So the NFL had their "Pro-Bowl" and the NHL had their "All-Star" game this weekend...Love hockey and football but "All-Star" games are crap...The NHL skills competition can be fun to watch, but I'm losing interest in that these days too...Now they do a shoot-out thing, trying to be like the NBA's dunk contest...Guys hot-dogging and using props...Everyone was swinging on Patrick Kane's nuts, but his moves weren't the best...And I had more fun watching the goalies try to fuck with the shooters...Nobody is giving Carey Price any love...He turned his back to the shooter and watched his reflection in the glass, and he made the save!

Prince Fielder signing in the D was cover plenty already by everyone and their brother, and I could give a damn about Basketball...So what to talk about in Sports? Well, in a shocking update, I will defend a sports writer from The Cleveland Plain Dealer...The PD as we call it, is a piece of shit! Just a horrible paper...And now former Browns beat reporter Tony Grossi was not a favorite of mine...But I'm sticking up for Tony Grossi today...WHY? because his own shitty bosses, at his shitty paper didn't!

Last week Grossi who has worked the Browns beat for 18 years, tweeted that Browns owner, Randy Lerner is "a pathetic figure, the most irrelevant billionaire in the world."

Now, I don't disagree with him at all on that! But Grossi quickly deleted the tweet when he realized what happened, saying it was suppose to be a text messaged "smart-(aleck) remark to a colleague." He also apologized to Lerner and the Browns...

But the damage was done as many followers re-tweeted it...Why wouldn't they? Finally, a reporter covering the team, said what we had all been thinking for quite some time! Fans are always talking about how Lerner is never at games...Always watching his Soccer team in England, or in New York with all his big bank buddies, plotting how to rape the middle-class more...Grossi was right on, and Browns fans were happy some one cut loose...Sadly, Grossi back-pedaled...Most likely fearing for his job...Right again, because instead of having his back in any way, shape, or form, the yanked Grossi off the beat...

And no matter what they try to say, I'm sure Lerner and the Browns organization made it clear, that they didn't want to see him again...Since Lerner took over after is father's death the franchise has come across as thin-skinned...It's skin got even thinner when the walrus, Fatty Holmgren came on board...Snapping at the media for questioning him, and the direction of the team...Snapping at the media because they wanted questions answered...Saying, "You're with us, or your not, and remember that when you come looking for playoff tickets." Try winning 6 games first, you fat fuck!

Listen up Fatty and Lerner...Here's the only trophy you two fuck-stains will be seeing...

And before people get on Grossi and his Twitter slip-up, just as they do whenever some dope gets in trouble because of a tweet...I personally know a Plain Dealer Sports Writer...Known him for years thanks to my dad...I have sat next to his drunk ass in a fine Cleveland watering hole, as he hit on my wife, and she laughed at him...Three minutes later, he was sleeping on the bar...None of these PD hacks want to be on Twitter...They were forced get Twitter accounts...There is a reason my dad isn't on Twitter...Guys that age don't need or want to fuck with new technology...They don't want to be on the grid anymore then they already are...They don't have the same Look at me mentality as Ashton Kutcher and I do!

So the PD made Grossi get on Twitter, but when he makes a mistake, they don't have his back...What twats...If they had any balls, class, and credibility, they would have said, 'Our guy made a mistake, and apologized, it's over and done with. If you don't like it, too bad.' But we know that won't happen...So Tony Grossi, I don't know where they are going to stick you, other then in the ass...So I suggest start writing a column, so you can get away with blasting dopes like Lerner...And put Twitter to good use...Shred all those pricks that didn't back you up...Burn that shitty bridge to the ground!

-Lat week I blasted TIM_THOMAS...Plenty of people disagree with me, but fuck it, I stand by what I write...Taking a political stand, and saying it has nothing to do with politics sounds retarded...Then after calling attention to yourself and your stand, and refusing to talk about it continues to make you look retarded...Let alone, I thought how you originally made your statement made you sound like a dolt!

I'm Not Sure I Like Tim Thomas Anymore

The Boston Bruins went to the White House to meet the President, as all Championship teams do...But Tim Thomas decided to decline the invite saying...

“I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People. This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers [ sic ] vision for the Federal government. Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL.”

Umm, maybe Tim Thomas needs to go back to the University of Vermont and take a History class...People love to use The Constitution and The Founding Fathers as their reason for their beliefs...Let's take a look back at those Founding Fathers and their out-dated Constitution...They were all, un-elected, land owning, (raped the Native Americans of their land...Happy Thanksgiving! ) slave owning, white guys, who didn't allow women to vote...Didn't allow Indians to vote...Didn't allow Blacks to vote...Their Constitution considered Blacks to be three-fifths of a man...So right out of the gate Tim Thomas, using the Founding Fathers line makes you look like a dolt!

And the Founding Fathers' original vision, I would venture to say didn't include, roads, bridges, and railroads all over the entire country, going over, around, and through mountains...Crossing major bodies of water, and rivers...Or keeping up with the ever growing population, and their waste...And educating that population as well...

But I shouldn't be surprised...Often when people come into money, they become more anti-government, and anti-taxes...As Thomas has not been making his millions for very long...Hell, I'm broke, and I'm not a fan of the government, or taxes, but I understand they have a role, and that taxes are needed to take care of things...Thomas seems like one of those dopes that said, "Keep your damn hands off my medicare!" Never mind that medicare is funded by our taxes !

How about this then...Take your own trash to the dump...Plow your streets yourself...Repave those roads and fix those bridges yourself...Teach your own kids how to read and write and count...Just start with that, Mr. INDIVIDUAL, and tell me if you don't want government around...

Yes, Tim Thomas has every right not to attend...He said this was not about politics as he made it about politics...But the classy thing would have been showing a bit of respect for the Office of the President...No matter who is in there, that's the classy thing to do...

So, Friday night I wrote about being in a SLUMP...Well thankfully this weekend brought plenty to write about...Starting with the Patriots moving onto the "Super Bowl" after beating the Baltimore Ravens 23-20...It was a pretty good game, but it was clear that Tom Brady didn't look right/comfortable all day...And as for Joe Flacco, he didn't look awful, and I'd like to see him tell Ed Reed to shut the fuck up, and don't bite on the play-action...If Ed Reed watched some tape, he'd see that Flacco's shitty receivers hardly ever get separation from the coverage...I'm so happy the Ravens lost!

They had their chances...But the Patriots defense, which has had people shit on them all year, knuckled up at times...And then with 15 seconds left, the Ravens trot out their kicker Billy Cundiff to tie it up...Poor bastard went all Scott Norwood! And after the game, he gave Patriots fan a high-five!

Then there was the 49ers and Giants...Two teams playing really good defense...Two offenses who grind it out...These two teams went at it back and forth and punch for punch...So much so, they had to take it to overtime...And as the Patriots can thank Billy Cundiff, the Giants can thank San Fran return man Kyle Williams, who was a fumble machine, setting up the Giants game winning field goal...

Now we have two weeks of over-hyping the "Super Bowl"...And my wife, born in Boston, will actually be watching the game.......For the commercials!

-The other BIG story in the sports world...Joe Paterno died early Sunday morning...When I saw that he was near death Saturday night, I won't lie...I had spent the entire day in bed sleeping, or on the crapper with the green apple splatters...The Flu had struck me at 2:00AM and was kicking my ass...But the news of Paterno's failing health brought a smile to my face...The only thing that would have been better is if they would have found him dead, with Jerry Sandusky's cock in his mouth, and a shotgun in Sandusky's mouth...Yeah, let that visual soak in for a minute....Fucking scumbags!

Of course Twitter was buzzing when the word came down that Paterno died...And Opie from the O&A Show never fails to smack people in the face with a solid dose of honesty, tweeting this...

"What an insult! Penn State having a MOMENT OF SILENCE for Joe Paterno. That's what got him in trouble in the first place!"

After taking some shit from some dolts, he came back with this...

"So strange how many people are sticking up for Joe Paterno seeing how Joe didn't stick up for innocent children. #GetHelp"

After more bullshit from dolts he said this...

"Maybe the haters are right saying it's too soon for Joe Paterno jokes. I guess I'll be like Joe Pa and wait 10 years. #ZingZangZoom"

I'm all in with Opie...These people trying to blow off the evil shit that went on at Penn State, while Paterno was suppose to be the all knowing, all powerful, perfect example of class and ethics, are fucking insane...The man deserves no moment of silence, no honor, no tribute of any kind...He let the worst type of predator run lose for more then decade, and he let him use Penn State University to help catch his victims...When Sandusky finally does die, Paterno will be waiting for him in hell!

-As I said, after dealing with two sick kids last week, it finally struck me...The wife kept the kids out of my hair, and besides crapping and sleeping, I watched the New York Rangers beat the Boston Bruins in overtime Saturday...It was everything that is great about hockey...Hard-nosed play...Both teams blocking shots, killing penalties, skating hard, hitting hard, and taking desperation shots to win it in OT...I know I speaking to a minority, but people, forget about that basketball garbage...Check out some hockey, it'll be good for ya!

-Friday night before I got sick, the wife and I had some quality time...A few minutes afterwards, she burped and said, "My burp tastes like your cum." That has nothing to do with anything, but I just thought I'd embarrass the Mrs...Maybe that explains why she had a minor case of the splatters Sunday!

-Sunday afternoon I was doing somewhat better, so I shoveled the driveway...Yes, it snowed Friday night, and the local news stations acted like this was some shocking, event...It's January in Cleveland, can we stop getting so worked up when it snows!

So after the shoveling, I took the Little Beeze sledding...there's a great hill near our house, just don't go there late at night, because some queen will be looking to pick you up for a rear-end fondue!

It was like a Norman Rockwell Winter scene...Well, a Rockwell scene with blood, tears, and compound fractures...Kids just flying down the hill, wiping other kids out...Some ass-hat adult wiped out Little Beeze and four other kids...I ran down to check on him, and the guy was handing him his sled, and the douche said, "He got drilled pretty good." I said, "No, shit asshole, you drilled him!" He asked if there was a problem, and I said, "No, just show me your kid, And I'll spend the rest of the day aiming for him!" He walked away, and I didn't see him again...

The boy loves when get geared up for a fight...Then he took his energy back on the hill...He wasted a couple of teen age girls, as he clipped on in the back of the legs and flipped her, he ran over her friends head...Bitch shouldn't have been laying there!

Another successful run!

Trying to Get Out of a Slump

Even Sparty has to hit a "Slumpbuster" sometimes!

Yes, I've been in a writing slump...So this is me trying to write my way out of it...My Monday Post did great numbers, but I wasn't happy with what I wrote...It was carried by the two pics in it, and the quality Bill Burr rant, and closed with the cute video of my baby girl dancing...The writing in between was filler...I apologize for that...

So why the slump...It started a couple weeks ago...I got some news that an old friend had passed...The how is still sketchy, but which ever way it happened, it crushed me...Not because we were close...We hadn't been in a long time...We were very close for a couple years in our youth...But over time we lost track of each other...Now I really wished we hadn't...I keep thinking, if I would have kept in touch, maybe this wouldn't have happened...The whole thing just rattled me...So, I've never been one to make a "New Year's Resolution" but I am now...I'm going to try my best to be a better friend...(No I can't lend you any money!)

Then last Saturday night I was out with some old friends from high school...We were having a blast...One guy, who was a Senior when I was a Freshman, who had taken me under his wing, showed up...I knew him well, because he was friends with my brother, and I think that's why he looked out for me right away...He was always smart, loud, obnoxious, and slightly douchey...That's why we liked him! Well, he walked into the pub, and holy fuck it got loud and obnoxious in there...And yes, slightly douchey, as he was wearing one brown shoe, and one tennis shoe...Almost 40, and he's totally the same!

The guy he rolled in with was always a funny son of a bitch...He was still funny, but the poor bastard's wife must not be...She started ringing his phone constantly, giving him shit for being out, and having some fun...Heaven forbid he see some people he hasn't seen in years...

Yeah, some of these people I hadn't seen in 12-15 years...So it's always good to break the ice with a story about paying a hooker years ago for a BLUMPY...Some people were shocked...Some were grossed out...Some were happy to see I hadn't changed either!

Of course we passed around our cell phones, and checked out each others kids...When you're in high school, you never think about being in a bar almost twenty years later with the same people, and talking about your kids...And Blumpies!

Then my phone rang...The little Beeze was puking...The wife was equipped to deal with that, and the baby, who was still awake, because she only goes to sleep for me...So I knocked back a water, cleaned the snow off my car, and got home...Yeah, I had some beers and drove...Don't get high and mighty...Most of us have done it...I'm not promoting it, it's just reality...I don't bullshit on this blog, and I'm not starting now...

So the boy was puking for a couple days...Then just as he was getting better, the baby got it...She's not a good puker...She fights it...Ends up choking herself...It's a battle...The boy, shit he just opens his mouth and lets it fly...So my little girl seemed to get over it in a day...But then it came back a couple days later...A little more puke city...I've been steam cleaning like a mother fucker...The wife and I have been pounding out laundry non-stop...And I'm just tired as fuck...The other night I slept sitting up, holding the baby because she just felt crappy and couldn't relax...It was a long couple nights, but she's okay now...

The wife and I had some quality time, and everyone is resting peacefully...Now I'm going to do the same...I hope this gets me back on track...

Well, I said it last week...No way Jesus Tebow was going to beat the Patriots...That's right, Timmy Tebow is a mortal...Kneel before the almighty Tom Brady!

Now I didn't get to see all the game...I was indulging in some fine beer and old memories, and making some new ones, with some old friends from high school...But I caught enough glimpses to see the Patriots were throttling the Broncos...Sadly my wife called and informed me the Little Beeze was puking his brains out, and she needed me to come home and help with the chaos...So I drank some water and headed out into the snow to get home...So I saw the end of the game, when it was well out of reach...45-10 final...

My favorite comic, Boston native, Bill Burr gave his prediction for the game on Friday...And also was distracted by some young ladies...

Now the big question is, how will the talking heads handle losing Tebow for the rest of the playoffs? Will they bash him for shitting the bed...Will they praise him, and start hyping for next year...Oh how will the dip-shits at ESPN handle it...I'd say I can't wait to see, but I can...I won't be watching...

Saturday's first game between the Saints and 49ers was fun to watch...The Niners defense took it to the Saints high-powered offense early...In the second half the teams duked it out and to many peoples surprise, it was Alex Smith and company topping Drew Brees and the Saints, with a late TD, winning 36-32...

Sunday, the Ravens took out the Texans, but considering Houston turned it over 3 times, they managed to hang in there and make the Ravens earn it 20-13...And speaking of the Ravens, our pal Steve is a big Ravens fan, who also works for UPS...Hey Steve, I figured out a way to improve business at UPS...Just some minor changes to the uniform, and who's in it...

Sunday's late game was the Packers vs. the Giants...Late in the week, the Giants became the sexy pick...I'm not sure why, that whole division was shit, and they barely made it in, but there they were Sunday evening, fucking up the defending "Super Bowl" champs. winning 37-20.

So now that the Packers are out I guess I have to change my "Super Bowl" picks...Yeah, I'm sticking with the Patriots, and I'll have them going up against the 49ers...Fuck the Giants, those shit heads have been so inconsistent all year...

So I mentioned the Little Beeze was sick...The puke kept coming Sunday...So I broke out the steam cleaner and washed the carpeting in the two rooms he covered in vomit...The Mrs. was doing laundry non-stop, and we were both getting mentally prepared for the other two getting sick...So far, it's just him...I hope it stays that way...There was a highlight in our house from this weekend...Little Miss Molly getting her groove on...

I can always count on her to make us smile...As for my little get together Saturday, well that will get it's own blog post...But in the limited time there, one thing was for sure...We will be doing this more often!

Before I go, we should remember that it is Martin Luther King Day...Yeah, I'm talking to you chick at the Fish House who didn't know this holiday existed...As for what the schools are teaching about Rev. King...Well, I don't know, because the Little Beeze came home from school Friday and informed me that "Martin Luther King Jr. was shot with a bazooka...Time to move to a better school system!

First, let me start by saying this...The blurred boxes over these guys cocks, is being very generous...

Second, am I the only person not shocked by this? News broke Wednesday that there was pictures and video of U.S. Marines pissing on some insurgents they took out...Seriously, I just assumed that on occasion, military personnel, who have seen some serious combat may have to let off some steam...And possibly some piss on the bastards they've been battling...And I doubt that U.S. troops are the first and only to do this...I'm not saying all have done it, I'm just saying some probably have...

I've never served in the military...I've never been in combat, and had mother fuckers shooting at me...The most intense battle I ever had was chaperoning Little Beeze's kindergarten class to the Zoo...Now I didn't piss on anyone, but I was frazzled...So I would guess that if I made through a fire-fight in Afghanistan, I might piss on some one...Shit, I've farted in people's faces just for shits and giggles! Yeah, Pittsburgh, Jesus hates you!!! Sunday in a battle of his demons and better angels, Jesus picked his side...St. Tebow's side! Holy shit, it's like God reached down, and loaned Timmy boy his son Jesus' arm...All the sudden kid could sling it...Of course he was down there helping the defense again, and the Holy Spirit was handling the kicking duties...But let's keep it real...Just ask ESPN...CBS...And the NFL Network...It was all Jesus Tebow! The coaching staff and their game plan had nothing to do with...God told them 'Open the playbook, Jesus Tebow has this one!'

Now you know I'm not a Tebow fan...Nor am I a fan of religion being slammed in my face...Or athletes acting like God chooses sides in a game...Hell, after all my years of Catholic education, and corruption, and cover ups in so many of the diocese, I have had many questions and doubts about my own faith...But if I'm gonna pick a side between Tebow and Co. vs the Shittsburgh Steelers...I'm going against the Steelers...So I enjoyed seeing the Broncos open up the playbook...They had a plan on Offense and Defense to go after the Steelers, and it worked...Now I can't wait to watch the Patriots put Tebow back in his place!

As for this weekend's other football games, I didn't bother...I expected Saturday's games to be let-downs, and they were...Yeah, the Lions were in that game for the first half, but then the Saints got things firing on all cylinders...Instead I was watching some quality College Hockey...

Now I know some of you must be thrown off...This is the first time in probably two years, that Monday Moaning didn't have some T&A starting it off...Don't worry, I brought some...I had an extra holiday Rosie Jones shot I wanted to use, so why wait for next year...

Now, in case you missed it, You Gab Sports handed out the TOOL_OF_THE_YEAR to everyone's favorite creep...Yes, it wasn't a shock this year, but it was much deserved...

Now, here's a couple other thoughts I have...

~How can the Cowboys be America's team when they aren't even the best team in their own state?

~Can we not call it the Cotton Bowl, since it wasn't played in the Cotton Bowl!

Here's one thing I want to touch on about the Winter Classic...Most it has been talked about, but I want to say this...Scott Hartnell of the Flyers is a real fucking shit-dick...After Mike Rupp did his mock Jagr salute after scoring a goal, Hartnell trashed him saying "he's only got two goals in his career"...Actually he has 52...Oh, and he has a Stanley Cup Game Winner...How many Cups has Hartnell won? Oh yeah...ZERO!

