law was ruled unconstitutional earlier this year...

What the fuck is wrong with this guy!  Way to lose every fucking male voter in your state asshole!  Seriously, what guy doesn't like knob slobbed...Blow-Jobs are like pizza...Even a bad one isn't that bad...You still take it...And against anal too...Listen, some people are into it...(pun intended)...Some aren't...Let people make their own poor decisions....If she's willing to let you pop it in there, are you really saying no?  Is this guy gonna try to stop people from finger blasting each other next?  Sometimes you need a finger or two swirled around there...(You pick the hole)

Nothing about this guy makes sense...You can't even call him out for being a closet case, weenie puffer...If that was the case he would have been doing fucking cartwheels earlier this year, just grabbing cocks and sticking them all up in himself...

I Agree, This Should Go Viral

You're about to get full disclosure here....

I saw this on Facebook, with people trying to push it to go viral...The biggest reason people want it to go viral, is so this animal gets caught...I want that too....I hope he is caught and killed...But I want it to go viral so people can see just how fucked up our society is...

The attack was caught on a "Nanny Cam" which already says, shit we have a problem if we really don't trust the people who watch our kids...Hey, I understand...I have kids and I don't trust anyone...Why should I when I see shit like this happen regularly...This monster kicks his way in to rob this house, and beats the hell out of this woman right in front of her 3 year old...She didn't even fight back...He had no need to beat her like this other then to scare her and her children...and to flex his nuts, and make himself feel tough...He was being nothing more than a thug...Beating on a woman because he could...

This also has me asking questions about us, and myself....Honest to God, the first thought I had when I saw this was, 'That fucking nigger!'  I really try not be a racist person...And I wasn't thinking it because he was black...I felt it because of what he was doing...Believe me or not, but I have called a woman beating white guy a nigger before...Does that make using the word right or wrong...I don't fucking know...I've never been one to say any word is off limits...Should I feel bad for having that thought?   I did for a moment...But it is supposedly such an awful word, and he is clearly such an awful person, shouldn't they be a perfect match?    Yes, that word has a serious meaning to many black people....Yet there are many black people who throw it around constantly, like it means nothing....

And sorry, I don't care what you say, there is no difference between nigger and nigga...That's just lazy grammar...

My immediate feeling was this guy should die...Is that wrong? Is it wrong that I still feel he should die?  What good does he offer the world? Should we just start erasing the mistakes within our society? But then who decides who is a mistake...Or what awful acts qualify you to be a mistake? Maybe we'll just have to go case by case...Should I be judge, jury and executioner?  Probably not!  

 The longer I live and the more bullshit I see, the less I believe in second chances when it comes to criminals...

If that was my wife being beaten in front of my kids like that....Well, first, my kids probably would have taken some shots too, because they would have come charging to their mother's aid...They all have a bit of defender in them...But if that's my family, I'm bypassing the law...I'm hunting this piece of shit down like the animal he is, and I'm killing  him....That's not me being 'Johnny Tough Talk', that's just the way it is...I couldn't hold that anger down...I couldn't see that and not need to get revenge...

Does that make me a bad person?  Would that qualify me as a mistake?  I'm not sure what's going on with me...In the past I would see this, and just be angry, and say 'fucking kill this piece of shit!' and I be done with it...But I am finding myself wondering are those feelings wrong...Does wanting this animal dead make me just as bad of a person?

What's cookin'?

Fucking nothing, here!  I ordered Chinese food tonight....But seriously, I sat down to write, and I'm totally blank...I've got some music playing, and I just want to lay down and zone out into the tunes...I've looked at this page on and off for 20 minutes and I just want to punch the screen...I had a couple things bouncing around in my head somewhere...But shit, it seems like my brain just took a break...