Hartnell then got in Rupp's face and said, "Have some respect, Jagr is a Hall of famer." I was hoping Rupper would lay him out, but he kept cool at that moment...I want to know this...If Jagr is "Hall of Famer" (which of course he isn't yet but all expect him to be) then why the fuck did his pussy ass sit on the bench for two periods...Fuck him, and fuck Philly for overpaying his old ass...And fuck Hartnell, especially trying to start some cheap shit after the game was over...Got could die from AIDS today, and I'd laugh!

My last thing is the Pro-Bowl...Like any "All-STAR" game, it's bullshit...But I expected better from the NFL since idiot fans can't stuff the ballot box...I guess I have to stop expecting much from anyone...WHY? Because these assholes some how didn't put the Leagues two leading tacklers in the game...London Fletcher, and the Browns D'Qwell Jackson...Yeah, the Browns sucked balls all year, but you can't argue that this poor bastard didn't have a great year...A great year after being out for a year and a half do to injuries...A middle linebacker, with 158 tackles, 116 solo, 3.5 sacks, 1 fumble forced, 3 fumbles recovered, and an interception...Dude killed it on a horrible team, but instead Ray 'accessory to murder Lewis with his 95 tackles is going...Fuck the NFL!

Oh, and JDIN827 fuck you for waiting until the end of the season to half-heartedly say what I've been saying for 2 years...Eat a dick, and drop dead!

"New Year's Rockin' Eve" My Ass!

Seriously, look at that orange bastard...Every year ABC has Dick Clark ,and his moosh mouth, propped up like another sequel to "Weekend at Bernie's"...This shit is ridiculous...Since his stroke a number of years ago, Dick has struggled with the countdown...Shit, he's struggled to talk, but it's his show, and whether it's him, or the network, the son of a bitch is there every year saying "Nappy Dew Year!"

While that's annoying as hell, I can get past the freak show aspect...But I have a big problem with the title..."Rockin' Eve"?????? There wasn't a a rockin' act all night...There wasn't even rock act...It was all Pop, Rap, and Country...It was garbage...

That annoying cunt Lady Gaga was on, doing her 'Look at me, I'm so profound' bullshit again...Hey, Gaga we already saw Madonna do this shit years ago...You try to sound like her, and you try to make a spectacle like her...You aren't profound or original...You're just a another dirty gash!

But then I got really pissed, when fucking Justin Bieber rolls out...Sitting at a piano, trying to talk all deep, and share his life lessons with us, and then he jumps into The Beatles "Let It Be"...Fuck you! This little shit ruined it...And for the guitar solo they wheel Carlos Santana out there...They got the Biebes playing a Beatles tune, with old ass Santana...Hmm, you think they are trying to sell him to an older audience as well now!?!

Yep, Time to break out that 2012 Rosie Jones Calendar!

It's 2012 and where the fuck is my Jetson's flying car!?! I guess we haven't advanced as much as people thought we would...Now before I wave goodbye to 2011, I just want to say this...New Year's Eve, on Twitter and Facebook, lots of people were shitting on 2011, and wishing it away...Hey, I get it, people have good years, and bad years...The Browns more bad than good...But every year has highs and lows...We all tend to remember the bad, hell, I made my blogging name on the bad! Thanks Sandusky and Penn State for that week of hate filled blogs...Oh, and China, for my post FUCK_CHINA which was my highest drawing post of the year, and my in-traffic from South-East Asian has really shot up! THIS post has done well too, with 2,545 views...I wonder why?

But there was plenty of good too...Bin Laden is dead right! And this is cute as hell right?

Look at me starting off 2012 trying to be positive...Ha! Then I watched the Browns game! Yeah, they lost to the Steelers...They kept it close, but couldn't pull it out...But at this point, why win...Keep yourself in line for a good draft pick...No, I'm not getting into who the Browns should draft..Lots of Cleveland fans and talking heads were all over the Browns drafting RG3 after Baylor's bowl shootout with Washington...

Thing is, these dummies don't even realize that wasn't even close to his best game...And then there are the guys that were knocking him, while basically saying they had only seen a couple of his games...I've been paying attention to the kid for 3 years...He can make all the throws...He's smart, and yes he can run...But if you watch enough, you'll see he uses his speed and athleticism to extend plays and look down field more...Unlike Vick when he was in college, when he looked at the primary target, and then just ran...Kid is solid...

But if the Browns draft him, they better get a couple WR's and O-linemen for him, or else he'll end up getting Tim Couched, just like Colt McCoy and other who came before him...The Browns might be better off going after free-agent Matt Flynn, who passed for, what, a thousand yards Sunday against the Lions, while Aaron Rogers chilled on the bench...The Browns have lots of holes to fill, before they throw another rookie QB out there to get killed!

Monday is one of the NHL's big-time events...The Winter Classic...They backed down to the big boys and moved from New Year's Day, so not to compete with the NFL...Smart I guess, but since I have to work Monday, I'm not real happy about the game being Monday afternoon...DVR is set! But if you have the time, check it out...It's a great rivalry between the Rangers and Flyers, and the whole vibe of playing out doors is great...

If you have Versus, it's switching Monday to NBC Sports, and they are going all-in on Hockey...Monday evening they'll be showing a documentary on the Summit Series...When Canadian All-Star (NHLers included) faced the Soviet Union in an 8 game series....NBC Sports also is getting into College Hockey...They launched there coverage Saturday night with Notre Dame beating Boston University, followed by a documentary on ND's Hockey program...A network tied into ND and Hockey...I like it!

Before I go, I wanted to put in a video of the Little Beeze...For Christmas, he wanted a bunch of "Ugly Dolls"...He saw them on YouTube and got hooked...He got some, and he's been making videos with them on his iPod Touch...Kid cracks me up...Sunday we put some of his Christmas money, and a Toys-R-Us gift card to use, and he got some more...So what are "Ugly Dolls"? Here ya go!

Monday Moaning

Now that says Merry Christmas! And I need to something like that...This is the part of Christmas I hate...It's over...All the planning, and all the work...The cooking...Then poof, it's over...Christmas night I'll be up late watching "Christmas Vacation" and any other Christmas movie that's on late...Just trying to hang on a little longer...I love this time of year...I wish we all could remember to be this caring and family friendly, all year around...But sadly, for many people, they need this December reminder...

We had fun, although Mrs. Beeze started getting sick Friday night...She felt lousy, but she made it through...But after our Christmas Eve party, she crashed early...The Santa duties were all on me...Holy shit these kids are spoiled!

Yeah, That's just what the mighty Santa did...Earlier Christmas Eve they were hooked up by their grandparents, and uncles...

The Little Beeze was up at 5:30 AM...We made him go back to bed and wait until 7:00...At 7:00AM exactly he waking up the house...By 7:30AM everything was unwrapped. He was thrilled with all the loot he got...He's always happy when he gets gifts, but this year we nailed it...It was great...His older sister was thrilled too...She didn't get the big money item she wanted from Santa, but she never mentioned it...She was really happy with what she got, and seems to be trying to hold on to the myth...Maybe just for us...

Then there was the baby...She isn't much for opening gifts yet...Christmas Eve she was over-joyed with a card...Walking around the house, waving it around, babbling with a smile on her face...Christmas morning she was a bit overwhelmed by it all...Up earlier then she wanted, and the chaos, and the extra people and noise was getting to her...She was digging this dog my wife got her...It laughs and keeps rolling over, back and forth...It cracked her up, but added to my Christmas Ale headache...

By at 8:30 I sent the wife back to bed, and got Molly down for a nap...After her nap she still didn't want to deal with this Christmas stuff...She kept going to the basement steps...So we went down there...Away from all the Christmas stuff, and away from everyone...She had a blast, just doing her thing, with the stuff she knew...

Later in the day I took the kids to my parents fro dinner, and more noise and chaos...We only stayed a couple hours...The baby wanted out, and I understand why...Back at home we watched the final showing of "A Christmas Story"...Kids had their baths, and crashed...With all the chaos, and a sick wife, it was still a great Christmas.

-Now that I covered that...How about some football...SHOCKING NEWS!!! The Browns lost Saturday to the Ravens! To be honest, I didn't even watch...I did see a bit of the Jets vs. Giants...Holy shit, can we all agree that Mark Sanchez is one of the worst QB's in the NFL...What an overrated, cunt...Just like his overrated coach, and overrated team...Just a whole room full of overrated cunts! After the Giants win, Brandon Jacobs let the world know what he thought of stupid Rex Ryan...

It's about time some one got in front of a camera and microphone, and said what we all think!

Hey, did you see what happened to the Broncos and Saint Tebow...They got their asses rolled for the second week in a row...All that Tebow hype is starting to quiet down, now that he teams Defense is getting schooled...Oh, and he's not that good of a QB!

Adrian Peterson's knee was destroyed Saturday...It's said he tore the ACL, and there seems to be trouble withe MCL...I guess he won't be the #1 fantasy pick next year!

I'm sitting here in Cleveland, dreaming of a white Christmas, that won't be coming...The weather being completely messed up this year, has Cleveland feeling like Seattle...It's rained all week long, with high temps in the upper 40's and low 50's...It feels odd to me, and it's throwing my Holiday spirit off...But I keep pushing on...

Wednesday I took the kids to the mall to pick up another gift or two for the Mrs....On the way there, Little Beeze asked if there would be girls there...I said, "At the mall? Of course there will." He said, "Good, I hope there are lots of hot girls there!" That's my boy...7 years old and cock-strong! Well in case they weren't at the mall, we know they'll be at the top of my blog!

Now all the shopping is done...The wrapping, just about done...Stuff is hidden...There is still plenty of cooking and cleaning to do before our little Christmas Eve party...Between, work, the kids, and getting ready for Christmas Eve, and Christmas day, it's been crazy...And then in a flash, it's all over...All this work, and stress, and poof, it's over...

But there are the memories...I'm sure little Beeze and Molly, will give us plenty to smile about, while our oldest looks like she will give into peer pressure, and be done with the whole Santa thing...Especially since Santa said fuck no to the Dog she wants and the $150 doll she wants...A fucking doll to sit on a shelf, and collect dust, for $150...Fuck all that! Although the way my wife spent on her, she could have gotten two of those things!

But Christmas isn't just about Santa and gifts and parties, and lights, and trees, all that fun shit...That's what we're suppose to say right? It's about that wonderful miracle, of an unmarried, virgin, somehow winding up pregnant...

A spirit did it? I tried to tell my wife that's what happened the first time too...That shit didn't fly! I won't get into any religious debate here, I'm just saying, today if some chick gave me that line, I wouldn't believe her...Many of the faith based stories are hard to buy into...

This time of year also makes me think about those who aren't in our lives anymore...Whether it be because they have passed away, or because we just grew apart...Either way, I always think of them around Christmas, and miss them dearly...Then I'll think of those who want to be with their loved ones, but are forced apart because of military commitments...Just sucks...(Time for a musical interlude)

I feel like I'm just rambling on here...I' guess I'm just trying to shake off a bit of the holiday blues, and get my Holly Jolly back...I'm sure I'll get there after I get out of the Fish House tomorrow (with a X-mas Bonus in my pocket)...

Oh, and one last thing...For the ladies...When Santa is done doing spreading good cheer...Do spreading yourself, and a drop and gobble is always nice too!

Another Kid Touching Creep...

Unreal...It seems we can't go a couple weeks without some public figure in the sports world being outed for being a kid toucher...I saw it on DEADSPIN today that this fat ass Philadelphia Daily News Sports Columnist made a habit of getting his creep on with kids...Family members' kids, friends of his kids...Boys and girls both...

When I first saw him on ESPN's "The Sports Reporters" I knew right away, I hated him...I just assumed it was because he was a Philly guy...We all know how I hate Philly sports/fans...So their reporters have to be assholes as well, right? I guess so...At least this one...It doesn't matter what the fuck he ever wrote about sports in Philly...Read those accounts in Deadspin, and you'll hate the fat bastard too...

And for the parents who found out, and just gave him a stern warning, and kept their kids away from him from then on...You're assholes too...The damage was already done, and you didn't do enough...How you don't get the police involved, I just don't understand...Actually, I don't understand why no one killed him...Let me make this clear...Anyone ever messes with any of my kids, they're dead...And no one will ever find the body.

Well Merry Christmas!

So this past week I went silent...I haven't posted a blog since last Monday Moaning...I did little on Twitter or Facebook...Just needed a bit of a break...Plus it's been busy here...These couple weeks are busy at the Fish House, so I've been trying to get more sleep instead of being up until 2:00AM and then getting up with the kids at 6:30AM...

Then there's getting ready for Christmas...And we had a birthday last week...It's already been a year since this picture was taken of my baby girl laying on my chest the night she was born...

Sometimes blogging just has to take a backseat to shit like that...Now let's get into some sports...We'll start with the shitty Browns...Yeah, they lost again Sunday, in OT to Arizona...Whatever...I want to talk about how Mike Holmgren has been doing his job as President of the Browns...For guy making nearly 10 million dollars a year, he really sucks...Twice he has addressed the media this year...Both times after the media and fans have raised their voices about where is this guy, what is he doing, and why is he on radio shows in Seattle instead of Cleveland...

In his press conference last week he informed us that "NO ONE" on the Browns medical staff, or coaching staff knew that Colt McCoy had his brain caved in by James Harrison..."No One saw him get hit in the head." How is it that the Browns staff are the only people on Earth who didn't see that hit!?! I guess they all have their heads up their asses!

Then Fatty Holmgren got pissy with the media for questioning him, and what he's doing...Earlier that day, long time Cleveland Plain Dealer columnist Bud Shaw took Holmgren to task, saying that it doesn't matter who's in charge, "it's business as usual." He also eluded to what many of us think...Fatty is just collecting a check...And that was mild compared to what some of the radio guys were saying...So fatty got pissed at the media and said, "You're either with us, or you're not, so remember that when you come looking for extra playoff tickets."

WHAT!?! How the fuck is this guy talking about playoffs!?! This team is so far from that it's unreal...And you know what Fatty...It's the media's job to question you...And true fans should question you...True fans get pissed after watching a team suck year after year...No one is going to kneel down and kiss your ring...Why? Because you didn't win it here fat fuck!

-So how about those Packers...My pal Ryan has been harping on me all year to write up some love for his Packers...So I was watching them play the Chiefs Sunday, and planning on hyping a perfect season...But then, I noticed after every play that a guy made a first down, he was doing that stupid, hand gesture, showing he did his job...I already hated the Clay Matthews Jr. sack celebration, so now I was getting annoyed, and rooting against them...I didn't actually think the Chiefs would hold on, but damn...They D'ed up big time...Kept Rogers uncomfortable all day, and their offense just kept plugging away at that weak Packers defense...And the '72 Dolphins rejoiced!

- Then there was Jesus Tebow...Now last time I checked the Scripture, Jesus was the son of God...Tebow, I may give the Holy Spirit...But Sunday he, and his Broncos teammates, saw God...Tom fucking Brady...He's gotta be the closest thing to the almighty...All he does his shine up his Super Bowl rings, and MVP's...Sling it like a cock-strong, mother fucker...Win...And speaking of cock-strong, he created life with not only a hot actress, but also his super model wife...Shit, he sounds like the Holy Trinity to me!

Yeah, it's nice to see Tebow, Denver, and the Tebow followers, get a dose of reality! If your boy Timmy is such a miracle worker, and has the ear of God, then why is he wasting his time with Football...Go cure Cancer with your magical powers!

-Christmas time means something else besides, shopping, and gifts, and parties...It means here comes the non-stop 3 week parade of College Football Bowl Games...This week we get into the madness with plenty of average teams going at it to make a few extra bucks...I'm dogging on them, but I'll be watching a bit of Florida Int. vs. Marshall on Tuesday night...

Why a Patriots hottie to start this week? Why not!?! Look at her...And that beast Gronkowski hit that...Oh, and the fact that the Patriots offense is a machine, that I think is on course to take on the Packers machine in the "Super Bowl." Who needs defense when you have a couple of offenses that can make the scoreboard flash "TILT!!!"

So a lot happened in the sports world this past week...And the idiotic world of Baseball got things started off Monday when they decided to finally let Ron Santo into the Baseball Hall of Fame, a year after he died...Of course I had plenty to say about THIS...

Then the Los Angeles Angels, who aren't in Los Angeles, gave Albert Pujols (31 supposedly) a ten year 250 million dollar contract...That is an insane amount of money, and an insane amount of years for a guy that has a lot of wear and tear on him already...I think it's stupid, but at least Pujols didn't sign with Miami and their new stupid uniforms...

Then Saturday news broke about NL MVP, RYAN_BRAUN testing positive for steroids...I don't give a shit what he says...Baseball has put itself in a position of, you're guilty until proven innocent...Maybe that's because we have yet to see some one accused of juicing, be found Innocent of it...Fuck him, the fucking cheating cunt that he is!

It's this shit...Stories like these three that push more and more people, including me, away from Baseball...Fuck all of them, they can eat my ass!

But there was good news Saturday night, as I got to TOOT my own horn after Robert Griffin III won the Heisman Trophy...Baylor got their first Heisman winner, and Griffin proved you don't have to be playing for one of the big boys to get some attention...Kid has great skills, and a good head on his shoulders and he deserved it the most...I was glad the invited Montee_Ball from Wisconsin, since his numbers were better then the highly hyped Trent_Richardson...Yeah, if you click the links to those two guys, it goes to their stats...Ball has him beat!

So, the embarrassing Browns were on the NFL Network's Thursday Night game this past week, against former rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers...I say former, because it can't be a rivalry if one team keeps getting their asses whooped each year...This was a boring ass game, but the Browns defense nutted up and kept the team in the game...Just to see Colt McCoy an his merry band of shitty offensive player suck it up some more...Then cheap-shotting, head hunting, James Harrison did this...

I don't care what anyone says, Harrison is a fucking asshole...This isn't a freak thing with him...He does this shit on a continuous basis...Hell he got two Browns players last year in the same quarter...But what do you expect from dolts that come out of Kent read, Kent write, Kent State...

Thankfully my Sunday wasn't ruined by a Browns game...It was cold here in Cleveland, but the sun was out, so it wasn't too bad...So that meant Molly and I were heading to the park for a little swinging time...We got some in on Thursday too...So far December has been okay weather wise, and we're taking advantage of it...

It was just back on July 15, when I wrote THIS saying how RGIII was my guy for the Heisman...And if you read my Monday posts for the last few weeks, you saw me banging the drum for my guy!

And then it happened tonight...The "experts" said it wouldn't, but it did...The Beeze was right...Maybe the voters do read some good shit, like my blog, because this years Heisman Trophy winner, was none other than Baylor's Robert Griffin III.

Congrats to Griffin...And Congrats to his teammates, and Baylor University.

The BCS+Jeff Sagarin+Nick Saban = TOOLS

As my good friend B-Dub pointed out Monday, back in 2003 Nick Saban had this to say, "Anyone that doesn't win their conference has no business playing in the national championship game."

So, why hasn't Saban refused to have his team play in the BCS Championship game? His Alabama team didn't win their conference...Hell, they didn't even make it into the conference championship game? Why, because they lost to LSU!

Supporters of the BCS have always defended the system saying that it makes every regular season game count...Well clearly it doesn't, because LSU already beat 'Bama, yet some tool, Jeff Sagarin and his computer program have said 'NOT GOOD ENOUGH! PLAY AGAIN!' So if 'Bama wins, will LSU then get a rematch? No...This tool and his computer program have had Alabama playing in this game all year...

The theory of the BCS is to have the two best teams in the country play for the title...Play for the title, without a playoff...It has lead people to think that teams have to go undefeated, which is a tough thing to do...And it's pretty rare that you'll get two teams, and only two teams that will be undefeated at the end of the year...There have been many years where an undefeated is left outside looking in, because of the computer systems...We've even seen an undefeated team not in the game, while one loss teams play...There are so many flaws it's unreal...

No playoff is retarded...College football, while not "Pros" it is a major sport...Look at the championship winning teams from the past year in major sports...In a BCS type system, with no playoff, the Dallas Mavericks wouldn't have played for the NBA Championship...The Green Bay Packers wouldn't have played in the "Super Bowl"...The Boston Bruins wouldn't have played for the Stanley Cup final...The St. Louis Cardinals wouldn't have played in the World Series...

In all those sports, the regular season mattered...All those teams had to claw their way through it, and fight to get into the playoffs...Then they had to grind through playoffs to be the last team standing...But with college football, we have the BCS...The Bowl Championship Series...A bunch of bowl games that mean nothing, except for the money they generate, and one that means everything...But the games that are played, meant to decided who plays for it all, mean nothing...A Tool, and his computer program decide...

Supposedly strength of schedule is figured in...Every team has a weak opponent or two, and some teams that are thought to be better, but end up having a down year...Well, Alabama played 3 weak SEC teams, along with North Texas, Kent State, and D-2 Georgia Southern...That's 6 weak ass teams...Half their schedule...Looking at Oklahoma State's schedule, there are 4-5 weak games on there...Their one loss just like 'Bama's, a close game, an OT game, a conference game...But guess what...They won their conference, so once again let's look at what Nick Saban said in 2003...

Fuck the Baseball Hall Of Fame

A year ago, on the day he died, I wrote THIS about Ron Santo and the Baseball Hall of Fame...

Today it was announced that the veterans committee have elected to put Santo in the Hall...'Better late then never right!?!' NO! Fucking wrong!

Everyone who has voted against Santo should be stripped of their voting privileges...Clearly, they have no clue about what they are doing...That post I have linked above compares his numbers to the great Brooks Robinson...Robinson, who many say was one of the greatest 3rd basemen of all time...And I would agree, but Santo's stats are right in line with his American League counterpart...

Yet it took Santo dying, before these ass-hats realized he belonged in the Hall of Fame...Now he won't get to enjoy it...His family won't get to enjoy it, because he won't be there...I honestly hope his family tells the Hall to go fuck themselves...

I often talked about wanting to go there...Then last year when Santo died, I told myself I'm not going...Never...I still feel that way...As a matter of fact, I'd love to see that idiotic place burn to the ground, along with the homes of those who kept Santo out of the Hall all these years...You're all fucking assholes...

I hope Santo is resting in peace...And I hope those who disrespected him don't.

Who's up for some Horse Play? Why not, the BCS is full of Horse Shit! Yes, I'm sure it will be the big topic all over the blogosphere...The NCAA Football Championship game is going to be a rematch between LSU and Alabama...Rematch? This shit is truly retarded...Those who argue in favor of the BCS say that it works because it all about the games that are played...Well clearly it's not, because these two teams already played, and LSU won...There is no need for this game...'Bama, Saban, and their shitty kickers already showed they can't beat LSU...Next please!

Who should be next? Well based on who played who, and who beat who, and what the records are, there is no doubt in my mind that Oklahoma State should be playing LSU for the title...But people are in so much aww of the SEC and keep saying they have the best talent, so of course the polls are going to push for two SEC teams in the Championship game...

Now if you look at the SEC standing and stats, half the conference just sucks...Just like half the Big Ten sucks...Just like half the Big-12 sucks...75% of the PAC-12 sucks...All but 2 teams in the ACC suck...And all of the Big East sucks! So is this love affair with the SEC justified? I don't think so!

But this topic is an annoying topic that seems to come up almost every year, because this fucked up system works so well!

So this weekend, the Beeze family started celebrating our oldest daughter's birthday at a fundraiser for my childhood parish...Nothing like a little Breakfast with Santa to get in a festive mood...

The kids had fun making ornaments, listening to stories that Mrs. Claus was reading, and of course, sitting down with the big guy...

After that I got the baby down for a nap and got ready to watch some football...I really liked seeing the guy I've been hyping for the Heisman, Robert Griffin III get some National TV time...

Then Sunday came...We had our daughter's birthday party...A couple hours of kid madness, and then we came home and got some quiet...The baby was napping and the other two played quietly...I was making dinner and listening to the radio, while the wife watched some shitty show on TV...Then 4 o'clock came, and the Browns game started...Every time the Browns play the Ravens I think about Steve Everritt, and what a cool guy he was, and how proud he was to be a Brown, even after they moved...

But, the game started, and it was hard to be proud to be a Browns fan again...Mike Polk wasn't lying when he called Browns Stadium a "Factory of Sadness"...

Well, Thanksgiving has passed so now the mad Christmas rush starts...It's bad enough that stores had Christmas stuff out before Halloween, but now the crazy starts strong...Like all the nut-jobs obsessed with all the deals they can get on Black Friday...I saw this picture, and I had to use it...

I haven't been the biggest supporter of the Occupy Wall Street movement...Mainly because there was no real leadership, or focus...I got what some of the people were talking about, but it was overshadowed too much by the ass-hats that kept getting camera time...But the picture says a lot...The Occupy people were shit on for what they did...Probably by many of these fuck-stains that act like lunatics on Black Friday...Fuck that, I'd rather pat full price, or get a good Christmas Eve sale!

Now before I get into any Sports shit...Here is my REVIEW of an over-hyped, shitty, Grilled Cheese joint...What fucking assholes!

So now we move on to sports...Saturday was the big Ohio State vs. Michigan game...No I don't say Meeeeeeeechigan...I hate them, but that just looks, and sounds stupid when people do that...Now, I also hate Ohio State so I didn't really care about the game...And this year's game just wasn't as hyped as in years past, with OSU having a down year and Michigan getting themselves back on track...So I took the baby for a walk, and then we took a nap...We woke up with a minute and change left in the game...The Buckeyes lost for the first time in 7 years, or something like that...

After that I jumped online and started seeing the tweets and facebook updates...Buckeye fan blowing it off like it was no big deal...Listing their excuses why they lost...Neglecting to list that the big reason that caused so many of those small reasons was that Coach Tressel let his players break NCAA rules, tried to hide it and lied about it, and brought down a proud program in a matter of months...But Buckeye fan doesn't care...They are blogging, and tweeting, and talking about how Urban Meyer is coming to Columbus to save them...

The same Urban Meyer who had a large number of players at Florida get busted for breaking NCAA rules...The same Urban Meyer who quit twice in one year because of health reasons, and wanted to spend time with his family...So it's rumored Ohio State is throwing a huge 7 year deal at him...I wonder if he'll actually make it through that contract...Don't get me wrong, Meyer was a great coach...If you look what he did before Florida, you can see that...He made BGSU a MAC power, then he turned Utah around, and made Alex Smith a first round draft pick...But OSU fan, I see him doing one of two things...Getting your program in more trouble, or quitting in 4 years after being run down again...Oh, and of course, he actually has to take the job...So far, everything has just been speculation...

And don't give me shit for be critical of your damn teams...If you've read me before you know I'm just as honest and critical of my teams...Not all of us go through life with rose colored glasses...So with that, The Notre Dame Fighting Irish went to Stanford to take on Andrew Luck and company...And in the first half, they looked like shit...I thought it was going to be a blow out...Then coach Kelly got that stiff QB Tommy Rees out of there, and put Freshman QB Andrew Hendrix in...Hendrix is perfect for Kelly's spread offense...He runs like Tebow, but he has a fucking cannon for an arm...

Hendrix, along with help from the defense got the Irish back in the game...They lost 28-14, but at least they kept it respectable...

Sunday we put up our Christmas tree, and broke out some decorations...The kids were fired up about it...In the background, The Cleveland Browns were searching out another way to lose a game...Holy shit these receivers drop a lot of passes! Then with less then 2 minutes left...The Browns can take the lead with a field goal...And for the second time in 3 weeks, Butch Davis' best draft pick, long snapper, Ryan Pontbriand fucked up the snap, and Phil Dawson missed the kick...Dude use to be a clutch kicker, and now his snapper is choking and he's pushing kicks wide...Unreal!

Then the Patriots kicked the shit out of "The Dream Team" from Philly...The Eagles looked so bad, those animals in Philly are calling for Andy Reid's big fat head...What took you idiots so long...Fucking guy is grossly overrated...Oh, and as a father he produces quality kids...You know, those two drug dealing sons of his...What? Too Soon? Fuck you! Fuck him! and Fuck his criminal sons! You know what, fuck his wife and her criminal producing gash too!

Speaking of Philly shit heads...The Rangers and Flyers had a warm up for their Winter Classic match up...Lundqvist threw a shutout, and of course some punches were thrown too...

Oh, did you see the Broncos won again? That's right, the lord and savior, Tim Tebow has gotten another win under his belt...Sure, he didn't play defense...Sure he didn't play special teams, but he sure as shit is going to get all the credit from the ass-hats on ESPN and the NFL Network, and from radio talking heads...'Fucking Tebow wins another game, put his ass in the Hall of Fame!'

I know, I'm so negative...So I'll close on a positive...I tweeted a link to this video on Thanksgiving, saying how thankful I am for this little girl...I'm thankful for all my kids, and my wife, and family and friends...But she was singled out, because she was unexpected, and to be honest, for a few minutes when I first found out she was on the way, I didn't want her...Now, I can't imagine my life without her...I can't believe she's almost a year old...

Okay, for a few years now, I've been of the mindset of, "Fuck Melt!" Over=priced, over-hyped grilled cheese, served by a bunch of douchebags that thing they are too good to be waiting on you...

Well, after tonight, my mind has not been changed at all...Fuck these fucking cock sucking douchebags!

After going to a movie this evening, the Mrs. and I were feeling hungry...We checked with the sitter, the kids were doing well...Baby was asleep, no problems...We saw the Melt in Independence, Ohio and said 'what the hell...Lets give it another try...Past experiences had us waiting an hour for a table (first come first serve)...And then be waited on by a dolt with too may piercing and too many tattoos, who had an attitude that doing her job, waiting on us, was some how beneath her...Of course she thought highly of herself, already be well trained as a human pin-cushion...

Then there was the food...I would describe it as "DRUNK FOOD"...Shit I was making at 3:00 AM when I was drunk, 15 years ago...Yet the mastermind behind Melt, egomaniac, Matt Fish thinks he's greatest culinary mind on Earth...Hey, I love grilled cheese like a mother fucker, but slapping a pirogi in the middle of one is no great shakes...A fucking retard could come up with that!

But back to tonight...We walk in, and ask the hostess about how long...She says 20 minutes, and I peeked at the clipboard...There were only 2 parties ahead of us...We put in our name and had a seat...After that a couple more parties came in...About 30 minutes into our wait, the tables ahead of us had been sat, so we were looking forward to getting to a table soon...Then a party of 4 came in...They went right up to the hostess stand, and it was clear they were friends with the people that worked there...2 minutes later, they were sat...

We looked at the people around us, and it was clear everyone was pissed about this...My wife got up, and started scanning the floor for any other open tables...There were none...Then she approached the hostess...She asked "did those people have a reservation?"...The twat responded by saying, "We don't take reservations, it's first come first serve." The Mrs. said, "Well they just got here, and we've been waiting for awhile now." So the twat says, "Oh, they put their name in like a hour ago, and then came back."

This is where I step in..."No they didn't...If they did, why did you tell us, it was only a 20 minute wait." Twat said, "Yes sir, they did." ..."Ummm, no they didn't, I saw the sheet, and there were only two names ahead of ours, and they were sat." Twat now change to cunt..."Are you calling me a liar?" ...."Yes, you're a lying cunt...Fuck your shitty grilled cheese!"

And we left...I stopped there, because the next thing to come out of my mouth was, 'I hope the next time you get your stupid lip, or nose, or whatever pieced....I hope a dirty needle is involved, and you get the AIDS...Not Magic Johnson AIDS that can be fixed with Millions of dollars and Swedish doctors, but the nasty, bad AIDS, you stupid dirty cunt!'

These Football Helmets are Getting Out of Hand

Yeah, this year's Maryland gear is nuts...But that's not all...A couple weeks ago Maryland played Notre Dame in what they called "The Shamrock Series"...The Irish put on their green jerseys, but also added a tricked out helmet...

Now I kinda like the shamrock but I'm not sure about the pattern...Then during the game I heard that the pattern was done by hand pressing velvet to get the look...Seems like a lot of work...

Then today I saw the price tag...Each of those Notre Dame helmets cost $1,200...WTF!?! Now I don't know if the University of Notre Dame had to put up the $1,200 per helmet cost, or if Adidas footed the bill...Either way it seems crazy to me...

So Why Did We Fight For the Colors?

So I ended My Monday post with this picture, basically asking what is wrong with it...Look close, it's something that has gone on all year long...The Browns were at home, and once again, as they have for every home game this year, the Browns were wearing all white uniforms...

Maybe this seems like a trivial thing, but I remember the day the news broke, that the Browns were being moved to Baltimore...The city was in full-blown, panic/anger mode...When the realization set in that there was no getting OUR Browns back, the city and fans jumped into action...

All the sudden the politicians were all in on building a new stadium...Funny how that worked...When Modell asked, they said stick it...When Modell asked for a renovation of the old stadium, they said stick it...He didn't hold them hostage the way the Jacobs did...Yes, the Jacobs made it clear they would move the Indians if they didn't get a new stadium...Suddenly our smokes and beers were getting an extra tax so the Indians could get a new stadium...It didn't matter that they had sucked for my entire life at that point...Yet the Browns, who everyone loved, who always sold out, who were competitive most the time got screwed by the politicians...So Modell said stick it!

Then the fans and city officials fought the NFL and Modell for the rights to the Browns History, Name, and Colors...So why the fuck aren't they wearing the colors...They are the Cleveland Browns, and with the exception of the numbers and a few stripes, we haven't seen and brown.

So this week I have no loss for words...Partly thanks to Boston College rolling into South Bend...I didn't see her around, but after the weekend the Eagles had, I bet she stayed for some Fighting Irish cock!

First Friday night, the #3 BC hockey team came into to face the #4 Fighting Irish...It was a good, tough, physical battle...Both teams gave each other all they had...And it went to overtime, with The Irish pulling out the win, with less then 2 seconds left...Here's a 2 and a half minute highlight show for ya...

Then Saturday, the Eagles football team, which blows big time this year, had to take on the Irish, and all the hoopla that goes with Senior day...Now the Irish defense played well, as they have most of the year...The offense, while they put up over 400 yards total yards, they had a lot of trouble punching it into the end zone...BC's defense made a point to rattle QB Tommy Rees...The secondary was giving him different looks, while the pass rush kept him in check, knowing that he can't run to save his life...

It wasn't a pretty game, and once again, after the Irish get back in the national rankings, they fell flat on their face...A double digit favorite, and they were lucky to squeak out a 16-14 win...Lots of talent, especially on defense, but still a lot of work to do...Next week the Irish are at Stanford to take on this super-hyped Andrew Luck guy...I hope the defense brings all they got, and put that kid on his ass all night long!

-Now, before I get into the rest of Saturday, and Sunday...I want to rewind to Thursday night and that Jesus Tebow guy...Oh, I mean Tim Tebow...

But yes, the super, in your face religious, fullback...I mean Quarterback of the Denver Broncos has a mess of disciples who really think he is the "Second Coming"...So much so that some of these fuck-tards have started taking his #15 jersey and having "JESUS" put on the back...

Now, if you know me, you know I'm not the most religious person out there...All my years of Catholic education left me asking more questions then what they answered...That said...I'm I the only one who thinks putting "JESUS" on a Tebow jersey is kind of a slap in the face to the Holy Father, his Son, and the Holy Spirit? I just gotta think, that Jesus could actually complete at least 70% of his passes...I mean Robert Griffin III has a 72.9 completion percentage...Surely the son of God could do that...So while I' get that you love the shit out of Tebow, and can't stop swinging from his nuts, have a bit of respect his and your religious beliefs...If you did, you would be wearing a #15 "JESUS" jersey asshole!

And how do Rex Ryan and his staff still have jobs after letting Tebow beat them...Everyone watching knew dude was gonna run, and can barely throw...Why didn't you defensive genius?

-Oh, and did I mention Robert Griffin III...If you go back to my HEISMAN PREVIEW, I recall saying how this kid is my favorite...

Some how he got stuck with that "Running QB" label...Well all he's done this year is complete 245 of 336 passes, for 3.572 yards...33 TD's with only 5 interceptions...Oh, and he's rushed for over 500 yards...He plays at Baylor, so he isn't getting the love he deserves, but I'd gladly take him on my team any day...Especially after he took out Oklahoma Saturday night....

With 51 seconds left, Griffin drove the ears 80 yards in 5 plays...He had two scrambles, one for 22 yards and the other for 8 yards...Then he found Terrance Williams in the end zone with a 34 yard strike, beating Oklahoma 45-38...

Thanks to Griffin and company, and USC beating Oregon, the SEC is thumbing it's collective noses at everyone, as they now have the #1, #2, and #3 teams in the country, totally fucking up the BCS!

And then after the game, ESPN's top slut with a microphone, had to make sure that she wasn't losing all the attention, so she had one of her crew dump Gatorade on her (that's not proven, just what suspect)...Oh, look at my nice wet tits....

But the best video of the weekend has to be Lee Corso's "Ahh Fuck it!"

I swear to God if ESPN fires Corso, or even suspends him, I will write blogs daily about all the other F-bombs, and stupid shit that has slipped by on their networks...It was a great, excited, honest moment, and people have to except it that people say fuck sometimes...Even on TV...Relax...It was great TV, especially Herbstreit trying to roll his chair off camera, while Fowler holds his head in his hands...All the while, the Houston coach is loving it!

-And Sunday, there was the Browns...Squeaking out a ugly 14-10 victory over Jacksonville...

Yes, another ugly Browns game, but they pulled out the win...Colt McCoy and the passing game looked pretty good, and a big reason why, was 4th string running back Chris Ogbonnaya actually rushed for 115 yards...The Browns first 100 yard rusher in 12 games...Amazing how the run can open up the pass huh coach Shurmur...I don't give a shit what he says, coach listens to talk radio and reads blogs, because the offense finally did some things we've been bitching about not seeing...That said, the Defense carried them again, and the Offense has a lot of work to do!