Ummm....There's Hockey...Chicago went up 3 games to 2 Saturday night...Bruins Center, Patrice Bergeron was injured and missed the second half of the game, and was taken to the hospital during the 3rd period...He is listed as day-to-day, but the injury was not disclosed...One early, report said it could be a spleen injury, but there has been no one backing that up...If Bergeron can't go, that's bad news for the Bruins...He's one of the best faceoff men in the league, and a top two-way player, who has been the huge in the clutch for the Bruins...

Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews also sat for the second half of the game...He remained on the bench, but never stepped on the ice again...The Bruins have made a point to pound Toews, and the hits may be taking their toll, after Johnny Boychuck's big hit Saturday night...Chicago is optimistic Toews will be able to go in game six...

-The Toronto Maple Leafs search for a number one goalie may finally be over after looking for what seems like, forever....The Leafs traded young forward Matt Frattin, and goalie Ben Scrivens to the LA Kings for highly tauted goalie Jonathan Bernier...Bernier came in with plenty of hype, but has been stuck being a prospect/backup behind Jonathan Quick...

-How about Tennis...Okay, not so much Tennis, but a Tennis player being a dumb twat...This past week it was reported that Seren Williams shared her thoughts on a 16 year old Steubenville girl who was raped by a group of football players...Why this came up in a Rolling Stone interview, I don't know, but his what is getting her some shit....

"Do you think it was fair, what they got? They did something stupid, but I don't know," she told the magazine. "I'm not blaming the girl, but if you're a 16-year-old and you're drunk like that, your parents should teach you—don't take drinks from other people."

"She's 16, why was she that drunk where she doesn't remember? It could have been much worse. She's lucky. Obviously I don't know, maybe she wasn't a virgin, but she shouldn't have put herself in that position, unless they slipped her something, then that's different."

Well Serena, not everyone had a dad that drilled Tennis into them 24/7 to get them out the hood...By the way, how's that Crip Dance you and your sister like to do when winning gold medals? The "She's lucky" line says a lot to me, tied into the earlier line of "They did something stupid."  You fucking gash, they got her drunk, possibly drugged, took turns raping her, and filmed it, while other dolts filmed themselves bragging about it, and put it out on the Internet....How the fuck is she lucky?  Because they didn't murder her afterwards?  Would that have been just "Stupid" too?

It was good...I liked it for the most part...I don't need to hold onto the Christopher Reeve and Marlon Brando shit...I wasn't upset, but plenty of people are/will be...It did hate something that is a trend with all the "Super Hero" movies that have come out in the last decade...None of these fuckers can or want to keep their identity secret...Fucking annoying!

Anyways, It was good, but traditionalists will have issues...IT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT!

The Beeze's Friday Finger Pop

Welcome to another installment of the Friday Finger Pop, where not just two fingers, but two finger popable asses are always better than one!

The first bit of news today, The New York Rangers have signed former Vancouver Canucks coach, Alain Vigneault to be their next head coach...I'm not sure how I feel about this...He's not a bad coach, but I really disliked his teams in Vancouver...They really annoyed me...But he's got to do better having Lundqvist as his goalie, instead of the dead weight Roberto Luongo that kept holding the Canucks back!

Then I saw Mark Messier, Special Assistant to GM Glen Sather was very he, and his no coaching experience, didn't get the job...He has said he's not sure of his future now with the Rangers...Wow, always known as a tough guy in his playing days, and now he's gonna get a sad and hurt, because he didn't get a job that he wasn't qualified for...You know what Mess, go do what all the other coaches did....Earn your fucking stripes!  Being a great player doesn't make you a great...That's a whole new thing you need to learn...

Next up...Thursday night I was at my daughter's softball game...She's on a 12 and under team, in a league for beginning players...Their first couple years in, learning the game...Well, her team lost this game before they even stepped on the field...They saw the other teams pitcher warming up, and they were done for...This girl was throwing it 50 mph...The team was bigger, and you could see they had plenty of experience...Then the game started...when they made an out, the whole team did a little cheer, that ended with them slapping their feet...I was totally annoyed...I don't know if this is part of softball, but it came across as taunting....They did it on outs...They had one for if one of them walked...Got an RBI...everything...It was really cunty...And I wasn't the only adult who felt this way...

But then we saw how their parents behaved, and reacted...Oh, I see...They're shitty little cunts, because their parents and coaches are assholes...Oh, and then from a bit of parental investigating, these little twats, were 13, 14, year olds...Taunting and getting joy out of lying about what they were, and beating up on a league of 10, 11, and 12 year old beginners...Out teams coach intends to get them booted by the end of the weekend, and has already asked for birth certificates for every girl on that team...The parents of these kids, on this team need to be beaten...And the coaches should be hung....Too harsh?  Too bad!

Then there  was the ump....What a douche...His strike zone was from the top of the head to the ankles...My daughter, got hit by a pitch, walked and struck out...Her strike out...two of the pitches, the catcher caught on a hop off the plate...How the fuck is that a strike ass-cunt?!?

I hate getting like this over youth sports, but when there are adults that are willing to be such shitheads, it has to be called out...If I didn't Molly, and Little Beeze there with me, I would have had a lot of shit to say, to a lot of people... DOUCHEBAGS!

Moving on to the "News" media, and the idiot talking heads involved in it...I've never liked Russell Brand...But then this week he was on MSNBC's Morning Joe...Right away he made co-host, Mika Brzezinski uncomfortable...She has always been the show's bitch, but around Brand she flustered...He called them out for sucking at their jobs...He called them out for being rude...And he took over the show, and made them look like fools, and how easy their silly job is...He closed by calling Brzezinski "Shaft Grasper" as she couldn't stop grasping a bottle on the desk...Check out the video...




Seriously, never liked the guy...But that was great!

-The Miami Heat won the NBA Championship...Don't worry, Cleveland is still standing...Yes, many people here still hate LeBron James, but whatever...It's the NBA...This is Cleveland in June...The Indians are playing well, and most of sports talk is yapping about how bad the Browns will be, and if the new owner is going to end up in jail!

 Basketball sucks ass!  Watch the rest of the Chicago and Boston  Stanley Cup Final...Series is tied at 2 and these two teams are putting on a hell of a series...They love playing OT games!

My Favorite Kid

This will not be the normal Monday post....The Moaning is taking a week off...Father's Day weekend has come and gone...It was  busy week/weekend for me, and I barely saw any sports...Topped off, by having to work Father's Day...The restaurant business rests for few things...

This post is something I planned on doing on Molly's birthday...But that was the day of the Sandy Hook shootings...Writing about anything didn't feel right...I just wanted to be with my kids....I have taken some heat from friends, because of how I feature Molls in blogs, and photos in Instagram/Facebook...(One album actually says "totally My Favorite Kid")  I love all three of my kids dearly, and saying one is your favorite over the others is a "No No" in the parenting world...But there's a story to it all...

I have always talked about Little Beeze, not using his name...And my oldest daughter gets little coverage...But my real name is out there now with Twitter/Facebook/Blogspot...It's Tim...I hide my oldest daughter because of the creeps out there, and feel I will have to do the same with Molls soon...Her name is Emma....The boy is Tomas...No silent H's in this house...I hate silent letters! The news of Molly broke in a blog early after I found out she was on the way...I needed to get it off my chest...It was a bit of surprise...We even took name suggestions, even though Molly was the front runner right out of the gate...So, why has she been dubbed the favorite?

When my wife woke me up after a night of heavy drinking with old friends, who I told we were not having anymore kids, by saying "When was my last period?" I became instantly sober...We took a test, and Boom! We had gotten rid of almost everything in the way of baby stuff...I really wasn't happy about the news...Really unhappy...