Okay, so maybe we'll start with the dummies...In my Monday Moaning post I took a break from the Penn State scandal...I kinda hit a wall of writer's block, and put up one of my weakest posts in a very long time...

So, back to the dummies...Like these two assholes who decided to stop in front of Joe Paterno's house before Saturday's game, and genuflected...Seriously, what is wrong wit these people...Old dude got fired because he along with many others knew Sandusky was a fucking creep, and did nothing about it...I get fan and school loyalty, but this shit is retarded....

And why is crap like this going on? Because the University let Paterno, the man, become bigger then the school...Penn State didn't become the "Brand"...Paterno became the "brand" and PSU sold that...And these people ate it up...An now every day people stop at the Paterno house, like it's a shrine...Keep kneeling at the alter of a cover up dolts, your showing your true idiotic colors...Stand with the child rapist, and his cronies that hid his secret...Can't wait to see how far that gets you...

And for the dummies pissed off that the Big-Ten has decided to remove Paterno's name from their conference trophy, FUCK YOU!

Paterno should have never been the name-sake for the trophy...You people don't know shit...Penn State didn't even join the Big-Ten until 1990...So after Nebraska, they have spent the shortest amount of time in the conference...Jesus the conference was formed in 1896, I think there are plenty of people you could name the trophy after!

And now to Sandusky...This fucking scum-bag decided to do an interview tonight with Bob Costas...While he said he was innocent, he sure as hell sounded guilty...It's hard to not sound guilty when you admit to showering with 10 year old boys...And when Bob asked him if he was attracted to young boys...Holy shit he took a little to long answering that one...Saying "I enjoy being with kids," and then stammering into saying he isn't attracted to them...

Dud just sounds like a creep...And then his lawyer was there proclaiming his innocence...This guy looks like a real WINNER...So when you need a lawyer to get you off on child rape and molestation charges, call the fucking guy that knocked up a 17 year old back in 1996! What the fuck is going on in Pennsylvania!?!

Then it came out that the judge that let Sandusky free on $100,000 bail without house arrest, or an ankle bracelet, was also a volunteer at The Second Mile charity organization where Sandusky hand picked his victims...Again, Pennsylvania what the fuck is going on? It seems at every turn, people in positions of power/authority keep protecting, making life easier for the child rapist...

The past week I have been all over the Penn State mess...A serious topic, that I take very personally...When I sat down to write this Monday's post I didn't really want to get into that...But I'm sitting here unsure of what to write about...

I was work during the first half of the Browns game...On my way home, I noticed my one neighbor who is always got a group of people watching the game in his pimped out garage, and grilling away, wasn't open for business today...Maybe more and more people are feeling like me...Why waste our time on this garbage team...Instead of watching the second half, the Little Beeze and I went outside and tossed the football around...

Later in the evening on the phone with my brother, I found out the Browns lost in another new, and fucking retarded way...Yep, Mike Polk was right last week...

I saw the Ravens lost to the Seahawks...What a fucking Jekyll and Hyde team that is...Holy Shit, the Browns even beat the Seahawks!

The Fighting Irish rolled Maryland Saturday night...I was glad to see that, but I expected it...The Terps suck...Andrew Luck may have blown his Heisman chances, as he and his Stanford teammates got taken to school by Oregon...Every one's favorite team to hate, Boise State lost to TCU...Second year in a row that Kellen Moore and crew had their hopes dashed because their kicker choked on a big fat one...

The UFC was on FOX Saturday night...And well, they blew it...30 minutes of hype instead of an under card or two...Then the main event...1 minute and change later, it was over...Not the best way to sell the product to people who don't know it well...

Since Sunday night, I have been beating on the story at Penn State...As much as I rant and rave, there is nothing that will set me off like stories of children being abused...So when the story of former Penn State assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky being a child rapist broke, I flipped...

Then it became clear that the University, Joe Paterno, the President, the Athletic Director, and assistant Mike McQueary didn't do nearly enough to stop and prevent this from happening...Then it started looking like a cover-up...Let alone, it seems like they were all enablers for Sandusky...

Then I read about Ray_Gricar...This guy was a DA investigating 1998 allegations against Sandusky...He didn't have enough at the time, but suddenly in 2005 he ends up missing...His laptop found in a lake with the hard-drive ripped out...Why? Was he on to something? Yes this sounds like conspiracy theory shit, but let's be honest...It's Penn State football we're talking about...Clearly they are willing to cover things up...But why are they willing to cover up such an awful thing?

Then I read what Radio host Mark Madden WROTE 6 months ago...Which lead into what he said today...Then Madden let a rumor fly on a couple of radio shows Thursday...He said things are going to get worse before they get better...I would agree with that...Sandusky was out there free, doing as he wished to kids, for way too long...But Madden's rumor was even more shocking...

"I hear there's a rumor that there will be a more shocking development from the Second Mile Foundation -- and hold on to your stomachs, boys, this is gross, I will use the only language I can -- that Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors. That was being investigated by two prominent columnists even as I speak."

Madden also thinks that, "The other thing I think that may eventually become uncovered, and I talked about this in my original article back in April, is that I think they'll find out that Jerry Sandusky was told that he had to retire in exchange for a cover-up."

Considering the whole Sandusky/child molestation story started as rumor, Madden doesn't sound too far off...

But even if he is wrong...And even if the missing DA thing is an odd coincidence, there was still a major cover up at Penn State...People in charge knew Sandusky was a creep...They had an eyewitness account of him raping a 10 year old boy in the showers...All they did was tell him 'no more kids here.' He still had access to the facilities...He still roamed freely...Preying on young boys, and ruining their lives...Whatever these bastards were hiding, besides Sandusky being an evil piece of shit, it will be discovered...This mess is far from over...

He talks about being a football fan, yet some how he thinks Penn State, the #12 team in the country with a 8-1 record, would fire Paterno for football reasons...And how does a football fan not know about this horrible story that has been swirling around Penn State? HOW ASSHOLE?

In case you missed my Monday post, I was pretty pissed off about what has gone on at Penn State...And now more has become clear...It is clear that Penn State officials covered up, and swept it under the wrong that former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky, was a child rapist...When allegations were presented to Paterno, he took to his bass, the Athletic Director...But he never followed up...

No matter what the job titles are, There is no one at Penn State that has more power and influence, then Joe Paterno...Hell he more then most elected officials in the state of Pennsylvania...He should have done more...And the school President must go too...After an allegation in 2002, he told Sandusky he wasn't allowed to bring kids to the University's facilities...Real tough stance, basically saying, just don't touch them here...

And then there was this classless few minutes at Paterno's home tonight...

Hey Penn State fans, you're fucking assholes! You are supporting a man who knew about a child rapist, and didn't do shit about it...Don't give me the crap that he told his boss...That's not enough...And Joe saying "Pray for those kids" and then segues with a "anyways" and then starts a "WE ARE...PENN STATE!" chant...Fuck you, you fucking, fuck!

Paterno and anyone who is on his staff, that was on the staff when Sandusky was there, needs to be fired, yesterday! And I called for the NCAA to hit Ohio State and Miami with "The Death Penalty"...Fuck that...They can have all the cars, strippers, tattoos, money, and cocaine they want...Just as long as Penn State is crushed with "the Death Penalty"...Burn their stadium and facilities to the ground...Burn the whole fucking campus down...

As I write this, there are students all over the campus chanting their support for Paterno...They are at near riot stage, because for some reason that old asshole is a god there...Listen fuck-tards...This isn't about football anymore...This is real life shit...Real lives have been ruined and your fucking standard-bearer let it happen...The first reported case of child abuse was in 1998...1998, and nothing has been done until now...And you dolts just want your coach on the sidelines Saturday...

There is no reason for a 58 year old man and a 10 year old boy to be in that situation...A possible sexual assault of a minor occurring inside Paterno’s locker room, by an assistant coach...And he did nothing! LeCharles Bentley Set Up Peyton Hillis

This has been a shit-storm swirling around Peyton Hillis all season...And things got worse this week...Much has been Hillis' fault, but this latest one falls on former Buckeye, former Saint, and Cleveland Brown for a day, until he blew up his knee in his first practice, and never made it back, LeCharles Bentley...

Bentley had set up an event with The Boys and Girls Club in Cleveland for Halloween...It was called "Halloween with Hillis"...And then the shit hit the fan, when Hillis didn't show up...Bentley said Hillis confirmed...But did he really?

Hillis' brother apparently handles stuff like this, and he admitted that he had confirmed an appearence with Bentley...But what he confirmed was Hillis would do Bentley's Podcast...Bentley never informed him that the podcast would be done at the Halloween event...The event Bentley was selling using Hillis' name...

Bentley went so far as to tweet this...

"Peyton Hillis looking for 10mil guaranteed from Browns and can't show up to kids charity event? #ManPlease"

Well maybe if Bentley wouldn't have been so shady about it...Maybe if he wasn't using Hillis' name without his knowledge or permission...Maybe he would have been there...And Bentley going silent about the topic, keeps him looking shady...

An Open Letter to Browns Fans

It's time...Time for me to sit you down, and tell you what needs to be said...I'm not the only one...There are a few guys on the new 92.3 "The Fan" that feel the same...But I don't know how many people are listening to the channel that use to be the best music station in Cleveland, and is now sports talk...Now we're left with Oldies, 80's, and ACDC and Pink Floyd being rammed down our throats...I've had enough of that...But this post isn't about Cleveland Radio...

This post is about the Browns, and Browns fans who are loyal, to a fault...I grew up a Browns fan...I lived through some tough times..."The Drive" is always talked about...But it was Earnest Byner having the ball stripped from him at the goal line that made me cry...My loyalty and devotion to the Browns left, when the team left for Baltimore...We always saw players that we loved on our teams leave for greener pastures and greener money...But the whole damn franchise leaving showed just how little loyalty in sports meant...A fan base that hadn't had a winner since before the "Super Bowl" existed, sold out it's 70,000 plus seat stadium every game...And they got screwed...My team left and went to Baltimore...

So Cleveland may have won the legal battle to keep the colors and the name, it's team was still gone...So I've never been able to fully embrace the new Browns...But many people did...No one shits on my town Cleveland, as much as me, but I'll say this...Clevelanders, for the most part are good people, and loyal...Way too loyal...And they're very hungry for a winner to cheer for...Since 1999 Browns fans have bought into multiple team philosophies...Multiple coaches, GM's, multiple presidents, and multiple QB's...

It's time to STOP!

Stop making Randy Lerner's life easy...This guy barely notices what is going on with his team...He's more focused on his Soccer team...Hell lives most of the year in New York...Yet, Browns fans never hold him accountable for how the franchise is run...Stop putting money in his pockets...It's time to stop spending money on a losing product...You wouldn't continue to dump money into any other product in your life, that gave nothing positive back to you...The Browns are a drain...They take your money, and give you heartache, pain, misery, and shitty football!

Stop making Mike Holmgren's job and life easy...It's time the Walrus has his feet put to the fire...People just want to believe that because he won "Super Bowls" as an assistant coach and one as a head coach, that he knows how to run a football franchise...When he went to Seattle front office, he drove it into the ground...His only good decision was hiring GM Tom Heckert...And Heckert had a lot of catching up to do, after many years of bad drafts and free agent moves...Luckily, he has an eye for talent on the defensive side of the ball...Stop wasting your money!

Coach Pat Shurmur clearly refuses to look at what he has talent wise, and fit his scheme to fit with the talent...Colt McCoy showed flashes of excellence last year, on a bad team...Shurmur's offense has him stifled...McCoy has regressed this year...And The O-Line has struggled all year...Some of that has to be scheme...They have refused to put McCoy in the shotgun, which would buy him an extra second before he has to run for his life...McCoy either can't throw a deep ball...Sooner or later that will catch up to you in the NFL...Just ask Tim Couch!

Last year this team was lead by a power running game, and play action passing...NONE OF THAT this year...The WR's can't get open...Some run bad routes...Some just don't have the speed, or ability to beat a DB...Too many drops has been a problem for years...I think Braylon Edwards spilled a bottle of dropsies all over Berea, and they still haven't washed it all away...

And don't forget about that 3 year stint when every time a player had an injury, he ended up hospitalized with a Staph Infection...Why are you still spending your money on this team? STOP!

Monday October 31, 2011...Coach Shurmur's Monday Press Conference...It was the first time a Monday Press Conference lasted less than 10 minutes...WHY? Because Shurmur, who Holmgren said he wants to be the voice of the organization, has been pissy with the media on the rare occasions when they ask him the tough questions...Or when they push for a real answer...He is always defensive...Listen, when dumb things are happening, and the play is awful, and the offense is moving backwards, the press and fans are going to have questions...But this dick comes in there acting like he is Bill Belichick with 5 rings...Dude you aren't shit! So Monday, the press quickly got sick of his act, and stopped asking questions...Dead air...

The Browns are alienating the media...The fans will be next...The whole organization is going backwards...Stop drinking what they are spilling!

Tell me, what have the Cleveland Browns done for you since 1999? Not Much right! So why do you keep doing for them? Monday Moaning...Happy Fucking Halloween

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Halloween...Although I do like that it has turned into more of a look like a slut day! I never liked it much as a kid, and even had a few of my younger years, where I just didn't go trick or treating...I tried to go along with the flow a few more times, but I just never bought into it...The begging for candy thing seemed dumb, especially since there was never any tricks...Other then some one smashing your pumpkins in the street hours later, there was no fucking tricks...It was bullshit...

But now I have kids, and of course they're into it, so I have to go with the flow...The flow being, setting up decorations, and carving pumpkins, and spending too much on costumes my kids will wear once...During all this, I start getting annoyed by it, and the pumpkin carving gets intense...I don't trust my kids with sharp shit, so I do the carving...We draw their ideas out and then I get to work...Little Beeze, artistic as hell loves to challenge me, and I dig back into my art major days and strive for perfection...This is where the wife gets annoyed with me! And baby Molly's pumpkin, well, I took a crack at carving her, all 6 teeth, big smile, wide eyes, and dimples...(I'll get picture uploaded tomorrow night)

I had to do something other than watch the Browns get smoked by the 49ers...WOW does that offense suck! It's like each wee they take another step backwards...I never thought I would want Eric Mangina's awful offense back!

-So I missed most of the NFL coverage, but I saw this, and I loved it...

All last week I heard dopes on ESPN talking about "Tebowing" The whole kneeling with the fist on the head...Well, it didn't take long for some one to stick right back to St. Tebow! The Lions Stephen Tulloch shoved it right in Tebow, and the world's faces...Some will bitch about it, but Tebow set himself up for it...If he's going to do it every time he makes a big play, he better expect it to get it back...This why I feel dopes like Tebow, no matter what their faith is, need to keep that shit at home...I don't drag my religion/church (The church of the Beeze) into the Fish House with me, and shove it people's faces...Knock it off St. Tebow, and learn how to throw!

-I worked a double Saturday, so I missed the Notre Dame game...I was glad to see they not only didn't struggle with Navy, but they rolled them...But it's too little too late...They needed to bring that shit against USC, Michigan, and USF...The Irish Hockey team took 2 games at Bowling Green this weekend...Sorry Frank!

-Did you see the end of the Wisconsin/Ohio State game...The Luckeyes let the Badgers back into the game later, and then gave up the lead...Then, I nearly choked on my Sullivan's Irish Red, and Turkey & rasher Melt, as Wisconsin gave up another Hail Mary touchdown...All the talent, hype, and love for Wisconsin, and these dopes get beat two weeks in a row, on a Hail Mary...Unreal!

-I just have one note on the World Series...Am I the only person bothered by the fact that MLB postponed game 6 for a possibility of rain...Rain that never really came...Which set up the Cardinals to have their "Ace" go in game 7 if they got there? It just seems fucking strange to me...

-So I wasn't around much last week...Lots of shit going on in Beezeland...And I was a single parent for a couple days while the Mrs. was in Philly for a funeral...I even had to break out the baby gates...Ms. Molly wasn't pleased...

So then she tried to charm her way into the kitchen...

How can you say no to that?

As for costumes...She's going as a bunny, but she's not hip on the ears...The oldest is going as a Witch...She says a good one, but she's been mouthy lately...9 going on 16...The Little Beeze is going as an Angry Bird...But the costume is big and bulky, so he's not going to wear it at school...For school he's going as a "Star Wars" classic...

All these years later, and Boba Fett is still the coolest, baddest, mother fucker in the galaxy...

Alright, before we get to my weekend, which wasn't the best...Let's recap last week...In case you missed my blogs through the week, well I guess I should have expected the weekend to go bad too...It started Tuesday with my rage for what happened in CHINA ...

Then I had my view on this PINK trend...Then I gave my State of the BROWNS address, a day before the walrus Mike Holmgren did...And then there was this whole shooting wild animals THING ...

Then there was the weekend...The Fighting Irish Hockey team opened the new Compton Family Ice Arena...

There's Lefty Smith dropping the first puck...The Irish opened their new home in style, beating RPI 5-2, lead by sophomore Anders Lee's hat-trick! The arena is a beautiful, top-notch facility, that is just going to improve Notre Dame's recruiting ability...The Irish Hockey program has been on the rise for the last 5 years, and this will take them to the next level, which is good since they'll be joining the Hockey_East Conference in the 2013 season...

But that wasn't all going at the Notre Dame campus...The place was all fired up...It was USC week, with a big, prime-time game Saturday night...Here's a bad video of the Midnight Drum Circle...It's amazing how much energy a campus can have before a big game...

That night, I found out my wife's uncle passed away, so that brought the mood down to the dumper...

Saturday afternoon 2U was playing before the game...The best U2 tribute band around! Again, the energy was amazing...

Then the game started...Now, Notre Dame had two weeks to get ready for this...And over the last week, most of what I read about was stupid shit...Like how the helmets were painted extra gold, to look more like the Golden Dome itself...

And how Coach Kelly wanted the crowd to be pumped, and keep the team pumped...They were going to hand out towels to wave, and blast music...Yeah, it's the students fault your team is obsessed with turning the ball over! (sense my mood swing yet)

Hey Coach, blasting "Crazy Train" every single, fucking, third down play, isn't going to help your defense get the stop...Clearly, since every time I heard "Crazy Train" USC would convert for a first down...As a matter of fact, it was fucking annoying!

The Irish lost 31-17, but it wasn't even that close...Freshman George Atkinson's kickoff return for a TD was the Notre Dame highlight...It was what we all hoped would spark the team, but USC would have none of it...Their O-Line over-powered the Irish front seven, all night...And then there were the turnover, again...The 80 yard fumble return for a TD was the kill shot...It was just ugly...All that energy, and excitement, just shot to hell...

Luckily, I got to watch the exciting ending of the Michigan State/Wisconsin game...Nothing like a game ending Hail Mary...

WOW!