Just a year or so earlier I was pushing my wife to have another kid...She was done...No way...Tomas had broken her...His terrible two's went on for two years and she was done...And the first year of his life the only way he would sleep was with me holding him as I sat on the couch...He had medical issues with his digestive system where laying down, he was in misery, and discomfort...And the special formula almost bankrupted us...So That's how I slept for over a year...very little sleep and a stiff neck all the time...All that made him attached, where when he was finally in a bed, I had to lay with him until he fell asleep...That lasted for a awhile...So a year or so before I was pushing for another kid, she kept bringing it up, and at that point I was saying no way...

So we had finally agreed to it...No more kids...2 was fine...Then the news broke...At first my wife wasn't happy either...But right away, she was saying how she always told me we were suppose to have three...She just always felt that...She got positive right away...The alternative was out for her...No way she could ever go the abortion route...And while I lean pro-choice, I couldn't do it or ask her to do it...So she powered...I stayed unhappy for awhile...When we found out it was a girl, I had the name talk to get me upbeat a bit...Further along I put on my positive face for my wife and kids, holding down the worry that always comes with childbirth...As the day approached I kept thinking of the mistakes I made the first two times around, and how I'll breeze through on this one...

Then she decided to come...We headed to the hospital early in the morning...But then she decided to take her time...12 hours later she finally showed up...She was perfect and amazing...She laid on  my wife's chest and held her finger immediately...She had a tough grip right away...They say babies can't smile right away, but they're wrong...She did...Right then, I fell in love...I hated myself for being mad the last 9 months...I was being selfish...I was being an asshole...And I knew that night, because of Molly, that my reason for being here, was to be a father...The best thing I will ever do in my life, will be a dad....And that night my wife rested, while my Molls slept on my chest....

I have special connection to each of my kids...They are all special, and unique in their own ways, with their own talents, and I love them all so much...But Molls and I have a special bond...It's because of her, that I feel like I've become a better father to Emma and Tomas...She opened my eyes to who I am...

I'm their Dad....

Canada Takes Hockey Seriously....

That includes Ball Hockey...

Canada and the Czech Republic were squaring off in the World Ball Hockey Championship, and then this shit happened....




It's bad enough when you play Beer League or Late Night Hockey, and come across Johnny Hard-Ass...But I guess they have that guy in Ball Hockey too...Ball Hockey, for Canadians that can't skate...I didn't know they made those...

Dude just snapped and kept firing punches...And wow, did the Czech team ever live up to the hype about Euros being pussies...The only guy on the team that showed any guts was the goalie...And all he did was jump on his teammate who was getting pounded...He must have figured, 'I can't take this psycho Canadian, but I have more pads...Maybe he'll punch himself out on me.'

Doesn't look like that plan worked out to well for him...And the ref got fucked up too...He's laying there grabbing his knee, that got rolled up on...One report I saw said his MCL got shredded...A ref in Ball Hockey got his MCL wasted trying to break up a fight...Now I've seen all...

I always knew Hockey was a serious thing with our Neighbors to the North, but damn...Dude must have some issues about not getting any pub for his Ball Hockey career...I don't know 24, try to learn how to skate, and then play like a bad-ass...Maybe then the Hockey News will do a cover story on you and all your douche-baggery!

Monday Moaning

WHY? WHY!?! WHY is she never on my flight!?!

Okay, to be honest, it's not like I really travel much...To let you people behind the mask a bit, I haven't been on a plane since I was 20 years old, and then I was in an alcohol induced coma...Both ways....Shit, I don't remember much of the trip because of all the drinking I did...And if you were to get me on a plane now, you'd either need lots of alcohol, or her!

So, I'm not gonna lie to ya, I don't have much sports to give ya...The week was crazy with running practices for Little Beeze's baseball team, and on the opposite days, my oldest daughter had softball games...Not easy to watch, and give her pointers, with 2 year old Molly wanting to go back to the playground...All week was a constant rush...

Wednesday was the kids last day of school for the year...The boy who was about a half a year behind his class when starting school this year, caught up, and exceeded the goals set for him by his teacher...Wednesday he received the President's Achievement Award...He did awesome! We're very proud...Our oldest slowly declined in her school work, getting more of a social life, and being a bit boy crazy...She did well, but she can do better...We're proud of her, but she got a talk about needing to do better...Now paying for Catholic School, I have become my Father...I always said I wouldn't get upset about my kids grades, or a bad progress report, the way my parents did...Now I do, and I understand why...I wasn't as harsh about it, but I made my point clear...

She did get a Music Award, Band Award, Accelerated Reader Award, Citizenship Award, and Day Dreamer Award...Still not sure how good that one is? The boy also got a Top Mass Participant Award, Good Friend Award, and Clean Desk Award, which got him in trouble since his room and little man cave are a fucking mess!

They had a good year, and they already have assignments that they have to have done for the first day next year...

Friday, the wife went out with a couple friends after work...Not bad, except besides staying home with my kids, her one friend dropped her 4 and 1 year olds off here...The kids are great with the 4 year old, which is good, because she tried testing me a couple times, and didn't like me saying no...So she went off with them in the playroom...The little guy hung with me and Molls...Which got interesting as she got a bit territorial...

The gals came back, had another glass of wine, or two and bs'ed...Which just made things crazier, because all the kids wanted to be around them, make noise, and spill shit...And I just wanted to watch the Bruins beat the Penguins....Which they did, and they'll be facing Chicago in the Stanley Cup Finals...I'll take the Bruins in 6...The Blackhawks are really good, but the Bruins have been playing flawless hockey, especially their goalie Tuuka Rask...They just look too strong right now...

Finally, people left, kids got to sleep, and a boozy Mrs. Beeze was feeling frisky...Ahhhh, it was all worth it!

Saturday morning Little Beeze and I went to the field for a two hour practice with our team...It stretched into almost 3 hours as I worked a little more with kids on their hitting, so they all wanted a turn...Then we had to clean up, and rush to a birthday party foe one of his classmates...We got home, and I just wanted to sleep...I took a nap for an hour, until Molly woke me up...We played a bit, then I started dinner...Totally forgetting the Belmont Stakes was about to take off...My oldest daughter reminded me...We rushed to the TV just in time to see the start...We did bet on this one, but I would have put my money on Revolutionary...I would have lost, as he came in 5th...It was 15-1 Palace Malice who won...Preakness winner, Oxbow finished second, and Derby winner, Orb came from the back of the pack to finish third...

Sunday was all about the kids...My wife took our oldest to see Raiders of the Lost Ark on the big screen...There is a local theater doing big time 80's movies every weekend, and that was one of the wife's favorites...I took Molls, and the boy to one of our favorite parks...They had a blast, as usual...

She also loves digging in the sand, that was a little damp...

Later on at home she found an ant hill in a crack in the sidewalk...Her brother dumped water on them, wanting to prevent them from getting in our house...After he went inside, she kept taking little cups of sand from her sand table, and was "Feeding them"...Here she is running back from "feeding them"...

And running....I need to find a way to bottle up that energy and store it...For myself, so I can keep up with these kids...This week will be crazy again...Both kids have 2 games and one practice...My oldest is also at Honor Band for a few hours Monday through Saturday mornings, with a concert Saturday night...The wife and I are going to see Bill Burr Friday night...And I'll be working Sunday, besides my Mon-Fri...So if anyone wants to cover for me next Monday, just let me know, I may be feeling lazy...

I know this is light on sports, but I'm kind of, totally wrapped up in my kids...Here's a couple quick local stories...Indians closer, Chris Perez and his wife got busted for having weed mailed to their home, in their dogs name...Are you surprised...I'm not...The guy looks like he'd be up for a party...And his now deleted Twitter account showed he was often a dope! You are what you smoke?

Browns WR, Josh Gordon got suspended for breaking the NFL drug policy...It should be interesting to see how this plays out, since Gordon is saying he failed the test because of a Codeine cough syrup he was prescribed when he had Strep...If his story is true, the NFL is going way too far...If his story is bullshit, I won't be surprised...Honestly, pro athletes being dopes, never surprises me anymore...