Sunday, I watched the Browns win an epic battle with the Seahawks, 6-3...This may have been one of the ugliest games ever...People say, "A win is a win"...This didn't feel like a win...Luckily, I was distracted taking care of the Little Beeze and the baby on my own...She's got a bug, and the highlight was when she crapping her brains out, she started coughing, choked on the phlegm, and puke her guts out all over...Baby shit, and puke everywhere...

Why was I flying solo...The Mrs. took our oldest to the Train Concert in Erie, PA...I'll take baby puke and shit any day over Train and their 3rd grader rhyme schemes!

I'm Sick of All This Pink In My Sports

I'm pretty sure this post won't be popular, but hey, when have I cared about that? Let me make it clear before I get into this...I AM NOT PRO-BREAST CANCER! I love breasts too damn much for that! I'm not Pro-Cancer in any form...That would just be stupid...Okay...

Now, remember the good old days when you could watch hockey, and a goalie wearing blue and orange wasn't wearing pink pads...First of all, from fashion view point, it looks awful! Second, I'm kinda tired of the "Look at Me, I care factor."

Just like all those fucking "Livestrong" rubber bracelets..."Look at me, I spent 4 dollars on a rubber band, and 1 dollar goes to cancer research." You're such a hero! Those stupid things have become a fashionable thing, to make people feel good about themselves...Such a fad, that people have been selling them on ebay at a large mark-up, and of course, not giving any to cancer research...

And for the last few years, every October is filled with pink, for Breast Cancer Awareness...From high school to the NFL, players have pink gloves, pink towels, pink tape on their ankles, pink everything...

The Cleveland Browns Stink Like Shit!

Monday I spoke of my disgust with the Browns, but I blew past it...So lets get into what has been happening...

Pat Shurmur was brought in as the new head coach...Another dope who has never been a head coach...Great! Oh, and he decided to not hire an Offensive Coordinator...He's doing that too...He under the watchful eye of Mike, "the fat walrus" Holmgren, is implementing "The West Coast Offense"...But for some reason their version doesn't believe in running the ball...Umm I remember the 49ers running the ball well and often back in the day...Same with Gruden's Tampa Bay Buccaneers...So why aren't the Browns running?

Now they have Madden cover-boy Peyton Hillis...He rushed for over 1,000 yards last year...He was also the teams second leading receiver, with over 60 receptions...Yet Hillis is hardly on the field lately...WHY? So many reasons...The Browns publicly opened contract talks with Hillis...The fans were behind Hillis getting big money...They love this guy...Then he got strep...Or did he? The story has changed a few times...The team said they "sent him home, he was too sick to play."...Then he said his agent told him not to play...Hillis and his agent took to every radio show that would have them...

Then the next two games, Hillis hardly saw the field...Instead they had stone-hand Hardesty out there...(6 dropped passes in 2 games)...Shurmur keeps saying Hillis is their guy, but he's never out there...Then he had a hamstring injury...But Shurmur said he didn't know about it...Shurmur often seems confused in his press conferences...So now what?

Fans aren't behind Hillis much anymore...Many were hoping the Browns would trade him Tuesday...But they aren't behind Shurmur either...He's in over his head, and the fans are getting restless...

Evan Moore was said to be the team's pre-season MVP...He's without a doubt, the best pass catcher on the team...But he, like Hillis is not getting on the field enough...They say he doesn't block well...So he is only out there foe pass plays...Way to tip your hand dummies!

Brian Robiskie was one of the two starting WR's this season...WHY? He is awful...Through the first 4 games he no catches, and 2 targets...He' can't get away from coverage...He sucks...He sucks! Mo Mass (I'm not trying to spell his whole name) isn't that good either, but he has potential, if healthy...Greg Little has tons of potential, but was suspended last year, and of course the lack of an off season hurt all rookies...

The O-line is shit...Clearly with injuries, they have shown they have no depth...And Joe Thomas is grossly overrated...Just ask,Colt McCoy's back side...Thomas has been getting beaten like Michael Vick's dogs all year long...

And McCoy...Well, he hasn't impressed...But that's hard to do when running for your life, or laying on your back...And when your team doesn't run the ball, and your WR's can't get open...McCoy hasn't throw a pass longer than 20 yards, which is killing people...Just one or two long balls a game would be nice...And when the coach calls a play with an empty backfield, why doesn't he have McCoy in the shotgun, just to give him an extra second from the pass rush?

Then there is fan favorite, and team leader, Josh Cribbs...Cribbs came out this week, and basically said, since the offense isn't using him, he wants to get back on special teams...He wasn't just talking about returns, he wants to get back to covering kicks...Cribbs pointed out the team hadn't given up a kickoff return for a touch down when he covered kicks...But when he wasn't Sunday, the Browns gave one up...

The defense has played well, but they have been gashed for some big yards on the ground...Again, injuries are popping up, and showing off the lack of depth...That said, I do like how GM, Tom Heckert has worked the draft...Trying to build up the defense...

As I said, Shurmur seems in over his head, and confused in front of the press...The walrus Holmgren has avoided the local press, but some how, that fat bastard thought it would be cool to talk about the Browns on a Seattle Radio show...

Fucking asshole! Way to make time for your pals in Seattle...

I just want to make this clear...So many people in Cleveland have a in Holmgren we trust attitude...I never understood why...He won one "Super Bowl" as a head coach, and 2 as an assistant coach...He never has in his roles in the front office...As a matter of fact, Seattle got worse when he moved to the front office...

Wake up Cleveland! Fatty isn't going to save this team...He hired another in a long line of shitty coaches...And they have pinned their QB hopes on a short guy who can't throw a deep bowl, and will be physically, and possibly mentally broken in two years...

That is 2 year old Yue Yue...While she is being kept alive, it is rumored that she is brain dead...That's what happens when a 2 year old is run over by two vans, and 18 people pass by, and do nothing to help her...18 people, and most looked at her,and kept going...18 people...

I saw a video linked via Twitter...I watched it in horror...Then I thought, it can't be real...So I started searching the story...It was real... HERE is just one of many I saw...

Ii watched the video again...I felt emotions I never felt before...It made me physically sick...Angry...Sad...They don't fully describe the emotions I felt...Before I had kids it would have pissed me off...But now, having kids, it took pissed off to a whole new place...

If you don't want to watch I totally understand...With how I felt, it is without a doubt one of the worst things I've ever seen...

It already pisses me off that our government has put us into a never-ending debt with China...The U.S. is broke...But China, is Morally Bankrupt...It may have only been 18 people that left Yue Yue to die, but that is the mindset in China...So yes, I put it on the whole damn place...FUCK CHINA!

And for those 2 drivers, and 18 people who could care less if a 2 year old girl is dying in the street...Those fuck-stains can't die fast enough...When they die, the world will be a much better place.

Monday Moaning

Here we are again...Monday comes so quickly, and there are often a ton of things in the sports world to write about...This week, I will touch on a couple of things in sports but then I'm moving on...This blog is going to be focused on my Friday night...But first...

Everyone knows, I'm no Auto Racing fan, but when I heard that Dan Wheldon died Sunday in a horrible 15 car accident...Wheldon is one of the names I know...I remember hearing about him beating Danica Patrick, but everyone does that...

But seriously, these guys live on the edge, and this is an awful way to go...

May his family have the strength to get through this...33 is too young to die...

-Next, the Cleveland Browns suck...Once again, their best player, Peyton Hillis wasn't on the field enough, and didn't get the touches...The guy ran for over 1,000 yards last year, and he was the second leading receiver...Yet there he is on the sidelines...Fuck Shurmur and his shitty offense...Fuck the Walrus Holmgren, and his overrated management skills...And fuck the Browns...I'm tired of you twats wasting my time!

-Speaking of twats...Let's get to Friday night...Here in my little off-shoot of Cleveland, Friday night was the big Homecoming Game...My daughter and all the youth cheerleaders were invited to march in the pre-game parade, and then cheer during the first half, with the high school cheerleaders...

A few weeks ago, the high school announced they would have a cheer camp for $20 dollars, open to all grade school girls, and that they would cheer with the cheerleaders in the 4th quarter...The youth cheerleaders were threatened that if they didn't go, they wouldn't be allowed to cheer at the game...Us parents raised hell about this...We had put in at least $150 and our girls had put in all the hours of practice, and we weren't going to be blackmailed into this...They agreed...Or so we thought...

So after the parade, we are at the game...All these kids are out there with the high school cheerleaders, except our cheerleaders...They are sitting on the track watching...So I of course, am getting pissed...I wasn't alone...So myself and a few other parents go down and ask the woman who is semi-in charge, "why aren't our girls out there?" She responded, "I know, I'm pissed to." Her daughter being a cheerleader as well...She then threw the woman who actually started the program, under the bus...This has happened countless times this year...

She started the program a few years ago, out of her own pocket...Just as one guy started the youth football program out of his own pocket...I totally appreciate that...But this Shrek looking woman is one of those people who has to be involved in everything, and she loves to be in charge...But it's too much...She's got a million things going, and shits the bed repeatedly...Like the candy we had to sell, to raise money for jackets...The candy that sat in the back of a car, on a 90 degree day, all day...Nothing like selling Reese Cups that you can play Name That State with!

Back to Friday...So we're pissed...The girls are upset, but they're okay, because they know they get the 2nd quarter to themselves...But us parents weren't pleased...Some other Gash (one of the team moms) stepped in...She basically had taken control of this event...I asked why are kids who's parents have put up at least $150 and their kids had put in the year of practices, being trumped by ids who's parents put up $20 and the kids put in a few hours of practice...She said our kids "should have gone to the camp"...So clearly, when we were told they didn't have to go, we were lied to...(I have no problem with those kids, and their folks, just the twats that screwed over our girls)

A mother, said "this is Bullshit" and the Gash told her to take her kid and leave...So another mom stepped into Gash's face had let her have it...Gash said, "The girls seem okay, none f them have said anything to me about being upset."....So I replied, "Why the fuck would they say anything to you...No one knows who the fuck you are!"

Look out...Gash freaks that I dropped an F-bomb, and starts yelling for the Cop to escort me out...Luckily, one of the girls on my daughter's team father is a cop, and he was standing next to the cop on duty, and they laughed at her...She told me to "talk like an adult," And I said "I won't talk to you like you're bitch, when you stop acting like a bitch!"

Then during the second quarter, as our girls were cheering, I stayed down there on the track, just to piss her off, one of the girls took a drink of water...The Gash told her no drink breaks...I was ready to snap, but her mother made everybody look like pussies...She got up in Gash's face, and said, "You tried to kick him out of here for saying fuck? Cunt you tell my kid she can't have a drink, I'm gonna start punching in your face!" Gash was saved by other parents, while me and our teams moms laughed...

When my daughter said she wanted to do cheer leading, I thought of all the cheer leading stereotypes, and said to my wife, "She's too smart, and too nice to be a cheerleader." I had no idea that I would run into this crap...A program run so half-assed, with idiot parents...I never thought that I'd be going off at bitches like this...I also never expected to go home and have my daughter all fired up to tell my wife what happened...She ended the story with, "If I see her again, I'm gonna get in her face!" That's my girl!

Before we left the stadium Friday night, our team getting smoked again, 43-13, I volunteered to run the Cheer leading Program next year..."I can't do any worse," I said...I doubt they'll let me...Thank God!

I'm Not Much of a Chicago Fan Anymore...

I know this blog may be late since the release of "Catching Hell" but I wanted to give it a couple viewings...I have to say, Fuck Chicago!

I grew up a Cubs fan...I'd get home from school and watch Cubs games with my dad...Ryne Sandberg became my favorite player...I loved watching him and Shawon Dunston, Jody Davis, Andrea Dawson, Mark Grace, and a revolving door of crappy third basemen...I realized early on they weren't going to win it all, and some how I bought into the lovable loser crap...Rooting for a losing team comes easy when you grow up in Cleveland I guess...

I grew out of my love of the Cubs, but I always kept up on them...They were my National League team...I remember watching the game, when the infamous Bartman Play happened...I remember Alou losing his shit...But I also remember the team completely falling apart afterwards...I never blamed the dope in the stands...He did what any of us would have done...And when the Cubs lost that game, moved onto the mindset that they'd have to do it in game seven...

Of course they didn't, and as the movie showed, the whole fucking world blamed a fan, Steve Bartman for the Cubs falling apart...Not the shortstop Alex Gonzalez who booted an easy double play ball...Not Dusty Baker for leaving Mark Prior in too long...Not the bullpen who got shelled...Just some fan, who did the same thing as every other fucking fan around him, except the stupid ball hit him...

As I watched this, all I could do was feel awful for this poor bastard...The people at that game, and well a large number of people in the Chicago area acted like complete assholes...As much as I liked Chicago the few times I was there, and as much as I loved the Cubs in my youth, seeing "Catching Hell" makes me think Chicago is on the same level as Philly...And by now, you know how much I hate those fuckers in Philly!

Oh, and Cubs fans, you can't blame Bartman for how the stupid organization ruined Kerry Wood and Mark Prior's arms...And you dumb fucks shouldn't have blamed Bartman for the Cubs being a bunch weak-ass twats.

So, here we are again...Another Monday, and what do I have to talk about...Thursday night I had a bunch of stuff in my head, and posted my SCATTERBRAINED thoughts...This post may be like that...

This weekend could be the known as the weekend of chokes...Yeah, some one tell A-Roid you can't swing the bat with your hands around your throat...What an overpaid! twat...But don't just blame him Yankee fan...Big Fat, Fatty Fat, CC Sabathia lived up to his rep, and not his contract as well...He's another playoff choke artist....And holy shit, how many subs is that bastard choking down...You can't pitch well when your dreaming about cheesecake!

Fuck it was great seeing those ass-hats fall on their faces...I could hit better with runners on base then the Yankees did...But it didn't end there...The Phillies and their power-house pitching staff fell to the shitty Cardinals...I couldn't believe it...But I wasn't sad!

-But the choke job that really made me smile...Oh, shit, I won't lie...I got hard! Saturday night, Ohio State is leading Nebraska 27-6 in the third quarter...Then, the Huskers rallied back and beat the Suckeyes 34-27...Within seconds of the game ending, the Fire Fickell tweets started firing off...Sunday morning, there were plenty of BLOGS out there, making the excuses why Ohio State lost again...About why they're so bad...Putting blame on suspended players...Ummm the defensive players who were suspended were back! It was the defense the collapsed in the 4th quarter...

And lets stop acting like losing Terrelle Pryor was that bad of a thing...Dude was over-hyped, with a bad throwing motion, who made bad reads and couldn't take his eyes off his primary target...Kid sucked! And lets not act like Braxton Miller getting hurt in the 3rd quarter is the whole reason your team lost...He ain't shit either!

Fucking funny how all these Ohio State people were all behind Tressel's boy Fickell, and now they're all getting in line to suck Urban Meyer's cock...You Gashes are un-fucking-real!

-Oh, and since I'm on the topic of Ohio State...I watch a couple high school football games a week...At least one on TV and then I checkout my local team...Our team blows...The coach is a dope, they're undersized...Our band out numbers the football team...We dress 30 kids...But at least we have our own fucking Fight Song! All but one team we have played this year just play the stupid Ohio State Fight Song as their own...What a bunch of unoriginal fucks!

- The Red River Shootout...Here's another obnoxiously over-hyped fucking game...Hey Texas, how's Oklahoma's dick taste? They say everything is bigger in Texas...I guess that includes the margin you lose to Oklahoma by too...55-17...Thank God my daughter was cheer leading at a 9-10 year old football game...Those poor kids lost 22-0, but showed more ball bag than the Longhorns did...

-Luckily that was over in time for me to watch Notre Dame not choke...The Irish rolled Air Force 59-33...And honestly, it wasn't even that close...I was glad ND won, I had been worried about this game...The Service Academies always come to play, and in the past the Irish have struggled with defending the option...The Irish are off next week, before a big Prime time game against USC...I'll be there, and I can't wait!

-The Browns were on a Bye Sunday, so that was one less headache in my life...I watched the Bills vs. the Eagles...Holy shit, are the Bills that solid, or are the Eagles that fucking bad...Either way, it's making people in Philly miserable that their high-priced team is 1-4, so I'm happy...

Then I watched the Patriots beat the Jets...Always fun...Especially since the Jets have been put in their place, and they are looking up at both the Pats and the Bills...

-The Big NFL news this weekend was the passing of Al Davis...No word if it had anything to do with choking...While death is sad for friends and family, I can't feel bad about this one...Guy put in 82 years...That's a lot of time...And while he did a great many things for the progress of Football, I wasn't around for that...I was around for the part where he was a pain in the ass...Where he was obnoxious, making horrible draft picks, and giving stupid contracts, and where he was firing coaches every hour on the hour...In my eyes, he did what Brett Favre did...He was respected, and loved, and then tarnished all that by being a douchebag over the last 10 years...

Now I'll end with this rant...I caught wind of it, and posted it on facebook...It's spreading like wildfire, and it should...I wish I had a rant this epic in me...

Okay, so I have a few things running around in my head...First, let's get into this stupid fucker Brett Favre...The other day he decided to go on the radio and give Aaron Rogers a back-handed compliment...Saying that the last Packers team he was a part of, was "The Best team I had ever been on"...So he was "Surprised he (Rogers) didn't win a Super Bowl sooner." A couple things Favre neglected was, that a number of those guys were gone once Rogers took over...And then LeRoy Butler pointed out on ESPN NFL 32, that Favre had said his Vikings team was "The best team he had ever been on."

Oh silly Brett...You just miss having your name in the news...Butler made it clear that he thought Rogers is a better QB...Butler went on to trash Favre, pointing out how he never helped, reached out to, or worked with Rogers...He also said, "He (Favre) is right, Aaron got to sit and watch, and learn from Brett...Learn what not to do!" The only thing Butler left out, was calling Favre a fucking small-dicked, douchebag, fucking asshole...It's clear Brett was not a favorite in the locker room...

Please Favre, just go away and stay away...

-Now, To the hot button topic here in the Cleve...Peyton Hillis...So the Browns had been working on renegotiating his contract...I had no idea why it was taking so long...He's the best player on the team, fucking pay him...Well it turns out his agent ticked off the bosses...So they redid 3 other players deals...TE Evan Moore, who they don't use enough...Average LB Chris Gocong...And DL Ahtyba Rubin...I have no problem with these guys, but Hillis carried the offense last year, and honestly, with the lack of receiving weapons, Hillis should be carrying the offense again...But they haven't given him the touches...

Then Hillis had Strep Throat...He missed the Miami game because of it...Now, Strep can be bad...Especially if you're rocking the high fever that comes with it at times...But Then we found out Center, Alex Mack played Sunday while sick...How sick? He had his appendix removed Monday...Pretty fucking sick I guess!

So the rumors have swirled that Hillis was faking and was trying to take some kind of half-assed contract stance when he sat out with Strep...Hillis doesn't seem like that type of guy, but the rumors kept swirling...SO his idiot agent went on the radio, and said he told a very sick Hillis to not play...WTF!

All of this proves one thing...You shouldn't renegotiate contracts during the season...The shit becomes a distraction...Now everyone is wondering is Hillis not getting the touches he should, because of the contract talks...Everyone is wondering if Hillis was dogging it...Some think the Browns will trade Hillis...It's fucking nuts...