Monday Moaning

 

Ain't that the truth!  Might be what the Chicago Blackhawks are saying to the LA Kings...The 'Hawks have taken a 2-0 lead on the Kings and will now head to LA to play games 3 and 4...Chicago's speed and skill has shown some weaknesses in the Kings game...And Goalie Johnathan Quick who has been so impressive through the playoffs, suddenly looks very human...I expect the Kings to take one game at home, but the way this series looks, I think it may be over in 5...That would be good for me since months ago I was saying Chicago would be in the Finals...

In the East, Boston went up 1-0 after shutting out the Penguins...Pittsburgh seem unsure of their goalies, and they got out of their own game, and tried to get physical with the Bruins...That's not a battle they're going to win...

And of course, where there is Penguins forward Matt Cooke, there is contraversy...Cooke who was a decent, player with some skill, at some point decided to be a shithead and make his career all about trying to injure people...Cooke started with knee shots...Then moved up to head shots...So when he called for this penalty Saturday, no one should have been surprised...




Yet, Penguins fans were unhappy...Odd...Later, the Bruins Brad Marchand made a similar hit on James Neal, and Boston fan didn't seem to get up in arms about the call...But it was the reaction from a Pittsburgh fan...A Pittsburgh citizen, that really caught people's attention on the internet...Meet Jordan Kuruc...

I have said some awful shit to people online...Hell, I've said awful shit to their face...But this douchebag didn't seem to get why people were so mad about this tweet...And then when he apologized, and deleted it, he expressed the reason he felt bad was because "a kid died" in the bombing...This douche just couldn't get why people turned and attacked him on Twitter...Then, come Sunday he began to enjoy the role...Saying how he "Always wanted to be a heel in the WWE."

Jordan Kuruc felt bad that "a kid died" in the Boston bombing...Imagine this Jordan...You're a little girl...Ha! he does look like a bitch...Anyways...You're there, the bomb goes off...Your brother dies...Your mother suffers severe head trauma...Oh, and you lose your leg...Just imagine that...That's just one little girl's story...Now can you get why people are pissed...You got your 15 minutes for being a total fucking asshole...

I'm a dickhead, and I wouldn't have said that about a hockey game...Especially defending a piece of shit like Cooke...I want to wish pain and suffering on Kuruc....You know, like some awful shit...Like him and everyone he loves, get AIDS....But screw it...I'll rise above...You're fucking asshole, and everyone knows it....Oh, and thanks for giving me another reason to hate you're asshole city!

In other Hockey news, The New York Rangers fired their coach, John Tortorella...His abrasive style wasn't going to last much longer, even if the Rangers did beat the Bruins...Torts had his guys, and they bought  into his system, and style he wanted them to play...Those that didn't, were bounced...Yet, he still found ways to shit all over the guys he had...The only people that got more shit were the media...So, this is why you hear no one arguing against his firing...He's a good coach...But shitting all over grown men is going to get old quick...I'm surprised it took as long as did before the players had enough...

But I have another question...Why is GM, Glen Sather not on  the hot-seat...He's been with the Rangers for 13 years...He's had 6 coaches...The best the team has done is getting to one conference final...Now there is talk that he is looking at two of his old boys to be the next coach...Wayne Gretzky, who's first stint as a head coach wasn't a very good one...And Mark Messier...Messier's only coaching experience is coaching his son's pee-wee team...Yes, the fans would love it...Sure, some players might get a thrill out of it...But I don't think it's a good move...This team needs a proven coach...Not a couple of old super stars who are missing the spotlight...

-As for my weekend...It was pretty uneventful...Friday I was suppose to meet some old friends out for drinks...Sadly, I fell asleep with Molls while I was trying to get her down...

Saturday we had a baseball practice...The team is coming along well...Then we relaxed at home...Pizza, hockey, and a jam session...