The Browns need to realize that if they lose Hillis or trade him, the majority of fans will go bat-shit, fucking crazy...They finally have a player they identify with...A player that gave them hope and patience for the future...The front office can't blow this...Hillis' agent needs to realize, he should shut his mouth, and he also shouldn't be trying to get Adrian Peterson money...His guy only had 1 big year...Hillis, needs to play Football, and make the most of his touches...Erase any doubt anyone had about him...

-Next, TCU hasn't even played a game in the Big East, and they have already told the conference to eat a dick...They have excepted an offer they should have gotten a couple year ago...They are heading to the "Big 12"...Yes, the Big 12 wants to save themselves and finally gave TCU some love...If they weres smart, they'd reach out to Boise State next...

And the Big Least, well they are disappearing...They will have 6 teams left...If they don't act fast, they will lose their automatic BCS bowl bids...But who are they going to get? Rip teams from the MAC of Conference USA...So then they'll just be an even more watered down conference...Best move...Close up shop...USF, UConn, Rutgers, Louisville, Cincinnati, and West Virginia, find yourselves a new home, with one of the big guns...Lets get this 4 "Super Conference" thing done!

-The Chicago White Sox named Robin Ventura their new manager...Good luck, but you know what...Ventura could win 3 World Series as the White Sox manager, but I'll remember him best for getting his ass kicked by old man Nolan Ryan!

Yep, it was Birthday Weekend here at the Beeze Household...Friday was mine, and then Sunday was the Little Beeze's Birthday Bash...You can read all about Friday's events, RIGHT_HERE...Then Saturday, Mrs. Beeze took me out for an amazing DINNER!

Then Sunday came along...For the second year, we had the Little Beeze's party at PUMP_IT_UP...The kids love the place, and it means I don't have to have all these people at my house...That would mean cleaning before, and after the party, and making food...Plus this year, we paid extra for them to do the goodie bags...They did better than I would have...If you compare time and money, we would have spent just as much having it at our house...Plus there's a time limit, so it pushes those unwanted, straggler relatives out the door for you!

-Romo slipped back to his old ways of fucking up, oh and the Lions did their come from behind thing again, to stay undefeated...AWESOME!

-The Steelers look like shit! Love that!

-Let's rewind to Saturday's games...My boy Robert Griffin from Baylor continued to put up huge numbers, but his mates on defense couldn't hold Kansas State offense, and the Baylor Bears took a loss...Ohio State looked like dog shit against Michigan State, in a thrilling 10-7 loss...

But I was geared up fro the prime-time games...ND at Purdue...The Irish just took them apart...Tommy Rees had his first turnover free game, but you have to chalk some of that up to the fact that Purdue sucks...It actually could have been worse for the Boilermakers, but Rees continued to struggle in the red zone...

Wisconsin welcomed Nebraska to The Big Ten, by giving them a pink sock, live on ABC! And on CBS, Alabama reminded Florida that this year the SEC is all about Alabama vs. LSU...All the prime-time games ended up being a letdown...Blowouts get boring...

-Looking for some Baseball coverage...Sorry, no such luck...I have lost all interest...

-The NHL gets started up Thursday, and even though I love Hockey, the season, just like Baseball, is too long...They start too soon, and they end too late...

That folks, is what I had for dinner Saturday Night! That is the Long Bone Veal Chop, Pounded, Breaded & Baked...Topped with Tomato Coulis, Arugula and Balsamic Vinaigrette...And it was amazing...

The wife had decided to take me out for a nice dinner for my birthday...Read my PREVIOUS_POST for the Birthday recap...She told me to pick, so I decided on JOHNNY'S_BAR...It's kinda stupid to call the place a bar...Bars don't usually put out this type of food...I've always just called it Johnny's on Fulton...One of the few gems you'll find on Fulton road in Cleveland...

To start, I went simple, getting the Mozzarella Marinara...Don't be fulled...This isn't some bullshit Mozz sticks like TGI Fridays...this is quality Mozzarella, with Cleveland's best Marinara sauce...The Mrs. is real picky when it comes to red sauce...Johnny's is so good, we bought to jars to go!

She started with the Bacon wrapped scallops...How can you go wrong there...Well, she actually was a little disappointed...The scallops were small, and each was totally encased in bacon...She felt the bacon over-powered the flavor of the scallops...

Then we had house salads...Fine...Salads, nothing special...I was drinking Great Lakes Brewing Company's Oktoberfest...(yes, that's how they spell it)...She was drinking a Riesling...I don't know shit about wine, except to keep pouring it down her throat!

Then she had one of the specials...A 14ounce strip steak, thinly sliced, served medium-rare, topped with sweet onions, and mushrooms, in a demi glace...With aged cheddar and pancetta mashers...The steak was so moist, and tender...It melted in your moth...She thought they could ease up on the sauce, but she loved it...

As I said, I had the Long Bone Veal...Talk a about flavorful...Sorry folks, but baby cow tastes great...And it was so tender, I was cutting it with my fork...The tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic worked so well with the veal and the breading...It's a can't miss dish, only made better being served over top of Johnny's house specialty, au gratin potatoes...

For desert, The Mrs. has the Raspberry Cheesecake...Holy huge slice! I had the Bananas Foster...Rum, Bananas, and Ice Cream...Hard to screw up, and they didn't...We finished the evening there with coffee...Nice, bold, brew...

Now, this all sounds great, and it was...But it was an expensive evening...Drinks, all four course, coffee, two jars of sauce, and tip got us for over two hundred bucks...Considering how little we go out, and how good it was...I'm okay with the price...

Then we headed home...My goal, get the kids to bed...Watch Notre Dame beat the hell out of Purdue, and squeeze in some halftime sex! Birthday weekend rules!

Another Year Goes By

Well, today was my birthday, and once again, I didn't get a Gibson Trini-Lopez...Mrs. Beeze just isn't willing to drop $3,000 on a hobby for me...Oh well!

But seriously, birthdays don't mean a whole lot to me at this point...Birthdays are for kids...Although I did enjoy all the birthday wishes I got on Facebook...It's nice that people take those few seconds to say Happy Birthday and wish you well...It makes me feel like I'm not a total asshole...Guess I have more work to do!

So, what did I do for my birthday...Got up with the kids, got them off to school...Came home, had a cup of coffee, and played with the baby...

Then she had breakfast, we worked on her walking, then she had a bottle, and we took a 2 hour nap! How smart is she, knowing just the right thing to give daddy!

After that we ran some errands, and had lunch...At that point it started pouring rain out, so we headed to get in the pickup line at school...Got the two monsters, went home...The oldest watched the baby while I washed the dishes, and made dinner...MEATLOAF & mashed potatoes!

The wife came home, and gave me my presents...A Lids gift card...YES! and a HD Flip...Look out, we may have some little Beeze videos popping up soon!

After dinner we were talking about what to do...My oldest wanted to go to the High School Football game...No thank you, not in this non-stop-fucking rain! Little Beeze being slick, brought up the a couple years ago, when I took them to Build-a-Bear on my birthday...(his is two days after mine so he likes to milk it)...So I guess my birthday is theirs...We all got in the car, and went to the mall...He got 3 small Angry Birds...(1 bird, 2 pigs)...The girl made a bunny, and got a dress for it...And I made the baby a puppy...Yeah, they own me!

I hit Lids, got two new pieces of head gear...And then I got a Coffee...The wife got some Godiva Chocolate covered strawberries...We went home, and then started the grind that is getting the kids to bed...Then the gift giving started...I got a piece, and then I got quiet!

This Weekend we'll be seeing football players rockin' pink for Breast Cancer Awareness...So I thought I would post this song that was written for a little girl with Cancer a number of years ago...

How Dare You Stand at a Football Game!

In case you didn't hear, life-long Browns fan, Rob Stipe was ejected from his seat in the Dawg Pound, at Cleveland Browns Stadium, for standing! Yes, people complained that he was standing too much...

Crap like this started when the Browns came back and the new stadium was build...Some one decided that this should be some kind sunshine and lollipops, family friendly place...Seriously, it's a football stadium...But worse than that, is Stipe, like many others pays a lot of money for his seats...Let's remember, fans like Stipe had to pay for a Personal Seat License, which gave him the right to then buy his season tickets...Never-mind that most of these people had been season ticket holders for a long time...(Stipe has been a season ticket holder for 25 years)...So for the Browns and their security to toss any one out for simply being a fan is ridiculous...

It wasn't like he was chucking bottles and punching people in the face...He was standing! This is what happened...Stipe, was told by security to sit during the first quarter of Sunday's game when he was standing during a third down play...Then later on in the game, he was standing again and was asked to leave his seat...This due to a new rule that immediately kicks out second-offenders...

I am completely disgusted to be a Browns fan right now!

Back in the good old days...In the original Dawg Pound, everyone stood...They stood for the whole game, and they yelled at those who didn't stand, 'to get the fuck up!' I had the privilege to sit in the original Dawg Pound once...That's the place where fans threw snow balls at Boomer Esiason...Dog biscuits where thrown at stupid Mark Malone! You can't imagine the shit that was said about Elway's mother there...There was a guy dressed like Santa, only wearing orange instead of red...I saw him beating the shit out of a Steeler fan who came by to talk shit...

I'm not saying all of that is good...Hell, I'll be the first to say that a lot of those Dawg Pound people are not only nuts, but many are assholes...But shit, at least they are involved in the game...At least they cheer, and care about what happens...But now, they have some uptight assholes telling them they can't even stand...Christ, at high school games we stood the entire time...What the hell has happened to Cleveland!?!

Over and over again, people try to say what great fans Cleveland has...How Clevelanders are some of the best sports fans around...NO...It does have some great fans, but as a whole, most Cleveland sports fans are idiots...If you bitch about a die hard fans standing, you're an idiot, and you should be the one thrown out!

I hate the new Browns stadium...I've been there for 5 games, and I won't go back...I hate the design...I hate the vibe...The prices are insane...It doesn't feel like a football stadium...I miss the beer stained concrete, and dark walkways of the old Municipal Stadium...I miss feeling that every fan in the place was in this shit together...The times have changed, but they haven't changed for the better...

Tebow Has Been Replaced

That's right Tebow...ESPN has a new golden boy, and his name is Tony Romo...After Monday night's game, suddenly Tony Romo can do no wrong...Every Mike, Mike, Scott, Chris, Linda, and everyone else at ESPN is swinging on Romo's nuts...

Yes, Romo played with his cracked-up ribs, and banged up lung...He we all up in everyones' shit on the sidelines, looking like Johnny Leader...Dez Bryant even said he only played because Romo was going out there banged up...Suddenly Romo is the ultimate man!

Really, last I checked he still had his pinkie, and Ronnie Lott has his lopped off and went back in the game! Okay, I'm not trying to shit on Romo...Guy played well, while in plenty of pain...Yeah, it's nice to see a quarterback act like the rest of the guys in the league...But it is the amount of ball licking done by ESPN and other talking heads that makes me sick...

But enough about me...How the hell do you think Tim Tebow feels...Not only is he not a starting quarterback, but now this week no one is talking about him not being a starting quarterback...Tim you better get hurt at practice and then show up Sunday ready to hold that clip board all day...Shit, this is Tebow we're talking about...He better die, and rise from the dead...Then maybe ESPN will be back on his ball-bag and forget about Romo.

Monday Moaning

Well, that's the best thing I've seen all weekend!

Seriously, the past week pretty much sucked...Wednesday night the Little Beeze started getting sick...Fever, cough, congestion...We kept him away from the baby, and our oldest daughter...Because if she gets sick, she gets it ten times worse then anyone else...Luckily, they were okay...Unfortunately, Thursday night I started feeling like shit...Then the wife came home with a piece of metal stuck in her tire...

I pulled it out and put the donut on...I figured I'd get the tire fixed Friday...Friday morning I woke up feeling awful, with my wife telling me her tire was flat...WTF!...So I got the kids up and ready in a hurry...Took the wife to work dropped the oldest at school, and the sick boy, and the baby at the sitters...Then I dropped the tire at shop...Onto work...

Saturday morning came, and I was rocking a 102 degree fever and I had a double to work...I called my boss to see if there was a way out, but he didn't answer...He did work a long Friday shift and probably washed all the pain away with a 12-pack of Miller High Life...So I loaded up on Day-Quil and vitamins and went in...Thankfully he came in a couple hours later, got some one to cover the night shift, and sent me home...

I got home, poured some cough syrup down my throat, got in bed, and turned on the TV...Notre Dame was at Pitt...I was barley paying attention, when Tommy Rees threw another of his many interceptions this season...I rolled over and fell asleep in disgust...I woke up around 5:30PM had some soup, talked to the wife and kids a bit, and then I laid down with the baby for another nap...It wasn't until after 9:00PM when I found out the Irish won an ugly game...I'm glad they won, and I'm really happy to see the defense nutting up again...But it's time to get Tommy Rees out of there...The turnovers are a killer, and he's not built for this offense...

And let's be honest...The Irish have two losses, they aren't going anywhere...Yeah, if they keep winning, they land in a good bowl game, but this team isn't going to make the noise that we hoped...So let's get the kids in there...I prefer Crist over Rees, but Andrew Hendrix is build for Kelly's spread offense...And freshman Everett Golson has a strong arm and is a great runner...He is what Kelly recruited for this offense...So let's see what they can do...

Because of all the sleep I got during the afternoon and evening, I caught most of the Arizona State vs. USC game...I loved the way ASU played, and seeing USC lose is always good...

Now to Sunday...I did a lot of sleeping in the morning...Then just hung out with the kids...Did a bunch of make up school work with the Little Beeze...And then there was the Browns game...They didn't have Hillis, just their best player...Apparently he was sick too...

So I just heard a local TV anchor tease the Browns coverage saying, "The Browns get a huge win over the Dolphins!" (in that douche tv voice) Ummm ass-hat, they came from behind, in the last minute, to beat a horrible Dolphins team 17-16...That's not a huge win! They squeaked it out...They got lucky...They should be happy their defense played well...Although, again it was the Dolphins...And Colt McCoy looked like crap all day, until that final drive...And can some one please tell me how and why Brian Robiskie is on this team...How did he start the season as one of the two top WR's? Just for all you stat-hounds out there who are wondering why I am dumping on him...Dude has zero receptions...Please get the fuck off the field!

The Patriots lost to the Bills...Holy fucking shit Batman! The Pats showed they are one dimensional...They better learn how to run the ball or more teams are going to upset them like the Bills did...

Oh, and did you see Michael Vick pissing and moaning because, as he says, “Everybody saw the game, I’m on the ground constantly. All the time. Every time I throw the ball, in all my highlights and just watching film in general, every time I throw the ball, I’m on the ground, getting hit in the head, and I don’t know why I don’t get the 15-yard flags like everybody else do. But I’m not going to complain about it, just making everybody aware and hopefully somebody will take notice. The ref has to do his job and I’m not blaming the referees by any stretch. I’m just saying everybody on the field should do their job.”

So after he complains, he says, he's not going to complain...Never mind that you and the Eagles complained about this last year too, including sending video to the league to review....After he calls out the refs, he says he's not blaming the refs...Either that concussion was worse then we thought, or this fucking guy is an idiot!

Is Vick treated unfairly? Is Vick treated unfairly because he is such a running threat? Is Vick treated unfairly because the refs are dog lovers...I don't know if any of those are true...I'm just confident that Vick is being a bitch because he knows he's fragile...Fucking guy has always gotten hurt, and will continue to...

The last thing I'm going write about is Jim Thome and the Cleveland Indians...The Indians announced Friday that they would be putting up a statue of Thome, at the spot where he hit the longest home run in the history of Jacobs Field...I don't call it Progressive Field....I have to say, I'm not real excited about this, unlike many other Cleveland Indians fans...I refer back to THIS!

Yes, Thome was a huge part of a great period of Indians Baseball...And yes, I would say his numbers earn him a spot in the Hall of Fame...But I'm just not sold on the statue thing...The Bob Feller statue we have makes sense to me...Jordan in Chicago...Orr in Boston...Those make sense...But a statue for a guy who hasn't even retired yet??? Who left the team after saying he'd stay??? I just can't get behind it...And gashes, I don't think honesty makes me less of a fan...

Monday Moaning

Well it's Monday again, and it's time for another dose of Moaning...First off, this week I'm not as grumpy as I was last week...Thanks to Notre Dame not shitting the bed Saturday! You can read about that HERE...

Then there was the Browns...Coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Bengals, and rolling into Indianapolis...Now the Browns won, but unlike many folks in Cleveland, I'm not getting my hopes up...I mean, other than two excellent defensive ends, the Colts defense isn't that great...And their offense is lost without Peyton Manning...So relax Clevelanders, the Brownies still lost to the Bengals...

And what happened to the Ravens...They took apart the Steelers last week, and then this week they got punked by the Titans...WTF!?!

Cam Newton threw for over 400 hundred yards again...But he was able to mix in 3 interceptions, to help the Panthers lose! (ouch B-Dub!)

Oh, and Tom Brady was out there again Sunday, just torching mother fuckers! (423 yards and 3 TD's)

But enough of that stuff...Let's get into this College Football shit that is going down...Awhile back, I predicted, along with others, that we would see 4 "Super Conferences" in college football...Well as the Big-12 seems to be losing members, now The Big-East is falling...Pitt and Syracuse are heading to the ACC, and rumor has it, UConn and Rutgers are next...It wouldn't be a surprise to see USF head that way as well...

Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas Tech...Look for all those kids to head to the PAC-12...I see Missouri, and Iowa State going to the Big-10, and then the Big-Ten will grab some Big East leftovers...The SEC already grabbed Texas A&M...They'll pick up some one else from the Big-12...

The big questions...Where do TCU and Boise State go...They're tired of being left out by the big guns...And, will 4 "Super Conference" telling the BCS to go to hell, and calling the shots in college football, finally force Notre Dame into a conference...Will the Irish even be invited?

If it all goes down, as I think it will...We may finally get the College Football playoff we've been dying for...And when it happens, how many will start bitching about the tradition of college football...What, the tradition of bitching every season about which team or teams got screwed...Don't worry, I'm sure there will be plenty to bitch about!

As for the happenings in my world...I spent Sunday morning at Chuck-Cheese with the kids, for one of their friends birthday...That, after watching our friends daughter over night Saturday...Some one is gonna get sick, I can feel it...

Here's my little girl, Saturday night around 12:30AM...Laughing and playing...She stayed up until almost 2:00AM...

Living the dream!

Sunday afternoon, I spent a few hours chopping a hedge that runs along our driveway...The city informed me it has to be no taller than 8 feet...So my 5'7" ass was on a shaky 6 foot ladder with electric hedge trimmers...One douche neighbor, who didn't offer to help, informed me that one of the things growing in this hedge, on my next door neighbors side, was poison oak...So if some one doesn't get sick, I'm waiting for some one to start itching...

Oh, and Mrs. Beeze starts her new job Monday...Going from one giant, evil bank, to another giant evil bank...But it's a really nice bump in pay...I'm one year closer to my goal of retiring by 40!

Irish Get First Win of the Season...

And right there above is one of the keys to their success...Cornerback, Robert Blanton, who has been one of the defense's most consistent players this season, had a hell of a game against Michigan State...Blanton had 6 tackles, 3 for a loss, 1 sack, 3 passes broken up, and an interception her returned 82 yards, deep into Michigan State territory...

Saturday afternoon, in South Bend, the Irish defense finally nutted up, and took control of the game...Safety Harrison Smith was all over the place making plays...And the defensive line looked great...Lead by Freshman Aaron Lynch...Yeah, remember I mentioned him in my season PREVIEW...18 years old, 6'6" 265 lbs. and the kid was putting pressure on MSU Quarterback Kurt Cousins all day long...

he Irish gave up too many yards through the air for my liking, but holding a team to 29 yards on the ground is nice...

The Irish offense got two touchdowns from Cierre Wood, who has been rock solid for them now through 3 games...QB Tommy Rees did not put up flashy numbers like he did the last two weeks, but he has been consistent with turning the ball over...Adding another interception and another fumble to his tally...5 INT's and 3 Fumbles in two and a half games...So he has 6 TD's...5 INT's...and 3 Fumbles...Okay, Irish fans, lets stop acting like he's the greatest thing since Tony Rice...

Then the Special Teams...The Irish got a 89 yard kickoff return from Freshman George Atkinson III...I've been waiting to see this kid, and what a way to get people's attention...But then sure handed punt returner John Goodman fumbled a fair catch at his own 21 yard line...Luckily after that was when Blanton made his pick...

These guys need to seriously work on fielding punts...

I'll be honest, I kept my hopes in check this week...Even when the Irish seemed in control, I waited...After the first two games, I had no reason to be confident...Now I hope the Irish can build on this...But I'm not going to get my hopes up for next weeks game against Pitt...There are still plenty of things that need to get cleaned up...This is a good team, with plenty of talent...They just need to cool it with the brain farts!

The World Wide Leader in Shit!

Shockingly, this post isn't about Ron Jaworski saying "shit" during Monday nights telecast of the Patriots/Dolphins game...I'm annoyed so many people are bothered by that...Worse shit is said on TV all the time...Besides that, the guy had an honest moment, where he seemed to forget he was doing a broadcast, and felt like he was just talking football with the guys...Fucking people need to calm the fucking shit down!

But this post isn't about that...At the end of my MONDAY_MOANING blog, I mentioned how Joe Torre/Bud Selig/MLB refused a request by the New York Mets, to wear caps honoring 9-11 first responders on the the 10th anniversary of September 11th...I took my shots at Selig and Torre...Especially Torre since it went through his office, and I'd be willing to bet, that if it was the Yankees, he would have approved it...

But now, I'm going after ESPN...Why? Because I wrote about this bullshit Sunday night...ESPN didn't address it until Tuesday morning, when Mike and Mike danced around the topic...ESPN dubbed themselves "The world wide leader in sports" but that's crap...They may lead the world in making money covering sports, but they aren't the leader when it comes to reporting on sports...

ESPN is in bed with the NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA...All have nice, juicy TV deals with the network...So it is rare for any of the analysts, talking heads, and so-called journalists, to take any of these leagues to task for glaring mistakes that they make...Yes, Mike and Mike both agreed that MLB made a bad call here, but they were gentle...They didn't light anyone up...For God's sake, the Mets game was the featured Sunday Night Game on ESPN...The fucking world wide leader should have taken a stand and demand that the Mets be allowed to wear caps featuring the FDNY, and NYPD and whatever else they wanted to wear...

But clearly, it's the league that holds the power over the network...What the fuck is MLB going to do? When their contract is up are they gonna sign a deal with Versus? But Mike and Mike just said, MLB made a bad call...Jason Stark said, "It was a mistake"...Buster Olney tweeted, "IMO, I think MLB should have let Mets wear NYPD, NYFD hats on 9/11 anniversary. I have talked w/execs with various teams who agree with MLB."
...He also tweeted, "I wish MLB had looked at the Mets' hat situation like a version of their throwbacks -- a hat that had specific meaning, in a time and place."

Such harsh fucking words! MLB screwed up big time...They could have shown a some class, but instead they played the stupid policy game...ESPN screwed up just as bad, because they didn't use their power to force the issue...And then after the fact, they didn't use their power, to bitch slap MLB...Instead they all scrambled to apologize for an announcer saying "shit" at 10:00PM during a football game, on cable TV...That's right folks, you actually pay extra for ESPN...It's not NBC, ABC, CBS, or FOX...They are actually allowed to say "shit" just watch a show on FX at 10:00PM!

Once again, ESPN shows their lack of balls, and that they are full of shit!

No, this week we won't be starting off the post with a hottie...We'll start with Lady Liberty watching over the Ground Zero, and the construction of the Freedom Tower...I remember every detail from that day...From the moment I woke up, through falling asleep with the TV on late that night...We make a point to tell our kids about that day, and what happened...September 11, 2001 was the biggest moment in History, that I have lived through...We have to share our history with our kids, if we want them to learn...

I have no good segue at this point, to move into the much less important shit that I usually post...So here we go...I guess there are things my kids can learn from Notre Dame Football...

They can learn how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, as once again, The Fighting Irish gave away another football game...The Irish moved the ball well against Michigan, and the defense played an excellent first half...But then it all fell apart...Again, too many penalties...And again with the Turnovers...There is a group of Irish fans in love with QB Tommy Rees, and is great demeanor, but guess what...4 interceptions, and 2 fumbles, in a game and a half isn't fucking great!

Then there was this fucking guy....

Michigan QB Denard Robinson was pretty well contained in the first half, but the second half, especially the fourth quarter, he owned the Irish defense...Robinson is a big-time pimp, because he's got at least 11 bitches in his stable...Yes, the Irish D are all his bitches...In two games against Notre Dame, Robinson has over 900 yards of total offense...

As a lifelong ND fan, I'm disgusted...I can't wait for Hockey season...I lost some followers on Twitter Saturday night because of how I was blasting the Irish...But you know what, they earned that blasting...2 games into the season, and they handed both games to their opponents...Many of us Irish faithful had high hopes this season...Now, I'm just hoping they have a game without a turnover...Or one where the defense doesn't fall apart...Shit, it's no longer about wins, now it's just about not sucking...

I spent all last week defending Notre Dame Football to my buddies at work...I'm fucking done with shit...There's no defending this shit!

-Ohio State fan, again, I must remind you to relax...You beat Toledo...Big deal...Oh, by the way, you barely beat Toledo!

-Speaking of shitty Ohio Football...Clevelanders had their hopes up again, about the Browns season...And everyone thought they had an easy win coming Sunday against the Bengals...NOT SO MUCH...7 first quarter penalties for negative 48 yards! unreal! The offense looked awful early...But eventually they let Colt McCoy lose, rolling him out, and letting him look down field...But then they got away from it again...And like Notre Dame, late in the game, the defense crumbled...

I had hoped the Browns could put together a .500 season, but after the play today, and already being thin on the O-Line, and Linebacker, and in the secondary, and having shit at WR...They may be lucky to get 5 wins!

So here I sit...Born and raised Browns fan...Die-hard Notre Dame fan since I was a little kid...Football season has just begun, and I'm disgusted with my teams...Now I love college football, so it will keep my interest...But the Browns, I just don't think I can stomach another rebuilding year, considering every year since 1999 has been about rebuilding...Fantasy Football will keep in tune to the NFL, but I have little hope of the Browns turning it around quickly this year...After Sunday, I feel like it will be another, long, hard, painful, year for Browns fans...

-Did you hear about Joe Torre being a dick to the New York Mets...The Mets asked to wear caps representing 9-11 first responders...Torre, MLB’s executive vice president for baseball operations, threw policy in their face, saying, "We just felt all the major leagues are honoring the same way with the American flag on the uniform and the cap. This is a unanimity thing.”

Heaven forbid, a team from New York, do something special in honor of their city's first responders, who gave so much...Torre is a perfect fit in the MLB offices...Just like Selig, he's a fucking douche bag!

Wow! Two weeks in a row Mother Nature has been causing trouble, and gives me an excuse to post a pic of some tastiness in the rain! Not that I need much of an excuse!

So the weather caused some issues at the Notre Dame game, but the weather gets no credit for the disgrace that took place on the field...I'm not taking anything away from USF...They are a good team, with a good coach, but the Irish handed them the game right from jump...

Notre Dame looked great in their opening drive, all the way up to the point where Jonas Gray fumbled at the goal-line...If you read my IRISH_PREVIEW you saw that I pointed out, that Gray needed to knock off his fumbling habits! Too bad he didn't read it...USF scooped it up and ran it all the way back for 6...This didn't seem to rattle the Irish, except for QB Dayne Crist, who started making bad reads, and throwing bad passes...The Irish got to the red zone 4 times and left with 0 points on the board in the first half...

Theo Riddick fumbled a punt inside the Irish 20 yard line, and that rattled him for the rest of the day...He couldn't handle any punts...bobbled them all, never got his feet under himself, and looked scared shitless...Then he started dropping passes...

Oh, and don't forget the stupid fucking penalties...Harrison Smith, two fucking face-masking penalties in a row...He should have been benched...Gray and Riddick too!

Coach Brian Kelly looked like he was going to start ripping players faces off...After halftime/ a long weather delay, Kelly benched Crist, and put in Tommy Rees...The Irish came out fired up, missed a field goal...Rees threw a pick...And yet, they still were pushing to comeback...Another weather delay with 4 minutes left in the game...Then Rees threw another pick...Irish get it back, score, down by 3, go for the onside kick, don't get it, game over...

I was so upset watching this Football game, my oldest daughter, who hasn't seen this side when we go to the local high school games, asked, "Why do boys like Football so much when it makes them mad?" Good fucking question honey! I took to twitter with my anger so I wouldn't upset the kids...Some ND supporter tweeted, "We understand why Irish fans are upset. You are welcome to be upset. We will continue to support Notre Dame our mother. Don't turn on these young men."

Which of course got under my skin, so I responded with this, "Oh, thank you for allowing me to be upset! How kind of you! Wow, you've got some balls!" They came back with, "@TheBeeze34 Think you are taking what was said the wrong way. Just asking #Irish fans to not turn on our guys."

So I hit them with two more..."@TNNDN #Irish fans have the right to want their team to not fumble games away. QB's not to throw picks and make bad reads" and "@TNNDN Say what you want, but it's their job. They are getting a $50,000 yr education for playing football. Fans have the right 2 b pissed!"

I really hate when people are so arrogant, that they feel they speak for all fans everywhere, and that they need to tell us how to feel...Blow me! I'll cheer how I want, and I'll be pissed if I want...I have been a loyal, and die hard Notre Dame fan forever...And to me being a fan doesn't mean being blind...That team played like a steaming pile of dog shit, and a real fan admits to it, and calls them on it!

Fuck it, I need to move on...Speaking of Blind fans...Saw some dope Ohio State fan flying this flag...

That's right Buckeye Nation...Never forget that Jim Tressel cheated his way to that record, and now you have one of his understudies coaching the team now...So most likely the same shit is going on...Oh, and could you assholes stop being so fucking excited that Ohio State beat the hell out of Akron...Of course they did...OSU's 3rd stringers are better then Akron's 1st team...That's why they play at Akron! And since I'm here, Why the fuck hasn't Roger Goodell Suspended Jim Tressel yet...If you didn't know, Tressel got a job as a BS assistant with the Colts...Now Goodell upheld the NCAA's ruling on Terrell Pryor, and suspended him for his first 5 games in the league...So why hasn't he come out and done the same to Tressel...Tressel was given 2 games by the NCAA initially, and then said he'd take 5...Once again, the commissioner's office is being inconsistent in it's rulings...

And any of you Suckeye fans have a problem with me writing truth, all I have to say is this...

Now, who missed the TCU vs. Baylor game Friday night...Listen, if you see a reply airing on one of the ESPN's, watch it, and remember what I wrote about ROBERT_GRIFFIN back in July!

Now I've spent all this time bitching about Football...Real quick, lets get into something else...Mrs. Beeze and I have both gotten emails from people in the last week...They've been those chain-letter types of emails...We've gotten them from about 5 people, all the same, telling us how we all need to be flying our American Flags on the 10th anniversary of 9-11...Let me ask you this...Why the fuck aren't you flying your American Flag every day!?!

The Beeze's 2011 Notre Dame Football Preview

I figure I better get this done since the Irish kick off their season Saturday...And in case you don't know, that guy above, Manti Te'o is going to be a big factor again this year...

Te'o, (133 tackles last season) leads a Notre Dame defense that showed steady improvement throughout last season...And the heart of the defense is Te'o and his fellow linebackers...Playing in the 3-4, he is joined in the middle by Carlo Calabrese, a run stopping machine...Seniors Anthony McDonald and David Posluszny add depth at middle linebacker...Sophomore Kendall Moore hopes his play on special teams will help get him in the rotation...

Senior Darius Fleming and sophomore Prince Shembo will be the starting outside linebackers with senior Steve Filer getting plenty of time in the rotation...Junior Dan Fox hopes to see more playing time either at the middle or outside, after having a great spring...

As good as the Irish look at LB, they look just as good at quarterback...

Dayne Crist will once again be the starter, no matter how much Irish fans fell in love with Tommy Rees late last season...Crist and his skill set are perfect for coach Brian Kelly's offense...Much of the playbook went un-used when Rees had to step in...While he is a excellent passer, he lacks the all-around athletic ability of Crist...Of course Crist has to stay healthy, something that has happened the last couple years...

If injury strikes, Rees, while he has experience, may not be the guy, as Sophomore Andrew Hendrix, who has the strongest arm of the bunch, is breathing down his neck...Hendrix is also a very tough and physical runner...Behind him is Freshman Everett Golson who is the fastest and most athletic of all the QB's...

With Armando Allen, and Robert Hughes now gone, the bulk of the running back duties fall to Cierre Wood...

Wood has a great speed, and excellent vision, and should do well in the spread...For the tougher yards, that Hughes pounded out, the Irish will look to Jonas Gray to be tougher, and hold onto the ball...But the Irish are thin at RB...Freshman Cam McDaniel will most likely be the third back on the team, and will get a look on kick returns...

At Wide Receiver, the Irish will look first and foremost at Michael Floyd...Floyd of course needs to stay healthy for once, and stay out of trouble...Personally I was disappointed that he wasn't hit with a tougher punishment for his latest DUI...

Behind Floyd is TJ Jones, and play-maker, Theo Ridick...Seniors John Goodman and Deion Walker need to step up this year...While undersized, Robby Toma (5'9", 175) seems to make all the tough catches, and makes a nice slot receiver...

Tyler Eifert is looking to be the next in a long line of excellent ND Tight Ends...Fifth year senior Mike Ragone is trying to comeback from countless injuries...Look for Sophomore Alex Welch to get some looks this year...

The Offensive Line is loaded with experience, and depth...Junior left tackle Zack Martin is one of the best in college football...He'll be joined by Chris Watt on the left side...Senior Braxton Cave anchors the line at center...Next to him on the right is seniors Trevor Robinson, and Taylor Dever...The Irish have 3 seniors to work in the rotation, including the versatile ANdrew Nuss...The Irish also have 5 freshman and a couple of sophomores waiting in the wings...

Lead by senior ends, Kapron Lewis-Moore and Ethan Johnson, the defensive line should be just as good as the linebackers...Junior Sean Cwynar will start at Nose Tackle, but Hafis Williams and Louis Nix will get plenty of playing time...But the player to watch, is early enrollee DE, Aaron Lynch, (6'6", 260) who by all accounts was the most impressive player in the spring game...

While, raw, the Irish coaching staff love his skill and athletic ability...Another top recruit, and DE, Stephon Tuitt (6'5", 270) could also find his way into some playing time...

Now we come to the Secondary, which will be lead by fifth-year senior, safety, Harrison Smith...

Smith is an intense, hard hitting, athletic player who was the teams second leading tackler last season...He needs to be even better this year, if the Irish defense is going to continue to progress...Playing the other safety spot will most likely be Zeke Motta, who stepped in when Jamoris Slaughter went down with an injury last year...Slaughter should still get plenty of playing time, and may be the teams nickel back, since the Irish are so thin at corner, and having played corner in the past...

the Irish have two excellent corner backs in Robert Blanton, and Gary Gray...Both have plenty of experience, quality cover skills, and both play the run very well...But behind them is youth and inexperience...Sophomores Bennett Jackson and Lo Wood need to really step up, or the Irish could be in trouble, if either Blanton or Gray get injured...

As for special Teams...the Irish have an excellent kicker in David Ruffer...Freshman Kyle Brindza will push for kick-off duties, and to take the punting job, as he has shown to have the teams most powerful leg...The Irish have plenty of talented players to use in the return game...Look for Theo Riddick and Bennett Jackson to get the first cracks at it...

I expect 10 wins this year...The Notre Dame schedule is not a walk in the park...They open Saturday against a good USF team, that has an underrated, multiple-threat QB in B.J. Daniels...And lots of team speed on the defensive side of the ball...This game should give us a good read on what the Irish really has as a team...

Now before I get into it...Relax Texas...I'm not shitting on all of you...Just these bastards...I have friends in Texas, and I know not everyone there are child-killing assholes, or stupid governors, who don't believe in Science...

Now, to the fat bastards...I heard about this Monday evening, and I was losing my mind...Those two fat asses above, Michael Ray James and Tina Marie Alberson thought punishing his son, her stepson, Jonathan, for wetting the bed was to be taken seriously...So seriously, that they deprived him of water for five days...Jonathan was 10 years old...Now he's dead...That will happen when Texas is rocking 100 plus degrees days for over a mouth...

Jonathan's twin brother Joseph told authorities they would make him stand in front of a window, in the sunlight, for hours...No Air Conditioning...No water...When he was given a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, he choked on the peanut butter from his throat being so dry...He was still not allowed water...Joseph said he wanted to help his brother, but was terrified that he would be punished in the same way...They didn't care about about Jonathan's well being until he collapsed...But by the time he got to the hospital, it was over...

This boy did not deserve to suffer like that...

His father and stepmother on the other hand, they deserve to suffer even more...My wife would prefer me to not be pro-death penalty, but stories like this aren't going to help her argument...As a matter of fact, I would gladly take a government job, traveling the country, executing pieces of shit like this for the good of all mankind...

Okay, so here's the deal...This week's post may not have much to do with the sports...Instead, I'm going to take a swing at the weather, and the media...But first, let me get after you West Coasters first...Yeah, you fuck-nuts that go to a 49ers pre-season game packing heat...Shut your fucking mouths!

Last week some dopes from California were trashing the East Coast, because of their reaction to a 5.9 earthquake...We get it cum-dumpsters, you can take a little shaking...But those East Coast people aren't use to it, so relax...You know what...I hope Mother Nature gives California a nice Christmas present...I hope this year she hits your asses with a Syracuse style Winter...You know, 15 degrees, before you factor in the wind chill...And about 30 inches of snow dumped on you in a day! Fucking arrogant assholes, then you'd be begging for a quake!

Now, East Coasters...Yes, you got blasted by a Hurricane...Boy the hyped the shit out of Irene, and by the time she hit land she was only a category 1, but it was too late...The media monsters invested too much into her, so they had to keep pushing the non-stop coverage...Love the report, showing some shingles blowing off of a waterfront motel...NOT SHOCKING!

Then there was the first death...It's very sad about the loss of life because of Irene...Except the first fatality...Of course it was an idiot, fucking surfer! Listen, you go riding waves in a Hurricane, you better expect to die fuck-tard!

But the big thing was the non-stop hype about Irene heading for New York City...Pick any news outlet, they all act like NYC is the center of the universe...I get that it's theirs, but it ain't mine...The center of my universe is between my wife's legs!

As the forecasts kept coming in, you could see it wasn't going to crush New York City, but that wasn't stopping the machine...A late night/early morning headline read: "New York City Prepares for Irene's Worst" ....Hey you fucking dummies, New York isn't getting Irene's worst...Bitch left her worst south...Ask The Outer Banks and Virginia about Irene's worst you fucking children!

And then Irene blew by NYC...Roughing up Queens and Coney Island a bit...But no epic scene like some shit from "The Day After Tomorrow"...You arrogant Nancie's got some wind and rain, and acted like it was the end of days...Christ, Albany got hit harder with the storm then you did! And then the storm was onto New England, and slowly, one by one, the media outlets started dropping their storm coverage, and went back to their traditional, meaningless and often shitty programming...And all I really wanted to see was Al Roker get washed away!

Moving on to other meaningless bullshit...The MTV Video Music Awards was Sunday night...I didn't watch, so I have no details...But I have to ask...Why do the still have VMA's when they don't even show videos anymore!?!

So now, just a quick bit of sports...High School Football season has started, and now the Football has kicked in...Except for my local high school team, which got throttled 64-14 in their opener Friday night...OUCH!

Then there was the BIG Jim Thome Homecoming weekend...I wrote about Thome coming back, last week...For some reason MY_VIEW isn't popular in this town...In a city where the economy has kicked people in the ass, all the sudden these dopes have plenty of money to buy brand new Thome gear...Unreal...

Oh, and it was so sweet that some PR douche told all the players to wear high socks for Friday's big return of Thome...Great job going 0-4 Jim...Then Saturday, they all went nuts, because he hit a Home run...Completely over-shadowing Asdrubal Cabrera's 3 run, game winning, home run...Who cares that Cabrera won us another game, Thome got a dinger! Fuck you...Fuck you twice, because they gave him Sunday off...Oh, the poor, DH can't play three games in a row...It's so hard riding the pine, waiting to do one of two things...HR or Strikeout!

Fuck Cleveland....Relax...Have some self respect...The guy exactly the same thing that LeBron James did (minus the big tv show) and none of you gave a shit...You just swung from his nuts! C-town, stop rooting for the players, and start rooting for the teams...

Well, Cleveland Indians fans are all a buzz...There are hard dicks all around Cleveland, because Jim Thome is coming back to Cleveland...There was a #Thomecoming trending on Twitter...People on Facebook saying, "Welcome home Jim"...

They've all forgotten...Thome repeatedly telling fans, and the media, he wanted to be an Indian for his entire career...Thome telling people he was going to stay in Cleveland...But he didn't...Him, and Tom Glavine were pressured by the Union to take top dollar...It didn't matter that Thome wanted to stay in Cleveland...It didn't matter that Glavine wanted to stay in Atlanta...The union pushed them around, and the union won...

Thome stood there in Philly, weeping how he never thought he'd leave Cleveland, and how much he loved the town....And for some reason, Cleveland fans loved him even more...He stuck it to us, and you kept loving him...Whenever he came back to Cleveland, Indians fans stood and cheered...Indians radio announcer, Tom Hamilton did everything except suck his dick on the air...The TV guys too...They all kept telling us what a great guy he was...

Bullshit, he lied...We were ready to string LeBron James up for lying to us, but this hay head gets a pass...Every time Manny Ramirez came back to town, these asshole fans boo'ed him...Except Manny never lied to us...Manny never said he wanted to stay here...Manny never told fans he wasn't leaving...(and this was before we found out Manny was juicing)...

I have heard idiots in Cleveland trash Cliff Lee, for not signing here...Who cares that the team traded him with 2 years left on his deal!

Cleveland fan has a very selective memory....It makes me sick how much people in this city are fawning over this Thome coming back...He did the very thing that makes Cleveland fans hate athletes, yet nobody bothers to remember Thome being the asshole...Just everyone else...

Kickoffs, Race in Sports, and Danica Patrick

-Okay, we'll start with this bitch first...Since Wednesday night I've had to hear reports that Danica Patrick is going to be switching to NASCAR full-time....Ummm, I don't give a shit! I would guess even racing fans don't really give a shit...Maybe if this skank would actually win a few races, people would take news about her seriously...But they don't...All she is to the world, is eye candy...Something to spank it to...And she isn't even that hot...Nor has she gotten totally naked and blown a horse, while having a monkey shit on her, so she's lost my interest already!

-Next up, kickoffs in the NFL...Hey asshole rules committee, I want my kickoffs back...This is more pussification of America going on...If high school kids are returning kickoffs, the NFL's millionaires can do it too...Yes, injuries can happen on kickoffs, but injuries happen on any and every play on a football field...Besides that, there are players who only get a chance in the NFL because the first got work on kickoff teams...Former Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce said it on ESPN a couple weeks ago..."If it wasn't for getting a chance on the kickoff coverage team, no one would no me."

Besides that, the NFL has killed off what can be one of the most exciting plays in Football...Every year they try to make the game safer..Instead they are slowly ruining, while players are still getting hurt...You're not helping anyone, you're just pissing off your fans...

-Now, to the real touchy subject...Race in Sports has come up again this week...There was THIS article in the Washington Times...So this guy says, the decline in black players should concern us...Who the fuck are you to tell me what should concern me!?! And I would think that the 600,000 African children on the verge of starvation should concern us...It sure as shit should concern you more then the decline of blacks playing baseball...But then again Mr. Snyder, your paper has only covered that "Briefly"...

But since this is such a major story...Ummm, a story that USA Today writes once a year...Lets get at it...I think it's idiotic to think Baseball or any sport worse off because of a decline in any racial group...It's almost as if Mr. Snyder is flat out saying, 'no matter what, blacks are better athletes then whites'...which to me is some stupid shit...Borderline racist shit, that no one will call him on...But I will, because I'm so sick of this topic, and hacks like him...

Should we also be concerned about the decline in white players in the NBA? I'll bet you'll say no, because that wouldn't be Politically Correct...Should Canada be concerned that the number of Canadian youths playing Hockey has gone down? I don't know, maybe they should be happy that they are finding more things to do other then just playing hockey...Should the NHL be concerned that there is an increase in European players? I would say yes...Hockey doesn't need more pussies like the Sedin twins! Or should Hockey be concerned that the number of black players is slowly on the rise? Of course not you asshole!

This whole topic pisses me off...I'm sick of "Journalists" repeatedly trying to tell us how racist we are...I'm sick of "White Guilt" being pushed down my throat...I'm sick of these hacks trying to tell me, you, leagues, and companies, how bad we are, and how we should be better...Mr.Snyder, why don't you go to one of those refugee camps in Africa and see what real concerns are...You haven't got a clue! If you opened your eyes, maybe you'd understand that who is playing what sports, for millions of dollars, really means very little when you look at the big picture...

Friday August 24th 1951, 10 year old Beverly Potts vanished from her Cleveland neighborhood...Never to be seen again...The case is still open...And even though it has nothing to do with me...It haunts me...

She had disappeared after attending a showagon at Halloran Park....The showagon was a group of singers dancers, and other performers, that went from park to park near the end of Summer...Halloran Park was at the corner of Beverly's street, Linnet and 117th...

Beverly had gone there with her best friend and next door neighbor, Patsy Swing...Beverly was told she stay for the whole show...Patsy had to be home by dark...When it got close to 9:00 PM...Patsy left...She tried to get Beverly to come with her...But Beverly wanted to stay...And did...

Once it was 10:00 PM, Beverly's parents, and older sister became worried...Her father and sister went to the park to look for her...They came back with no signs of Beverly...They checked again...Her mother called the police...Later, after the police hadn't shown up...Her sister called the police again...It was now after midnight...The search was on...Her father Robert searched the neighborhood...Neighbors began to realize something was wrong...And started searching also...

By all accounts, Beverly was extremely shy...Especially around boys, and men...Even men she knew...So the thought that she would have left willingly with some one was highly doubted...Yet no one at the park had noticed any type of struggle, or anything alarming...It's estimated that there was 1500 people there...

Then Saturday morning came...No sign of Beverly...The neighborhood was in shock...The Cleveland police was working non-stop, lead by Chief of Detectives, James E. McArthur...Every lead...I stress every, was checked out...Hot lines were setup...All three Cleveland papers were covering the story, non-stop...

One of the scariest things to me, is the number of stories that came out...A woman down the block from the Potts house hearing a girl scream "I want to go home!" as a car sped by...A man seeing a young girl in a car with an older man...And then seeing that car in a field a short time later, about a mile or so away...The man beating the girl...A cab driver picking up a suspicious looking man and a young girl on 117th, and taking them to the bus station...These are just a few...You can't be sure what is true, and what isn't...But if any of them are true, why the hell didn't some one do something, or speak up sooner...

There was also many reports of people seeing a particular type of car...With a creepy looking person...Some accounts saying two people...Trolling around the park during the Showagon...

It's all so sketchy...Especially 60 years later...Yet...Even today...If a tip comes in...It's checked out...It's still an open case...Nothing has ever been found...

The Potts family was investigated...Neighbors interviewed...Classmates interviewed...Every know sex offender questioned...I was surprised to read how well the police kept tabs on sex offenders back then...Over the years, there have been many promising tips, that have just never panned out..

In 2001 letters were received at the Cleveland Plain Dealer...A dying man confessing to the disappearance, molestation, and murder of Beverly...On the 50th anniversary of the disappearance, he was going to turn himself in at Halloran Park...Then he sent another letter, just weeks before...Saying he has become to sick, and was being put into a nursing home...The Police checked everything and anything they could...The man was never found....Beverly has never been found...No trace of her has ever been found...

It's been said, that after Beverly's disappearance, Her mother Elizabeth, "seemed to be crying softly virtually all the time." I can only imagine. Elizabeth Potts died 5 years later, in 1956...

I said at the beginning that this story haunts me...I'm not sure why...I do know that it bothers me even more, now that I have kids of my own...My father grew up at Halloran Park...It was just steps from his childhood home...He knew of Beverly Potts...He's a few years older then her...She was friends with my aunt...

I had spent plenty of time at Halloran Park when I was kid...We'd walk up there when we were visiting my grandfather...I didn't find out about the Beverly Potts story until I was in high school...Although I didn't think much of it...But I always felt uneasy at the park after that...I took my wife there once...It was our first date that didn't start in a bar after work...We went ice skating there...But I still felt strange...I drive past Halloran everyday...And I think about what may have happened to that little girl...

I always think about how much better things were in our society, when i was kid...I knew there were kid touchers, and evil people...I was prepared for it...But it didn't seem to be too bad...Then I would think about when my parents were growing up, and how much better a time it was in the world...There couldn't be this much bad sh!t...Then I learned about Beverly Potts...And her story leads you to so many more horrible stories that happened back then...Clearly, this world has always been f**ked up....

I guess all we can do is prepare our children for the bad as best we can...While not forgetting to show them the good...

Many times you hear questions like, 'If you could ask God one question...What would it be?' Or some silly sh!t like that...I'd ask, WHERE'S BEVERLY POTTS?

Not that it would do any good for her family...They're all gone...Maybe it's just my Catholic upbringing that just wants that poor child's soul to finally rest peacefully.

Why Were the Rockies so Eager to Move Jimenez?

It's a serious question...Why would a team move their top pitcher, who they have under a very manageable contract for two more years, and an option for a third? Well I'll tell you...Because Ubaldo Jimenez is broken...

He's physically, and mentally broken...After being traded, he made the Tribe wait before joining them, saying he was "Mentally exhausted" from the whole situation...In his 4 starts since joining the Indians he has 1 win, and a 7.29 ERA...He can't get ahead of batters and is always pitching from behind...He doesn't have a consistent delivery with any of his pitches...Repeating his motion is out of the question...

And as the Indians got swept this past weekend by the Tigers, their chance of taking the division is slipping away...They need Jimenez to be an ace if they are going to make the run they brought him to be...

I was excited to see the Indians actually be buyers at the deadline...I wasn't happy that they traded their top two pitching prospects and two others, to get Jimenez...I wanted Hunter Pence, but they weren't willing to move those two guys for the quality, right-handed, power bat, outfielder that they desperately needed...But they made a bold move and I had to respect that...But maybe they should have thought about the deal more...Why did the Yankees pass on Jimenez? Why did the Red Sox pass on Jimenez? Why were the Rockies so eager to move him?

Clearly they knew something was wrong with him...Now the Indians own the head-case, and they need to fix him quickly...

It's Your Responsibility Not Your Job

Some ladies are going to get pissed about this, but too bad...Women have fought for equal rights for years, so it's time to take the good with the bad...

lately I've heard too much talk about women being mothers, and calling it a job...Then today I saw these two women talking about studies on stay at home moms vs. working moms...But they kept referring to being a mother as a job...THIS was the one woman...I wasn't impressed with her non-stop smiling, and her upbeat tone, about how moms who work, are better at their job as a mother...

First, I have no problem with working mothers...My mom went back to work, when I was in 2nd grade, and it didn't effect me...She wasn't ant better or worse of a mother...But also, there was my Dad...Remember Dad...The other parent...When mom went to her 9-5 job, he switch his schedule, to 4-midnight...So there was always a parent around...So that some one was there if we needed it...

In my early years of fatherhood, I worked 70 hours a week, and my wife stayed home with the baby...Then she got a good job, and I switched jobs, to work less hours, and be home more...Now she is the primary bread winner, and I am the primary care giver...I get them ready and off to school...Go to work...Pick them up...Play at the park...Do homework with them...Make dinner...Wash the dishes...I get up with the baby at night...I am the Mr. Mom...

Guess what? I don't call being a father, my job...I've never heard a father say that...Ladies, it's not your job to be a parent...It's your responsibility! Once a guy unloads into a woman, what comes next, is his responsibility...Once you let a guy unload in you, what happens nest, is a responsibility...Can it be tough? Yes...Could it tire you out like work? Yes...Is it you job? NO! There's no paycheck involved...Just the hope that you didn't screw these kids up to bad!

It's time to man-up ladies!

Monday Moaning

What does this pic represent? It's a sexier view of the Tigers smothering the Indians to death...The Tribe went into Detroit this weekend with a great opportunity to take the division...But instead, they shit the bed, and got swept...While they're still not out of it, what happened this weekend, I feel will be the kill shot to the Tribe's season...

-As I sit here writing this post, I have the news on in the background...Rebels have taken over Libya...While some are celebrating this, I have to wonder...just as I have with all these uprisings in the Middle East...What's next...The news covers the over-throwing of the "evil" dictators, but doesn't bother to follow up on the cluster fuck that happens after the fact...Then all these fuckers look at the U.N. and the U.S. to help them fix their mess...Whatever!

-There's been a lot of talk about about Terrelle being allowed in the supplemental NFL's draft...I would first say why bother wasting a draft pick on this guy? A bunch of teams have shown interest, but bitch is a project...He's gonna be your 3rd string QB, and if you 1 and 2 go down with injuries, you'll be checking the waiver wire, before you play this kid...He stares down his primary receiver...His throwing motion sucks...The majority of his passes go down into the turf...Yes, he's athletic, but like Tebow...He's far from ever being a #1 NFL QB...

-All this talk about the illegal activity at Miami had me searching for a clip from Bill Burr...He mentions "The U" briefly...But it's funny...

-I decided one thing for sure this weekend...I'll be avoiding being a San Fransisco sports fan for the rest of my life...After A giants fan got beat down at Dodger stadium at the beginning of the year, now two people have been shot outside of the 49ers, Raiders game Saturday...Seriously, what's in the fucking water on the left coast...I'm all about sports and my teams...But FUCK! I thought you Bay Area people were suppose to relaxed hippies...Isn't Weed legal out there...

Chris Drury: Good Bye and Good Luck

After having his contract bought out a few weeks ago, Chris Drury officially retired today...As a Hockey fan, I always loved the guy...Of course I love to see American born players do well...But it was his Awesome play in the playoffs that really got me fired up...

After putting together strong runs in Colorado, he landed in Buffalo, where his leadership skills shined...Then he signed the monster contract with my New york Rangers...While he was still a great leader, and one of the best defensive players around, he never lived up to the contract...Especially once injuries started taking a toll on his body the last couple of seasons...

I hope he won't be just remembered as a bust with the Rangers...I hope he isn't just remembered for his little league world series performance, oh so many years ago...I hope people will remember the drive...The leadership...The clutch play...The face-offs won...The shot blocking, penalty killing, do whatever it takes kind of guy he was...

Best of luck to Chris Drury!

To Pay or Not to Pay....

Everytime a major College Football program gets in trouble, the topic of paying college athletes comes up...For a number of years I was in favor of giving players a stipend...Yes, these athletes get full scholarships to these universities, but I always bought into the theory, of they still need spending money...And why shouldn't they get a tatse...They are making their Universities, and the NCAA boat loads of money every year...

But my opinion may have switched...Yes, they are making the NCAA and their Universities tons of money, but that free room and board, books, and free education, is pretty fucking expensive these days...

And then we start getting the articles, and tv shows, and radio hosts, who say these kids take the money, because of a socieconomic difference...This is brought up mainly because such a large number the players caught are black...Well, that's a weak, bullshit excuse...Because, as you can see from the Ohio State scandal, and now the Miami scandal, these players didn't take teh money to buy pizza, or take their girl friend out on a date...No, instead they make deals for cars...Tattoos...Strippers...Partying...Hookers...Hookers' abortions..."Bling"...Fancy clothes, and other unnecessary bullshit...

Included in the names dropped in teh Miami scandal, was Kellen Winslow Jr...Don't try that socieconomic shit there...Dude was a rich kid, who's daddy made plenty of cash in the NFL, and was smart with his money...Jr. wasn't some kid who had it tough, growing up in the hood...He was just a rich punk, who wanted more...

Stop trying to play the race game, or the poor kid game...This game is all about Greed...The NCAA is greedy, making money on the backs of teh schools...The schools are greedy, making money on teh backs of the players...The players see that, and they're greedy, and they want theirs...And they willingfully, take illegal gifts and money, from greedy doners who want to feel a part of something bigger...Trickle-down economics is still alive and kicking...

And as much as we want to see the NCAA be tough on these programs, and make major changes to fix things, they won't...There is too much money to be made off of these players and programs!
